Lots of fun and sweets!! Some old school candies. Somewhat expensive but it is a tourist trap. Fun activities for the kids, for a price of course.

A fun place the whole family will enjoy. It's chocolate after all.
A local favorite, I'm generally always pleased with my experiences here.
Amazing place, great staffs and I had this one terrifying rolla coaster experience..lol not too sure if I'm going to do that again..
Good food and fun. Staff was a little cold overall, except the young lady who served us our lunch.
This is my third time visiting. I really thought the would have made more up-grades to the ride itself. But really can't complain for a free ride.
Hershey is REALLY doing their thing. They are adding more and making more BETTER for us...
Amazing place ! But your tickets online to avoid a sold out show
Chocolate World is in front of the Hersey Amusement Park. Parking is free for the first three hours. The chocolate tour is not a factory tour. It's like a small world ride. It took about twenty minutes of waiting in a que. It does have historical posters of Hersey's history. You get into a cart and ride through an animated chocolate tour, kids will love it. We did the chocolate tasting for $10. It was interesting to learn about how to taste chocolate and you get to taste six of their small chocolate bars.
Our 7 year old granddaughters favorite part of a New York, New Jersey weekend trip!
They are going to great lengths to keep their customers safe! It's great!
We made our own chocolate bars and that experience was amazing
Very organized with dealing with Covid 19. Time checkins, temp checks, social distancing etc. Hershey should be proud of itself and the workers.
Went to the zoo i had a good time the zoo is not that big but it was nice
Went to the store only. Felt it was laid out to make you hunt for things rather than be able to grab and go.
Cool place. There's a short ride about how chocolate is made that is free and good for all ages. There's a movie, but I didn't see it. There's a food court with everything from coffee to ice cream to smores. And of course a very large shop with every Hershey's product imaginable.
When I was a kid I remember going through the factory for a tour. This was a scaled down version which I guess makes more sense. Especially now that they dont make chocolate there. Not happy that they took the overhead heating element out, was pretty cool getting cooked like a bean.
Great menu, delicious food, relaxed atmosphere, and server Jeanne was friendly and excellent! Highly recommend hanging out there.
A very clean and fun place to visit.. much of it is one giant gift shop after your ride through the process of making the chocolate products, which is done in a fun and insightful way. Bring your credit card because you will definitely find something you will want! Lol
Loved it. Can be very crowded in the Summer especially on weekends. My girls love the free factory tour ride. It's more more enjoyable if you can avoid the crowds.
I ve been three times and have enjoyed every visit. There s a free ride and they give you a sample of chocolate at the end. There s lots of merchandise to choose from and unique gifts. There are several other experiences you can choose from that cost extra, but some are worth doing. Everyone should visit Chocolate World at least once!
A must go place. Always visit when going to Hershey Park. The ride is free!
Pretty neat free tour, but there was about a 30 minute wait in line in July. The store is a chocoholic's delight. I think the entire place is sort of geared towards kids, which I don't have. If you're in the area, stop by and see it.
It's pretty cool to see the process of the factory. You get a lot of information too. My kids loved being able to make their own chocolate bar. Just keep in mind that if you choose white chocolate for your bar, it still gets covered in milk chocolate.
It was horrible over crowded missed alot of events due to parking issues long lines and poorly placed signs
Cute tour! The girls both enjoyed it. The trolley ride was great and very informative
Love hershey world they are doing great with limiting how many people come in the building you can walk around not bumping into people its nice.. only thing i have to say is the bundles they need to do better like pick any 2 for .... price or pick any 3 for... cause the 4d movie is so boring but the make ur own and trolly ride is awesome! Only negative thing on trolly they need to space people out more you are on top of each other like basically in ur neighbors lap but tour it self is great
They could put some outdoor heaters out for Christmas in the park to help guests warm up. But great time overall.
Informative, and interesting to the point of keeping my attention to the details of th story. Bring your kids so they can see where chocolate bars come from
Great family destination! All families should go-many times!
It's a great day trip to get the kids out of the house. Especially on bad weather days. A plus for me: whenever we go to Chocolate World, we follow it up with a trip to Troegs Brewery right up the road.
Great experience for tourists & great thing to do with kids
A visit is warranted if you're in the area. The store is huge but I would not recommend any of the tours etc unless your kids are cranky.
There were some super deals on chocolates which were left over from Valentine's Day.
There were also exclusive chocolates available not found elsewhere.
I could go here again and again. There are always new products and a lot to learn about how chocolate is made. The staff are friendly and helpful. The building is clean and there is plenty of parking and everyone has a good time together.
I never get tired of visiting here, chocolate store is great and well stocked with my dark chocolate favorites. The make your own candy bar is pretty cool.
A really nice place. Suggest getting the package that includes all 4 options.
Nice place to take kids / grandkids. Not the factory tour that was expected.
Liked that you can pick which activities you want to buy a ticket to instead of paying a large sum and not taking part in everything. The make your own chocolate bar was fun along with the tour of the town.
We enjoyed the visitor center and the informative ride they have. I don't think I'd drive to go to here, but we were driving through Pennsylvania and wanted to check it out. Will probably stop by again. It was fun.
Who doesn't love chocolate? This is paradise for anyone who loves the sweet stuff!!!
We didn't expect to see that much there. The shop itself is huuuge and you can taste stuff - which is great to discover new treatsn
There is also a 15-minute ride that shows you how Hershey treats are made. It was SO interesting and well-done. And it was free!
Would recommend, especially for families.
This is the greatest chocolate factory in the world!
It was amazing the chocolate taste amazing and it comes in large sizes, the smores taste amazing a little too sweet but still amazing but things there is really expensive thats the only flaw
Fun little free stop in the Hershey attractions. Curiously no mention during the ride that they closed the PA factory and moved production to Mexico... *Shrug*
Best place ever! This is not only for kids. I enjoyed myself, every min. I was 5 again!! lol
I had a really awesome time here with my family. The rides are really cool and it has rides for everyone - from kids to adults- and also family rides - from thrill-seekers to water rides to scaredy cats. Hershey chocolate world was also nice to visit and shop.
Free tour and then free small Hershey bar after is worth more than the five stars. Peking was even free if you were there for less than three hours, which was not a problem at all. We stopped by here on our way from Knobels to Lancaster. Tour mimicked the production as closely as possible. We did not what to expect and presently surprised that the line was fast and that we got to sit as a family of four in a mini car as we went though the tour. No great deals for products at the end unless you wanted to purchase large quantities of the same candy. We purchased a variety of 4 king bars for $5 and continued our journey eating our chocolate.
Rated the best bc it is a land of magic I had the all day pass so I got to make a chocolate bar and it was so good and I got to watch a 2d movie
Get here early, no later than 9:15am. There is little/no line for the tour. Get your free chocolate. Walk over to the park entrance and wait for it to open at 10:00. Remember, if you park in the Chocolate World parking, you can only stay for three hours till they charge $15 (5+ hrs=$35). Follow signs for Hersheypark parking. You will walk past Chocolate World on your way in.
Was a lot of fun and lots of things to do. Like chocolate tasting, make your our candy bar, 4d movie, tour, and trolley. Definitely worth buying the package deal to do all the experiences.
The Hershey park is right next door. You easily spend a day or 2 here.
Grandkids love the chocolate factory ride, pictures way to expensive, we asked to not have them taken and was told it's NOT a choice. Still like the ride.
Everything sweet and lots of gift items related to candy.
Go for the chocolate, Stay for the...chocolate. That s pretty much it
Do all the adventures for $40 per adult, best value. They have everything laid out for you with specific times for each activity. Kid friendly. Be prepared to eat chocolate!
Place where you can visit with your whole family and kids and to know her she's story
Who doesn't like chocolate ? We took the tour of Hershey's chocolate world,it was pretty cool to see from root to shelf all that is involved. When you finish the tour you walk out into what is marketing genius. Every Hershey product you could ever think or ask for. I'm curious what the average family walks out spending in there, for mine it was 40.00
Hershey s lovers dream! Every chocolate imaginable.
Really fun place to bring a family. Obviously the chocolate is very good, and the rides and interactive activities are fun. Some of the food and gift shop products are a bit overpriced, but in general it's a nice place to go and spend the day (along with going to the park of course).
Tons of Fun If You Buy The Packages
Ok, so there is a free tour that is just ok. It lasts about 15 minutes and takes you on a automated tour of a mock up factory. It is pretty neat but if that is all you did it would not be that great.
However, there are several different ticket packages that you can buy that are alot of fun. We did the Chocolate tasting, 4D Movie and make your own chocolate bar.
The chocolate tasting was good and lasted about 20 minutes, you got 4 small size bars to try. 4D movie was also about 20 minutes and was a good time as well. But the most fun was the make your own chocolate bar. Kids absolutely love this experience and it makes for a great souvenir.
The tickets are a little spendy so if you are only going to do one "paid" thing I would do the make your own chocolate bar for sure but if you really want to spend a little more time then the other events are fun as well.
There is also a huge shop where you can buy all sorts of Hershey candies, many of which are hard to find.
Doing all events and a little shopping we spent about 3 1/2 hours there.
For sure this is a fun thing to do especially if you buy a few of the activity tickets.
It's a money pit. Good chocolate, but I can buy my favorite bar at home. Tourist attraction!
Very clean and well maintained and the gyro place has vegan options!
So good ! The giant Hershey's bar and other candy's are amazing . Definitely your to go pace to get some gifts to bring home .
Good place for kids to have fun for about 4 hours. Good indoors hangout place for winter and the drive from Philly is scenic.
Good variety in the food court and decent options for vegetarians as well.
Ride inside the store is informative. Otherwise it's more of a branding exercise by the company. Nevertheless a good experience
Great place to dump a lot of money. The free factory tour is a dated cheesy ride with singing cows (similar to an Epcot center ride). Its just a gimmick to get you in for the expensive interactive experiences. The place was very crowded with people wanting to empty their wallets. I couldn't change my mind without bumping into someone. The chocolate they are peddling here is all made in Mexico (maybe they should move the tour there too). Its just as fresh as the stuff at the corner gas station. I did find some yummy macadamia nut Hershey Kisses though. $4 a bag vs $2.50 at Walmart.
No matter how many times you come here, it's always a good time.
