A great place to visit. Good service. Afternoon tea is a must apparently.

Nice venue. Staff take good care of you. Great food.
Average Hilton, exec room was nothing special, lounge was OK
Great staff that makes you feel comfortable. Great recommendations also. Would love to come here again.
The executive rooms (junior executive suite) on the top two floors are of a much higher standard than the ones lower down. The executive lounge is too small (people had to stand) and evening choice toolimited. The breakfast however was excellent
Really nice staff, always friendly. I go there for the gym and sauna/pool. good bargain. changing rooms are always clean.
The Hilton was elegant and well presented, offering good quality accommodation with a mixture of on premise activities for both leisure and business customers.
A warm welcoming upon arrival, friendly staff and a clean decent sized room. Pool opens at 7am which is good to avoid the rush after breakfast.
Clean, comfortable and quiet with polite, professional and friendly staff.
BEST HOTEL IN CARDIFF!
We stayed in early January and I must say It was amazing... Everyone was so helpful and extremely friendly! Nothing was too much trouble, the lady on the front desk was very informative and kind. The young gentleman who checked us out and helped us with our bags and stored them for the day was extremely helpful and kind. And the gentleman vince I think his name was who cooked our breakfast was very friendly and makes lovely food! everyone was just so helpful and friendly.
The room was just perfect! We had a castle view and we kept the curtains open all day and night because it was so beautiful! Even when it was raining! Typical Wales! The mattress was so comfy! And the room was so clean! I couldn't fault anything! Perfect! Thank you so much everyone who made our stay perfect:)
It was the worst dining experience I've ever had. I had to send back my food 4 times as they could not seem to understand what gluten free meant. Despite my seating card stating I was GF as we had contacted them in advance. The staff were rude and rushed us. No one apologised for continuously getting my food wrong. Worst experience ever.
Absolutely brilliant vallet car parking extreamly helpful staff very polite and much attractions great pool and comfortable rooms food is fantastic very clean and modern. One of the best I've seen in a while.
Great Hotel, excellent service and fantastic city center location.
Stayed for a short break. Clean rooms. Excellent location. Breakfast good. Had a issue but was sorted very effectively by manager. Would recommend.
Great location :) ok service :) rubbish parking with no details :(
Was pretty disappointed with the hilton tbf! It's meant to be a luxury hotel but the Premier Inn has a better bed
Excellent stay staff very helpful and friendly definitely worth another visit
Always my favourite place to stay in Cardiff. Staff are superb, rooms are great and price is always surprisingly low.
I was on the 6th floor from what I could see the staff where friendly and very helpful the rooms are amazing well stocked and great facilities.
If something available less than 1 start, I wouldn't hesitate rate. Very bad hotel and not clear on what basis this hotel is rated as 5 star. Basic services are not available. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL.
Service was good. Room was clean. Breakfast was good. The building has cool lifts. Hotel is right across the street from Cardiff Castle.
A good place for visit. Beer and food was good but expensive but then it's Cardiff prices
Difficult to take into the bar becuase of awkward staff but when in there lovley.
The hotel is generally dirty, starting from the wind to the curtains in the room. Saunas and changing rooms by the pool - dirty everywhere. We ordered breakfast to stay, but 10 minutes later we gave up because we decided to eat in the city. When leaving, the service wanted to erase us for unused breakfasts. Because another person did not cancel them.
great location and superb service from the ladies doing the spa treatments ..however general service and customer service poor. Rather disorganised and dis interested staff on a day that I had been looking forward to for months.
Hotel is a great shape but with old walls and the rooms are normal Radisson Blu is better than all the respects in the same area
Only used leisure facilities, they were ok but need modernising.
I came to the Hilton Cardiff with my partner for drinks prior to the Wales England friendly on 17/8/2019. Having previously been here on match days I was disappointed. No rugby Guinness to be had and sadly the atmosphere was poor. Previously the drinks area was buzzing - but on this occasion it was flat. Come on Hilton Cardiff, it s a prestigious venue for those who don t want to mix with the masses but want to soak up a good rugby experience in a fantastic venue with the more mature rugby supporter. Let s hsve some Guinness
Lovely hotel and food was great to 2 minutes from shops and bars
Always happy with this hotel, everytime we have stayed. Rooms are large and spotlessly clean. The resturant is relaxed with high quality food. All staff are friendly and helpful.
Here for an ACCA event. Exceptional facilities, conference rooms, catering, and staff. Nearest car park was dumfries NCP car park . Overall still excellent.
Old and tired, overpriced and without charm. Location is excellent but it's years behind the modern standard of a luxury hotel. Disapointing.
Location - excellent
Internet - excellent
Staff - warm and friendly
House Keeping - dismal . Stayed for 3 nights. Carpets not vacuumed , tables not cleaned, coffee , tea and mild not replenished, cups and saucers left on table and not stored.
Everything was fine here, except for some mildew at the top of our shower, and the towels smelled less than fresh. The castle view was lovely to wake up to.
Super friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was excellent.
Great staff, good location. Valet parking worked a treat.
Slightly above average for the Hilton chain, I did however have an exec room. Gym is also better equipped than a normal hotel gym with dumbbells and benches and some machine weights.
Lovely in summer having the massive park right near by for a walk or a run.
Hotel parking is stupidly expensive however there is the public Castle Mews Carpark just a few mins away.
Loved the executive suite. Great location after a long days hard shopping.
Hotel is right on the Castle, large bed, nice bathroom even with tub, pool very loud and unfortunately no relaxation area
The room was big, which was nice. The shower ran hot and cold in bursts.
A great hotel. Very central to everything. Good food clean rooms friendly staff.
Central location with everything within walking distance well recommended
The Costa downstairs was bright and clean with many choices and welcoming staff.
Beautiful hotel with beautiful view of the Cardiff Castle. Had a great time at this hotel and will definitely be staying here again on future trips to Cardiff. The ambience was great and I even got to create a very beautiful content for my YouTube channel at this property.
First of all the staff made an inexcusable decision about my partner who happens to have a brain injury because of her condition she may give the impression that she has had too much to drink but not so the manager made a decision that she was drunk i can assure you that she was not as we were there from 2.30 till 4.00 pm and also i was given the wrong order which was then rectified, so my first experience of the hilton is not a good one!!!
Popped into the Costa attached to the Hilton. Great service, very tasty. Nicely decorated and very comfy chairs. Chairs well spaced so it isn't cramped. Would go back.
The fitness club is great, there's a pool. Gym is small but well equipped. Staff are helpful and friendly
Nice, very clean hotel as expected from Hilton. Staff excellent. Easy, beautiful Cardiff Castle view. Well appointed in almost every way. The restaurant "Grey" lacking. Waited 50 min for appetizers, meh. Wish we would have skipped that.
Fantastic breakfast ask for a room on the castle side
Visit in June for my mum's 70th birthday, excellent facilities and spa area. We had afternoon tea which was lovely , bit slow on the coffee and tea refills but good experience nonetheless. Breakfast buffet in morning was superb, excellent choice of food from cooked breakfast, pancakes and waffles, fresh cakes and pastries and fruit and cereal.
A great place to stay when visiting Cardiff. Great facilities, Gym, swimming pool and restaurant. The staff are friendly and helpful with nothing too much trouble. The only negative is there is no parking. The hotel will provide valet More
Great hotel in a great location... They just managed to loose my car key for half an hour though with just a weak apology..not really Hilton service
There was a mistake with our booking, which was eventually resolved (and we had a complimentary drink as an apology), but it took quite some time. I wasn't very impressed with the spa facilities - very limited and the pool was quite cold. The rooms were pleasant and the beds were comfortable. The array of breakfast foods on offer was really good.
The only thing that stopped me giving it 5 stars was the breakfast that we had brought to our room was cold. That was the only thing thing that let it down. I must say the service from all the staff was second to none. My wife has a terminal illness and it's been her wish was just to stay at the hilton hotel just once. I can honestly say that the staff made it a dream.
Very good hotel. Service was top notch. Clean room, great access to Cardiff centre
Just spent 2nights at Hilton Cardiff for 6 nations weekend we've stayed here on numerous occasions and have always had a excellent experience and this time was no different beautiful room very clean fantastic staff nothing ever to much trouble always friendly and well mannered looking forward to next visit. Scott Thomas.
Town centre, comfortable bed, good shower, fresh cooked breakfast.
