Had a good time there. The lines at times were long but they kept it moving. The prices were a little high but reasonable. All in all good tour to take. Tip though if you want to book something other then the tour do it early the sell out quick.

My family and I loved visiting Hershey World! We made our own candy bar, road the trolley, chocolate tasting, and the 4D movie. My major complaint is that you are scheduled for each of these activities and the woman who sold us our tickets did not give us enough time to enjoy what we were doing because we were rushed to get it done and move on to the next event. It was very stressful! Make sure that you pay attention to the price tags on the shelves in the store because nothing is priced correctly.
Overpriced merchandise, but that's to be expected with any tourist attraction, and admission is free! It's a must-see for people visiting PA, and a perfect place to stock up on some sweets.
This is so much fun and a great place to being the family. There's stuff to do at all ages! There are roller coasters and kiddie rides. There's also a ton of ... You guessed it! CHOCOLATE!!!
Very crowded and expensive options for entertainment. The free tour was nothing too exciting as most if not all exhibits were not real. Was very disappointed when we got our kids tickets to build your own candy bar only to find out that parents can't watch without buying a full price ticket. Found out after that there are windows where you could have watched from the outside which would have been a better option if the staff had told us...
I went on a very cool tour of the factory that showed how the chocolate was made. The staff that run the factory are very kind and helpful. After the tour, I bought a ton of chocolate from the gigantic store. They are much cheaper than buying it elsewhere.
The movie 4d was ok nothing like the old one. Didn't like that only some kids where involved and some kids got the streamers at the end. That was pretty horrible. Also I am handicapped they made me walk all the way up and around hallways instead of taking me thru the back that was very difficult. So far not impressed with this trip at all. Next year definetly headed back to Dollywood.
It was a nice experience except for a few of the employees first the girl at the ticket desk couldn't help herself in complaining how much she hated chocolate I didn't think much of that next was the cookie shop girl complaining about how much walking there is to do and she hated the park. To top it off we spent almost $400.00 on candy and products and was told (very rudely I might add) we couldn't take the buggy out of the store to get our stuff to the car. And that there are no employees to help! So we have to make a couple of trips in the rain to the car. By the way I asked her if anyone could help the answer was no and when I said what if someone could not make it the answer was tuff luck!
A Lot of of things to do, not exorbitantly priced, but they do try to do a lot of upselling. The factory tour is free. The rest costs to to $40 for all four attractions.
Nice place to visit after spending a lot of time at Hershey Park. Contains a Hershey shop to get candy and collectables as well as above ride to give you an overview of the chocolate making process. Other shows and items are available but at a cost. Chocolate making ride is free to the public.
Wonderful place to visit, rest in the AC and maybe hit the restaurants.
With Covid, the require a free reservation and take temperatures before you enter.
In two words RIP OFF!! No smiling faces. At Chocolate World or in town of Hershey with the exception of the great Italian restaurant we ate at. Everyone at CW appeared to be mad we came. The making of your own candy bar was a joke. After being adorned in apron and hairnet and a special net around my husband's beard, we watched candy bars coming down conveyor belts behind glass. $20.00 a pop. Would not recommend this. Just take your money to local store where people are pleased to see you and purchase a box of candy bars.
7-21-2018 Parking is a nightmare - not only getting in but getting out of the parking lot took about 30 min. The Chocolate World facility is disorganized, chaotic, and as crowded as Times Square on New Year s Eve. It s difficult to tell where lines begin or end, especially for the main attraction. There were several employees, I suppose to help patrons in and out of ride cars, but about half of them were in a group engrossed in conversation while several ride cars went by unfilled. Also, there are several ride cars that have signs that say Do Not Use. Same goes for the awkwardly positioned and designed food court with not nearly enough seating. People were lined up against walls with their children eating on the filthy floor. As soon as we got inside, we discussed leaving. We should have.
This is a great place to buy a lot of chocolate for a cheap amount also. It is a great place for a family to go to. It's usually a one day type trip, just for doing chocolate world but there is an outlet nearby so you could do that after chocolate world.
I have always loved the Chocolate ride at Hershey's Chocolate World. Its great to go with my own family now, but it amazes me how commercial the whole place has become.
Please heed the advice they part online, BUY TICKETS AHEAD OF TIME. Everything we wanted to do was sold out til 5 hours later, and that would have cost us $40 in parking. (The first 3 hours are free then prices shoot up quite rapidly). Being a Saturday and peek season it was tremendously busy inside anyway, and then it stormed. People surged into the inside from the park and it was jam packed. I'm not really sure the solution to that, but it was too much. Staff was generally friendly. Just make sure you really plan your trip ahead of time and definitely buy tickets ahead!
Came with my with to look at chocolate and instead did a February Journey tour. This included sampling of speciality treats like: chocolate cheesecake, chocolate lava cupcake, chocolate cherry sandwich, Reese peanut Thai soup, red velvet kit kat cupcake and chocolate cherry milkshake. If you re in the area, this is worth the visit. All of this was 2 for $20 and a half hour of your time. And an added bonus is that this is the headquarter for Hersey s and there s lots to choose from.
The ride is worth the visit. And it s free! The food and Hershey chocolates are also wonderful. Construction now (March) does not detract from the visit
Took my Daughter and Wife here. We loved it and the experiences were amazing. If you can do any experience make the chocolate bar. It was our favorite experience.
It's been about 5 years since we were last here, a lot of changes for the better! I especially liked the separate lines to refill the souvenir cup! We're already planning to come back next year, but going to do 2 days, 1 day isn't enough!
Great place to visit. Prepare to be overwhelmed with the smell of chocolate when you open the door and get your wallet ready. You'll want to spend a lot!
Great fun. The only complaint we had was the long line at Reeses Cupfusion, their new ride. If you like water rides, save Tidal Force for last. You will get soaked!
