Views are wonderful and I love all the attractions...
Views are wonderful and I love all the attractions available, but disappointed in the small rooms for the price. Staff were great.

Stayed for a night. Loved our time there. The welcome, even how they "tuck you in" at night, all nice touches.
The hotel and staff were nice and location convenient. Free wifi and a chocolate bar on check-in. The very convenient shuttle brought us to and from the park--we never waited for more than 10 minutes either way. The view from the room was nice but slightly obstructed by parts of the building in our case (on the 4th floor). My only real complaint is that the elevator is ridiculously slow, there was only one that I saw (at least on that wing of the building), and the stairs were somewhat not straightforward. Separate stairwells for floors 1-2 and 2-4 made going up and down somewhat annoying.
This is not your typical generic 5-star hotel. The Hotel Hershey is a historic building and well decorated. We enjoyed the pool and the atrium area. The rooms are posh and feature an elegant feel.
Excellent experience from the first step through the doors.
Definitely a 5 star hotel. From check in to check out, it was a great experience!! Excellent food, excellent service and the entire staff is friendly and willing to assist!!
Absolutely beautiful inside. Friendly, helpful staff. Went there for Trevi's restaurant. Amazing food! Waitstaff were excellent!!!
We had a wonderful time at the Hotel Hershey. It is a great way to spend New Year's Eve. There were several different events we chose the family oriented dinner banquet and dance. We would highly recommend it to anyone else
Very expensive.very beautifully decorated for Christmas.food was very delicious however the man at the buffet directing you where to go in the hot food line was not very nice.could of done without him.
High up on top of a hill The Hotel Hershey does not disappoint. Views of the amusement park and surrounding countryside are not found in many places. Make sure to catch breakfast in the main dining room which looks out on the grounds and fish ponds that have been maticulasly maintained. Staff are friendly and very helpful.
This is the premiere location to stay in Hershey. If you want the best accommodations, food and services this is the place.
A 4-star hotel that acts like a 6-star hotel. Wonderful and classy all around!
Beautiful historic hotel in Hershey, PA. The staff are extremely pleasant and accommodating. The Harvest restaurant was excellent. I highly reccomend the chocolate martinis. The entire layout of the hotel is stunning. Obviously this is not a cheap/budget type of hotel, no but if you are looking to splurge a bit, this is a fine place to do so.
Fun to stay a few days. Wouldn't advise staying more than a week. Lots to do at the parks around the hotel but inside it can be boring.
What a wonderful place! The atmosphere here has a certain sense of magic to it. The staff is so warm and welcoming. They get customer service right! This place is a gem. Truly a world class hotel. The rooms are immaculate, luxurious and spacious. The gardens that surround the hotel are very well kept and beautiful. It is on the pricey side of things but that is what one would expect for a luxury. There is a reason this place is famous! Check it out!
This is the only place I know in Dauphin county Pa to purchase CHOCOLATE COFFEE! I do the Perculator Dance every morning that I make this. Please visit the cafe to purchase yours
Amazing food at the various restaurants. Not that long of a wait, amazing atmosphere and often has cool events going on. Great hotel as well
Beautiful place! Love coming back year after year! Rooms are nice sized and comfortable.
Awesome atmosphere. Hotel California! The restaurant is awesome too. Great food, any season. The rooms may a little small, but the general courtesy of the staff more than makles up for that. I would definitely recommend it.
It's like a castle! Beautiful rooms, restaurants, and restaurants! It's worth it to stay here for the customer service alone.
We love it there .. but its v confusing .. don't get a room on 3 rd floor until e elevator is fixed.
Just gorgeous and very relaxing inviting atmosphere. Great picture areas
This is not a hotel to go on a busy holiday weekend such as the Memorial Day. They book you to an inappropriate room (room for 3 though wee are 4) just to sell all their rooms. They tried to fix it, but it meant checking in and out during one stay. Also, the breakfast is first come first serve. That means you can pay $700 for the night and still be asked to wait 40 minutes for breakfast just because they accept reservations FROM PEOPLE OUTSIDE THE HOTEL. It really feels that it's all about. the money.
I can't rate the actual hotel as I've never stayed there. But I've done several photo shoots out behind the hotel & it's beautiful. Fountains, white pillars, plants, etc.
Staff was professional, polite, and very helpful. Short stay but earned a 5 star for this trip!
Beautiful grounds and great service. The pool area is amazing, great for kids. Close to lots of stuff to do. Not sure how romantic it if for couples but great place for families.
Iberian lounge is beautiful and the drinks are delicious!
First class all the way around, just a great experience - Highly recommended!
All the staff I ran into at the hotel were very nice and helpful. The hotel had a lot of dining options. They also have a preview night of the park and shuttles to and from there. It was overall a wonderful trip.
We enjoyed a great weekend here with the kids. We stayed in one of the cottages and had lots of space. The staff are all very friendly. Highly recommend this hotel if you're visiting Hershey.
Beautiful hotel with shopping, pool, spa, and restaurant inside. Spa is lovely with friendly staff.
PLEASE READ TILL END! Don t be fooled by the fancy decor and friendly smiles. They will charge you additional mandatory $200.00 upon check-In for possible incidentals. Air conditioning in rooms severely antiquated poor temp control. No microwave in room, upon request only. First INCIDENT while getting our food at Circle Breakfast, a young child sat at our table and drank our orange juice, second incident, after being asked if we wanted coffee our waitress disappeared for 10 minutes . We also had a empty creamer on our table. When our waitress decided to reappear, she promptly took a half used creamer from a used/filthy uncleaned table behind us that a family with young children just got up from AND SHE PLACED THE FILTHY CREAMER ON OUR TABLE AND EXPECTED US TO FINISH USING IT!!! Are you KIDDING ME! Clear PA Department of Health Violation. Eat here and don t be surprised if you get sick. Third incident, while at dinner at Trevia restaurant in hotel, we skipped entrees because appetizers were so bad and poorly described on menu, we had to send one back. The one we ate was disgusting. Good Luck, never going back!
Absolutely beautiful! The staff is highly trained and polite, very helpful. Fantastic food.
They have amazing drinks and a beautiful scenery. This is also where my amazing fiance proposed to me last year. Their food and service is top notch! The stay here is also amazing with complementary robes that are super soft and comfy.
Fabulous dining, great rooms and friendly staff. A true historic place that is well maintained and kept modern within the appropriate context. I try to stay here whenever I am in town. I recommend everyone else do the same.
Stood here about 10 years ago for a spa retreat for my mother's birthday. Still can't get over the horrible experience. Staff was very cold and unfriendly and we were interupted in the evening with hotel security while in our PJ's getting ready for bed because of a noise complaint. They never took the time to investigate further or if it had been coming from another room. We were just kicked out. The security stood in the doorway giving us no privacy to get dressed. We were scared and I felt so bad for my mother. I will never get over that traumatizing experience on the way we were treated. Never felt targeted in my life until this hotel.
Great accommodations, the grounds are truly amazing. The staff was above and beyond
The entire facility's staff is very friendly and puts their best foot forward to make us feel special when we stay here. This has resulted in Hotel Hershey being our go-to spot for our anniversary getaway.
A beautiful, historic hotel right in the heart of Hershey. The staff is very friendly, the grounds are beautiful, and the rooms are comfortable. Our only regret is that we didn't have time to stay longer. If you're interested in the history of Hershey (the man, company, or community) this is the place to stay.
Just went to visit. Probably beautiful in the summer. Do not waste your money on the gardens. The butterfly room was great but the garden is really nothing.
The Hotel Hershey is our favorite destination get a way. I would like to give credit to one if their employees, Aleta Dubos in Customer Service. She has been very helpful and accommodating to us during our stay at the Hotel. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone. It is a wonderful resort.
Wow. You can come and get what you can get it from chocolate world. This hotel have almost same products. Nicer. Quieter. I visited both location on Memorial Weekend.
Spent an evening in upgraded suite. It was clean, comfortable and accommodating
Jonah was a great waiter. He stopped by frequently to check on us and was quite professional
Staff here is amazing. Every single one of them has gone out of their way to make us feel welcome and warm. The rooms are a bit small but well appointed, and besides the draw of this place is all of the things going on and places nearby to see. Absolutely wonderful place, you can see the history, craftsmanship, and dedication to hospitality in every square inch of this place. Beautiful!
I've grown up in the Harrisburg area and though I have never been a guest at the hotel I have played professionally as a musician for many years at the hotel in the Iberian Lounge and for other private events as recently as this past Friday. You can tell alot about a place when you are behind the scenes like I was. I know they take care of their staff not only because of their comments but by the shear evidence that many of them that were employed in the 1980's are still there today! You know the management cares for their "team members".
Awesome. They are very attentive to all details. Staff was very helpful, pleasant and eager to assist. Had a delightful diner at Trevi 5. Food was very good and server was excellent. It was a great choice for a quiet get away.
One of the best recommendations that I've received in a long while. Went to the Hershey hotel's The Circular for breakfast buffet. While more expensive, it is a wonderful location with top notch food and service. We went during a weekday and had no problems getting seated. Consider this one of the best places to go for a meal in the area.
The facility is very nice, the staff is very courteous and provide great service. The food is generally great (especially the desserts). I look forward to meetings at this facility.
What an absolutely wonderful experience! I booked a couples massage and from start to finish everything was perfect. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. The grounds of the hotel are amazing. The best part, CHOCOLATE EVERYWHERE!!
Stunning hotel down to the last detail. Staff was very attentive to our needs. Very CLEAN hotel! All the toiletries in the room were chocolate scented. The indoor and outdoor pool were beautiful and CLEAN. THe outdoor pool had plenty of shallow water areas which is ideal for small children and several attentive lifeguards. The outdoor pool also has a separated adult pool/hot tub area. Shuttles are available for free to the park and run ebery 10 minutes. There is also the hershey gardens with a butterfly museum within walking distance of the hotel, but the shuttle can take you there as well. The hotel is very fun for families. Highly recommend, we will be returning.
Nice atmosphere for an occasional special event. Upscale.
What a beautiful hotel. The staff was delightful and easy. The grounds and facilities were superb. We did the falconry experience and had a great time. Highly recommend!
I got the Rose garden hand treatment and the Rose garden for treatment. It was delightful. A morning of pampering and chocolate was exactly what I needed! The staff was courteous and very attentive. I highly recommend it.
It was incredible!!! The service was amazing and everyone there was so caring and sweet! I'm totally going back once I get my money!!
Wish I could give it a 2.5.
Pros: -the pool is great (if you can get in)
-the outside property is beautiful
Cons: - wait for pool
-dated rooms
- inability to get into any of the restaurants
- terrible room service food
I will say I understand that a few of my cons are due to corona capacity issues... however.... and a BIG however- our suite was $1600 a night. For $1600 a night I would expect to be able to get decent food at some point during our stay. Coming from Philly, the food we were able to experience was garbage. The room service was gross. We were dying to try a few of the restaurants and were unable to eat at any of them. Last night we were starving and went to McDonalds at 9:00pm due to not being able to get into any of the restaurants... (we don t even eat fast food usually ) they should do a better job making sure that people that are paying for suites are able to make reservations.
Pool wait- again- didn t spend $1600 a night to have to wait for the pool. The main reason we came here was to get away with our kids and enjoy the pool. We had to wait hours yesterday to get into the pool.
Room- meh. We are staying in one of the suites and it is just meh. Bathrooms very dated and not nice. Stains on bedding. DROP CEILING with stains (ew) just not worth $1600. Rooms need updates badly.
To leave on a positive note, if you can get to the pool it s great. I would recommend reserving a cabana to make sure you can get in. We learned that the hard way. Quick food at the pool isn t terrible. Much better than their room service!
I really enjoyed staying at the Hotel. It was my first time. I enjoyed the different shops in the Hotel. I spend too much. I enjoyed the spa in the hotel. The restaurants in the hotel was good also.
This place is spectacular. The design, artwork, gardens, views, it's amazing. The staff was so friendly from the second we walked in to eating in the circular lounge, to leaving. This is really a 7 star hotel and I hope to come back again when I'm in town.
Excellent food. Wish there was more on the plate though. Beautiful decor. If you're taking one of the buses to the Hershey Lodge, be prepared to wait a while
Great ambiance, good food. Love the free chocolate!
Restaurant staff was very friendly, hotel has a very appealing look to it. Food was good.
The rooms are insanely expensive. They're just regular hotel rooms. Every staff member was beyond friendly and amazing.
Was at Hotel Hershey for a meeting, very nice place; could use more signs/navigation help. Overall great place.
They maintain their Excellence of service in the food he's always been good.
I'm there for every event they have the food phenomenal the chocolate martini is the best I've ever had.
Very good and friendly service; lovely grounds and fountains; beautiful outdoor swim area with slides, though we didn't get an opportunity to spend time there; great indoor pool, too; shuttles to Hershey attractions were super convenient. Not cheap, but you get a good quality experience, and lots of advantages for visiting the park and other attractions, with plenty of other things to do at the hotel itself. Everything clean and we'll kept, including the room.
They put Disney to shame. Have been going there for over 20 years.
Wonderful venue for a wedding. The Hershey Gardens were beautiful. Stay away from the Harvest Inn restaurant, three people in our party got food poisoning.
Very nice hotel and good prices the people are great in sercice
Didn't stay but just exploring the hotel and the grounds was amazing.
While the staff was helpful / polite they were overly rigid in accommodating guests at the restaurant. When you book 3 rooms and spend several grand as a group it would be nice not to have to eat at Red Robin.
Horrible experience......Save your $500 a night stay! Room had peeling wall paper the tub was broken...the whole room smelled musty. After check in from our 7 hour drive went to our room changed to go to the pool. When we made our reservation they told us they weren't running at full capacity so it was first come first serve.....it was a 2 hour wait. When we finally got in with the kids to swim there were people running around with out face mask and drinking in the pool. The hotel seemed to be running at full capacity!!This definitely isn't the sweetest place on earth!!!
Absolutely amazing. Eleganant hotel with beautiful grounds. Every member of their staff goes out of their way to be welcoming and helpful. Spa is incredible and very classy. Can't wait to come back
I love to visit the hotel Hershey it is so beautiful inside and out. I visit the shops on the second floor and always get one of their famous cupcakes. Great place to relax.
Had late lunch at Harvest. The food was okay and the cocktails were average but uninspired. The service was very good. The reservation system is puzzling. We had a lunch reservation because they said dinner was unavailable. Judging by the number of empty tables during the early dinner service, invisible people really like the Harvest reataurant.
Dinner at the Circular was nice overall. I ordered the filet medium rare and it was a little tough and lacking in flavor. Not bad by any means, but I would've expected much better at the Circular.
Beautiful estate with an amazing view. Must try Trevi 5 dining on the veranda at dusk, or Harvest restaurant seating around the fire pit on a cool autumn evening. Beautiful view of the Blue Mountains.
Best hotel I ever stayed in. Very classy yet a sense of being at home. Always so comfortable and the amenities are superb if you get to take advantage of them. I stay here at least once a year. It's the reason I moved so close to Hershey.
One of the Best Historic Hotels in United States. Outstanding atmosphere. Beautiful views.
The veranda had a great view, and the hotel insides were very clean. I had a great time.
Beautiful hotel great fitness center and pool.
The butterfly conservatory is always a place to mellow out. A walk through the gardens is excellent! Hiking trails are moderate and scenic , also the yoga and movement meditation class are top level.
Beautiful hotel with variety of dining options. Outdoor pool and activity center with all the choices you want means we were next bored. Great staff always friendly service.
The staff is top knotch I can seriously say best customer service I have ever had!
Beautiful piece of property for all ages. Indoor and outdoor pool. Restaurants in hotel. Beautiful breakfast buffet.
The cottage room was excellent. The staff was helpful, and the food at The Harvest was very good. Very nice resort . No complaints. Hershey is always a good time.
I only went to play Disc golf and did not stay the night. The hotel staff was very friendly when asking questions. The disc Golf course is brand new and the area it was in was really well maintained. I would love to stay here eventually.
