A little disappointing. I wasn't warned about the bus lane directly outside the hotel and as my car was pointing in that direction after the valet dropped it off I proceeded to drive straight down the bus lane and will likely be fined. The bus lane is not clearly marked, neither are the roads outside the hotel. My colleague, who has stayed at the hotel numerous times was warned about the bus lane but she left before me and only told me about it later on. I would be a good idea to warn people of this. Don't turn left as you come out.

Had a spa day bought for me as a gift, including afternoon tea. The afternoon tea I cannot fault. It was delicious!!! And the spa experience was brilliant aswell, the therapist I had was really lovely and the massage/facial was one of the best iv had. The facilities however is what has let the Hilton down. Very dated, dirty, mouldy within the pool/jacuzzi and sauna area. The changing rooms had cobwebs on the light fittings & I was given a dirty towell. Not what I'd expect of such well known upmarket hotel chain.

A lovely clean upmarket hotel right in the city centre of Cardiff. Great base for the castle, shops and the national museum and art gallery. Staff friendly and helpful. Prices are okay for the location. Great food as you would expect but not cheap but great for a treat. Well worth a visit and a stay

Went to a Dinner dance at the hotel. A very nice place, well organised with friendly staff. The service was good, as was the food. The drinks weren't too expensive, but of course it was an hotel!
A really good experience.

This Hotel is not up to Hilton standards.

This Hotel is not up to Hilton standards.
Tired and dated decor in public areas and rooms
Lounge closed and alternative offering so bad as to be ridiculous.
Breakfast was cold and disgusting.
The staff over all just functional and not focused on the customer.
The car park in basement next door building.
It is filthy dirty and part of it flooded and unusable. Hilton guests required to walk down car ramp and through garbage area of the building.
This hotel needs to be inspected by Hilton quality control and the issues fixed.

Visited Hilton 2nd March for prosecco lunch. Have visited previously on 3 occasions and would have highly recommended, However the experience yesterday extremely poor. Prosecco very poor quality complained where they swapped this for a different bottle. Food not as good as previously served and had to return . Will, not be returning.

Came down to stay at the Hilton Cardiff for Easter and also for the May Day Bank Holidays. The hotel is opposite the castle and the Crown Court.

The hotel has a great swimming pool.

The executive lounge had great views of the Castle. The lounge is only open in the evening between 18:00 and 20:00, also as had been noted in other reviews the choice of food and drink is very limited. Other Hilton s I have stayed in I did not need to eat in the restaurant for dinner. The breakfast had a good selection of fruit, I did not have the cooked option so I cannot comment on it. The staff running the lounge were great.

I ate and drank in the bar downstairs and the food was delicious.

All the staff that I met were all so helpful and friendly. Special mention should be made for Jeff and the Spanish Lady behind the bar. Message to management look after after them they are good.

I found that the digital key that you can use on your smartphone was so temporal that I could never tell whether it would work or not. Luckily reception were able to give me a key card so I had plan B if I needed to.

I intend to stay at this hotel again sometime.

No functioning socket or charging point near to bed. Windows don't open. Room 635 almost impossible to find. Came out of the lift sign said go left or right. Walked round looking for room and further signage but ended up where i started with no sign of the room. Even following numbers sequentially. The positive was that my room was quiet my colleagues in other rooms all complained of loads of noise late at night.

The business lounge facilities are good. The down side is no parking on site. Watch out for the bus lane and bus lane camera directly outside the hotel- don't dare turn left! It needs better signs.

Really enjoyed our stay here at The Hilton Hotel, Cardiff.
Had a lovely room, very Spaceous, with a Queen Sized Bed, (very comfortable)
Nice Shower Room.
In a good location at the hotel.
With every thing you needed,
ie Television, Phone, Wi-Fi, Kettle,
tea/Coffee, towels, hair Dryer, safe, mini Fridge & Room Service.

In our stay it included use of the Swimming Pool, Sauna, Jacuzzi & a Gym.

Also included an unlimited Breakfast with just about every thing you could think of to eat.
And really nice food too.

The hotel was also very clean & tidy, and all the staff were great.

This hotel is also in a very good location at the heart of Cardiff City .

I highly recommend this hotel to all.

(Also I read on the sign there that all kids under 16 can stay for free and this includes free Breakfast ECT.... Also :-) )

Spa day, facilities were good although the corridors or the hotel are looking a bit tired, scratches to woodwork and carpets lifting in some areas. Could be better. Afternoon tea served in the lobby was excellent. Overall a good day out that lacked a bit of polish to make it excellent.

Good hotel with nice staff. The rooms are a little tired but very clean. The gym small but the equipment is good. The breakfast buffet is very good, as is the evening restaurant. If ordering room service ask to order off the restaurant menu as it is 100 times better than the one provided in the room.

Great Location, directly opposite the Castle, Free upgrade to Suite, with complimentary Executive Lounge Access, giving free snacks and drinks, plus free full cooked breakfast in Grey restaurant. Definitely recommend stay I here if you're visiting Cardiff.

Had to cut our evening short after having a meal in the city centre with family. Headed back to the hotel for a coffee in the bar to be told three family members could not enter the hotel as there was a 'resident only' entry policy that evening.
