Lines were moderate for the ride but they didn't take longer than 25 minutes. Ride was was slow and nothing a 3 year old can handle, you also get a free chocolate at the end of the ride. I will recommend to get Hershey's milkshakes, they are certainly the best!

This is fun place to take your kids. We had good fun with my family and in laws..we enjoyed eating ice cream inside the factory. The free chocolate factor tour ride along with my baby in car was amazing....and good stuff to learn how chocolates are made..

After spending nearly 30 mims waiting in line for milkshakes which everyone was looking forward too after a long hot day inside the park. We finally receive our 40 dollar milkshake order and one of them was accidentally knocked over on the counter. The lady making the shakes in the back scoffs and is annoyed when my husband says there is a mess and no one offers to replace the milkshake spilled before it even left the countertop. That is terrible customer service for a place that claims to be the "happiest place on earth."

The sweetest place on earth. Free parking for Chocolate World. Must pay if you go into park for rides. Handicap parking and spaces. Large parking area. Wheelchair accessible with clean restrooms and stalls. No charge to enter Chocolate World. Very friendly staff. Customer service center. Large selection of Hershey candy snacks and candies. Ice cream stand. Many suvineer clothing articles, toys, and personal items. Snack and food stand. Free tour to learn story of the creator of chocolate Milton Hershey. Learn of his rise to prominence and the creation of the park and factory. Free ride to see how chocolate is made from raw materials, packaging, and distribution as Hershey Candies. Great day trip for kids or a date.
Close to mall, places to eat, and a brewery.
My family goes here often.

Over priced chocolate, large variety though, not a factory tour, a free ride that is like a slow Disney ride with information and screens and displays. NOT a tour of the factory! When you walk up the steps after the ride, if you don't want to spend $35 plus tax on a photo of yourself, when they hand the book to you just hand it back, it is NOT free.

My girlfriend and I had a great time here. She had wanted to take this tour for a very long time and we finally managed to get there. The staff was very nice and friendly, the tour was a lot of fun and even the gift shop was a kick and offered some very interesting items along with the ones which you you would generally expect.

Customer service is 5 star with their hospitality. However the prices and subliminal messaging with their 4d movie get 1 star. Overall a 4 star just for the parking gaurd dropping everything just to make our day.

We came in the off season just for the gift shop/tour, both of which were fantastic. Unfortunately, the build your own candy bar experience was very disappointing. My kids were expecting more options. You're essential creating a custom Hershey bar, not your own candybar. Overall worth the trip, I just don't recommend the cand bar builder.

Growing up in Hershey, Chocolate World has always been a staple of the community. And the enhancements they ve made to the visitors center is considerable. Do the ride. Get the free chocolate. It s a great place to visit.

PRO TIP: to NOT pay for parking, tell the attendant that you are just going to Chocolate World, and they will waive the $15 parking fee and place you in the sand lot as HERSHEYPARK. Use this information as you may.

Family oriented with fun rides and games. The food is great. A great variety of candy that are very reasonable. The people that work there are very nice.

Visited in January 2019. They do a great job with chocolate-related activities, such as a tasting class and a make-your-own-candy-bar section. It's mostly a giant gift shop with stuff to do. The factory "tour" is not a tour, but a ride, though still good for some fun.

All the chocolate you could ask for. The ride is free and great for everyone. Can get incredibly busy during the holidays and summer season. Line tends to move pretty fast and is a nice way to start or end your day at the park.

This place is fun. You get to explore all the different candies they have. They also sell clothing and different things like blankets and pillows. You can also get milkshakes or cookies. Then they have a ride that teaches you how they make the chocolate.

Such a fun and beautiful place to go to! Especially now during the holidays. They have a huge home built entirely out of chocolate and their milkshakes are amazing. Seems like you can go at anytime with how open the hours are. They have plenty of attractions that are fun for everyone but slightly overpriced. Overall, a great spot for everything chocolate!

I have been going to hershey park almost annually for the last 20 years. Chocolate world has changed alot. The line for the free ride is VERY DECEPTIVE. We stood in what appeared to be a short line only to emerge into another room that appeared to be just a while longer only to emerge into another room with a huge snaking line. By the time you've waited that long there are so many people behind you that you cant even turn around and get off if you want to. We waited a total of over 45 minutes and never would've wasted that much time had we not gotten trapped in line.
The ride has changed alot as well. They are relying heavily on visual effects such as projectors where before there was lots of mechanized machines showing how chocolate was made. Could also do without the huge singing collage of instagram photos at the end of the ride. I did not wait nearly an hour to stare at other people's social media shots. The only bright spot was the very happy and polite young man at the end of the ride who had down's syndrome handing out chocolate samples. He was a joy, the rest of the ride was a letdown.

Worth to visit with kids during weekends. Explaining the making of chocolate as a free tour is awesome. Factory visit will need a pass . Felt the price of clothes little high. I got kisses engraved coins(copper) as a memory for 51 cents. All you will get is sweets, lots n lots of chocolate varieties. For first three hours, the parking is free. After 3 to 5hrs they charge $15.00.

Finding general parking with GPS is a nightmare, lot attendant's don't direct you where to part and it's an overall mess for 15.00. After you park and make your way into the park enjoy women in men's restrooms due to the long lines and 24.00 pizza's. Loved this place as a kid but it's just a joke now....they just want your money.
