Love this place. Chocolate tour was awesome. We can prepare our own chocolate. Overall place was very nice. We can spend a whole day, if we book for different events.
Hershey's chocolate factory.. what do i say about it.. the most amazing part of my United States trip.. the most sweetest place in the world with hugs and kisses .. the place which is liked by older , young and kids.. full of excitement.. it was a rainy day of May .. the day started with the chocolate making.. we make customised chocolate with our choice of toppings n ingredients.. the wrapper has our name n date mentioned.. it was amazing.. then it was 7 d movie time.. it was full of fun with with sweet 7 d effects.. then it was choclate tasting time.. the one i was waiting for.. lots of chocolates tasting with their aromas n noise of crunchiness.. the last one was trolley tour.. one hour trolley tour in which a guide was showing the full Hershey's town.. with sweet chocolate s , kisses and hugs..
I would suggest go for bundle 1 or adventure 1 ticket which includes all activities in discount ed price n with that we got free 8 hours parking ticket too.. food is not allowed inside.. but they have restaurant inside.. n coffee shop too.. we purchased lots of chocolates n soft toys there..
There is a free train tour too.. which is also amazing.. overall Hershey's trip was amazing n full of fun .. my kids n me enjoyed alot.. with lots of pictures n memories..
***** On 5 .
Much better experience than I was expecting. The whole family had a great time while learning tons of information about chocolate. Also the "world's largest candy store" had some pretty great prices on everything hershey and then some.
The trolley ride (75 mins long) and make your own candy bar were educational and fun experiences. I loved the chocolate tasting. The line for the factory tour was obscene on a Saturday mid day. Estimated waiting time was 150 mins for a 15 minute tour. Plan accordingly.
Factory tour was enjoyable for the kids. The line moved fast and sample are the end was a great way to finish off the day.
The tour was informative and nice. The whole place is beautiful and cool for kids.
We tried 3 types of shakes - they were great. There were some tiny issues that bothered us but in genneral the place worth visiting at least one time.
The experience it self is great, getting out of the parking lot is a joke.
A great for families with young children to visit. There is plenty to do. Be prepared to wait in lines due to the crowds. The quality of the food isn't that great. The only downside is the cost isn't too budget friendly.
Kids really like the tour but the merchandise is expensive.
We came here as part of our honeymoon road trip and it was more than what we expected!!! Such an awesome experience, and all of the staff congratulated us on our new marriage once they saw our newlywed shirts! We just had a great time!
A great place to visit with children, had loads of fun, the chocolate ride is great fun.
Kids enjoyed the thought of it but it way to long of a line from start to finish.
Good place to visit. Can be a little expensive for some of the activities, but it is attached to the Theme Park so it's to be expected. Love the Twizzlers Pharaoh.
A must see if you find your self in that area. Located right next to the Hershey park, it was a good idea to combine both visits. There is a free animated tour of the chocolate world and we got to see how chocolates made. Got free samples for tasting and there is a big shop too where you could buy souvenirs, relax or eat. There are photo booths to take pictures. We visited during the summer and the kids loved it.
Please take your kids. I was a big kid here. Shopping and tours.
They are working very hard to help everyone feel safe and stay healthy, while at the same time striving to keep it enjoyable.
Awesome spot to visit. Loved the your and the people were super friendly. Great adventure for the kids. And CANDY selection was amazing!!
Not at all what I expected, I should have read the reviews before we went. A fake factory tour, no chocolate smells and lots of overpriced souvenirs.
Wow. Wow. Wow. So much Hershey! I didn't have to pay $40 for learning because I was going to chocolate world. SAve the ticket they give you!
I found the squashed penny machine (yay) wayyyyyy ...in the back area near a pole.
I bought some new products to try.
Note: Some cash registers have a shorter line.
Spent our honeymoon here July 02, 2019 thank you for making it special
They have changed the chocolate tour ride. It is honestly disgusting and makes me so sad because I've been every year for the past almost 10 years and I am honestly disappointed with the updated cows and carts. The cows look creepier and the screen with the animations and lady talking is upsetting. The old stuff was wayyy better. With the old man cow taking your picture and the old cows with actual fur made the experience much better and more enjoyable. It would be a better decision to go back to the old cows and old carts because it was authentic and fun.
My son and I had a great time here! Very kid friendly, clean, lots to do!
Had every ting we wanted and we
love factory tour
We love Hershey Chocolate World! We make an effort to stop by every time we are in PA. Our kids especially love the taste testing. They felt like official chocolate tasters. haha We also love the little free ride that shows you how chocolate is made. There is never a long line for it and it almost reminds you of a Disney type ride. It's a great place!
The chocolate tour is so awesome. We loved it an had a great time. An prices are fair.
Foods mediocre rides are great ladies it's a kids park cover the cheeks at the pool
Has a lot of good things even though the prices are high
It's over hyped place meant for gullible people looking to throw away money to see information that's already available on the internet- like how to make a chocolate or tasting a chocolate. It's meant to lure kids into forcing parents to spend money.
Their Free Fake Factory tour is about 10 mins. Then they have 4 paid attractions - 4D movie (very lame even for kids), Tasting tour - you don't learn anything worthwhile, Trolley tour - Boring road ride, make your own chocolate - Pay $20+ for a custom Hershey chocolate bar with custom wrapper and walk through the process. This is probably the only highlight of the entire store!
Just FYI, you would probably get Hershey chocolate cheaper on Amazon than this store!
Pretty cool place, even when busy it is fairly easy to navigate. Definitely well run. I like stopping in here when in the area. Haven't tried any of the pay experiences though.
Got Amazing gift items for family lots to choose from hard to choose... I Love Hersey
Worth going to for the absolutely free piece of candy after the chocolate tour. My kids love this place.
I've Been Going Their Since I was 12 It Has Changed Over The Years. I Been Going To Hershey PA For About 45 Years
So much chocolate in one place, well worth the visit.take the trolley ride very informative.
it was fun but man did everything move at snail speed.. getting drinks, food whatever idk if they were under staffed or what but everything took forever to do.. it was quite pricey but that's expected
Interesting visit. Wish there was more data re: how many of each product is made per day. Also, would have liked a comment area. We are wondering why Reese Crunchy Peanut Butter Cups are no longer made, but no one or no where to ask other than this forum.
The Service was great! The store was clean...at Subway, Hershey Park was Great, the kids enjoyed the rides! Mainly the water rides. It was hot buy for kids sake. WE had a Great time. We stayed at Sleep Inn and suites., pool was great rooms were good, Staff was great except breakfast employee.thats a sweet chocolate time
It's okay to go to the Hersheys chocolate world to go shopping and eat candy and ice cream. There.
My family and I had a wonderful time in the park I hope to come back real soon in the future
Fun for the whole family!! Making your own chocolate bar is amazing!! The 4D movie was bad either
Even though the place was packed, the check out lines moved quickly
Good way to spend a day. They have five main attractions: the chocolate tour (which is free), design your own chocolate bar, the 4D movie, the chocolate testing and the trolley ride. The design your own chocolate bar is simpler than I thought - you pick white, milk or dark chocolate, whether you want any of a few extras (chocolate chips, pretzels, etc) and whether you want sprinkles. You also can pick the design for the wrapper to the box it comes in. The rest of the time you watch the bar get built.
You buy tickets for all the attractions (except the chocolate tour) beforehand, either online or at the ticket desk inside. There are also a bunch of food options for lunch, the huge chocolate and merchandise store, the bakery, the ice cream shop and a s'more shop. The s'mores are $9 a piece, they are huge they are messy, but they are good.
Definitely either get there early (it opens at 9) or in the evening. The place starts to full up mid-day, and lines for food, treats and the chocolate tour start to get long.
Very well-made tourist trap your kids will love. We decided to go on the free ride, skip the photo package, skip the tours and invest more in bags of chocolate and candy.
Parking is expensive but inside is free. really cool gift shop and dessert items.
Plenty of things to do for the whole family. Fun learning experience for the young and old.
The trolley ride was the best! And lots and lots of chocolate...
Fun free ride where you get chocolate at the end. I dislike the new entrance. I don't want to get my picture taken and I feel like the pictures are way overpriced.
Great family tour. Super store. Must see attraction.
This is always a great stop for out-of-town guests to stock up on chocolate. The Free Ride is very fun and informative.
It was cute an fun an of course the chocolate was amazing. Great thing to do with children.
Reese's peanut butter milkshake and the cookies are to die for. If you need to buy hershey's candy this is the only place to do it the candy is fresh. sweetestplaceonearth
Love. Love. Love...Clean. Amazing activities, shoppe and food options.
AMAZING!! Willy Wonka eat your heart out! The gift shop had everything imagined: shirts, cups, toys, keychains, cereal, candy and more...! Yes, Tully are required to wear a mask and take your temperature taken before entry.
Crowded! Crowded! Crowded! But pretty cool. Trolley tours were an hour late. Food is good but pricey.
Disappointed that the "tour" wasn't of the real factory but a mock up rotating ride. There were lots of things to purchase in the store. We did not do any extra things there like the chocolate bar making or the 4d mystery your.
It was great and the boy with me got to experience some new and exciting things.
What a great place to visit and the Trolley ride was exceptional!
Loved the nostalgia of the place; the Hershey's brand is americana. Great 4 kids n family friendly and u can make yournown chocolate bar. Loved it.
Very nice place and very clean, also a very wonderful experience
Excellent way to get a quick "taste" of Hershey. Free parking, free world of chocolate ride, inexpensive but big variety of lunch options, amazing ice cream and shakes, of course an amazing selection of well known and harder to find Hershey products. There are lots of paid activities, like making your own Hershey bar, 4D movie experience and others. We stop here every year on our way home from New England and we're always in and out in about 90 minutes. Such a great way to treat yourself without committing the whole day.
McDonalds. Deals on candy and the tour was neat! Worth the trip with the kids and inlays each year!
Learning about the history of the chocolate factory was very informative
I've been coming to Chocolate World since I was young child, and now I bring my own young children at least once if not more times throughout the year. Chocolate World has undergone some massive updates over the last several years and is a whole new place from what it once was. The shopping area has been expanded and organized to make finding all of your favorite Hershey products easy - and I do mean *all* of them. And more ... you'll find their newest chocolate creations you didn't even know existed yet. Plus now there are all kinds of activities in which to participate. In addition to the free "chocolate factory ride" which they update and change up the theme every few years (I will forever miss the chocolate making gnomes, but the singing cows are cute too), there is also a 4D mystery movie that the kids love, an adult chocolate tasting, a chocolate lab where you can make your own chocolate products, and different themed trolley rides that take you on a tour of the actual town. The food court still has a lot of overpriced junk food *but* it now offers a lot of really good healthy, seasonal, and unusual options like roasted local vegetables dusted in a little bitter chocolate powder, or bite sized pinwheels for your littlest eater. Our family is loving the changes and updates!
Was a long time since I went through seeing how chocolate is made. Was interesting
