You walk through these doors and the inner child jumps for joy!

Pardon the pun, but this is a sweet place, even just the chocolate shop! Wall-to-Wall chocolate.

Want to make your own chocolate bar - no problem. Need to buy the world s largest chocolate bar - yup, you can do this here.

Take a moment, indulge your inner child and satisfy that sweet tooth! Be sure to say hello to Kiss, Reese, and Hershey!

We love Chocolate World! I love that you can visit without spending any money (just go on the ride), but we usually leave with chocolate anyway. The 4D movie is fun, especially for little kids.

This was our second visit to Chocolate World. The last time was about 2007 and there were a lot of upgrades and changes. I found out they had remodeled 2 years ago. Lots to do, including a 4-D movie, the chocolate ride through which is free, places to order chocolate foods/shakes, design and make your own candy bar, picture opts, shopping for clothes and candy. If you've never been, it's well worth the time to stop and spend as little or as much time as you want. But plan to spend at least an hour here. They have different kinds of chocolate items that you won't see in stores and some specialty items, too. You can always buy your favorite Hershey's candy in bulk!!!!!

We decided to go on our way home from Hershey on our last day instead of using a day we had tickets for the park. I bought tickets the week before online for the make your own chocolate bar experience and the 4d movie. You need to allow 30 minutes for the movie and 45 minutes for the chocolate bar experience. Other reviewers said to get there early or it would get crowded so we arrived at 9am when it opened.

We did the ride first so there was no wait. They take your picture with an actual photographer so had I known that I would have had my hair and makeup done. They revamped the ride and it's still fun. It's animated and cute. This is simulated so they are showing the process but they are not making actual bars. The actual production plant stopped doing tours many years ago which is a shame. At the end they offer you a picture package which is $35.00 if you want it, which we did. They give you a free piece of chocolate when you get off the ride.

The 4d movie was awesome! However, using one size fits all glasses is a little ridiculous. My kids were upset that their glasses kept falling off. The movie is interactive and feeds off the audience. The picture is a 3d picture and the chairs vibrate and move a bit. There are bubbles that come down from the ceiling. A great experience, minus the glasses.

The make your own chocolate bar experience is great in theory but had a number of issues in reality. The machine had just been fixed when we went. The computer lost my order and that of my husband. My kids bars went into production and we had to redo ours. We missed theirs getting made and then had to wait for ours. The person scanning the tickets was unenthusiastic and had no idea how to help us. Management was apologetic and gave us all a coupon for a free cookie for all of our aggravation. While it was a nice gesture and the kids loved it, it ruined the experience for the adults. At the end, my three small kids did not want to wait another 20 minutes for our bars to be made. If there had not been issues with the machine, it would have been a great experience. However, they book too many people at a time and that is a problem too. Having a chocolate wrapper we designed, with a chocolate bar we customized, and in a nice tin was worth it.

The gift shop is great and we did buy a few things. For those who complained it is there, it is Hershey! Since it was my last stop, we planned on getting souvenirs here so we didn't buy any elsewhere. Their prices were reasonable as I am used to paying them in NY.

This is worth the trip and a must see. It is not cheap though if you are going to do the things we did besides the ride.

This place is awesome! It has a free tour that shows how Hershey chocolates are made. I think that the 4D movie is cool and worth the price. Also you can make your own chocolates. This is one of the only places that you can get the world's largest chocolates and candy. But I think the gift shop is over priced.

It's about chocolate; what's not to like! There's a tour for the kids which is a lot of fun and tells about the history of candy and of course a HUGE store you can browse to buy any and every product Hershey ever made - at twice the price!!!

Free parking up to three hours. Free tour with free chocolate at the end. The tour was great too. Very enjoyable 30 mins. If you take the tour getting on and off the tram can be a bit hard as the floor is moving. It does seem to be wheel chair accessible but not to great if you have mobility issue (just ask for a wheelchair. Finally, a giant gift shop that is amazing in its self.

I remember visiting an Hershey factory in Smithsfalls Ontario in the 80s. Well, this was nothing like it. It is a huge amusement park combined with a chocolate factory tour. Kids go crazy in there but you must have guessed.

Awesome fun place.. liked their simulated chocolate factory tour. Be ready to stand in long queue even though you won't notice any wait times from outside.. the waiting are for the tour does have nice history of Hershey. But young kids might get tired of waiting. Queue for food is quite long as well..

If you like chocolate you will definitely like this place! It's a chocolate lover's heaven. They have a few activities that you get to do such as a mystery tasting class. Our favorite part was the make your own candy bar portion, you pick the chocolate, toppings, and then watch it being made. You also get to design your own candy bar cover which was really cool.

It's a good place to visit multiple times if you are into candies. For first time visitors, my suggestion would be to go there, do the free chocolate tour which hands down beats the paid 4d movie and chocolate tasting which is nothing but smelling and eating 3 or 4 Hershey's chocolates. Save your money and buy a bag of chocolates instead. Other than the free tour and free photo ops, you can take the make your own candy bar which is a lot of fun. It also pays for your parking so there's that. The package deal may sound attractive but the trolley, chocolate tasting and 4d are a bunch of time wasters but if you are planning to spend more than half a day here go for it to kill time

The kids always enjoy it. Ride the free chocolate ride where they show you how the chocolate is made and get a free piece of chocolate. Then buy hundreds of lbs of chocolate in the store.

I used to love the free ride before they remodeled and removed the history aspect from the queue. Now there's a photo stop before riding it to try and suck more money from families. The ride is still fun.

Is just a big souvenirs store. Entrance tickets are free but if you want to do the other fun cool activities, you have to buy other extra ticket (not cheap at all) and with a day or maybe days previously. In my case, the days i visit the park and I asked an employee outside the building, he just mentioned the entrance ticket but not the rest. Also something sad, it was my bday and well, i really was expecting something special or at least with any candy but nothing of that happend. Too sad, the high expections i had from the outside didn't match with what i experienced from the inside the store. Prob will never go back

For chocoholics, a visit to Hershey Chocolate World is a must!

As well as the tram tour, the Chocolate world has a factory 'tour' ride and the largest amount of chocolate merchandise you have ever seen. And of course they have a LOT of chocolate for sale. Every kind you could ever imagine, and some special pricing on bulk items.

We also ate at the restaurant here which was surprisingly good value and tasty.
