I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Took an hour and a half to get in, 45 minutes driving around to find a place to park after waiting in line 45 minutes just to get into the parking lot.

They are severely understaffed, over capacity, overpriced, and none of the employees (all very young kids, no management or adults to be seen) seemed to want to help anyone.

I stood in line for an hour to get an overpriced sandwich and salad. They had no forks anywhere, and it took speaking to five different employees before they finally restocked them.

We were expecting something a little more Willy Wonka-ish, but instead it's just a giant overpriced gift shop. All the candy and other items were marked up a LOT.

After seeing the line for checkout was four times longer than the line to get food, we decided not to buy anything and left.

Very disappointed.

I am 40 years old but felt like a 8 year old when I visited Hershey world. And yes I did make my own candy bar and take the tour. Very inexpensive and very family friendly environment. If you love chocolate this is a place you must see. Great experience

Love It

Parking is $30, then you have to buy tickets to do " chocolate experience" , which if you dont book ahead of time, could be sold out for hrs! A chocolate movie, and make your own bar, also cost extra and you need tickets.. All your favorites are there to purchase along with an awesome bakery and souvenirs. Very cute place , but you need to plan your trip or youll end up paying to walk in, buy stuff and leave.

Chocolate lovers rejoice for this is your holy land. So much to see, hear, smell and taste. The free tour is cute for all ages plus a free sweet treat at the end is a bonus. Try the chocolate tasting and you too can become a chocolate taster expert too. And if you want to just buy stuff, boy do they have you covered from memorabilia to you guessed it chocolate. Plus the bake shoppe has so many goodies like the picture I look. Something to do if not spending the day at the park, or to cap off the night after the park.

Hershey's Chocolate World is a very large gift shop filled with all sort of Hershey branded merchandise. Obviously, there are other activities to do at the Chocolate World, but everything besides shopping costs additional fees. Given that I'm a huge Reese's fan, I was quite impressed by the huge area occupied by solely Reese's merchandise. Needless to say, I ended up spending way more money buying Hershey swags than I should. I didn't buy as much chocolate since most of the consumable products can be found at your local grocery store and cargo space is precious during vacation travels. I was slightly disappointed that there wasn't as much location specific merchandise in the store, but overall, it was a great experience visiting this giant gift shop outside Hershey Park.

Would recommend going during the week over the winter months (check hours). No parking fees, no admission and less crowds. Had a great time. Items not overly priced and must try the peanut butter chocolate milkshakes.

We always take our visitors here because it's a great tourist destination. There are a few free things that you can do but we've also splurged on some of the activities. If you don't know much about the history of the Hershey's, the trolley ride is a great place to hear it. We recently took the longer historical tour and loved it. The shorter tour is more entertaining for kids. Candy in the retail store is usually more expensive than picking it up at your local grocery but you can only find some of the branded merchandise there.

Fun. Did the trolley ride. Bought the #1 package that included a dinner or lunch.
Needs more seating for elderly and disabled folks not using wheelchairs.
They do rent wheelchairs.
But you leave your baby buggy outside. Please do yourself a favor and get a wearable baby carrier. Your arms and hips will thank you.

Very nice place.. merchandise would have thought would have been a bit cheaper, but had good deals on some things. Only complaint, it seemed every employee was rude. Went with 3 other people and we each had our own experience with rudeness. The people selling the tickets to the experiences were the ones who were very nice.

Prices keep going up, although the factory tour is still free it keeps getting more "screen" less factory. We go mainly for nostalgia, as they've also discontinued some of my favorite chocolate products. Expect a crowd. Good for little kids.

All attractions were great , fun for all ages. One part of the family could not come Friday and Saturday so they missed the trolley ride very disappointed it did not not run during the week for kids entertainment. Something should be worked out. Santa was only there in PM hours. It is Christmas time. Work it out Hershey! We paid allot of money and spent alot to be there. But it was all great and fun.

Hershey's Chocolate World offers great prices on all of their products, it also is a very fun experience within the store. Hershey's Chocolate World also offers multiple places to dine in or get a Hershey's style snack.

This place is every chocolate lover's dream! I wanted to visit this place since the day i watched Charlie and the chocolate factory. Quiet Crowded even on weekdays, they have a nice tour on the process of chocolate making, a huge chocolate store and you can even make your own candy! I was buying almost 20 packets of chocolate and everyone was eyeing me :) You can try their desserts and milkshakes as well.
