Nice free tour! Free Hershey bar to go with the tour.
The ride through the factory is so cute and educational. Yummy free candy at the end. Gift shops and food
Loved it here. The staff was awesome, very helpful and kind all around. The main area was easily navigable and, aside from the requisite price gouging that you find at any park if this nature, the whole experience was a lot of fun.
Also, it was clean, which I appreciated given the volume of human traffic.
Fantastic experience, fun for the whole family. Prices are very reasonable, especially when compared to the likes of Disney and such.
Such a fun store! Every kind of hershey candy, plus a make your own bar stand. Also an educational and fun tour of the 'factory' and an art gallery.
Free paring, a free tour, and free (fun size) chocolate make this a great rainy day activity with young children. It is a great place to visit during the fall through spring - it gets quite crowded during tourist season in the summer. We've never done any of the attractions that you have to pay money for - when my kids are older it might be worth trying them. My toddlers love the free tour, although having grown up here, I think it was much more authentic before the renovations - much of it is fake looking now. The gift shop is fun to explore as well.
Poor customer service @ Founders Way Famous Famiglia. Wayyyy tooo expensive for everything. The Days Inn in Lancaster, PA is the worst. Key cards wouldn't work. The attendant was being very difficult, rude and condescending .
Came as a part of the group with my children's school. May fun activities for both adults and kids. Create your own chocolate bar, customize label. Chocolate tasting, roller coasters nearby - separate attraction. Definitely worth visiting.
Such a fun and happy place. We only stopped on our way past Hershey. The tour about making chocolate is free and is fabulous. Some of the happiest little chocolate bars I ve ever seen. The only thing I d criticize is that the photos at the end of he tour are a little pricey and you can t just buy one. The gift shop is amazing and you won t leave without buying something. Totally worth a visit especially with kids.
Came on Fathers Day. The longest wait we had today was 10 minutes for the rides. My daughter was old enough to get on some of the larger rides with me. We had an awesome time!
Very tasty place! It's basically a big store with some attractions / rides. But, it was really fun. We participated in some research on a couple candies where they gave us one and asked us questions about it and then another, and we compared them, etc. The food court is expensive but boasts some unique food items like BBQ with a chocolate sauce, and the same with Pizza. There is a free ride which gives a virtual tour of the factory and chocolate making process. There was also a parade of characters based on Hershey products which would be fun for younger kids. They also have some amazing bakery items which we thoroughly enjoyed. The only problem is getting rid of the pounds I probably added after the visit!
Fun place to visit for a couple of hours. Chocolate tasting was fun and should be tried by first time visitors. Slightly overpriced
Pretty cool, lots and lots of chocolate (obvs). The Unwrapped part was a little pricey for what you're actually getting. I think it should have been priced around $10 or $11 for adults. It only involves going to 2 rooms and you don't get anything different from mini snack pieces. It was cool to do once, but I probably won't be back. The free chocolate tour had me expecting to see the actual factory, but it's a mini animatronic ride through a mock factory. Not what I was expecting but still very cute. The shopping part is HUGE and has a ton of different candies and Hershey merch. The food court is a little expensive but you get pretty good portions. Also, a lot of the food had chocolate incorporated in some manner ( I wasn't brave enough to try the chocolate dusted chicken strips). The surrounding community is beautifully maintained.I'm glad I got to go there, I was just expecting something a little more. Still had a fun time though. PS, the air outside did not smell like chocolate but the building kind of does
The crowds can be a little much, but this park packs a LOT into a small space. Multiple visits recommended. And it's Hershey; there's plenty to take in.
The kids and adults both will enjoy a trip to chocolate world.
Absolutely amazing place. Fun with great people working here. Loved it. Definitely will be back soon
It was ok,however it was extremely crowded, almost too much more than the park staff and the park itself could handle, making our stay uneasy, uncomfortable and hurried.we used to come more than several times a year, but lately we have gone elsewhere to avoid the hassle.recently the weekend we travelled the 1.5 hrs back to be extremely disappointed, aggravated to no end and eventually turned around after we found our way out only to go somewhere else in Lancaster, sorry the thumbs up we used to give are now turned down, sincerely, disappointed!
Great place for adults and kids. A lot of fun activities. Definitely worth checking out. The food is not that great, I would recommend just coming with hunger for sweets. Don t forget to have a s mores when you visit.
Absolutely love this place. Its my go to place for the kids when i kust wanna spend a little time and let them have some fun without spending alot of money. The tour ride is free and they always get a free piece of chocolate afterwards. Great food and lots and lots of Hershey products.
It was nice. My son has autism and is nonverbal, he enjoyed it very much.
Awesome place lots of cool things to do fun for all ages
Must visit place when in hershey. Not a real factory tour but the kids really enjoy it.
Only half the rides were operating which caused extremely long lines everywhere else. 9 hours and only 4 rides. Nice park and clean.
Very full hard to walk around but great experience.
Enjoyed myself first time going to hershey park it was fun.
We highly recommend this place..the trolley ride was very informative John the conductor, George the tour guide made the tour funny and fascinating.
So cool! Just going into the front is nice, as there's a free ride for the kids, shopping, and food. Parking is free if you're in and out within a certain time.
The line is deceiving. It wraps around three corners so you dont realize it's taking an hour to do the ride. Otherwise it was a fun experience.
Hershey's Chocolate World has been one of my favorite places across the state since I was young. Post Covid 19 I was pleasantly surprised by the ease of the changes implemented. I never felt it was dirty in there before but it's nice to see all the extra cleaning being done. Kudos for following guidelines and keeping the public safe, I'll be back several times this summer using my Hershey Park season pass.
Hershey's Chocolate World is always a pleasure to go to. What I love about this places that you can find Hershey products here that you don't find in regular stores. This year I found a cinnamon and a pumpkin Kit Kat. I definitely urge you to get those. They're both great to have during the holiday seasons what Thanksgiving and Christmas. If you're a chocolate lover and one explore different chocolates Hershey's Chocolate World is the place to be.
Loved the tour...didnt care about pushing kids selling you your picture for 35.00
The gift shop is really over priced!
We brought ANOTHER tour here! Trolley remains fantastic and candy bar making session is supreme. Definitely "the sweetest place on earth"! Thanks for having us again.
fun place for the kids and we had a great time , only negative and the reason why i removed one star is because of the fact that strollers arent allowed and we didnt find out they werent allowed until we walked all the way from the parking lot to the entrance where the sign was , this makes it hard for those with infants , my husband had to carry our 20lb baby the entire time being that he is only 8 months and doesnt walk yet and i also saw another dad struggling with the baby car seat all over there so they should find a way to accommodate the parents with infants that need strollers
So much to do and they have everything chocolate you could ever want.
Still fun after all these years but not quite as nostalgic after the remodel of the tour ride
Always love coming here, especially to the Chocolate Factory (the park is good to). I know Hershey just did a renovation, but, the Factory tour still seems dated, circa 1995 dated, needs a full overhaul to freshen it up to 2016 standard.
Must stop in Hershey! Lots of activities to do! Lots of candy to buy! Next door to Hershey Park.
It was fun to see the bwst bar made Hershey with Almond
Dont get me started on the chocolates!
I'm not gonna lie, the choclates that they give you freelt after the different events/activities are unbelieveably sweet compated to what you may find in say your regular corner store(my for ex.) The big sized bars though are pwrfecr not too sweet, i guess for everyone to love. The 4d movie was fun, staff was very funny and had everyone involved. That one ride tour of choclate making process was really nice and the Trolley tour was the best. The guides and scenery made it enjoyable. It's amazing how nice the area looked. I can say it was quite peaceful beside the hilarious guy who kept running off the bus( i wont spoil it, but you'll know d you go). If you have the chance I highly suggest raking the Trolley
This was an off-season order, about late January.
Uncle's 95th birthday. Ordered about $50 worth of goodies with the understanding of 1-3 day delivery promise.
This was a telephone order, not online. I placed my order Monday morning with the promise it would leave the warehouse on the noon shipment or no later than the 5 PM shipment. They suggested a higher-cost delivery method just to be certain it would arrive on time but, the store is only a few hours from his house and the need to pay more for 'faster' delivery was unnecessary.
I called Tuesday morning because I hadn't received an email confirmation as I was promised. I was told I didn't receive a confirmation because the product is still in the warehouse meaning they failed to meet two shipment departure times.
I immediately cancelled Hershey's order, called the local chocolate shop in their town who gift wrapped for free and delivered for a $4.00 fee. He received it in less than 2 hours.
Boom. Support your local businesses.
Leaving the parking lot after an event is atrocious. Plan to sit there for at least 30 mins before going anywhere.
Lost my phone there but chocolate straight out of heater 10/10
Family fun times...plan on spending some money on candy and other snacks! There is a free tour with a ride. Best advise is not to get caught up with all the "Pay to do and see" there, walk around first if its your first time and if it isn't, walk around again, they changed some things....Enjoy
Awesome place for the kids! Be sure to take the trolley ride if it's a nice day out.
Such a great family adventure. A fun ride giving a history of Hershey's chocolate or warch a 4D Chocolate Movie!! You can also enjoy a guided tasting and shop in the huge gift shop.
Cool place for kids and adults. Get there early to beat the crazy rush
Free 'tour' is awesome, it's actually a ride that wheels you gently around a simulated chocolate factory with animated characters and the sweet smell of chocolate. You get a free sample at the end. Other paid activities look interesting, I would like to try next time.
Great experience! Good selection of merch and a great breakfast with Santa!! Extremely friendly staff and very helpful! Jolly sweet time!!
Such a great, fun, family atmosphere!! The chocolate ride tour is awesome and free! My kids enjoyed making the create your own candy bars! Special needs families, they let us pay for our kiddos chocolate bar creations and receive free passes to enter with them! We weren't making bars but needed to assist them. They were very accommodating!
Great place to visit with children. I've been there many times while the weather was warm and always had a great time. I finally was able to make it for the "light show" for the Christmas holiday. Rides and food were very limited but the way they gave the park decorated with lights was beautiful. Don't forget to also the drive through light display that us only available by driving in your vehicle. This special area will take a out 20 minutes to drive through.
My first time there and I went to see Dylan Scott, it was incredible.
No matter how dismal Pennsylvania can get, Hershey World is an oasis of sugar comas and pleasant brain freeze at the worlds largest corporate visitors center. Don't bother with the free tour, just grab the ice cream and so much merchandise that you stimulate our economy for another year.
Always love going to Chocolate World. The kids and wife love picking up some chocolate. My daughter looks forward to making her own chocolate bar each year.
Had a good time, but would appreciate it more in nicer weather. Loved going on the mini ride that explains how they make chocolate. Kids & adults would LOVE it and it is free. Just have to be fast to get on and off. Awesome gift shop.
Had a blast it was so nice and fun and everyone that worked there was excellent even though the tickets salesman elder woman wasn't really that nice but she didn't stop the fun. Once I left her it was great.
Nothing better than a trip to chocolate world. The sweetest place on earth
Beautiful for kids and adults. It has been packed every time we have been here. It is worth it. 3 hr free parking. Chocolate world tour free. Pay for all other amenities. $$$
We love Hershey Park & Chocolate World! The Boardwalk water park is a must see in the summer when the heat is upon us. If you love roller coasters, you also won't be disappointed. Also, you won't want to miss the Fall park trick o' treat event and Christmas lights.
I love this place because Milton S. Hershey started it with his famous Hershey's chocolate.
Lots of neat Hershey stuff. I recommend stopping here before the park opens and going on the free ride. It was a fun way to start the trip to Hershey Park!
Educational ride and lots of chocolate & gifts in a large gift shop
Good free tour and discounts candy!! we had zero waits for the free tour, but other items did have some waits after getting tickets. If you are in the area, imo stop by, and you can say you did it.
Fun atmosphere. The free "chocolate factory" ride is a must if you have kids. The broccoli soup and chilli bread bowls in the cafe area are good choices on cold days. Staff is cordial. The only negative, everything is way overpriced.
