Fab place in the city centre, shops cafes close by just a very short walk away.
Sightseeing tours from the castle are a must.

The place seemed nice but the buffet for our event was pretty terrible.

Was treated to afternoon tea after the spa which was really good but the selection was a little lower than I've had previously but the staff were great. A really good selection of tea as well.

Excellent location, clean and comfortable room with good facilities, friendly staff. Unfortunately the
room is facing a nightclub with load music past 1am in the morning so very little sleep!

Great hotel and amazing staff. The concierge are the vest ive come across and the food is good.

Went for Schmoo in the City, Virgin Spa Experience. Fantastic. Beautiful building and kind staff. Spa was amazing, would recommend to anyone visiting.

Great location and in walking distance to attractions and city centre. Couldn't get my head around the parking situation within this hotel. Signs could be more clear.

Service wasn't up to usual standard but understandable as it was a busy Saturday.

Never felt more welcomed when walking into a hotel. They did everything possible to make me return.

Rude staff! You get offer to try gym then get reffused entry!

Lovely hotel, great spread for breakfast but some of the hot foodstuffs were distinctly average

First night staying in this Hilton, couldn't reccomend it enough the staff were excellent and the rooms to a high standard. The food was also good having eaten in the in house restaurant I would happily reccomend again. Overall great location and at a high standard would stay again!

Amazing room. Upgraded to executive floor for being a gold member. Great breakfast and pool

No parking!! Drop off not monitored even if you pay for valet services. Full of people dropping off party goers and taxis

Costa coffee was very efficient with the amount of people

Good location, friendly helpful staff, pool was nice too. Room was a good size and comfortable bed. There were a few signs of wear, maybe needs a little Refresh!

Usually good service, but fallen down considerably recently.
Not the customer service you would expect from a large chain. Somewhat corner shop mentality to customer relations particularly if you book through an agency rather than direct.
Hoping they can get back to their old form soon!

Friendly and helpful staff. Loaned me a US to UK adaptor, which was a lifesaver. Room was clean and spacious. Room service was fast and the food was good. Early checkout with boxed breakfast and arranged ride to airport went very smoothly.

Amazing rooms and service.
Good central location.
If travelling with a car, a wait us required until valet retrieves car from private car park.
Executive lounge did not have great choice of drinks to be offered. Bottles of beer and nibbles only.

For the calibre of hotel the service was very poor, the drinks available was very poor, and the knowledge of what they serve is very poor

So much outside noise entered the room. I had a window which couldn't be locked shut.

Good accommodation - beds could be better. Friendly staff, good spa facilities and fabulous breakfast. Location good for exploring Cardiff

Great venue. Spa day was amazing. Afternoon tea is also excellent.

Mediocre services, old and dirty room, full of dust, at breakfast the same food every day, very old and untidy pool

Brilliant hotel. Great food and staff. Loved it. Rosie was brilliant with all her help and Costa in the restaurant was brilliant too

Would be nicer if had on site parking.. becomes very difficult for first timer to understand where to stop if the drive in front of hotel is packed due to cars waiting to be taken away for parking by hotel chauffeurs. Happened to me more than once.

Loved the mirrors someone said they were done by imperial glass and glazing Liverpool

Very nice hotel and I was lucky enough to get a room facing the Castle. So great location. Next to the castle, shopping, museums and river ride to Cardiff bay. Nice staff. I found the bar staff went above and beyond. Also good prices for a Hilton, obviously base$ on occupancy

Nice big rooms, reception manager was very welcoming!

Wonderful place, excellent staff, delicious breakfast. Sightly more costly than other hotels, but it is worth the expense. I will go back there.

List of items add up to a unsatisfying stay
Food: must go off campus! Breakfast was a long shelf life affair up to a Motel 6 standard, pricey dinner with diner style ambiance.
Room: dirty and cramped, nuff said
Corporate: failure to credit day early departure credit despite 2 explicit assurances by staff
Access: don t even think of driving here, and parking is 1/2 mile away . Meter maids balancing city budget are busy so beware

Lots of better options in area.

I want to thank the staff for outstanding service they gave us when they stored our luggages free of charge even though we were not staying in.
This shows the respect to even just possible customer and the outstanding overall approach.

Will never stay at this hotel again. We stayed in room 606 & 607 and as a Gold member have some benfits which are nice, after reurning to the Hotel at 11pm after 2 1/2 hours in the show just up the road we went to have an nice hour in the bar to finish off a night we had with another couple as he was reiring from my company. TOM the night manager was in the Bar and instructed the Bar staff not to serve us. Now we are all over 60 and were in no way drunk or even close to it, we were not rude or silly in anyway. Tom took it upon himself to stop us hyaving a drink even though we had only just arrived back and were staying in the Hotel. We had to embarrassingly walk back out and find a bar across the street. This is unacceptable. I will never ever come to this hotel again. In fact i have a reservation fof next weekend in Venice, I will start looking for an alternative imediately.

Reception quick but hard to understand her accent. Room lovely, clean, large. Air con very noisy in the room. Unfortunately we were on the side of the hotel next to the bars so didn't really get to sleep until about 4am due to the loud music and shouting drunks. Because of this we won't be staying again. A lot of money for no sleep, even tho the breakfast was top-notch.

Very nice spa! Warm pool with jacuzzi, steam room and sauna! Quite expensive so maybe not worth a membership but makes for a lovely day out!

Had a free spa day here, lovely facilities and staff

Bathroom smelled like raw sewage from point of check in. One of two elevators was broken leading to long wait times. Door latches can accidentally be engaged, locking you out of your room. Service and attentiveness of staff nothing to write home about.Average hotel with multiple irritations means I will try to avoid in future.

Generally nice,, but no free wifi!? Are you kidding me? The cheapest hostels have free wifi.

Good location for the city centre and the castle. The room was nice and included a fridge, an iron and ironing board and a trouser press. Bathroom was spacious, with a tub and separate shower. It was surprisingly quiet given the location so the soundproofing must have been good. The pool, Jacuzzi and sauna were decent but the steam room was tepid and steamless. And there wasn't a sign or other indication that it was malfunctioning. For the price we paid I expected a fresher breakfast. The scrambled eggs were congealed and the beans were thick from sitting under the heat light for too long. On the plus side, the selection of smoothies was nice.

Lovely 4 course meal for our staff Christmas party.

Centrally located, good for families, but at a hilton price. The restaurant had a good selection for kids, the room was good, the bathroom fancy, the pool simple but fine. Not sure I would go back, mostly for the price but apart from that no complaints.

A beautiful hotel right in the center you can park your car in front of the hotel then the people of the hotel put it in front and away in a 24 hour guarded parking place my room had 2 queen beds this was a good size for 4 people the breakfast word delivered to an attached restaurant owned by the hotel's own I would recommend the english breakfest for breakfast there is a sports facility on the 2nd floor where you can work out well at no extra cost

We just had a coffee @ the Costa's in Cardiff Hilton, which is always a quiet place to have a coffee in a busy Cardiff on a Saturday.

3rd day of stay....asked front desk again to fix toilet. I still have to flush about 10 times before it works. Nobody had even contacted me to see if it s working for me. I give up!
