Where else can you get a tour of the process in the world of chocolate, and get a treat at the end all for free?! Always a fun time! Remodeling done this year to update the ride was a nice upgrade.
It is a massive chocolate store and gift shop with rides and experiences different than the park. The chocolate you purchase here is direct from the factory and very fresh. There is a giant selection of merchandise and of chocolate. It is definitely worth the stop and the time to shop. I was surprised that the prices for the chocolate were reasonable and the merchandise was as well. Lots of food options and Hershey chocolate based snacks.
Your speed bumps absolutely destroyed my 1980 Datsun 280zx. I scraped frame over every single bump. This is unacceptable. I won t be surprised if I come home to a cracked oil pan. Also it took me 20 min to get my damn milkshake.
I LOVE Hershey Park. My family and I go there every summer with my family. The rides are both thrilling and fun. We always have the best time when we go.
They've done a great job updating this place. There were a lot of activities, but we stuck to the chocolate world ride and exploring the store to save on time and money. Loved it!
The 4d movie is for really little kids, the male your own chocolate bar was really cool, the factory tour was fun, and the testing was ok but not great for our picky eaters.
I love chocolate, so therefore I love this place. All the acti ities were great. The price for the Creat your Own Chocolate Bar is definetely worth it. I also think that anyone who reads this should do the Historical Trolley. You learn so much about Milton Hershey and the local area, and you get some candy on the way hehe
Being one of the most famous chocolate brands in the world I would like to visit this place. I watched some documentary movies about the owner and creator who builted the hall city Hershey for all the employees to have everything in one place. Seems a bit utiopian but clearly worked back then.
What a fun place to make a stop while we were driving on interstate 81. The tour was free! That really surprised me. Fun to walk around the store and see all the Hershey's good and candy. Nice places to eat, too. Don't miss the bakery section.
Ni e for a shopping place for souviners and as expected it was a bit pricey but we bought stuff. Hey its Hershey Chovolate World, how can we not... LOL
Great place to take the family. We only did the free ride and walked around. They have lots of souvenirs and a huge selection of Hershey candy. Definitely a place to go and learn the history of the sweetest place on earth.
Just to walk around the free portion is fun for the nostalgia, but the tickets for the attractions can be a little pricey, so I suggest bundling because you get a better value for the price you pay to check out the attractions. You can get a cheaper Hershey bar at your local grocery store, but you pay more at the attraction because of the tourism factor.
My family had such a wonderful experience it was the first time my husband and younger son had been there we will definitely be going back again this year
All the chocolate you could want in one spot. Thete is a fun tour on how the Hershey company makes thete chocolate. Plus a free candy bar at the end. They also sell other souvenirs besides candy. Great location. Right next to Hershey Park.
This is the "strip mall" type building outside the theme park. There's a free ride that shows how they make chocolate and gives a little history. Mostly it's a retail space with upsell opportunities like chocolate lab and customize your candy bar activities. Tram to you car is right out front.
Have been here many times over the past 20 years. Still love this place and this time I got to share it with my daughter. She loved the free ride. The staff was kind and let us stay on for a second ride since it was busy. The food court prices are as expected at an amusement park. We didn't do any of the rides you need to pay for in chocolate world so I can't comment on them.
Great place! Off season works well for seniors. Trolley ride is a must. Hearing the story of Milton Hershey via trolley is what makes the whole place come alive! Otherwise, it's just a big candy store with rides.
Meh...A shrine to themselves. Paid $19.90 for the combo - 4d Chocolate movie and Hershey s Unwrapped .
Both might be cool for the 12 and under crowd but seriously kitschy.
Huge gift shop where they are selling....yes, all Hershey merchandise and all kinds of candy that you can just get at your local retail store but in novelty sizes and packaging.
It was on my way and thought I might at least check it out. I m told the park is actually pretty cool.
I ve been here so many times and it still amazes me. So many things to do for all ages. The shakes and sundaes all the way in the back are to die for. The chocolate tour (free of cost) is an awesome small ride with info about Hershey. Always fun to go on no matter how many times. And they give you a free chocolate at the end which tastes like nothing you ve ever tasted before. The 4D movie is fun for kids. Chocolates can be found all over for pretty cheap bulk wise. You can also make your own chocolate bar. Just an awesome experience that you can get no matter how old you are or how many times you go!
Woohoo.. I m just excited and amazed entered at 2:45pm.. and it was 3 hours parking free.. 3-5 hours was (15$) .. could cover 3 shows below for 33$ adult and 16/17$ child the 4D show (3:15- 3:45) the chocolate making candy (4:00- 4:45) the tasting chocolate unwrapped chocolate (5:00- 5:30)

We went on the Saturday before new year's and the place was absolutely mobbed. They told us that the free tour was going to be an hour and forty minute wait. We chose not to wait.
Welcome to the Chocolate World for all those who have a sweet spot for Hershey's. Tons of fun looking at all those flavors under one roof. Take time to check out the free train ride tour on how they make chocolates. Great ride for kids and they hand you a chocolate bar after the ride. Lots of merchandising available and the food court is located at the back for those who are looking for refreshments. This is just for starters.
We really enjoyed our time here we just passed through and bought plenty of things to take home with us back to Texas. It was definitely something we will remember and we plan on going back in the near future. We had no idea there was an amusement park out there, and unfortunately it was raining on the day we visited.
