Other than being able to buy chocolate (which can be done at any store on the planet,) this tour is an extreme waste of time. They have a tacky ride that simulates how they make the chocolate and a walk-through maze tour that has facts that can be looked up on the internet. I wish I could have that hour of my life back to do over.

Love this place! Theres a free ride where they show how the chocolate is made (and you get a free sample at the end). There's also a great store where they sell all kinda of their candy (even some limited flavors and types) - and it all tastes fresher from here. They also sell shirts and other tourist items.

pre buy tickets! I didn t realize the attractions had time slots; arrived at 12:30, two teens, interested in making your own candy bar and the tour: the trolley completely sold out for day and had to wait until 4:30 time slot for candy bar attraction: toured the place, bought souvenirs, had a milkshake and we still have 1.5 hours- as I write this I have two bored kids on phone- nice outside area- also parking is free the first three hours- staff was friendly, milkshakes were fine (7$), bought 4 shirts, two pair of socks, and two coffee cups, (140$), make your own candy bar (3 tickets, 96$)

Fantasy place for kids as the aptly say "The sweetest place on earth". I never knew that the place was named after the founder Milton Hershey. You literally become a kid in the candy store and I did . The chocolate tour and talking characters took me back to my childhood and I saw most of the elderly people also enjoying everything in the store as much the kids. You must try the smoores and Nibby coffee. Pls ensure to take the trolley ride.

I'm disabled and waited over 1 1/2 hour and never got the tour. It didn't seem to be organized for the handicap. Very disappointed. It may not seem like much to Hershey, but I spent over $1100.00 bucks on eight family members and drove two hours to get there.

This place is huge and a tourist destination. Chocolate world recently updated their ride and it shows. Be prepared to wait in line and an album upsale at the end.

The ride is for all ages and takes a person through the chocolate making progress with a tasty treat at the end. My kid loved the experience.

Large crowds and the line management is Disney quality. From the main store floor a person can see the beginning of the line through the windows on the second floor. Be prepared for a maze of turns and waiting.

At the end of the ride a nice Chocolate World employee with give your party a colorful album. The price was $30 when I went and too costly for my taste.

Another really fun Pennsylvania theme park, which means lots, and lots, and lots of very hilly walking. A good variety of rides, I especially like the height system for them going from Hershey Kisses to being a Jolly Rancher.

Chocolate World has changed several times and grown over the last time I visited. Still love the free ride although really wish that smaller groups could go in a separate car as no one wants a photo with strangers. Overall packed. Food is good but general lack of people cleaning tables. Lots of fun items to purchase and always fresh.

I came almost 5 hours away..the day was going fine until we went to go make are candy bars..The lady that was scanning are tickets was rude an just push us though..we didn't even get to see are candybars made..they was way ahead of use..the men's restroom was a mess on the toilet my son had to wipe it off before he went..it was a waste of Money an time now I'm $160 dollars out. The main reason I went is because my son has Autism and ADHD..I was thinking this would of been a good experience for him and it wasn't..I'm beyond upset..

The only thing remotely redeeming about this is the fact that you can get in and out without actually spending a dime here. If you are coming for a "factory tour" then you are going to be as disappointed as I was. This is not a factory, and the tour is a "It's a Small World" style ride through the process of making chocolate. We would have liked to have made our own chocolate bars, but for a sum greater than $65 for the three of us, we passed. An overpriced and overplayed hand on the part of Hershey. Skip this and see the Amish around Lancaster. They were much more appreciative, and had culture to share as well. Hard pass on this one.

Great place. We only went to chocolate world because we didn't have any kids with us and we don't do rides. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The chicken noodle soup and chili, both served in a bread bowl, were well worth the $10 price tag. It was pretty crowded but check out was super fast. Friendly tip...I have never been here where it wasn't crowded...if you don't like crowds this may not be the place for you.

This place is family friendly and really cool. Just being in the parking lot you can smell the chocolate, its a big place to do lots of things like the 4-d move, touring the factory, and building your own chocolate bar. All in all its a great place to make memories

Went for the tour and the tour we seen. We stopped on a Saturday night about 7 p.m. they were still packed. Waited I'll bet close to 45 minutes in a cue with lots of sugared up kids so be prepared for that. The ride was fun and informative though. The building itself holds it seems about anything Hershey related you could ask for. Candy on top of candy in tiny sizes to mega couldn't possibly eat it all sizes. Big lines there as well. Would maybe suggest going through the week if you can swing it! Good time overall.

Great low cost/free family friendly attraction that is open all year round. Free samples are offered as well as a great selection of special flavors of Hershey brand candies are there for sale at decent prices. We try to go on off days to avoid crowds.

They have everything and the tour, chocolate tasting and 4d movie are great. I would recommend to anyone who is visiting the park. The five of us had such a great time, can't wait to do it again.

Fun for the whole family. The chocolate tour was done well. You ride along in a "car" and see how chocolate is made. The Chocolate World building has other activities too and places to eat. You can also purchase all types of candies.

Place is a money bucket. Don't wasted your money on "making your own candy bar. It took over 2 hours and was not worth the time or money. The selection of what you can put on/in it is slim. The 4D movie was barely amusing my 4 year old. The prices on chocolate (unless you buy in bulk) are a joke and can't believe people were buying it. I will not go to this place again nor would I recommend it.

-------------During COVID-19 Pandemic----------

The system of taking reservations in order to enter Chocolate World presumably reduces crowds inside but it is most definitely not enough. At least on Saturday 9/5 the inside was packed. There was not a moment where you could open your arms all the way and not touch anyone. There was certainly no 6ft social distancing rules enforced.

On the chocolate ride for example they fill evey other car. Which slows the line down and causes people to wait over an hour in a cramped space inches from each other. It is clear that everything they have done was only with regulations in mind. Skipping every other car accomplishes nothing because each car is already 6 ft apart. You are almost overly safe for the 5 minutes you're on that ride but when you enter the rest of the building you are inches from people the entire time.

Aside from coronavirus Chocolate World is as expected. Pretty Good.

Love, love, love going here. This past weekend we took our daughter for her first Hershey's experience and it was alot more FUN with her. One thing I do want to add is the address to Chocolate World is incorrect or rather this physical address is.
