Always an adventure for chocolate and sugarholics. The build your own candy bar is great for kids and adults of all ages. The trolley tour is very informative about the history of Hershey. The chocolate tasting will really test your taste buds and senses and you discover new flavors hidden in the chocolate. Overall a great experience, bring your wallet as the store sells everything Hershey.

I have been to chocolate world numerous times and it is always a joy. This time I took my 1 year old son and let me say I love the revamp tour. Hershey is slowly becoming a premier vacation destination.

Always a nice visit with family. Great selection of candy and chocolate with lots of fun venue options. Had experienced them throughout the yrs as the kids were growing up. Came for picture IDs for the kids as they lined up to "help" package kisses. Found out that this venue is gone, replaced by one that costs a lot more and you had to select a scheduled time slot. You get to take some chocolate home with the new venue but the IDs were more lasting as memories. Unfortunately more ways to make money as times change and costs increase.

Very beautiful and nice place for family.

Very beautiful and nice place for family.
Lots of activities, yummy chocolate of course, kids love it. You can make your own chocolate with a reasonable price. 4D movie also is good.
Try to buy your thickets in advance at least few days ahead , especially if you plan to go there on weekends and holidays.
Parking spaces are available enough
Only negative point is the expensive and below average quality food courts.
It is better to eat in close by restaurants and fast foods around the facility if you could wait.

This was a very nice place to visit. It was the off season so we were able to take the chocolate ride four times without more than a 5 minute wait. I had no idea there was so many varieties of hershey chocolates. We had eaten before arriving, but the chocolate braised BBQ looked very good.

I was in town for work. Stopped in to get my wife the chocolate peanut butter milkshake as we have had them before. Ordered two and they were accomodating when I asked them to dump them both in my Yeti water tank to keep it cool on the 90 minutre drive home. Best milkshake, possibly, that I have ever had.

My 4-year-old had a blast here with the free tour (with singing cows) and we paid to make our own chocolate bar. The place was wall-to-wall packed, even on a Friday afternoon which gave my husband a headache from all the noise. The prices were also insanely high. We spent $75 just to have my family make 3 chocolate bars.

Total letdown. Having visited the Hershey plant in Smiths Falls, Ontario many times before it closed we thought we would take our kids here on the way to VA to see what we got to see in Smith's Falls...chocolate being made, packaged...! Turns out it isn't a real factory at all and nothing is actually made in Herhsey any longer. All of the treats at Chocolate World can be purchased for cheaper price a few minutes away at any store like Wal-Mart or Target. My fault for not having done my research. We waited a good 45 minutes just to do the tour and watch a bunch of props. Perhaps more fun for younger children. My 11 year old especially was most disappointed. I suppose if you are visiting the amusment park too Chocolate World is worth it for souvenirs, but to just stop for the one place isn't worth it. Not to mention the crowds are insanity.

Good place for kids mainly, you will find lot of chocolate varieties of Hershey brand. You will find world largest Hershey chocolate here. Other then that you have tour of chocolate making and you can try your own candy and it has 4d theatre with some chocolate movies for kids. And some food courts. Overall good place to spend sometime

Wonderful place to spend with family and friends. Amazing, informative and enjoyable experience. Pricing is reasonable. Staff is very friendly and patients with kids. Best part?? Create our own chocolate . The tours are awesome, inside and outside the factory. My child love it and for me that is the best thing.

It's a chocolate wonderland that has an automated ride that takes you through the process used to create all of the amazing chocolate creations that has made Milton S Hershey a legend. After the ride you receive a chocolate bar and then travel a downward walkway that takes you to a place that wakes up all of your senses....sight,smell,sound...the smell of chocolate fills your nostrils and every product that Hershey has to offer is displayed in a tastefully over the top way! Prices are reasonable and their bakery section is second to none!!! Their signature cakes are superior and my family's all time favorite is the chocolate cake with peanut butter icing. They create cupcakes and slabs of fudge in all the flavors of their candy products...yes you can even get a twizzler cupcake or fudge that tastes like a Mr Good bar. If you don't visit this place you will truly be missing out on the "sweetest place on Earth"!

We really enjoyed visiting the chocolate world. There is a great assortment of candy as well as clothing and other products. While there, be sure to ride the free dark ride on how they create chocolate candy.

Interesting place... the ride inside is really a kids ride. Pretty boring for adults. The trolley/bus ride around the area to see the history of Hershey and the area was very interesting. Highly recommend that part!

This place is overwhelmingly great.. I honestly expected the prices to be a little lower.. but they are pretty high. The line is tremendous... think BJs or Costco on a weekend.. EXCEPT that it moves as if it was a Tuesday morning.... so don t get afraid.... and enjoy the overpriced chocolate making experience....:)

There food and pastries are stale in there off season and after talking to who said there a manager did nothing about wanting to correct the problem and made false flames of fixing it , best make sure you check what you buy and know that the off season you should stay away

Must see shows, they are amazing, interesting, and interactive. The chocolate tour, was extraordinary, and there is a surprise at the end. There is a place where you can create your own custom chocolate package, (bar, and display). Also, amazing staff!

So much fun for families young and old. The tour is very child friendly. Everyone gets a candy at the end. So much shopping with candy I haven't seen before or haven't seen in a long time! Great clothes and souvenirs!

Great place to know steps involved in making chocolate. There is a free ride which takes over factory model, is Fun. There are few paid rides/tours which were full for the week when we went there .. Place was so crowded OMG. But overall was fun time and knowledgeable tour.

It is a nice place to visit for some treats. But it seems that the cleaning could be better. Lots of dirty tables. The water in the bathroom was cold, (in the eating area) So cold that it was hard to keep my hands under to clean them.

Had a blast at Hershey's Chocolate World! We did the tour that explained about the history of Hershey Chocolate and how it is made, and then we got to create our own custom chocolate bars! Well worth the $20 pricetag for making the Chocolate bar...it was a fun experience!

I have never seen such bad animation in my life. There were so many screaming children and the trolley ride the music was awful none of those kids should ever sing and the only good part is leaving the park. The build your own chocolate bar was underwhelming overall just horrible.

Hershey's Chocolate World is a great place to learn about the history of Hershey's Chocolate and how it came to be. It has stuff like 4D movies, you can make your own chocolate bar, and you can go on a ride where you can learn about Milton Hershey and his chocolate empire (for lack of better term). Don't hesitate to bring your kids. There is a gift shop over there that has everything.

Used to be so much cooler :/ They had better songs, way less creepy mascots and they used to hand out free kitkats or Reece's but now it's just ALWAYS a chocolate bar. They've changed the whole experience into something worse and this review doesn't matter but it's not as fun as it used to be at all.

Did feel like I was going on a Willy winko factory tour but my kids really liked it. Tour was the destination and 30 minutes off course but family deemed it worth the time...they also got hersheys chocolate varieties that you can't find in all stores.

I would suggest to plan your trip really well. The chocolate world has different things to do. Trolley tour, chocolate making, 4D movie, and chocolate tasting. They all have specific timing and if you want to do all those four activities it takes about 4.5 hours. The chocolates tastes amazing.

The chocolate world is ok. We took the chocolate making tour which is a meh for what seems the biggest lone I ever seen. The prices a steep. Why they don t give you free tasting on some items is beyond me. They charge an arm and leg, at least give a couple of free samples to the masses. The shakes are nice, you should try them.
