Perfect place to take your kids if they like Hershey's candy. Perfect learning opportunity. Lastly, this amazing ride that teaches you step by step how to make a candy bar and kiss and peanut butter cup

Fun place for whole family. Would be nice if they offered more details on the business.....for instance how many pounds of sugar do they use a year? How many kisses do they produce each year? A bit expensive. Worth it.

Who doesn't love chocolates . You'll have a ride inside, how their chocolates are made and all the history of Hershey's. Kids would love it, one of the must go places with kids.
So dive in to lots of chocolates there.

Admittedly it would be cooler to see actual making of chocolate on tour, rather than videos and mock ups, but it's still worth the stop. We were passing through and it provided a great respite from the hours in the car. And the tour we did was free, so all the better. But the candy store must be seen to be believed. Flavors of common Hershey's candy that you've never seen and some unique finds. I didn't even know Hershey's made some of the ones we found!

We had a great time riding the tour ride and shopping at Hershey's Chocolate World. Their procedures for protecting their staff and guests from covid-19 were perfect and everything ran smoothly. We had no wait to get into the building or on the ride. Everyone in my group feel safe and had a very positive experience.

The majority of the rides were very fun and thrilling. I rode mostly roller coasters and they were all great rides. However, I purchased the all day meal plan and I was limited on the places I could eat at. As a teen who likes food, I was disappointed by the amount of places I could not eat at. Other parks like Kings Dominion do not have this rule and you can eat anywhere. I also deeply regret riding the ride LaffTrakk. I was expecting a much better ride but it was delivered poorly. I waited an hour and a half to ride it and it was the only one I regret riding. I would recommend Hershey Park, but the quality and effort put into the theme if the parks abd rides are a bit lacking. Overall, I had a fun time.

My kids loved this. We were just looking for a quick diversion on our way to DC. I know there is a full theme park, but I wanted something small. This is the kind of thing that makes my tweens giggle. Also, I let them go shopping at the store. Talk about kids in a candy store! This was an inexpensive way to spend an afternoon. I'm sure the park is cool, too, if you have the time. :)

I love Hersheypark with all my heart and soul, but I am really upset with the remodel of the Chocolate World Tour. They've made such drastic changes in the last few years that it's become so cluttered that I can't even recognize the place. The catchy show tunes by the singing cows and at the end sequence have been replaced with modern absurdities, and the place is littered with projection screens instead of actual elements. It just seems lazy and pandering to the wrong crowd. Everything I loved growing up as a kid has been demolished and replaced with a shell of what it once was. I enjoyed the subtle changes in the past years, but recently this complete overhaul has just ruined the novelty. And it shows-- a ride that used to be packed every time I would visit, was almost completely open up until the final stairs leading in. (Not to mention the random access hallways taking away from the atmosphere in the queue.)

Hershey, sometime's if it ain't broke, don't fix it. This is one of those times.

I went here All through my child hood it was nicer growing up there had actual people working the place as you went through factory and now it's ride through and animated and very little chocolate made here only what they make in animation and have test shipped up from Mexico where they needed jobs but Hershey owners didn't stop and think of all the people they put out of work that needed there job and had families to support as well it was very wrong what they did so only come down here once in blue moon any more and don't get Hershey products much any more either so make your own mind

Activities include chocolate tasting, trolley ride, 4D movie, factory tour, make your own candy bar... and a huge gift shop of everything Hershey. Staff is really friendly. Loved our visit.

It is as the others have said. This place is a Willy Wonka world minus the chocolate river!

If you are in the neighborhood, definitely drop by to visit the factory and theme park. We did not go to the theme park, which looks like real fun, but went to the factory only.

The factory is huge with many familiar Hershey's characters around for the to take pictures with, and a lot of Hershey's cholates, many unique ones that you can't find on supermarket shelves.

Best of all, the chocolate factory tour is free and the kids loved it, as did the adults! It is the first factory tour we've been on that actually feels like a theme park ride. It is very very well done. You can to learn about the history of Hershey's and also the process of how chocolates are made, all through riding on a super sized cocoa bean through a cartoon town and factory!

At the end, there's a additional cherry on top of the whole tour, a free chocolate. Loved the experience here!

We drove around 10 hours to get here to find that there was a 6 to 8 hour wait for the factory attractions. We were not able to sample, build a candy bar or 4D movie. We did the very small free tour....Definitely NOT worth the drive!...Very dissapointed!

So, where do I start. On the website the advertisement says the free tour of the factory takes 30 minutes, which took about 7 minutes, the tour was nice but short. And it was free. But the choclate and eateries are very expensive, one would think it would be cheaper since it's the Factory, right? One last thing, the place was packed, I didn't think it would be that full, but it was. Besides all that, it was nice and would recommend you go see it for yourself.

While we went when they were still adding the final touches, it looked amazing and exciting. Hopefully they will be able to open more rides this season as the current Pandemic has affected alot. But atleast this new part is something to look forward to.

I love this place. The tour is so much fun and you get a free piece of chocolate at the end. I loved the singing cows and the tour was informative. Not sure how anyone could hate on a FREE tour. They can't give you a tour of the real factory because it would be so dangerous for kids. I didn't do any of the paid activities because I had already spent money on a ticket for Hersheypark. But I did think the make your own chocolate bar would have been cool.

The kids enjoy the ride and you can't beat the price, but the whole experience definitely has a brainwashy atmosphere. We got some milkshakes and they were nice enough, but the s'mores flavor was a little off.

Unexpected! I wasn't prepared for this level of execution. The mock factory tour was better than any factory tour could hope to be. The rest is a giant shop.

This being the low season we just sailed through but we could see they were prepared for huge crowds with long waits.

The shops and food court are unusually expensive. Even for a tourist site. $30 for the photo album?

Of course it is just chocolate, but the town of Hershey is a model of a corporation giving back go the community. Well done Mr. Hershey.

We would love to give Chocolate World 5 stars but...the tour on the trolley did not fit our standards. The tour guide is too fast and the tour pretty much takes you to places you can drive yourself to for less than $14.00 they charge. Inside Chocolate Town you can take photos, enjoy a tour on a electric car of a small size digital version of the Chocolate Factory so you DON'T get to go into the actual factory which is unfortunate. The staff is great and helpful plus you can enjoy a 30 min movie. Mr Hershey did so much for PA and for the town there isn't to much homage to Mr Hershey in town nor a statue. Chocolate Town is small but you will see tons of candy you can buy but the prices are WAY to expensive. Not at all what's expected since the factory is literally across the street. Wal-Mart sells it cheaper. If you want to buy something Wal-Mart does not have try their brownies, milk shakes and desserts they are AMAZING! Next to Chocolate Town is Hershey Park you can buy bundle tickets inside chocolate town to enjoy it all. Oh parking is free for 3 hours after 3 hours its $15 for another 3 hours so it's worth it if you are staying all day. Stay safe and wear your mask!

Always a great time at the Chocolate factory and love the free sample at the end! The store has some exclusive Hershey chocolates that you can't find anywhere else. If you've never been or just want some free chocolate take a stop in!

Better than I expected. We went at the end of the evening so the chocolate tour line was very short. I wouldn't wait in the typical looooong line for the chocolate tour (your not seeing the real factory). Overall you'll find a lot of Hershey selections and a good meal area

Yikes. This hotel room smells so smokey its burning my lungs. I think its deceptive to market an old smoking room as smoke free when it's still so heavy in the air. It's really smokey in here. I'm calling corporate tomorrow.

Great family friendly atmosphere. Great for the kids as well. They have a few different places to eat. Process are crazy expenwive tho. Food was decent but not worth the price paid. Also have a ride that shows you how they make the chocolate. Fun for the the kids.

A great place during the off-season but obviously incredibly busy during summer. Great milkshakes but long line and a little expensive. Many candy choices but no great deals. Lines to purchase anything were all long. If you go, make sure you do the ride- it is very entertaining!

Great family outing. Clean and friendly staff everywhere.Coupons in local magazines are not accepted with any combo deal. We purchased the 4D movie, create a candy bar, and palette tasting. Middle school aged children loved the hands on palette tasting and creating their own candy bar. However, the 4D Movie is for a younger audience as elementary or younger. To eat, play, and shop be prepared to spend 4 hours to have an enjoyable day. Well worth every minute and memories that our family will cherish.

Really fun experience. There's just too many people though in the summer time. Come here early!

Buy tickets to do all the activities!
The 4d show is interactive and you can create your own candy bar here too!
Only downside is the 4d sprinkles water on you during the show, I could do without that.

This place also has lunch items from pizza, sandwiches, wraps or bread bowl soup. I saw slushies that were cherry and the other blue raspberry flavored.

Lots of fancy desserts to choose from as well. Cupcakes, brownies, milkshakes, s'mores and ice cream and probably more I missed.

This is the only place you can buy 5 pound Hershey bars. Yum! They have a gift shop and a section just to buy candy.

The service here is great. They are friendly and let me rename my bar!

If you like chocolate this is a one time experience you don't want to miss!

This was an awesome place to go in the off season. The parking was free, there were sales on the chocolate with Christmas/holiday wrappers, and the workers were all pleasant. There is a lot to do/see while you re there and it s easy to spend a couple hours here, especially if you ve got kids.
