Very nice place for entry there is no fees. You can make a queue and go and watch how they make chocolate that is a free tour. Excellent tour five people can sit in one car and takes you to the tour free. You can purchase ticket to watch 4d movie and make your own chocolates. We did not made our own chocolates. There is ride , zoo out side the welcome center however it is very costly $70 ticket per person. We did not go for ride zoo etc because we had small kids and we already been to philidelphia zoo which is far better than here.

Hershey's free history and ride "experience". I've been here 20 or so times in my lifetime and I do not recomend this is the peak summer time not is it nearly as good as it used to be. The line moves decently fast but in the summer they have to close down the upstairs cafes to snake in another 100-150 people. You may be in line for 40-60 mins. You are also now heavily encouraged/forced to get photos in the photo booth built into the line. If your kids can make it through the line they'll love it.

Best thing about the store, chocolate are super cheap and some of them are rare like available only at this place. So if you even 1 % interested in buying the chocolates, please do buy it from there.
The create your own chocolate is one of the the things people will love it. Must try out one
Apart from that DONJOT WASTE YOUR MONEY IN CHOCOLATE TASTING. It s sheer waste of time and money
The 4d movie is okay. If you are with the kids you will enjoy it else no need of going to the movie.
As per common myth people do get free chocolates but not that much, may be 5-7 that s it.

It is in New Normal mode because of COVID-19 so masks are required and you will be thermo scanned but it's not all that bad. I prefer the safety. I actually witnessed someone being removed from the entry line who was higher than 101.4 degrees. Not for nothing but if you have a fever, stay home. Don't be selfish.

As for Hersheypark, very very clean. Because of the limited capacity we were able to go on every more than once before 7 pm and that's with food and bathroom breaks.

The souvenirs were priced well. I've been to my fair share of parks, I know my pricing. Hersheypark is better than the rest when it comes to cost. Water is $3.50 a bottle most places are $6 or higher. I know you can buy a case for that amount but this is the law of supply and demand. Just keep in mind if you are a family of four have about $400 for food, souvenirs and some extras. About a $100 per person. You may not use it all.

Zoo America was fast but it was fun. If you have little ones they would like to see the animals. The also get a kick out of feeding the birds but make sure you have quarters for the food dispenser. The Sea Lion show is just good entertainment and seeing the tricks is a treat.

Hersheypark is great family fun and definitely, "the sweetest place on earth!"

We enjoy visiting chocolate world for some great deals on all Hershey products. Slightly disappointed at the lack of variety for stuffed Hershey toys for our little one but luckily our hotel has some we can purchase. Please keep parking for the first 3 hours free! That's plenty of time to enjoy all the chocolate world attractions plus spend a lot on candy! Lol

This place is awesome. We took our son who was 16 months old at the time and he loved all of the chocolate characters all over. The cow ride is awesome, we rode it probably 5 times and he laughed and danced the whole way thru. The staff was very welcoming and made sure we had a good time and anything we needed. Will definitely visit again if in the area.

Pretty disappointed, I might have enjoyed it more if I hadn't gone to Turkey Hill Experience first (Amazing!). Chocolate world was an overpriced tourist trap by comparison. Tons of traffic, way too much hassle/money for what you get in return. Movie was cute, trolley was fun, missed Chocolate experience because of traffic. I was allowed to reschedule but next available was 6 hours away.

Build your own candybar was disappointing. Stand in line for 15 minutes, with a hairnet and apron pretending you're actually going to come in contact with food. Then digitally choose 1 of 3 choices of chocolate (white, milk or dark), 3 of 6 items to put in (toffee bits, chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, cookies bits, puffed rice or pretzels). This is all covered in milk chocolate and you can choose sprinkles on top of it. Wait in line 10 minutes. An employee scans your ticket and has you pull a lever. Now you've spent 5 minutes "making" your chocolate bar and spend 15 MORE minutes watching it get made. Design a digital label. Meh - fine for a souvenir but it wasn't very hand's on.

Won't go back. Kids agreed that Turkey Hill Experience was much better and worth returning to.

It's a fun place half day adventure if you've never been or are a tourist. It's often fairly crowded and has become a money trap over the years. The free ride and chocolate bar are still great to experience with the kids but be prepared to pay for everything else! My tip for thrifty tourists is to do the Chocolate Ride Tour and give your kids $10 to spend on candy. They'll love it and you'll come out way ahead vs each of the pricey activities. If you want to choose just one other activity I suggest the trolley ride to explore Hershey and the history of the town for kids over 10. Families with younger kids might consider the 3D show, but it's pricey and overall only a 20-30 minute experience.

As locals, we are here frequently with our kids and grandkids and any out of town guests. We hit the ride first and go twice for the freebies. Then a snack before shopping for a few things to take home.

Only downside was that someone kept making mistakes with his customers milkshakes. Very long wait for the rest of us as he kept having to dump and remake them. Aside from that, what could be bad about Hershey's and Reece's?

You can see that the people running Chocolate World get better each year. This year it was how the staff members in the bakery treated you they were just great this time it was a completely different experience a year ago

Extremely crowded immediately after opening. The "Chocolate Tour" is not what it used to be. Most of the simulated machinery has been replaced by video screens, and the separate video screen within the rider's car competes with the displays on either side, making the whole ride a distraction. Lines to buy tickets for shows and to make your own chocolate bar very long. If it wasn't for the kids, I would not come back here.

The windy roads up to the facility, the free tour and massive amounts of candy were my favorite parts of this stop. There are actually a few activities in here that can keep a grown up busy for an hour maybe two, but kids could spend a few hours running around just in the shop. I like how there are different sections and you can get huge bars/packages but I wish the prices were a lot lower considering they manufacture it there. The parking seems like it would be crazy if it were busy but thankfully there is a lot of spots and lots. I would stop in again if I'm back in the area but I came in late fall so the park was not open and it wasn't busy at all.
