This is a great place to come and bring the family. It is completely free to visit and to park (for the first 3 hours). There is some things that you would need to pay for while here (clothing, candy, souvenirs, food and drinks, ect.) but the overall experience is free for the tour ride and to walk around. Plenty to see and learn about chocolate making. Very packed with tourists unless you go during the time when Hersheypark is closed. Plenty of parking and public restrooms. Staff is friendly and it is very clean here.

We had a great time. The park is very clean, lots of shade, lots of restrooms. My kids, are 4 and 7 and there are plenty of rides for their age group. The only reason my review is not 5 stars is that we could not find any good dinner options in the park. We spent way too much on a cafeteria style meal. I would have preferred a sit down restaurant with a reasonably healthy menu.

We went to Hershey's Chocolate World and we liked it. It had good parking. It had a ride and you can get a free piece of candy when it is finished. We had a lot of fun. We ate food and got drinks and the food was good. The candy was good. The staff were nice and friendly. We will probably go back again when we go back to Pennsylvania.

Everyone should visit this place. The chocolate is amazing. Doesn't taste anything like the Hershey bars in the stores. The strawberry kit Kat is my absolute favorite and creating our own chocolate bar was really fun.

First of all, Hershey's Chocolate World is NOT a factory tour even though they want you to think of it that way. There is no factory here and Hershey's discontinued the real factory tour years ago. If you want to see how they make Peppermint Patty you would need to travel to Mexico where I believe they make them. With that said, its really a family fun place, a store and food court.

There is 1, and only 1, free activity called the Chocolate Tour. The line to the ride is a history of chocolate & Hershey. Read the walls and learn a lot! Then you take a 9 minute ride that talks about making chocolate, their brands and is very entertaining.

After the free ride you can purchase a candy making experience in a faux factory, watch a 4D movie, ride a Trolley and some other things. Or go shopping which is fun because they have all Hershey products and many in large sizes. I find the BULK boxes are actually cheaper than big box stores! There is a also a food court and I found most of the food is tasty; you can sit indoors or out. There are several pictures places and sometimes the Hershey characters walk around.

Be prepared! Chocolate World can get VERY crowded; especially when there are school trips. If you plan on doing several of the activities go directly to the booking desk. There are several options and I find them all pricey. Nonetheless, they sell fast and furious so get your credit card out.

PARKING: Be careful here. They very nicely give you 3 hours parking FREE! But go over that and you pay, go over 5 hours and its like $40 to prevent HersheyPark patrons from parking here! If you are gonna be here longer than 3 hours its almost worth it to leave the parking lot, go around and come back in for another 3 hours.

I highly recommend Chocolate World. I have been coming here for years in conjunction with going to HersheyPark. But its a destination all its own if you do all the activities. I have enjoyed the fun 4D movie but no other pay activities so I can't comment on them. So breath in the fake chocolate smell, walk around and grab yourself some chocolate!

What an enchanted place! It's like everyone's dream of you grew up obsessed with chocolate and the chocolate factory. Huge store with all kinds of Hershey stuff.
Amazing things to do, friendly stuff and they sure put a lot of effort into details and making sure that you have a great experience!
Prices are kind of high but I guess that's expected for a place like that one.

They falsely advertise the hot chocolate. It was not hot milk with melted chocolate bar in it. It was hot water and powder mix, the girl at the counter said it's all the same ingredients. NOT the same. And Not worth $5!

I am an Uber driver and if somebody asks the for a place to go I come up with chocolate world is the 1st place not only do they have wide variety of chocolate and candy products that you normally can't find in the stores it has lots of gift items that you can't find anywhere else very wide selection they also have a bakery in there that is top notch it is a little expensive but it is very good and worth the money

We have had so much fun here today. Our son and grandson have enjoyed the factory tour ride and making their own candy bar. We have seen such big smiles on their faces! Everyone here at Chocolate World has been so friendly and helpful.

The trolley ride and historic presentation by Kim was amazing, learned so much and found it to be fascinating about the trust and continuation of the Hershey schools for underprivileged! Corporate America today could learn so much from this business model!

Miss the old ride. Too much video projection on this version, and it broke down. Plus they now parade you thru the store before you can ride. It's ok, I just like the old ride more.

It has changed so much since I was little...the tour I mean. It was fun and all but I dont know...its just doesn't feel as magical...now it feels all corporate. It is a fun day though dont get me wrong.

Okay place to visit, I've always wanted to go so we made sure to visit I this last trip. There's a small free tour in a little ride with dancing cows. But, if you want to see the real factory you have to take a trolley and pay more money. There are four different tours and they all cost money. All this place is is a big candy store.

So very busy--seemed like utter chaos. At 7:45pm, food was dried and caked looking in serving lines while the lines for milkshakes exceeded a 30 minute wait. Also, the wait to take the tour was roughly 45 minutes. A mediocre experience overall.

Absolutely love hershey's chocolate world. But i only go for the free ride. Which since my childhood has been remondled. You can see they are trying to keep up with the technology by incorporating more of it into the tour. I personally think this place has gone way too money hungry. But hey thats business right. I just go there with the kids when we are bored. We did the 3d show once which was cute but not worth the money. Same goes for the make your own chocolate. I think this is another rip off and isnt really fun until maybe age 8....7 maybe. Any younger and they wont understand it. The trolley is one i would recommend going if you are into history but its over 45 minutes long so i dont recommend for kids that are young. Im surprised chocolate world doesnt have any other free things. But hey it is what it is.

It's chocolate world, I was excited to see the updated cars after seeing the updated ride on my previous visit. We make a point to stop by anytime we are in the area, since we've been visiting regularly for about 20 years now. It was very busy and it can be a little difficult to navigate the place when it's so busy, but overall they have done a lot of work to upgrade everything to move people through very effectively.

It was great in the past when you could go through the REAL factory. Instead we ride a load of bull tour of the *factory*. Personal I would not recommend this if you heard you could go through the factory. This is like one of those movies where a good memory becomes nothing but a mini mall/giftshop. Oh and if you want to waste your money on expensive items and tours that's not worth it, be my guest. My family and I wasted our time traveling from down south and could've spent more time back in Gettysburg.
