Only visited Greys restaurant for afternoon tea. Lovely too. Booking didnt go well though. We phoned several times, no answer, engaged, left a message when someone did answer as "only a manager could take the booking" and didn't get called back. Eventually called in. Had doubts when the booking was written on a scrap of paper. Turned up on the day and no sign of the booking. They were very good though and fitted us in. The food and service was great. So, once the booking is sorted and confirmed, all seems ok.

I can't say enough good things about the Hilton Cardiff. The hotel itself is in a great location, the rooms were comfortable and I received the excellent service that I expect from Hilton's worldwide. Given that I traveled from the US, it is nice to know that there is a brand I am used to and that honors my HHonors status.

I was a guest attending the evening party at the Carr wedding on Saturday 14/10/2017, I had a wonderful evening, although it was slightly tainted by an unfortunate fall I took coming into the reception area. My heel caught on a bump in the mat on entrance, and I took a very hard, unceremonious fall in the middle of the reception, a guest did rush to help me up, but as you can appreciate I felt extremely embarrassed at what had just happened, once realising what had just happened, a receptionist did ask if I was ok, I said I was fine and rapidly hobbled, red faced back to the party, my ankle quickly swelled up, an I have bruised my knee, (not as much as my ego however), I spent the rest of the evening without shoes, but did notice several times of going back and forth, that the rug often has creases due to cases/trollies being pulled over it. I find it quite concerning that such a hazard is remaining at the entrance of such a popular establishment, also a bit concerning is the fact there seems to be no kind of accident book?

really old. no water in the fridge. wifi working very bad. it is an hilton of the '90 which is not evolving.

Stayed 4 saturday and sunday...unfortunately forgot the fellas name who gave me a free upgrade and wifi.

Some of The best customer service iv had in years and the gaff was lovely.

The rooms are standard refurbished hilton rooms, with views over either car parks, or the historic Cardiff Castle.
Several colleagues here made my stay fantastic!
Maria in reservations who made the booking process infinitely simpler than dealing with the online chat team, personalising the experience even before I left the office.
Sara on the front desk, who was so very helpful and friendly, making the check-in process straight forward and ensuring that I was welcomed, and that my room was up to standard
Shaun, who is an exceptional member of the events and hospitality team, his enthusiasm, knowledge, skill and desire to please exemplifies the service industry.
The people make the place, and these people truly strive to succeed in making you feel welcomed and happy during your stay.
Clearly the management here is doing something right if they're retaining these people. Make sure they're all still here next time I stay!

Great location, fantastic venue overall but toilets could do with being located better. Having them down several flights of stairs whilst large of amounts of alcohol are involved seems poorly planned.

One the best hotels I've stayed in, lovely staff excellent service even putting in a special request to make an engagement was followed up and was never to much, everything was explained and everything was amazing room was stunning lift up to all floors lovely breakfast absolutely brilliant service lovely staff would seriously recommend booking this hotel and a very very special shutout to tiago with first class service from start of stay right till the finish and Emily for her helpful service and amazing idea to make engagement special but most of all all staff were great will be back again

I loved the views from the Hilton and also being co close to the city centre was extremely ideal. I did shopping and enjoyed the local market. A lovely clean and cosy hotel.

Good value, really clean hotel. Staff efficient and friendly. Great location in the city and next to lots of restaurants and the main shopping area a few minutes walk away.

Excellent workout room, coffee shop and restaurant with friendly staff.

The shower water is definitely not hot, and there is an anti-bathtub. If possible, find another place. It's been a long time without renovation and maintenance.

Very nice very clean hotel. 10 Min walk from Cardiff Central or 5 min walk from Queen Street station. Most of hotel overlooks Cardiff Castle.

Was shocked to be told by the doorman that my wife could not stand under the cover to get out of the rain, unless you had a room booked there. Stuff your room and stuff your hotel

Poor! Don't even go there! The bed was hard customer services were terrible and unhelpful. There are far better and cheaper hotels in Cardiff which deserve your money... stay away!

Not clean enough to be a 5 star resort. Mold in bathroom and carpets were not swept

The location of the hotel is very good and in the centre of Cardiff. The staff in the hotel and the adjoining Costa Coffee are all very friendly and very helpful. It was a very enjoyable experience.

I like the location. So close the shopping center. And breakfast was nice

Rooms were comfortable although we were kept up by the sound of the fridge it was making an odd noise through the night. Also the bar had run out of a few things and what we did have didn't taste the best.

It would be better if they allowed you to use the HDMI ports of the TV

Visited Greys for bottomless brunch. Good food and good service. Plenty of prosecco!

The hotel itself has amazing decor and good location with nice places for shop, leisure, foods and beverages all around. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean and well presented. The gym has a decent amount of equipment, well the dressing rooms were a bit tiny, but cosy. The Executive lounge had all the usual complimentary drinks and snacks, Christina the host was great company and was always on the go. Would definitely stay here again.

City Centre hotel located right in th3 centre if Cardiff

The room had a stained carpet a stained headboard a chunk out of the wall and a dented nightshade! Behind the glass lift was nothing but dust the main steps at the front hadn't been washed down after 0a function the night before the main revolving doors remained locked at 11.00am ! A function had been at the hotel the night before and the hotel remained unkempt and grubby such a disappointment from such a chain

Cost more than I thought in the end. I felt swanky and privileged so started to wipe my arse with money

Perfect central location, food here is delicious and cooked perfectly. Staff are professional and polite. Having an executive suite, my room wasnt worth it. Stains on the carpet and damage to the walls and paper. Shower base and surround a little dirty and room dated. Massive bed totally comfy, good to stay after a night out.

It's a soulless hotel that is conveniently placed for the centre of town. They had messed up my booking, told me that there were no free rooms, and kitted the bathroom out for just one person (one hand towel, one face cloth). Both my key cards failed after one use. So all in all not the seamless efficiency I've come to expect from the chain, but I'll probably go back next time.

Nice bar area to sit and have a drink. Freindly staff and nice decor

The Hotel was really nice with large rooms. We had very poor service in the restaurant though.

Lovely venue for overnight or a quick visit for food

Really nice place. Recently attended an NHS conference where a Welsh all boys aloud group performed. They were amazing. Beautiful voices. The hilton never failed to impress.

Excellent customer service, staff were excellent. Great location. Great facilities.
However the executive lounge the choice of Alcoholic drinks was limited to wine or Carlsberg bottled lager..

Perfect night sleep. Great service but the whole place needs a refurbishment as it looks quite old on the inside

Room is what you'd expect from a Hilton. The spa was actually part of the gym, which included a lap pool and dry and wet sauna. Make sure to rinse off in the locker rooms. Valet parking is mandatory. No Breakfast was included.

Visited the Schmoo in the City Spa. Ok for the price. Friendly salon
