This is a super cool place to visit. They have a ride in the factory that showed you how the chocolates are made. It's kind of a creepy ride, but still really cool. They have all the kinds of Hershey chocolates there and they all look delicious. They have ice creams and shakes that you can get and they are to die for. I recommend getting the Smore flavored milk shake. Also buy the big Hershey bar and the 2 pound Reese's Cups. It's worth it...

Pro:

Pro:
It s all bout the chocolate
You ll get plenty of samples there
Free for the basic show & tells , and the small world like ride

Con:
Crazy crowds
Would rather eat outside than in their food court

Cool place, loved the ride giving the history of the place but was very disappointed by the fact that the product prices were so high. I thought the prices would be way lower than the grocery store prices of the same items. Came all the way from Michigan too!

Hershey's Chocolate World is a great stop, but gets crowded very very easily and is primarily a outlet store for their products. I'm a very big fan, but only during non-crowded times. If you have to wait in any lines to do any of the things ("tour" included), its hardly worth it. You're better off finding a nice place for lunch and heading back when there's no lines.

We had a fun experience at Hershey Chocolate World with friends. I hadn t been there since I was quite young and could barely remember it. Making your own chocolate bar was the best part. Our friends from Thailand enjoyed it a lot! We re so happy that there are local experiences like this for people to go to.

Chocolate world is a great place! It has great food with an awesome store. Its located right outside of the actual park, which is really convenient. There mac and cheese is boss! There are no milkshakes to compare theirs to! The hersheys chiclate world ride is still fun and the update they gave it last year just makes it even better! My family and I will definatly be coming back!

Great place to spend a few hours. The trolly ride was very informative, the free ride was fun, the 4D movie was interactive and the making of the candy bar was quite interesting. They give away more chocolate than u can eat!

I have 1 complaint that just caused me so much disappointment and anger..the make your own candy bar went down July 14. Me and my grand daughter were there the 16th. We were never notified ahead of time about this and found out when we arrived. That's the one main reason we came. This place needs to communicate better to those who planned ahead and paid on line to tell us before. Yes we were refunded. I went back later seeing people on the make your own candy bar tour to be told we could take the tour for the same price but not able to make the bar?? That's a rip off and we Did not waste our time or money.

Milton Hershey was a great person. Wonderful vision. And used his business as a vehicle to better society.
As for the park: wait in line to pay and park. Wait in line at security. Wait in entrance line. Hungry? Just waited an HOUR to buy a $9 hotdog. Been here 2 hours and haven't hit a ride yet. Need more workers!!!!

This here is 'Merica!!! Don't even think of going to Hershey without stopping here! It is a mind blowing assemblence of chocolate decadence. Just go to see the package of freaking 2 half pound Reese's Peanut Butter cups...And buy them. You know you want them. Also checkout the 2 lb Kit Kat! Lots of fun Hershey's gift items and nostalgia to bring home with you!

This place rights claims itself as Sweetest place on the earth. The free chocolate world tour with the dancing and singing cows draws huge crowds in the weekends. If possible, visit during weekdays to maximize the experience.
The onsite Cafe has milkshakes and other hershey based drinks.
There is a Small bakery also which has pretty good chocolate stuff.

They've changed it a lot in he last 10 years. Now you can't even see where they make the chocolate. Disappointing. And if you want to do anything it's $15 per "event" per person. Cost us $150 for an hour and a half. Oh and another $15 to park. I doubt Milton Hershey would be impressed with what it's turned into.

Chocolate need i say more? but lines too long, you need to go with tall kids mine couldn't ride anything too many height restrictions for too short and too tall. Waste of money. I liked the factory but I couldn't tour because I had a stroller and a sleeping baby in it. Gift shop nice super speedy check out but $$$$$$$$

Only problem ordered & paid for tickets online for 5 people. The ticket girl argued they weren't valid no confirmation # listed. I said I can't email reservation from Hershey. She said there are many scams going. I even shared my phone for the email again no confirmation # listed. We wasted over 40 minutes to get tickets. Another employee had to help, she was searching wrong, talking scam even with receipt of credit card payment. Their employee originally made mistake then their employee didn't know her job. Hershey World itself was fun. They took the picture parts away which was sad, it makes a fun souvenir to get those. The old Hershey kiss boxes with pictures was great for kids, sad to see it go. With digital there isn't much cost that should be brought back. Makes great memories for families. Fun day, many events. So many choices of chocolate to buy. Reccomend this trip but hopefully get better employees.

Not what I expected. Went with a friend and wanted to see how the chocolate was made. Problem is, you have to pay for the tour and you're not really even in the actual factory. Prices for sweets were the same inside as they were outside the visitor center, thought I would have at least found chocolate at discount. Last I was disappointed that I didn't find any original chocolate recipes. Everything was modern and exactly what you'd find at the convenience store. Not worth the stop unless you plan to pay a lot for the so-so experience.

I was soooo pleasantly surprised by this place. It is a HUGE chocolate store basically, with lots of entertainment (make your own chocolate bar, trolley rides, 4d movie) and more! The variety of chocolate and Hershey swag is endless! I fell in love with every aspect of this place. Truly a dream, especially for the kids lol

Very, very, VERY crowded, but if you're okay with all of the people it's a really awesome place to go. The ride they have there for free is really fun to go on and is worth the wait. Things are relatively high priced, but it's what you'd expect for an amusement park/branded items like Hershey.

Always a fun time here. Some attractions can be pricey but the experience is once in a lifetime. I love creating my own candy bar but do wish they had more flavor options. The shakes are delicious.

A great place for the kids. A mix of free things to do and nice paid options. If you like chocolate twizzlers you will not find then fresher any where in the world. I little pricy for lunch. I recommend n bringing your own lunches. Also they serve Pepsi products, which are my preferred drinks. Don't miss going to the zoo as well.

Not a fan of this place, way over priced, it's to much like a theme park. And the only real thing to do Is make a 25 dollar candybar, we'll watch it be made you don't really do anything besides push buttons.

Booked two attractions. We specifically went out of our way on the way back from vacation. As we arrived at Chocolate World we were informed that the Build Your Own Candy Bar attraction that we booked was non-operational that day. I was asked, You didn t receive the Email? I understand that things happen, however they should at least try to let people know that the attraction they booked is not going to be available.I would ve canceled the tickets instead of going out of our way for a big letdown. We had some pretty disappointed kids and disappointed parent s, too. I would suggest calling ahead of time to insure the excursions that you are including in your visit are operational that day.
