Nice solo Getaway!
I wanted a nice relaxing place to de-stress and the Hotel Hershey and spa did not disappoint. The amusement park is not open during the week until memorial day so I was able to really enjoy the quiet. I got the breakaway package which included breakfast and dinner. I ate at Trevi5 (Italian) and the Circular Restaurant. I have no complaints about either one. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. The room I had was nice, clean and offered satellite tv . The staff were friendly polite and helpful. I really felt pampered while I was there. Upon check in you receive a complimentary ticket to the Hershey gardens and the museum. I was able to tear myself away from the spa and the free chocolate muffins long enough to visit the museum. It was really interesting to learn the Hershey history. I wish I could have stayed at the hotel longer. I will definitely go again when the amusement park closes in the fall.
Much nicer than the Lodge, as expected. All amenities and rooms were nicely kept and staff was pleasant. A bit too expensive for what you get in my opinion but overall nice.
I m very happy with my time at Hotel Hershey. I ve been to Hershey many times. I m here now for a business trip. I went in with lower expectations due to the hotel in the name. But this is really an amazing resort. The catered dinners and put together meeting spaces have made the business portion of the trip rewarding. There are many restaurant and food options. I m a pool operator and hotel pools are usually disgusting, but both the indoor and outdoor pools and spas seem to be clean and well-kept. The staff is super friendly; everyone says hello, smiles and looks pleasant. My room was very clean and well-put together. And room service stopped by multiple times per day to stock bathroom products, towels and/or clean up. Also the campus alone is very beautiful, big and fun! LOVE this place.
Beautiful place to visit or stay for top of the line service and ammenities!
Had a great time very relaxing and my chocolate facial was to die for
The room and hotel was great with many facilities. Very friendly staff.
Stayed for a total of 6 beautiful nights.
Second visit to the cabins this year. The staff continues to be the best!
BEAUTIFUL environment cant stess enough, a really great environment. Staff are so helpful and rooms are beautiful
Very nice hotel. Everyone on staff demonstrates courtesy and helpfulness. Food in each of the restaurants excellent.
From the moment we entered the property, an overwhelming sense prevailed that there is much more to this historic property than meets the eye. For starters, there are no greater views than those that can be found here. Secondly, the entire structure is built upon what feels like a giant hill that resembles a Hershey Kiss. Inside the hotel is more like being inside a home, or in this case, castle sized mansion exceptionally staffed with the finest people who appeared to have lived and worked there for most of their life. All the details were hand picked right down to each piece of fruit served at brunch. All in all, The Hershey Hotel just might be the sweetest place to stay in the world!
very disappointed. Got to the hotel for our anniversary and they couldn t find reservation for the spa and the anniversary wasn t added. We return to the room to get ready for dinner and find a huge bug on our bed. Didn t sleep a wink. Got a $100 credit. Really
Attended jazz on the veranda. A free event with live jazz music outside on the patio. Nice selection of drinks and food. Get there early if you want a table, it is always well attended.
Excellent service, very nice rooms. Very close to the park with great views of the surrounding areas. Nice restaurants with a good selection of food. 5/5
I absolutely love this place. Amazing place to relax and stop stressing about work. Has many good restaurants inside and great service and maids. I love to wind down with the fantastic desserts that they have in the shops downstairs. It has become a tradition to come here for the holidays. I always have a good time here. I 100% recommend this place for anyone. A little expensive but worth it.
The hotel is nice and convenient to all things Hershey. The staff is great. But, we had a poolside room. It smelled strongly of chlorine, but the worst part was that the room was super hot and humid. You wouldn't think that would be a problem on winter, but it was really miserable. We even tried turning on the AC but that seems to only work in summer. If I stay again, definitely getting a different room.
Friendly staff! Friendly atmosphere! If you love chocolate then you love HERSHEY
My husband brought me here for my 50th birthday and now for our 25th wedding anniversary. The staff was very generous and attuned to the fact that it was our anniversary and recognized us in such a generous, thoughtful way. We never tire of coming, nor have we ever been disappointed with our stay. Staff has always been extremely accommodating, friendly, and helpful. Husband gifted me with an aromatherapy massage, and Jasmine gave me one of the best massages I've ever had!
We ate at Trevi 5. Good lunch. The hotel itself is beautiful, and was hosting a wine tasting event. The grounds are lovely and worth a walk around.
A classic. Beautiful atmosphere. Friendly and attentive staff.
A wonderful hotel to stay at with all the amenities you could ask for. Room pricing does very depending on the season.
Come here every year & always a 5 Star, superb service all around from the restaurants to the landscaping, valet service, etc. The outdoor pool is so beautiful, you feel like you are on an island. Why not get away & experience the wonders of this beautiful treasure.
The hotel is very beautiful in that state is a dream but the bad thing is the restaurants, the bad attention and the bad service but you give it well
It s ok for the price. It also isn t clear on their website where you re actually being booked - I travel every week for work, so I know my way around most booking systems. I went to check in and they wanted to send me to another property that definitely wasn t walking distance from the main hotel.
Beyond that, the rooms are small and bathrooms are definitely small compared to other hotels at a similar price point.
The restaurants are great - I don t plan on staying here again, but I do plan on returning to the Circular.
The ultimate high class experience! Beautiful rooms in an historic treasure of a Hotel! Impeccable service and delicious breakfast at The Circular!
We absolutely recommend staying here if you plan on coming to Hershey Park! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and as long as you check in early and are very specific about what you need at checkin, they are very helpful! There's a shuttle that runs to and from the park, and the staff will even drive you down to the Hershey Gardens with their sedan service! There are three restaurants and a cafe inside the hotel plus one restaurant just a short walk across the grounds! We also reserved the character breakfast which was a lot of fun, and who doesn't like a buffet? Lots of opportunities for photos, and especially fun on the weekends leading up to Halloween! Just don't foget your swimsuit (there's a lovely indoor pool and spa) as the ones they sell in their boutiques are super pricey and they don't have any extra for kids!
Most of me and my wife's trip was pretty enjoyable except one night when the park closed (10pm I believe, it was late) and we were waiting for our shuttle to take us back to the hotel. The shuttle stops are roped off to create a line. My wife and I was at the shuttle stop first but the only available place to sit down was at a nearby bench outside of the ropes. So like a scene out of Seinfeld, we sat patiently for like 5 minutes or so all by ourselves then before we realized what happened, a wave of people scurried in line before us. So we get in line behind these 3 or 4 people before the second wave of people to keep from getting knocked to the back of the line. When the shuttle bus arrives, the idiots right in front of us (w/ strollers and other baby equipment) waited until the last minute to start breaking down all their stuff. My wife and I didn't have anything extra to store under the bus (we came to Hershey without the kids), so while they were fumbling around my wife and I went around them and got on the bus. This is when the situation gets all ROSA PARKS because the shuttle bus driver saw us go around the baby idiots and decides that she needs to verbally CHECK us for not waiting "our turn." This shuttle bus driver (she looked like one of those red-headed, polygamy wives) decides to make it her business to chastise/talk down to us and say that we were "rude" for what we did. She didn't even care to ask us about the situation before passing judgment. I believe that if we looked like her and weren't the only black people on that shuttle, she wouldn't have reacted the way she did.
Old time comfort and service. Truly the sweetest place on Earth.
Compliments to the chef and staff in the buffet. The creamy polenta was heavenly! I had 2 plates of it. Julia gave great customer service as well as the rest of the staff. She puts you into the holiday spirit. My Long Island Ice Tea was a little weak, but maybe it was probably because I had only one drink with a coffee. The jewelry shop lady was very helpful. We'll be coming back next year.
Very slow and outdated elevators. In addition to staircases that don't span from ground floor to top floor of the hotel means you start on one staircase, and then have to walk around the hotel to find the staircase that takes you past the first floor. Very poorly labeled restaurants and amenities made navigating the hotel an annoyance. I've never been so confused in a hotel that only has 4 floors.
A bit dated and in need of serious renovation but not bad for a 3 star hotel
We go to dinner at the Circular Room every year for our anniversary. The food and atmosphere is amazing! The only reason I knocked off a star is because the cocktails are not up to the level of the rest of the meal. The best part is always the salted carmel at the end.
The Hershey Hotel never disappoints. We ve been staying there for the past seven years during the start of the holiday season. We travel with family and have found the Catherine Hershey Suite to be a perfect (and luxurious) fit for a family of six. The staff is absolutely amazing from the bellhop to room service. We cannot wait to return next November (or sooner if plans allow)!
