We had a wonderful stay on Valentine's weekend. The service was impeccable, and the hotel and grounds were beautiful. There were fun things to do and we enjoyed the bar and shops. Perfect place for a sweet getaway!

Just checked in and we have been driving so we didn't have breakfast. We asked at the front desk where we could eat a late breakfast or early lunch. She mentioned the harvest at the back of the hotel grounds. We walk out there only to find they are closed for another hour or so. We checked the other 2 restaurants. All closed for at least another hour. Kid and husband are melting down. We go back to the front lobby to find the only place open to eat is the coffee shop not 10 feet from the front desk. Very annoyed. Be better informed so you can be informative. Hopefully the rest of the stay is better.
Ps: we ordered lunch from the pool while we were down there.
Later update:
The rest of our stay was wonderful. Lots of activities and good food (once we got into the restaurants) I had complained to the front desk about the run around with the restaurants. After our check out, we received a phone call from the front desk apologizing for the issues upon arrival and asked to take care of the pool dining bill, to make up for the stress they caused. Very generous and kind of them. Good customer service after all.

Amazing service!!! We will go here again! We were here for a wedding now we want to go just for fun. Beautiful place! Probably the best hotel you will ever find in Pennsylvania. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and the ambiance is gorgeous. Definitely worth your time

We love the Hotel Hershey. We started visiting several times a year a few years ago for my birthday weekend which always corresponds with Hersheypark in the Dark for Halloween. My son loves this tradition so much he told me this year that going to Hershey is better than Disney World! The staff at the Hotel are beyond friendly and attentive. And there are a ton of kids activities. I've heard people say that the Hershey Lodge is better for guests with kids. We've stayed at both and while we enjoy the Lodge, I find the family friendly offerings at the Hotel to be superior to the Lodge.

I loved this hotel, absolutely beautiful and the service was excellent! We hung out in the evening and listened to jazz in the courtyard... So much fun. Absolutely loved the hotel room! The food available was all amazing!!

We stayed here for our first respite during COVID and it didn't disappoint. A short drive from NYC, we wanted to stay somewhere that was a child-friendly destination with activities. We opted for a cottage room at the Hotel Hershey, in order to avoid the elevators and too many people. Although pricey, it's totally worth it - it comes with a huge bathroom, a private entrance and porch, and a big room which is beautiful. There is no room service now, which I actually preferred, because we didn't have to put all our stuff away for daily cleaning. We used both the indoor and outdoor pools, and were very satisfied with the cleaning protocols. Staff was super attentive and friendly. If you have children, I recommend this hotel highly - it has beautiful grounds for exploration, a large outdoor sports complex, they hand out Hershey s Bars during check-in, there is a market store for grab-n-go food, and the best of all onsite S mores! My daughter was over the moon when she found out she could make her own s mores outdoors in a campfire . Also, we dined at the onsite Trevi restaurant for one night and loved it. My only criticism is that Wifi is quite sketchy in the cottages, but there was an electrical storm the day we arrived, so it could be due to that. Also, our AC stopped working one night, but the hotel sent a friendly female engineer in who took care of the problem straightaway. All in all, a fab short break with something for everyone, providing the much-needed R&R during this interesting year.

I've attended many meetings here, as well as social gatherings and visiting the restaurants and lounge. The staff are great, and it's a beautiful building. Visit if only to walk around the building and back garden, and to see the view of Hershey from the balcony. The food and drinks can be a little pricey, but are still highly recommended.

Incredibly nice hotel and conference area. Was there for a birthday party in one of their many conference or party rooms. It's directly across from Hershey park. You can hear people on the rides easily. It's beautifully presented up on a big hill and has lots of parking. Lots of food food too.

It you like being treated with old time grace and style but want all the modern amenities this is the place for you. With every visit I find something new. Don't miss the butterfly avirary and the rose gardens. Even in the winter.

Worked an event at the hotel. The Elegance at Hershey. It was a great car show, despite it getting rained out. The Antique automobile club of america is a great organization and the library is great too.

Lovely atmosphere and very family friendly. Close to all Hershey attractions. My kids and I stopped for dessert after spending some time at the Butterfly pavilion and before heading to the Hershey's Chocolate World. It was a nice break and the coffee, snacks, and dessert by the fireplace surely recharged us.

This hotel has fantastic service, clean rooms, and great food. I like the fact that the menus are vegetarian friendly, with a decent variety. The grounds are meticulously kept, and gorgeous.

We had the couple's massage and made use of the facilities prior to the appointment. The different rooms were great, but wish there was a sauna that could be enjoyed with my SO. The chocolate kiss muffins were a nice treat. The massage was nice but the price reflected the quality of the hotel rather than the massage. Would come back for a special occasion.

I normaly visit the hotel during the off seasons really not into the big crowds. My experiences has always been wonderful. The staff treats you with respect, not trained respect ,but human respect. The hotel is always clean , and there is always pleasant atmosphere, as if they really enjoy you being there . The food is good and service is excellent. Thanks Hershey.

If leaving no stars were an option, I'd do so in an instant. We've spent 10's thousands of dollars with the Hershey hospitality group over the last decade and never felt more disrespected. The Hotel Hershey is perhaps the biggest culprit in the whole system. Milton must be rolling over in his grave!

We came to Jazz on the Veranda August 10th and it was packed. We couldn't get a table for food service and we were pretty disappointed. We found lounge chairs on the end, but were told we cannot get food service where we were sitting. However after talking to the one of the managers, Aaron Cheney he went out of his way to make our experience here perfect. He personally brought us the menu and our food and made it a point to continuously check on us throughout the evening. 5+stars for Aaron and the Hotel for making this night awesome for our entire family!

It is a very beautiful place, with beautiful grounds around it that overlook the town of Hershey and Hershey Park. The food was wonderful and a great selection. The service was excellent. The perfect place to take someone for a very special occasion.

We got recommended to go from a friend, even though we have visited ourselves quite a few times in the past. I love the Hotel Hershey, it is always a plus when visiting hershey park. The service, rooms, pool, food was all excellent. We already booked to visit in December for the Christmas time!

The Hotel Hershey has a very nice and classic look perched on a hill overlooking Hershey Park. The gardens are beautifully kept. The hotel itself has a pretty dated feel, particularly the normal rooms. The staff was mostly great, however.

The hotel Hershey was an amazing place to stay while visiting the attractions in the area. The resorts restaurants had the best food, and we appreciated the adults only section of the pool. Only complaint was our room was right above the loading dock so we were woken up early in the morning when trucks came in.

We went to the Italian restaurant in the hotel, and had the most rude waitress. As a result, our experience was horrible. The manager apologized profusely and tried to make amends, but the damage was all ready done.

Everything was beautiful and staff was very nice. We stayed one night and did the spa and stay package. The spa I had Chris whom who very knowledgable and accommodated my wants with sore spots. My husband had nancy and was very happy with her for the cocoa massage. The beverages and snacks in the quiet rooms were very nice.

Only complaint was that the room was right next to the elevator so all night the bell was loud.

But...the rooms were gorgeous. The bed was the comphiest I've ever had and not those cheap soft thin pillows, these were very nice. The soaps and coffee maker was perfect touch. When you checked in they gave you chocolate bars. The different themed restaurants were a nice touch in case you didnt want something, you could pick another place. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Personal preference is I would have liked a more chocolate smell and a more updated modern look, but that's just me. Thank you for everything.

Based on last year's wonderful stay, we requested the same room several months ago. While it was in their system, when we arrived not only was it not available but the room we got wasn't ready until 4:30. They did put us in a somewhat similar room but that could only be given for the first two days then we had to switch mid-stay. Not ideal having to unpack, pack, unpack with several kids.

The food here is good and the pool and slides are fun. Great pool for little kids since it has a zero entry setup.

Wish the putting green fees were included in the hotel stay, but that is not the case.

At this point we're undecided as to whether we'd stay here again or the Lodge.

A very elegant hotel located right across from the theme park. Super friendly and helpful staff. It has a lovely garden, and there is also a huge rose garden / butterfly atrium within walking distance (for an additional cost)

I had an appointment at the Spa at Hotel Hershey. The spa is tucked away on the side of the hotel, and has a parking lot right in front of the entry. I found a space right away. The spa was lovely, and the staff was very helpful. They were attentive, and it was easy to find someone of you had a question. While waiting you're provided with drinks and snacks. Best hot chocolate I've ever had! The lady who provided my service was kind and knowledgeable, and I really enjoyed my experience.

The Hotel Hershey is located at the top of a hill overlooking Hershey Park. Great view and location. The hotel looks like an older charming hotel on the outside, but the inside is well updated and current. What was really impressive, the hotel grounds. Pool with slides, kids clubhouse. Lit basketball, tennis, and sand volleyball courts. Very well maintained grounds as well. Very nice hotel.

I recently contacted the hotel because I was made aware that a person under 21 was not allowed to check in by themselves, and I thought this was strange since every other hotel I stayed at has been over 18. I wanted to know why this specific policy was in place. After being told it was due to them serving alcohol, I inquired as to if they carded when they served alcohol or not, because if they did I did not understand why it mattered whether the person checking in was 18 or 21 because they would not be served alcohol. I was not trying to pick a fight or argue with the manager I just wanted to understand the policy. At this point the manager could not have made it more clear that he was done with our conversation and stated "I have another call on the line." There was no need to be rude and rush me off the phone when I was just trying to get some information.

This is what I have deduced from the 20-plus years that I have known this area and visited this hotel on multiple occasions. Several pros and cons:

This establishment has always been self-inflated in their high view of themselves, but the surrounding trees and rolling mountain views are pretty, they take great pride in the interior design and artistic flare, many locals choose to use the venue for memorable social events, and their Spa is an exciting and restorative experience.

Overall it is overpriced for what you receive but it is inevitably an enjoyable time for tourists and it can be a place to commemorate key events.

Pros- great shops and great service. Shuttle takes you to the park and back. Amazing food.
Cons- the indoor pool was closed when a thunderstorm was outside. People on my floor slam doors and scream in the hallway.

My wife and I love this hotel and usually stay at least once per year. Some good things for our grandchildren also. It reminds us of what hotels should be with a friendly welcome a great stay and a warm goodbye. Rooms in good shape and several options for food. Stay here and you will not regret it.
