I really enjoy this location. Great lodging experience, not to mention all the amenities. Shopping, dining and all the extras like the water park, etc. Great place for anyone and super family friendly.

We were attending a Lularoe sale at the lodge's convention center. Beautiful facility, the vendors had plenty of space, and the bathrooms were quite clean. they also had water provided which was nice.

Huge hotel! The shuttles to the park is am.awesome perk. Also received complimentary tickets to Hershey Gardens and the Hershey Experience. If you're on a budget, Friendlys is walking distance to the hotel. Also, runners, there's a 12 mile trail starting across the street at the medical center. A must run.

I have visited Hershey Park for many years; however, staying at the Hershey Lodge made it an even more wonderful experience. A special thanks to the wonderful professionals who helped make our stay so awesome: Jason Heath (General Manager), Andrew Whitman (Front house manager), Blair Larson (manager), and Teresa did an excellent job making sure our first stay as a married couple was truly Hershey Happy! What a sweet experience! We will be back for the marriage conference as well- and a thanks for Gailee- as well- her recommendations when we called helped us choose this resort in the first place. Thank you so much Hershey Lodge team for supporting your promise and giving us a thrilling experience. We enjoyed our stay at Hershey and will be back again. Also- the food is AMAZING at the lodge. Really. Dave served us at the forebay restaurant/ he was so amazing- he gave us better service than we have had at several Michelin starred restaurants. Hershey is definitely an unique experience worth having. I m sure you ll love it here.

A great stay! The rooms were very small but clean. The employees were very friendly and super helpful. You get Hershey bars when you check! The indoor waterpark was great for the kids and they have beer and wine which definitely makes it easier to sit and watch the kids play. They have 3 huge water slides inside. The restaurants were good the only thing that was a bummer was the wait times were 45-60 min Thursday and Friday which didn't seem right because there was a bunch of open tables at both places. I guess they didn't have enough staff. The staff made Easter baskets for the kids that were great and there was an Easter egg hunt on there beautiful property. I highly recommend staying here if you have kids and if you don't try Hershey Hotel!

What a beautiful place. There is a store inside the lodge where you can buy candies, chocolates or souvenirs. We were there for a Boy Scout event. Honoring the Eagle Scouts of 2016. The meal was delicious & served by a wonderful staff. The dessert was to die for.

Checked in, the room smelled of mildew and mold. Informed staff, he checked his computer then reported he would send housekeeping to confirm our complaints. If you choose to stay here checkin right at the time or else you may be the room with mold spores floating through the air.

Stopped at the coffee place for a great mocha and it exceeded my expectations! Staff were extremely friendly throughout the lobby and coffee place. My iced mocha was to die for and the prices were reasonable! Would definitely go again!

Would not classify this as a 4 star hotel. Check in took forever! Rooms are in bad need of an update and beds are so hard! I've never woken up with back pain in my life until I slept here. The king size bed was smaller then ours at home and the couple we traveled with said the same. Indoor mini water park is definitely a nice perk though. And service is wonderful. The shuttle to the park is convenient. Essentially you're paying for the Hershey name. Not really worth the price. Really disappointed.

Love the indoor pool. Sad it closed during rain. This is why people choose a place with indoor pool. A bit overpriced but every amenitie was at our fingertips. So can't complain. My son LOVED IT.

The rate was good. The room was clean and it looked fun for kids. The building is dated. It needs upgrading. The pool is very small outside. This where I think they need to focus on. The pool is on the side of building. It is so small for a resort so huge. The water works is fun for the kids. As a couple, I think Hotel Hershey would have been better!

I have some mixed reviews on this place for sure. Check-in took about 25 mins due to the line, the staff are friendly, parking can be tough. The rooms, while they are clean, they need some attention. My room had a weird musty smell, not sure if the a/c unit needed clean or with the place being so old, maybe the carpet needed scrubbed. I am not sure if I would stay here again due to this mixed review. There are definitely other hotels, even chain ones in the area that provide a better experience especially for the money that you pay($190+) a night. Bathroom are really outdated and most rooms are set up weirdly.

Hotel Staff was amazing & very accommodating. My family and I enjoyed our stay. For the price you pay the rooms could be more up to date. The food taste fine from the restaurants on premises. however, breakfast from room service was not so tasty, our juice taste like water & nothing was good it just look nice.

Quite nice! Good amenities. As you might have guessed, almost everything is chocolate based. The restaurants I went to were good, the coffee shop on site was good, and my encounters with staff was professional and courteous. I was here for a conference, so I cannot speak to the park or anything around children, but overall, it was one of the better venues I've attended for small-midsized conferences.

Let me explain why I am only giving the lodge a 3 star rating. I decided that I wanted to go to the Hershey Spa for my bachelorette weekend. We researched hotels and decided that the Lodge was the best place for us to stay. We reserved the hospitality suite. The room was beautiful and fit us perfectly. The customer service we experienced however was not what we expected. We arrived a bit before 4 (check in time). My sister-in-law told them when she made the reservation that we would like to check in earlier if possible in order to decorate the room. Upon arrival we were told that room may not be ready for us until 6:30. This is unacceptable. We had reservations for dinner at 5:30 and most peolle had a distance to travel so they needed to freshen up and get dressed. After speaking to many people at the front desk, including a manager they told us we could have access to half of the room. Come to find out there was a busted pipe in our room and there were plumbers in the room until about 6. I understand that things happen, but I also work in customer service. When you are aware that a group has chosen your place of business to celebrate a special occasion you do what you are able to make the experience unforgettable and unique. This was not the case for us! Like I said before the hotel itself is gorgeous and the room was wonderful, but the staff was surprisingly unaccommodating. Will think twice before staying there again!

Was there for MDW. Overall, clean hotel. The water park was a little disappointing. It was really just a pool with a slide. Very organized for a very busy weekend. The food at Fire and Grill(?) was not good. Waited 35 minutes for eggs and toast with only 4 other tables occupied and food came out cold. The beanery was decent. Delicious coffee. Not sure I would return. It was $450 a night and not sure it warranted that.

We went right before Christmas. The lodge was at capacity. One of our two rooms was not ready until 6pm and there was food from the previous guests left in the little fridge so it wasn't thoroughly cleaned. The regular rooms are very small so if you have kids keep that in mind. We requested rooms near the water park because the lodge is very large and could be a long cold walk back to your room (note the water park does not let you take towels back to your room from the park unlike something like a great wolf lodge). Unfortunately and this is not fault of the lodge but other guests allowed their kids to run up and down the hall yelling starting before 8am and ending after 10pm when the water park closes. If we were to return we would not request rooms near the water park again because of the noise. The other big caveat is that we wanted to do the Christmas time in Hershey Park and while it was nicely decorated and the lights were great more than half of the rides were closed including all of the big rollercoasters. We were happy we had an annual pass and did not pay for a ticket because we would have been very upset. There were long lines due to so few rides being open and my older kids were bored.

We stayed for a busy convention. Everything was very nice. When we had some down time the pool area was closed so we didn't get to enjoy it. They did have it open in the evening before we were leaving but wasn't much time. I did use their gym which was very nice. To get into either of these you must use your room key. It took us awhile to find them because it's very easy to get lost in this hotel. We stayed 3 days hardly used the elevators because it was easier to find our way using the stairs. Later we found out it's built on a hill so even though we were on 2nd floor had to go to 3rd floor in some parts of lodge. Parking was horrendous. We never left because I was afraid we wouldn't find a spot.

For how expensive the rooms are they are some what out dated. They have a mini fridge and coffee maker no microwave. You can order room service with delivery charge plus 19% gratuities. The beds are very comfy with Hershey kisses pattern. Our housekeeper was very friendly. The walls are very thin so we could hear the people next to us coughing and partying.

The two dinner meals we had were good but not great for the price. The desserts were delicious! Our first meal was a tough pork loin with a butter knife to cut through using a lot of muscle strength. The second meal was stuffed chicken breast. There was little gravy to go with chicken and mashed potatoes. But the desserts made up for the meals! They melted in your mouth like ice cream but weren't ice cream nor cake. I wouldn't recommend them for a diabetic. I can still taste them! Delicious!! One was a caramel and the other tasted like a giant reese's peanut butter cup.

Here's the thing, we're here right now, Covid precautions are everywhere and everyone seems to be doing their part. As such, capacity in the restaurants is down. I recommend making meal reservations a day in advance. We are staying in an upgraded queen suite and the bedding is awesome. The pull out couch is very comfortable according to my 10yo daughter. Don't expect a huge water area for the kiddos, though. It's nothing like Great Wolf Lodge.

We just wrapped a two night stay and couldn't be more happier with our stay. The two night stay came with two day passes to Hershey Park, 4 complimentary passes to the Hershey Gardens, 4 complimentary passes to Hershey Story Museum and free breakfast each morning. The room was clean and the staff were courteous and very professional. I would definitely recommend the Hershey Lodge to my family and friends. And we will definitely stay ar the Hershey Lodge whenever we vist Hershey Park again.

Loved our one night stay here! We used our complimentary passes to Hershey Gardens and Hershey Story Museum, spent the evening and morning at the WaterWorks in the lodge, had a great dinner at the Bear's Den, and spent some time sitting by the fire in the lobby. Highly recommend! Our 6 year old and 10 month old both had a great time as well.

Rooms are a little dated. And there was a wait to get into the rooms, so don t believe the 4pm check in. The front desk was confused because my step mother reserved all the rooms. The lobby with the fireplace seems like a great idea, but you can never get by the fire and it is loud. Maybe a second lobby or location with a fire pit or fireplace would be nice. John at the lobby bar was great! As were the two bar tenders in Fire and Grain on Thanksgiving evening. Both women were very pleasant and helpful. The food is ok. Had better food at the Iron Hills BRewery that just opened in town. Fabulous, although their brewed beer was just ok. The parking is really difficult and you often park far away and walk. If you have teenagers, as we had with us, there is not a lot for them to do. Even the water park is small for them. This is really more for children under 10, maybe 12. The do that well.

Very nice lodge on the outskirts o f dowyoown Hershey! Cute decor in rooms of Hershey kisses! Fridge and coffee maker! Large bathroom with separate sink area. Main lobby is always very busy but the staff are extremely accommodating and helpful! Room service is quite expensive but their many restaurants, including the Cafe for breakfast are reasonable and offer a big selection! Large gift store too. Plenty for kids to do with Hershey Characters appearing in lobby for photo opts, a mini Waterworks water park, and night activities such as Smores at the fire pit. Great place to take the kids!

Very clean, very helpful staff. Amazing decor to go along with the spacious yet comfy feel. The wings are all named after candy and the food is pricey but worth it. The showers had great pressure and plenty of hot water. Great place to come and relax.

Nice hotel set up more like a resort. My only complaint is the rooms are too small for a larger family. Rooms do not accommodate more than 4 and do not provide a rollaway bed......odd for a family place. We had to bring an air mattress which barely fit in the space. There was a faint musty smell but tolerable. Other than that it was an enjoyable stay. Kids had fun in the little water park and the restaurants very good.

Spacious rooms with good AV equipment. Mic transitions during presentations worked well. Volume and feedback issues were handled quickly. Surprisingly no technology stumbles over a couple days of presentations. The food had a reasonable variety and pretty high quality. There was ample coffee and hot tea but limited cold beverage selection.

Nice lodge with a variety of amenities. They have a few different food places, a gift shop, several pools, an indoor water park, a free shuttle to take you to the park, and more. My only coming is the prices. The rooms are overpraced and a bit dated and the food is good but definitely over priced. Yes it is very nice and has a lot to offer, but most people just want a place to sleep so they can go to the park and I am sure there are local hotels that offer similar amenities with better prices. Yes I would come back again, but I would most likely look elsewhere for better rates. If it wasn't for the high prices I would rate it 5 stars hands down.

My son is staying there this week. Prior to arriving he had called three times to confirm arrangements, was told his balance upon arrival. When he checked in he had a 400.00 hold put on his card. He budgeted for this trip and was never informed of the hold . I understand the reasoning and have had that many times during stays at other hotels, resorts etc. The problem was that in no conversation with the hotel was it discussed . Also the park passes were not supplied at check in as promised and the room was not ready by 4:00 as promised also. I've never been to this area of PA but his experience will be passed on as to where not to stay . Or make sure Hershey Lodge is crossing their T's if someone chooses to stay there.

My wife and I stayed here for the first time during an event this past weekend. Have nothing to complain about, the staff was courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and most of all professional in every aspect. Our room was clean, spacious and quite. The bed was comfortable enabling the two of us to get a good night's sleep during our three night stay. A spacious bathroom that was clean. We had the comfort of a mini fridge but no micro and we were ok with that. We ate at three of the five restaurants that are on the property, and we highly recommend the Hershey Grill and the Bears Nest, sorry I can't remember the name of the third establishment. We will definitely stay here again as a matter of fact probably around the same time next year.
