I visited Hershey for a week and me and my girlfriend decided to go to Hersheys Chocolate World since she lives in PA and she said its so much fun. I never travel and Ive never been to PA but however Im a foodie and I love food. I decided me and her HAD to go. Visiting the factory was amazing, the ride was very informational, the singing cows were extremely funny and I love how family friendly the ride and facility was. The prices were fair considering im from Florida and everything here is so expensive. You need to try the smores if you and make sure you have some water with you, my sweet tooth was cured. Me and my girlfriend had the best time of our lives and I bought some goodies to go home with me to bring to my family.

Side Note. Im about to ship to Fort Jackson to serve the USA and spending my last week before I leave with my girlfriend here was so amazing! I bought the picture book after the ride and ill keep the pictures from the book with me while I go to basic to remember my girlfriend and our amazing time at Hersheys Chocolate World. Ill be back when I graduate.

Our visit to Chocolate World started off great. It was my daughter's birthday and we went to see the inside attractions at Chocolate World we went to the Chocolate tasting, The 4d and did the trolley. Create your own candy bar was closed. I HAD THE WORST FORM OF DISCRIMINATION WHEN WENT TO THE 4D MOVIE. THEY ASK MY DAUGHTER WHAT HER Age was several times, and if it was her birthday. She replied yes and gave her age several times. Then when we entered the movie they only acknowledged the white little girls birthday and named the whole entire hockey team. She was extremely upset and in tears. So Chocolate World was a nightmare.

I was expecting the tour to be a little more realistic. Afterwards we went to the 3D movie...4 adults, what a complete waste of money.... 30 bucks! It was not worth it,... save your money and go to M&M World in Vegas for free...it's better too!

A chocoholic's dream come true. We got very good help deciding what to see and do from the staff near the entrance. I suppose it would not have hurt to check out their website to see what to check out before we arrived. The 'haunted' trolley ride was a good time. Making the chocolate bar was a bit pricey, but pretty interesting given the process done right in front of you thanks to the sophisticated automation system. Plenty of chocolate and merchandise to buy. Where do you begin? A fun and family orientated place that is a bit pricey, but sweet. Don't forget to sign up for the Hershey 10k or Hershey Half Marathon to burn off the calories.

Great place to visit !!! Plenty to do!!! Loved shopping at their huge store and eating at one of there many food stations. I recommend purchasing the adventure bundle pack which allows you to do all the tours in the factory for one price. It gives you real insight on the life of Milton Hershey & how he started it all. Plus, the best part....FREE CHOCOLATE!!! Our favorite was creating your own chocolate bar, actually allowed us to see up close how the chocolate is made. Definitely recommend a visit here!!!!

Loved the free tour. The attendant that helped my sister onto the ride was awesome. I can't remember his name, but I believe it started with a "J". Its wonderful how you accommodate handicap patrons! Of course, the candy is always .

Just a giant, crowded temple to American consumerism and sugar. The 10 min tour is free but parking is $15 and a bottle of water is $3. It's a beautiful part of Pennsylvania, so plan a hike instead.

The hersey restaurant where the chocolate tasting is. Was absolutely horrible. We came for the rides at night to see Santa. Decided to get dinner before we left, and all the small spots that served food were closed. Yet the park was still open... not very happy. Will not come back. To expensive and no places to eat.

Absolutely loved it..we went to the Hershey choclate factory beside the park which is way too informative and fun..My kid and us loved it.we did choclate tasting, ride and made custom choclate bar..The process was so transparent that my kid is gonna remember how a bar is made each time she eat one..I would definitely go back again

While it was interesting to learn a little bit of Hershey history, I was rather disappointed. The website said there's a free tour of the factory to see how their chocolate was made. Here's the tour: You get in a kiddie-ride train thing and are slowly brought through a series of displays that kind of show how chocolate is made. While standing in line, your picture is taken. (The line was the best part, actually, because they had a lot of interesting fact-oids.)

After the 10-minute kiddie-ride, you are then presented with a little Hershey promotional booklet with your picture on the cover. You can have this booklet, complete with some sort of coupons in the back, for... $30!! It was a 6-page (maybe 8) 5x7 booklet with your glossy picture stuck in the front.

From there, you can head out to their store and restaurant where you can buy clothing and paraphernalia, and of course, all their chocolate offerings including the giant bars, at a premium price. But there's nothing unique about these bags of chocolate. They are the same that you can buy cheaper most anywhere else. (In fact, the Hershey store price for one of those 4-pack Reese's was about 10 cents less than what I noticed the Interstate Rest Area stores were charging.)

The clothing, while fun, was definitely full price: $24.95 for a Hershey t-shirt, for example.

I was hoping to maybe purchase one of those giant Hershey's bars for a fun gift. But not for $39.95.

Overall, I have to admit that it was a place I'm glad I saw. But the prices really disappointed me. Do not go there with kids unless you're willing to shell out some bucks.

You know what, it's cute. Didn't think we'd spend that much time there but it's well organized. The package pricing is good but beware of doing the tastings with smaller children ( younger than 5). Make your own candy bar is worth it. Did almost everything it had to offer except eat lunch but unless you get there early and time things out perfectly you probably need nearly 4 hours.

The trolley tour was completely awesome. The tour guide was very informative and knowledgeable. I won't be able to eat another Hersey product without remembering what kind and giving people the Hersey's were. Thank you for the great time touring your facilities.
