Girls 4 & 6 loved it! Parents loved the chocolate as well.
Rode trolley and made own candy bar wonderful experience to see how candy is made
I love it!! I live nearby which is a bonus. Such a fun place to visit!!
Fun, esp for kids. Candy store has good prices, but everything else is relatively expensive. Park is fun, too.
Web site said open until ten. Get there at 6:45 and it is closed. Need to fix your website.
Delightful trolley tour of the town. Nice informative conductor. Movie and chocolate tasting were good.
First time visiting Hershey park in all my life living in Pennsylvania. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area. Great park and experience with good food for a theme park. The only negative I would say is the park admission is expensive compared to some nearby parks like Dorney park and six flags.
There is so much to say about this place. parking is free or cheap. Going there is free. The ride is free. Candy is free at the end of the ride. Its the largest amount of Hershey Branded product you will find outside the internet and to top it off, the food court has some pretty delicious stuff! There are other experiences there i haven't tried yet but plan to, like taste testing and the create your own chocolate bar. Overall, every time I have been here has been a rewarding experience.
I love Hershey and everything about it, however, some of their staff need to be educated on the illegality of questioning someone's disability. I took my blind sister and her guide dog to stock up on chocolate when an employee approached us and demanded to know why two perfectly normal-looking individuals needed a guide dog. When I told her it was because my sister is blind, she apologized for her being blind and then walked away. Earlier that same day I witnessed an employee making fun of an older gentleman's limp while he walked with a cane. If things like this keep coming up, Chocolate World is a giant lawsuit waiting to happen.
Beautiful....tasty...yummy....a good experience for kids...
Wonderful experience specially for the kids. You can spend a whole day with fun. Both indoor and outdoor adventures available. Need to buy ticket for the same. Loved the tour indoor showing how the chocolates are made. Lots of chocolate shops and restaurants available inside. We experienced making chocolates of our own inside the factory. Overall it was a great tour and we loved it. The tour was really educational for us and the kids.
Once covid is over will be a fun place to visit. Free parking under 3 hours.
Fun filled short lines. If you are planning a trip to the factory then get the ticket that includes everything. They keep you booked all day.
The sweetest place on Earth. The factory tour was a lot of fun. If you like chocolate like I like chocolate, it is very difficult to walk out of there with Nothing in Your Hands.
Unless you are there for the amusement park. It's a complete joke
Always a fun time. The treats are delicious and the ride is fun. Everything is extremely expensive, so bring your wallet.
This place was crazy. It was extremely hot the day we visited, so everyone was inside. We left shortly after arriving because you couldn't even walk through.
It was so terrible. The prices were ridiculous and it was just an overwhelming experience. I won't be going back there for a while
Fun for the whole family. Prices were pretty reasonable.
The short 30-min tour was nice. Worth a stop if you're in the neighborhood, though not worth a special trip.
Fun place. Wasn't too crowded for a Summer Saturday. Candy prices are more reasonable than I expected.
Alex at Ice Cream and Milkshakes did a great job of matching the quality of the milkshakes to those advertised on the screen. His female co-workers on shift before him did not attempt to provide the same quality in product. Great job Alex!
Hershey's chocolate world is a amazing place to go to. It located in Pennsylvania. The prices are extremely very reasonable and cheap. They have excellent stuff to buy as souvenirs like clothes, tshirts, hoodies, sweaters etc. Thry also have teddybears with different logos, and each one of them has amazing smell to them. They also have good different chocolates to enjoy. The place is very crowded with people but it is worth buy stuff in that store. I recommend anytime to go it is the best.
A great visit! So many things to see and do while there!
Wide variety of gifts and a short tour on how they make chocolate.
I've been visiting Chocolate World for 30 years and have NEVER been disappointed! The FREE "tour" ride is a must-do!
Kids loved it...... And we enjoyed the trip and the 4D show is just awesome ......
We had a great time here and made a day of it participating in all the events they had to offer. I was anticipating the 4D movie to be pretty lame but I was pleasantly surprised. My kids are 10 and 13 and thought it was a wonderful day.
My only suggestion for the employees is this. The actors/actresses on the trolley tours need to spruce up their costumes. They're too small, disgustingly filthy with rings of dirt around the collars and cuffs. The actress on ours had it stretched so thin because it was too small that the seams were showing. I was shocked to see this given how nice the venue is.
Amazing Experience. It's Chocolate world. Mostly kids are enjoying lot there . This place is described history of hershey chocolate . We can enjoy different chocolates . I enjoyed 4D movie as well . Also , children are enjoying different rides like Roller coster and all ..
FAMILY FUN FUN FUN TIMES!!!! My suggestion is to purchase a package and try all the activities. Although a bit expensive, it was a great way to spend the day with my family!
I've been coming here for 30 years. Ever sense they turned it into a money making scam with pictures at every turn it's gone down hill.
Chocolate World is a great place for kids to enjoy. The ride itself is free and you can ride it as many times as you want. Both my kids who are more than 20 years apart loved it and now my grandkids love it. The band was a fun new addition that the grandkids and I really enjoyed. The only issue I have is how outrageously expensive most things, outside of the free ride are. I spent around $80 and all we got were 2 picture packages from the ride, 2 souvenir bags and scoops of ice cream. You could literally spend hundreds of dollars for each person to do everything there is to do and get a souvenir.
Great fun place.. factory simulated tour is awsome. Kids love the tour every time. At the chocolate world shop the selection is amazing. Anything and everything you may want. Prices are very reasonable especially on the larger bulk packaging. Sweet, sweet smell of chocolate. A perfect place to visit with family friends. We always enjoy Hershey's Chocolate World. Thank you
Great place! Chocolate tasting could have been a little bit better in terms of what you get for what you pay but overall this place was fun. Definitely get a meal ticket if you plan to eat here because you get a better deal. Free piece of chocolate at the end of the chocolate world ride was a fun bonus!
Went on 4 attractions for Chocolate World. Good. Only one was Historical Trolley not good. Guide talked WAY TOO FAST trying to get in all info he needed to get in. Some of it was not relevant to a historical tour. Most of the candy he passed out was totally melted.
Hershey Chocolate World was okay. The first thing that I did was see the interactive video, which was a little weird. Second, I did the tour of the factory. The tour of the factory was cool but it was not a real tour of the factory. Third, I did a chocolate taste test, which was good, and after that I made my own chocolate bar. The machine made my chocolate bar had little toppings, and mixed milk chocolate with dark. Overall, Chocolate World was okay.
How much better can you get, it's Chocolate World! service was excellent, selection of stuff was great, everything tasted very good. It is one of my favorite stops in the area!
Awesome. The 4D theater was really great. Very personalized. My daughter loved to be recognized and called by name for her love of Harry Potter series. Chocolate tasting 'class' was very good too. Brilliant actors and script. Got adventure 4 option. The cart tour of factory imitation was a brilliant idea, free of cost too.
A must see. Fun shopping and food. The tour is a must. Not great on packed days for obvious reasons. Clean and modern. My kind of tourist trap! Kind of like a fun mini mall fun zone.
Disclaimer: This review is specifically for the Reese's Peanut Butter Egg and not the Hershey's Chocolate World visitor center.
Gone are the days of having to bite off pieces of chocolate to obtain the perfect ratio of chocolate to peanut butter. Gone are the days of feeling like there was something missing from your treat...something like a little extra peanut butter. Behold, the Reese's PB Egg.
Biting into the a Reese's PB Egg is an experience of pure bliss. As you bite into the egg, the soft chocolate gives way to more than a 1/4 inch of peanut butter delight. If, like me, you naively think you will save an extra egg to share with a loved one--think again. The egg will call to you and it will not be denied.
A Reese's PB Egg somehow captures the joy of Christmas even weeks or months after the holiday has passed. It reminds you that all will be right in the world if you just believe in happiness. Did you just find out your husband's car will cost $1300 to replace a head gasket? Who cares! Trust in the happiness and peace you feel after consuming your Reese's Egg. It will revitalize your spirits and remind you that life is not to be passively endured. It is to be taken by the hands, unwrapped, and enjoyed!!
We all 6 had fun it was an amazing experience loved it
Great experience about the Hershey's chocolate and its history
Interesting to learn how chocolate is made. Very kid friendly.
Fun, must stop place to see and shop. And their free tour is fun.
Absolutely wonderful time! The tour is worth the wait! It was so much fun and my 5 and 7 year old thought it was really neat! The singing cows were a little loud. But i learned a lot about hershey! Seriously though, bring money theres a lot of things you are going to want to buy. Tour is free though!
More coasters than many people realize! Great layout. Beautiful landscaping and very clean!
Great family activity! Plan to spend a good part of the day here. Very reasonably priced though.
Went on the 5th was so extremely crowded I didn t even want to shop in there. Didn t get to experience anything because of the crowds. I ll update this if I ever get the chance to do it without the mob that it was.
So overly commercialized. But if that's what you're looking for......
If you're visiting Hershey a stop by Hershey's Chocolate World is an absolute must and has become a bit of a family tradition. The tour through the Chocolate Factory is quite a experience as the ride takes you through every step of chocolate manufacture and the smell of chocolate wafts through the air. It can be a bit crowded during special events such as Christmas time but overall given the size and number of things that there are to do this is usually quite manageable.
Sitting in the food court at Chocolate World right now. The eating area is absolutely filthy without one employee cleaning anything in sight. What a shame. The chocolate shake line was almost as long as the line for rides at Hershey Park. What a shame. It used to be the second happiest place on earth.
The staff goes above and beyond when it comes to accommodating the needs of the customers.
Huge chocolate collection.. ride is nice.. but movie is not so good... also it celebrates sweetness and demonizes things/people who are anti sugar :(
LOVE, LOVE ,LOVE this place. Fun for all ages. Had an awesome time here. Even enjoyed the awesome cupcakes. Had to come back twice in one week while we were on vaction just to get more cupcakes . Every exhibit was an awesome experience. THANK YOU HERSHEY FOR AN AWESOME TIME!!! Also the employees were very friendly and helpful. I love this place.
Slightly crowded, especially for the winter time. The free Chocolate World tour was a great ride through the history and process of how they make their chocolate! There are a few paid activities where you can make your own candy bar, experience a 4D movie, or take a trolley ride. The food inside Chocolate World was not that great, but the coffee bar has nicely flavored coffee and mocha options.
There is also a LARGE candy shopping area with so many different Hershey products, many of which you don't usually see in the local grocery stores. We left with a bunch of gifts and chocolate to snack on!
Great destination if you have little kids. Pleasant "tour" that simulates factory experience that explains how chocolate is made, with whiffs of cocoa and chocolate smells infused over slow rolling tour cars. Huge gift shop, full of all the products Hershey makes, plus some clothing and trinkets. Free EV charging in the parking lot.
Really cool place... If you like chocolate this is the place to go . Do the tour of course ...
Used to love this place.. redesign, long lines & inefficient staff makes it suck now. What a shame..nothing but a money grab now.
