Great location with views of the castle and nice staff.

DON'T BOTHER used valet parking and got a ticket for driving in bus lane

Consistently good hotel near to town and the castle

Great hotel, good breakfast and friendly staff. The room was comfortable and spacious. My only criticism is that they always have one broken lift, so the wait to get up to your room can at times be 5 minutes plus. Other than that it was great.

Came for the bottomless brunch for a hen do. Staff were very friendly, especially the female server working sat afternoon 30/3/19 who wore a Fitbit and I think had blonde hair? She was so friendly! The food was good, but small portions. It was clean and tidy. Attentive staff and nice atmosphere.

Fantastic rooms with huge bathrooms. Excellent leisure facilities. Amazing choice at breakfast.

We came here for the prosecco brunch. Lovely welsh breakfast, sticky toffee pudding and prosecco! HAPPY DAYS!! Service was excellent.

Very poor vegetarian meal today at ladies luncheon club. Goats cheese and spinach cannelloni which was burnt and dried out. It was inedible. 1 star rating is over generous I feel

Fantastic location for the city centre and the historical culture, wonderful parks and even a river cruise to Cardiff Bay. Hotel has the facilities to suit all guests.

Lovely room and staff. Only issue is that its not easy for all to get to the parking. And we were not informed it's valet parking

Warm welcome. Place looks clean and room was spotless. Breakfast had a lot of selection, however some of the food was a little dried out. Spa was included and was an enjoyable experience. Small issue on checkout where we were charged for wifi without being advised of any charge but was refunded. Overall a good stay.

The friendliest, warmest most helpful staff I have met. Everybody was thoughtful and kind, with a special mention to staff at the reception desk and the breakfast team who were truly lovely and caring. The room itself was comfortable and quiet. No faults to find! Thank you for a lovely stay.

Upgraded to an executive room, which was nicely appointed with really comfortable bed. Bathroom was a bit dated, and shower pressure not great but everything was very clean. There is a lot of noise from the clubs nearby, even up on the 7th floor. You need a castle view room to avoid this (unless of course, you are out in the clubs, and then you won't care so much).

Really enjoyable stay with good standards as expected of a Hilton. All the staff are super friendly and approachable and the location is central for shopping and all that Cardiff has to offer. I would definitely stay again and will be my go More

I ended up in this hotel by default, as the local big brand hotel disappointed me heavily. My stay here was a lot more cosy, more spacious, and even the lobby area was much better to look at and relax in too. It definitely lifted my mood since I got there. I wished I booked my stay here in the first place!

My daughter paid for me to have bottomless brunch in Greys Restaurant. We arrived 5mins before the time booked and we're attended to near enough straightaway. We were sat at a table within 5 mins of our booking and given menus. The waitress was very attentive and the food was lovely. A very good experience that I would recommend and will definitely be returning.

One top hotel everytime I walk passed always bisy would love a night here :( maybe one day

Lovely rooms, nice big bathroom with walk in shower and a separate bath.

I have stayed in most spa hotels in Cardiff & South Wales, this was my first stay at the Hilton. Absolutely blown away, the staff are incredible, delightful, so welcoming, it was unbelievable! From the amazing Terence & Nino at the front desk to Rob & Joel at the bar, who made my stay extra special. The beautiful room overlooking Cardiff castle, spotlessly clean & so comfortable & so quiet. The spa, lovely, relaxing & intimate! The food was out of this world & very reasonable! Gorgeous cocktails! I cannot wait to go back! Very very impressed!

Too expensive and there are simply other top quality hotels around.

A keeper. Super nice people and fantastic location. Executive lounge looks over Cardiff Castle. I used it as home base for a Stones concert so the review is probably biased.

Super vegan friendly, the restaurant wasn't mind (the Grey). Amazing staff. Rooms are a little dated, but clean and comfortable. (Visited August 2017)

Good location directly across the street from Cardiff Castle. Not a new hotel, but the staff is very helpful.

Attended our work Christmas party here. Food was very good, considering the mass production involved for such an event. A number of bottles of wine had been pre-ordered for all. The serving staff continued to bring around bottles of wine to top up glasses, but it wasn't made clear that the pre-ordered wine had been finished and that we were therefore expected to pay for additional drinks. We should have been made aware of this before being offered top ups!

By far the best place I'vr ever trayed in my life. Amazing clean rooms, everything I need to be comfy. Great view. So clean and feels so fresh! I cant wait to come here again!!

Went into the Costa attached to this Hilton. No more expensive than any other Costa. Clean. Toilets quite a trek away tho and lots of signs + cctv saying is for Hilton users only. Seemed unnecessarily rude as Costa has to supply loos.

Went for a little spa day, a little to much clorine for my liking. The drinks a expensive at the bar

Nice hotel in the middle of Cardiff, air conditioning a bit cold though even on a high temp! Gluten free breakfast! Really friendly staff. Swimming pool, health club & a Costa coffee. Would recommend!

Very nice hotel. Would definitly recommend. The beds are very nice and give a lovely nights sleep the hotel is well kept. Lifts are made out of glass so if you have a fear of heights or lifts you may want to take the stairs.

Last night me and my wife decide to spend a night out in Cardiff and decide to go to Hilton.

We arrived at Metropolitan lounge and we wanted a quick drink before we check in, my wife asked for a glass of wine and I asked for a bottle of peroni.



When I have challenge that all he can said was ' I do apologise we changed the menu and that is our new menu but in all the bar tables not a single new menu.



I want somebody to look into that asap.

My wife booked this hotel for a suprise break away for my birthday and all I can say is that it is a very welcoming hotel with a very personal feel to it in that the porters and consierg made us feel that we were the only guests staying here,I know that it is there job to do this but we have been to the belfry and Celtic manor and many more 5 star hotel's where we were simply made to feel like guests full stop and no personally behind their actions so again thank you for a great welcome and stay

I was only at the Costa at the Hilton. The service was friendly and the location was clean, if rather dark and dreary. The coffee was bad; it was lukewarm and weak.

My daughter and I had a amazing massage/ scrub today.Ellie was amazing, felt so relaxed and comfortable.Ellie is a credit to your team!

Lovely restaurant and the service and staff could not have been nicer. They made a wee mistake with the starter for my son due to misleading him. He ate it and enjoyed it but despite us saying not to they still insisted in taking it off the bill. I would definitely return as the food was great.

The Costa Coffee inside the Hilton was very nice and we enjoyed lunch there.

Costa Coffee at the Hilton - their coffee machine was broken, so the drinks took a long while to get. Still, good coffee.

Didn't really stay there, but had to go to reception to find the toilet and they were all very kind and responsive.

Disappointed could not believe how messy the tables in the bar and their was even sticky sweets on one table so yuch...we asked for an ameratto di saranio apparently this is only used in cocktails with an unknown brand to purchase...how strange...having stayed in Hiltonhotels in various locations previously I would think twice before having even a drink in there again..it takes no time to clear tables

As a place to hold an evenings entertainment/formal meal it ain't that good. The food is so-so, the drinks are expensive & the want you to be silent after about 11:30-12 pm.
Not got a clue what the rooms are like but probably wouldn't stay there as it all seems overpriced.
