You pay more because of where you are, but the selection is great. And always a fun place to go.

Refused to let my son go through without taking that picture first. Even stated that he is autistic and pictures are one of his triggers. Talked with the manager of the book creators that use the picture and only got attitude. They started it's used to count people but that's a lie. The photo on the ride does.
Awesome, beyond awesome. The staff are world class ambassadors of the United States.
Today was a very busy crowd, hard to find what I was looking for.
Lots of fun for the whole family. A must visit if passing through Hershey. Lots of parking (some covered). Handy drop off point for handicap access.
GREAT... this is a wonderful family place or even a date. Try it.
A great experience for the whole family and a great option for the budget conscious. Although you can pay for various things like a 4d show or custom chocolate bar, we tend to stick to the free "factory" tour. They also have a candy and gift store with prices on par with amusement park stores. There is also a large eating area with many food options from a deli to pizza to desserts.
Fun free tour, great selection of gifts and, of course CANDY.
Hershey world was great. We loved the factory tour but the trolley tour was the best. The actors were really great.
Very family friendly and good for all ages. Lots of food options and a great park.
If you are a chocoholic, then this is the place for you. They have a nice ride in which they show you how chocolate is made. There are a couple of craft areas for the younger kids and a 4D movie. Then of course there is the chocolate shop where you can find all versions of Hershey products in all sizes from mini to ginormous size. In the back is the food court with so many options to choose from. My favorite was potato soup in a bread bowl.
Fun place to try, service and staff is ok could be better but recommend trying it
Always a fun stop and it's free! There main attraction, the chocolate production ride, is constantly being updated every few years. I do msis the old version but it's neat to see the changes. A definitely recommended experience for anyone even in the area. If you only go for this attraction, tell the parking attendant you're going and you'll get free parking, if I'm not mistaken.
The ride aside, there are other great things to do. There's a huge gift shop will tons of Hershey's products. HOWEVER, very little if any, of it is made there as the bags even say they're made in Mexico. How disappointing. But there are other great novelties like the enormous Kit Kat, Hershey, and Reese's candies/bars, among other things. The prices for standard items ARE A RIP OFF. Don't buy something like Reese's drops or a bag of Hershey's Miniatures. You can get that at any other store for a much better price.
It's overall a good place to wander around. The tours which aren't free, are good, although it's been a while since I've gone.
Love visiting Chocolate world when we go by Hershey. It's just a fun experience.
Fun for the whole family. Free admission. Great time!
The staff is always great. The prices are less than desirable and bizarrely enough, my biggest issue this trip was that the souvenir penny smusher now costs 1$ and does not accept coins.
Otherwise, it is not worth going during peak hours, to pay 25-30+$ for an attraction and standing in a long line with crowds of clueless people bouncing off you.
Always great to visit the best chocolate factory and store around. Great place, clean, masks still required, good prices in their store. A must go to fof everyone!
A most visit place with family and educational activities is fun and if you like chocolate this is the place everything is fresh.
Find place to spend a day with family. If you go in winter the tickets are really cheap as they close the water rides.
Honestly not worth the time. Yes, if you want to say you ve been there, then by all means go. It s a complete madhouse and poorly laid out. Their chocolate options were very similar to what any candy store that sells Hershey products would offer. Save yourself the stress of a huge crowd where no one watches where their walking.
This place is too much fun. I live taking my kids here. We always have a good time. The ride is a blast, we always get some dessert, then often do the ride again.
The extra stuff, like the movie, etc., We rarely do. It's just ok, not that great.
I don't really like some of the newest additions to the line queue either. I don't feel the need to have my picture taken.
This is usually our last stop of the day when we go to Hershey. It's a good place to wind down before beginning the journey back home. Surprisingly, the prices for food are pretty reasonable. You're not going to get anything extravagant food-wise, but it's not bad for what it is. My biggest complaint is that the places that serve food are ridiculously understaffed. The lines are frequently long and move slower than an old person in a grocery store, mostly because they have just one person manning the whole operation. Still, a trip to Hersheypark is never complete without swinging by Chocolate World.
Great place for the family, learned a lot about chocolate and how it's made. Definitely worth the trip, kids loved it, too!
One of my most favorite candy stores! Image if there was a place where you could buy anything Hersey made in one gigantic store, well this is it!! Every plus one or two new items that are rarely seen. They have every size from the bite size to the huge multiple pound sizes. They have a food court too if you're hungry not to mention a gift shop. Oh and before I forget don't forget to take the tour ride for your free piece of candy.
It's the happiest place in America! The chocolate tour is really good. The chocolate milkshakes and brownies are a must try!
Now I will defenetly buy my grandkids Hershey's chocolates
Tour is fun filled. Dont forget the free treat after the tour.
Cool place to say u have been to. Not sure id go back. Prices are high on a lot of stuff. But the kids enjoyed it
Under 3 hours parking was free, tour was free, a little busy but not as busy as I expected fir Easter Sunday
Fun place! Great place for the kids. We were able to spend a whole day their. Wish the packages were a little cheaper and the items in the gift shop. But definately worth it for going there on vacation. The making our own candy bar was a big hit
Our family had a great time here and we all enjoyed the "Make Your Chocolate Bar" lab was fun. Helpful Tip: The First Name you enter at the beginning will print on the candy bar wrapper. Keep it clean and fun. The tasting is similar to a wine tasting experience with group voting and the 4D movie keeps the attention of all ages. We liked that the prices for candy and other memorabilia were not over priced, however can be purchased almost anywhere during the right season.
Absolutely amazing place to go. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My two year old enjoyed himself. We will be returning!!
We had the opportunity to visit here and take the tour. A number of things were closed and there was very little visitors here but we took a look around and really enjoyed learning about Mr. Hershey and how chocolate is made.
Sweet delicious chocolate! Has many varieties! Well maintained during the pandemic! Before you decide to go, Book a timeslot for the free chocolate making tour!
If you love chocolate or candy then make a stop here.
This is the primary gift shop for Hersheypark. They have everything here - including speciality chocolates that I don't think you can get at other locations. There is a good mix of high quality souvenirs and other qualities.
There are several things to do and it's easy to spend 6 hours there if you participate in everything. The activities are fun but weren't fully what I expected. My favorite was actually the chocolate tasting as you try 4 different types and learn how to fully experience them. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They keep lines moving smoothly and quickly. Be prepared to bring lots of money as most chocolate is priced well under store costs, so you just want to buy so much! At the current time, you can get 2 boxes of 36 bars each for 36$!. So that's only 50 cents a bar. Awesome deal and more like it available. This place is a chocolate lovers haven.
Great place to buy fresh Hershey chocolate. Nice to visit but use to love it more, with the old ride with the singing cows and not computer animation. Still a fun place for smaller children.
Fun place to go, but even better for if you bring kids. They will love it.
Delicious experience. Making our own Candy bar is fun but expensive. The tour was so fun. So much to see and buy. Great time for the whole family.
Had an 1 yr old, 11 yr old, moms and a grandma in wheelchair...we all had so much fun and enjoyed the free tour, the trolley tour (just 3 of us, due to not handicap accessible) and the staff and environment. The whole town is amazing and a treat to see!
I had recently bought a whole bunch of candy for Halloween by this company, and I opened 3 candy bars. I found Human and Animal hair embedded into the 3 candy bars that I opened. I am very upset about this, and something needs to be done.
I love hershey park its really fun they get new rides all the time and i love it
Very fun activities and the gift shop is very large with a wide variety
As a kid, I always wanted to go to Hershey when my family went to Pennsylvania to visit relatives. It took me 36 years to finally get there, but I was not disappointed. If you love chocolate, Hershey's Chocolate World is the place for you. The museum factory tour is free and adorable. It's great for kids. The store offers all things Hershey, including chocolates and merchandise that can only be found in Hershey's Chocolate World. You can also take a class to design your own chocolate bar, visit the Hershey gardens, or get some thrills at the amusement park. There's something for everyone, so don't wait. Now's a great time to visit.
Came here on my birthday in 2018 from Baton Rouge and spent almost $300 on chocolate but it was worth it!
If you like candy, the outlet store is pure Heaven!
What else can I say, except... CHOCOLATE HEAVEN!! You can find confections here, that you'll not find anywhere else. I only wish they'd bring back the "Chocolate lovers club" I think it was called. Gave a nice discount. Don't forget to go through the ride that shows how HERSHEY'S makes chocolate.
We had a blast! They did fun stuff like had a parade with a band and characters in costumes walking through the store. The tour is fun and free. And there are so many unique sweets to choose from.
The free tour was kind of fun, but I didn't do any of their paid experiences. The tour felt a little bit like propaganda, but there were singing cows and they did give you a mini chocolate bar at the end.
The granddaughters loved the park. A variety of rides for all ages. There is lot to see and there are many concessions. But the park is hilly and attractions and sections are not well-marked. A park map is essential
Free ride is informative and cool everything is overpriced though
We Love Hershey! But I do wish they were a little better organized and could load/unload their rides quicker. Would be a fantastic place with just a little more staff during peak season!
Great memories old and new here. Staff is always friendly and it really is a candy wonderland!
It a cool place the tourists and the over sugared uncontrolled kids are disgusting
It good something to end a trip at Hershey park and they have great selection of candy and chocolate to choose from and 4d movie must watch
13 roller coasters and still couldn't get through all the rides. Loved it, and the town of Hershey is so adorable! I would even consider moving here if I could only work at Hershey
This place is magical experience watching a 4D movie, making your own chocolate bar with rapper,on the trolley singing and going back in time around Hershey and going to look at Henry Hershey's house, also don't eat chocolate but tastings other chocolates and how they were made.Go out to eat at the food court(very delicious meals).Souvenirs and new chocolate you can buy. It's worth driving to,I'm Eden Trevino and i live in San Antonio,Texas and stopped down to Maryland and drove to Pennsylvania to see Hershey Chocolate World.
THINGS YOU MIGHT WANT TO BRING IN CHOCOLATE WORLD: a bag or something to carrie stuff in(back pack or a reusable bag) reusable bottles of water and for your bag has to be insulated bag to keep your chocolate cold and put some ice cubes in a sealed bag and put it on the bottom in case you don't eat your chocolate right away.
Other then that go have fun and keep lots of memories!
Sweet. Touristy. Pricey. Trolley tour is fascinating in that you get a lot of history about the man, the factory, the town and the endowed school that Hersey created.
Not really worth the money they charge for it. Taste testing was a joke, it might as well have been a play and making your own candy bar is not what you think it will be.
My wife and I liked that the prizes at most of the games are really nice size and not that hard to win.
Amazing place. First out of state experience and I didn't regret it. The staff was PHENOMENAL. If you had a question they didn't hesitate to help and made sure you didn't feel like a burden. I have never felt so welcome and had so much fun in a single place. Very judge free environment. I did the tour with all the attractions and you get so much free stuff out of it for the cheap price. Mainly candy of course. My favorite part was the trolley. The story of Milton Hershey is an awesome story to know. You will be glad you ever bought a Hershey product! ($55 at the door and $38 online/person!!) This place is just astonishing. A must visit!
Been coming here since I was a little kid. The free tour ride is a really good thing that I hope they never start charging as I think it's a good way to bring in people. They have changed the ride so many times over the years. It's nothing like it was back in the 90s except maybe some of the old video footage from the original factory. Other than that, it's becoming much more digitized and less prop-y. The hershey jingle at the end is not as catchy as the old song. I think it would be a good idea to at least put the old jingle back.
Glad I live this close daughter wants to go Every weekend lol..Dad life!!!
Awesome family spot to visit and get a quick tour of the world of Hershey, from before to after wrapper.
This place has changed quite a lot over the years. Every time I come here there is something new to see. It's free to visit chocolate world and you get free chocolate when you get off the ride.
Great selection of goods to buy, wonderful food court, Good Tour, clean large bathrooms
One of my favourite spots! The place is a chocolate fan s heaven! The little chocolate factory is fun. Tried the thick shakes and chocolates. Loved everything here.
