I purchased a deal allowing me to use their gym and pool facilities. The staff were helpful and it was in all an enjoyable experience

One of the best Hilton hotels I've ever stayed at! The Jacuzzi and sauna are amazing too.

Staff were really friendly and helpful, whilst bring totally professional. Rooms were of good quality for use and facilities were clean. The food in the restaurant was excellent.

Room very clean, bed very comfy with feather pillows and staff very helpful. Two restaurants the main one being Grey's with outstanding food and service. Worth the money and I will return

Went here for honeymoon after being married to my husband. We are a gay couple. They left cupcakes with happy birthday written on them and a card for us saying congratulations "Mr and Mrs." There was hair in the bathtub that wasn't ours. The front desk denied having complimentary breakfast even though the hotel does. The service was so so at best.

Staff were all very friendly.Nice location.Good choice of food for breakfast.

Room smelt like pooop well old water but the hotel as a whole was great food good upset that the lounge had closed before I checked in

Nice, if slightly 'traditional' hotel. I'm travelling in a large party and when we arrived one door wasn't working, so only a revolving door for 40 of us, and 2 lifts. We couldn't use the stairs because there was work being done on the atrium floor. This aside, however, Hilton hotels are usually of a good standard, and this one matched that.

Disappointed with my stay at the Hilton. Not a good check in experience. Not nice food with room service . Problem with spa which is separate to Hotel.

A good option for a Cardiff city centre stay. Good restaurant and gym facilities, close to all city sites and shops.

Great location. Daughter loved the swimming pool! Lovely big rooms and the biggest sink I've seen in a hotel bathroom .

Lost my clockroom ticket, yet staff were extremely helpful finding my coat.

When for afternoon tea which was just ok. Nice food and cakes but not the best. The sandwiches were a bit dry one end and soggy on the other end (where the tomato or cucumber was)

I would give 5 but rooms are a bit old to my taste and smelling old. But after switching to another better room it was comfortable. Breakfast was great!

Stayed in one of the club rooms and certainly worth the little extra...1st class

This is a review of the Escape Spa, which is on the second floor of the Hilton Hotel. I had a massage and a facial. The staff were friendly and helpful. I felt their customer service was great. However, I would say that I was disappointed with the relaxation room. It is quite small and there is a lot of noise from the pool, not quite so relaxing. Overall though, I would recommend.

Great welcome from staff, room clean, shower great, breakfast fresh. Ironing board in the room needed some tlc

The Hilton Cardiff is a very modern facility surrounded by so much history in the heart of Cardiff. It's walking distance from the Cardiff Castle and museums. My room was clean and quiet. The bathroom was huge. Great for business travel. There are also lots of places to eat and shop around it. I highly recommend it.

Just arrived home after having Christmas day lunch there. Can't fault it beautiful meal and good service. Merry Christmas and well done to all staff who worked today

Grey's restaurant is boutique style. Lots of choices and great food..friendly staff and a sheer delight. Would go again. I loved it.

Really liked the hotel, although I asked for a twin room as I was staying with my dad, go a double bed so I had to sleep on the sofa bed, if I had a choice between sleeping another night on that bed or chlamydia, I would have another STD!

Great atmosphere a lot of very happy welshmen and women great game of rugby.

Decided on my way back to the states with a layover in London to spend a couple of days touring southern Wales. Rented a car and headed southwest; this Hilton is in a great location to base your travels from visiting the numerous historic sites all around Cardiff. Very Nice clean and friendly staff at this Hilton Cardiff. Spent a couple nights and had no negative issues. The location is perfect for visiting Cardiff... everything is in walking distance.

Not our best stay at the Hilton. Stayed here to meet friends and had pre-booked dinner on Saturday night, big mistake! The menu was so reduced and restricted and the reason given was that it was because of suppliers. That just can't be true and it certainly wasn't reflected in the price. The worse thing is that we had breakfast in The Alchemists on Saturday morning and they had no issue with the supply of complex ingredients. The barman Joel was excellent though.

Lovely welcome after twice round the block to find how to park at front (more signage would have helped plus advice on how to avoid the buslanes). Concierge and team were splendid as too the receptionists . Rooom was great large airy clean and bed and pillows very comfortable,desperate for a cuppa but didnt find the kettle extra until late that night when i had to turn off the frige as it was making louder and louder noises and i thoight it would explode! Then luckily i dont shower im a bather so bath was ok but not as described on first booking . Cant say the same for the shower cubicle .. i did ask for a feedback form but was told they dont do them anymore .. so apoloies ill spill the beans here .. the unit had a dangerously broken corner and both the walls and sliding door and unit had black mould on it door had other colours of mould dirt or rust .. bright orange ... as i said i dont use the shower else i would have reported it on the first night. The towels were ok except i had a holey one and would have expected good standard of linen . The ironing board cover was filthy and as i had conference clothes to iron had to request a clean oe which was brought to me however so thin when i ironed it put the wire mesh of the stand onto my clothing but it had to suffice.. needless to saymy granddaughter would have loved her clothes looking like they had little mermaid scales! . So was a good stay but its the little things that count Hilton for a perfect 10/10

Really lovely view from executive room on 7th floor.

I visit the pool, here. It is warm and clean and only 1.2 metres deep, perfect for a new swimmer like me. The jacuzzi is just great, too.

Very old beds stunk / TV was out dated would have expected more from a hilton.

Great stay, hotel was really busy with the Cardiff Half Marathon starting just outside, but the staff were amazing and got us a room (with an awesome view) well before we would have expected. Very professional team. Lovely hotel in great location

Very good stay. Comfortable rooms. Only slight issue was the pillows were a bit too thick. I would have preferred 4 thin pillows rather than 2 thick pillows. But that is just me being picky

Classy but if you can afford it is a secure, luxury option

Only used the room but the doorman and receptionists were very welcoming

The rooms were well lit and very clean, and he staff were very friendly and accomadating. The only issue was the broken elevator so there were queues lasting 10 minutes to get to your floor and I could not find the stair access. I would stay here again given the chance due to the staff and the prime views of Cardiff Castle.

Rugby match day and there was nothing like enough staff on.

I would say it is exactly what one would expect from a city hotel of a world know brand. Of course there were some minor issues especially some of the room equipment is getting a bit old but I think that can be easily overlooked.
Also hotel has good working spa facility just could clean the floor more often as it was quite dirty.

A very competent business hotel. Rooms are modern and spacious, and well located near the main shopping street in town. 20m pool is nice, but the gym gets very busy at peak times as it is also open to non-hotel guests who subscribe.

I made a reservation with a Hilton membership. You can hear the lively appearance of the weekend from the roar of the lobby, so you may be anxious with your young children. But the breakfast buffet, while looking at Cardiff Castle in front, takes a position to be a buddy, great satisfaction It is recommended to the fans of Cardiff Castle

This was my first trip to Cardiff. The staff in the hotel are really friendly and helpful. The hotel room that I stayed in was spacious and I had a good nights sleep. I enjoyed using the gym in the hotel. Breakfast was a treat and the chef made great omelets. I wanted to say #ThankYou.
The weather wasn't great, but that being said from what I was able to see of Cardiff I am looking forward to comming back for a few days holiday.
The only downside I experienced was net getting my pillow I left in the room returned to me.
