Clean affordable. Great staff and the pools are awesome!
Clean affordable. Great staff and the pools are awesome!
Great family or couple getaway for the weekend or whole week.
Attended chocolate fest. We had fun and I'd recommend it to people but it was overwhelming and even my chocolate loving wife grew tired of the ultra rich samples. But the samples were very generous.
Very pretty inside. Great place for big events that require multiple rooms and the waite staff have an excellent plan for feeding and seating 3500 people.
Very clean and classy facility. Would recommend for any professional event.
Really awesome experience across the board. Best staff of any resort on the East Coast.
A beautiful resort with lots to do even if you don't get to the park
Was nice for a regular hotel. I have no complaints about the water park area. Was very clean, and kids had fun. As for the rooms, they need updated to reflect an expensive lodge atmosphere. For what we paid I feel the hotel atmosphere was the same as a low rate hotel. You could hear everything going on in the hall and from the other rooms. You could hear whenever anyone went to the bathroom in the room beside us- and I m not referring to the toilet flushing. The beds and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. Also parking near our room was impossible to find if we left and came back in the evening. We could have stayed at the Great Wolf lodge cheaper than this stay, I just was hoping to avoid large crowds. Maybe had admission to the park or lights been included it would have made the price worth it? We got Garden tickets for free, who wants to visit the garden in 30 degree weather? We didn t use those. We also got the Hershey story tickets, which took us 20 minutes to go through and the kids were bored with it, having been there before. Overall I think room prices need to drop or something needs to be added for the price to be worth it.
Rides were good. Food is way too expensive! Family of 4 spends around $55-60 for Chick filet lunch. $3.59 for a 16oz soda?
Super fun. Great atmosphere. No place luje Hershey.
Wish we could have stayed longer. Lodge was beautifully decorated and very cozy. Enjoyed sitting out by the fireplace with a hot cup of coffee in the morning. My son loved the pool. We LOVED the combo package and getting to go to all the hershey attractions for free. Our family had a blast and will be back in the spring!
4 stars like most other reviews say. Enormous establishment, little over priced for the area but the layout and options available there are great. Overall very pleasant weekend there.
I've been here for multiple events but never stayed overnight. The atmosphere is a mix between sophisticated and cozy that somehow works because you could be in a ball gown walking by kids who were just at the pool. For the most part, the event guests and lodging guests are fairly separated though. The food is stellar (juicy filet mignon, flavorful crusted chicken, creamy mashed potatoes, rich desserts, and even the carrots were a nice al dente)! Finding a parking spot and figuring out what entrance to use are always the worst part.
Hershey lodge is one of America's hidden places to visit and stay for a fun week or two day stay. The rooms are fantastic, the food is amazing and service is top notch.
Hard to judge because we went there during Covid-19 restrictions. Not to much going on or open. Rooms were clean.
Great place, food really expensive, 2 eggs toast, bacon, & fruit cup with a cute mini muffin for 13.00, coffee 2.35 a cup comes with carafe. It was very good.
Amazing place, I met a really amazing lifeguard there Keely Reuwer
Nice hotel but had to wait for buses to/from park. Enjoyed Bear's Den restaurant for dinner.
It was awesome I was here for the model un competition. The atmosphere was great but they did have some issues when it came to food.
Dated room was dusty over priced paying for the name and convenience
We decided to take a family vacation to Hershey Pennsylvania and stay at the Hershey Lodge so I bought the package where it includes tickets to the park the room and supposedly free breakfast this is very misleading as breakfast was not free. It was free only for the children my husband and I have a six-month-old baby and two kids that are 10 and 6 my mom came to help With the baby so we could enjoy the park with our two kids. At breakfast all Adults were charged full price which was $21 a person it came to a total of almost $70 after purchasing the package that led me to believe breakfast was included it was only free breakfast for the kids who all ate little to nothing. I certainly did not eat $20 worth of food and neither did grandma. With the amount of money paid to stay at the Hershey Lodge and they do not provide a continental breakfast our only option to eat there before going to the park was to pay which is very misleading on the package deals they offer. My mom who came with us to help with the baby had a knee replacement in January and has a handicap sticker because she has a hard time getting around she was planning to stay at the hotel with our baby while we took our kids to the park. We were assigned room 1103 section B which is not a huge distance away from the lobby but it is a pretty good hike. When we went to park in front of our room there was no parking in our section of the hotel we were given a parking pass to put on our dash in order to park in front of our room however there were four cars that were parked in front of our room that did not have a pass when we notified the front desk that there was no place to park in front of our room so we could unload and my mom would not have to walk a great distance to get to our hotel room. They said that they were sorry and that there was nothing they could do parking was first come first serve and that we had the option to valet and tips are greatly appreciated at the valet desk.We still tipped the valet because it is not their fault that the front desk could not fix the parking problem or refuse to address the problem that people were parked where they shouldn t have been. The amount of money paid for the hotel should ve included somewhere to park within a reasonable distance in hindsight I guess I should ve requested an ADA accommodation if you have trouble walking at all make sure to request ADA accommodations otherwise they will not accommodate you. Overall the room was clean and satisfactory but the customer service and the nickel and diming during your stay is not worth it save your money and stay at a cheaper hotel.
Crab cakes were delicious and mashed potatoes phenomenal. My steak was good, but not much flavor. The chocolate butter was light and fluffy, not too sweet. Service was top notch.
I was there today for the grooming expo, and it was great. The whole place was clean the bathrooms was spotless. I can't wait till next year grooming expo to go back.
Beautiful place hotel staff were so nice and courteous.
Really enjoyed our stay here. Friendly staff and nice splash pool. Good times with family!
Comfortable, affordable, and the most congenial staff I've ever encountered.
Was there for a tech conference. There WiFi only kicked me off twice. The breakfast spread was awesome, but finding water throughout the day was tough.
Nice place, clean. Friendly staff, plenty of things to do. Gift shop, good food...who doesn't love chocolate?? There's chocolate in the lotion, shampoo...etc..
Upon arriving at the Hershey Lodge for a Church Conference well weekend, my family and I were welcomed by the warm and accommodating staff. As expected from a city whose origins are tied to candy, we were given complimentary Hershey Bars. The House Keeping change the linens every 3 days of a guest's visit unless you all otherwise, however they do provide new towels and clean the room daily. This is Hershey Lodge doing their part to be as "green" as possible. Due to the rain, we couldn't go to Hershey Park, but we got a chance to go to the indoor Water Park. The kids loved it. I was appreciative the water want to feel for my kids to need a parent in the water with them. There was on duty life guards as well. We will be back sometime this summer to redeem or Hershey Park tickets.
Great experience, wonderful staff, unbelievable cuisine in all restaurants, lots of activities. Highly recommend
Friendly staffs, and a lot of amenities. Even for memorial weekend, things still seems very much in order. Will definitely go back again.
Beautiful and wonderful place to visit very relaxing accommodations are excellent.
Everyone here is friendly and helpful. Dont be shy to ask any questions if you have them. Food here is also great
Was here for a work event everything was very nice.
The location was great. The wait staff and service were great, everyone was really friendly and helpful. Attended a large marriage conference and the venue was well suited for it. Wished there was better food times and options available for the event, however. The rooms were comfortable and neat, but could be more thorough with their cleanliness.
Its huge. It took about 15 minutes to walk at a brisk pace from my room to the front lobby. The staff were all very nice and I enjoyed my stay.
Cute hotel with a lot of really fun amenities. Great for social events and for family as well. Had food catered and it was good. Will be back for another conference in the future, but would consider going for a weekend getaway
Went to an event called super chef in the conference center area of the lodge. The event was in the very spacious Aztec room/hall. Didn't see a lot of lodge staff on account of it not being a hotel event but the staff I did run into were very polite and helpful. Overall nice place that was well kept and had nice staff.
Great way to visit the Hershey area. Has a shuttle to all of the attractions and tickets that can be purchased in the main lobby. Also has a water park and several great restaurants.
Average experience for a high price. First room(exterior ground level room) reeked of wet dog, upon letting the staff know, was told they sometimes get like that during the summer. They did move us to a different room, but unfortunately it smelled the same way.
Rest of the facilities were nice including the indoor water park.
Really nice hotel with lots of fun stuff. The layout is like a university dorms with indoor pool, outdoor pool, mini golf, and many others. The rooms are pretty clean and nice. But it's a little bit far from the Hershey Park compared with other resorts.
Rooms are fairly standard. Bathrooms equipped with all chocolate scented toiletries, such as shampoo and soap. It's cute, but it gets old - Id recommend bringing your own. Wifi is fairly slow.
Very clean. Professional staff that look to make sure your every need is met. Great amenities.
This place is beautiful and huge. They need moving walkways as just getting from your room to the lobby is a 5 to 10 minute walk which is difficult if you are disabled. The food was good and I was there during the R&B festival weekend in October. The talent and events were amazing
I recently attended a rewards banquet at The Hershey Lodge, and it was very nice. The service and food were what you'd expect as far as events service goes. The food was nice and the general atmosphere/accommodation s we're lovely.
This place is beautiful and the staff is fantastic.
Wonderful facility and great location. The restaurants are a little over priced for quality of food which is why 4 stars but otherwise great place!
Food was delicious at Fire and Grain, quite busy but still got good service. Little pricey but worth it for a fun night out.
Terrific place. Great for kids, and lobby is terrific.
Had a conference at the Hershey Lodge. Room temperatures were good. The chairs were small and placed very close to each other so it was a tight fit for some. The map of the rooms was confusing at first, especially because some rooms had doors and signs for entrances we weren't using. The breakfast and lunch looked good. It's a nice facility with fabulous, clean bathrooms.
Really enjoyed our trip. We did spend a few evenings in the water park for the hot tub. I wish they would police the children in the hot tub a little more so adults can enjoy it. Room was nice and clean. Food is great! Also fun that they give everyone a Hershey bar at check in! Parking also seemed to be an issue as well. All in all a great place and would stay again!
Awesome ! Amazing food at the Forebay and Fire and Grain restaurants! Really catered to gluten free needs- very impressed!
Great place, clean and they have discounts for other attractions, such as the museum, and botanical garden. They also transport you to these areas, and the amusement park.
Loved it! Their own water park is fun and it is inside. They have their own shuttle bus to the park. Expensive but worth it.
I loved this hotel!!! The lodge was beautiful, and the restraints were amazing. The kids really enjoyed the water park and the game room. The rooms were spacious and clean, and check in was very easy! Will be returning!!
Really enjoyed the time we had. This our second time there and the room was clean, fully stocked, and quiet. The pool was indoor and clean and well maintained. What else can I say, other than, we love the lobby area, the food, decor, etc. We prefer the Hershey Lodge instead of the Days Inn which was equal in the costs.
Really neat hotel. The water park was great for my 8yr old. They serve adult beverages in the water park too. Couple restaurants on the property. We really had a great time.
We were slightly disappointed in the room noise - meaning the heating and a/c unit as well as the mini-fridge. Both made loud noises all night long. Additionally, the food was not that great. I was also disappointed in how much we paid to stay there vs. the quality.
The service was great and I loved that they gave us free tickets to Hershey Gardens and to the Hershey Story Museum. They even gave us each a free chocolate bar when we checked in! The only thing I didn't like was how the bathroom was set up. If future renovations are done, don't put the toilet behind the door in the bathroom.
Nice place easy to get lost in the parking lot so know what building you want. But it will take you around in a big circle so don't worry just don't leave and you will find your way
A really nice place to stay and the restaurant have gluten-free food yay food yay us!
The whole place smelled like chocolate it was awesome
Horrible experience last night with the Hershey Lodge. We were up all night sneezing because our room smelled like dog. When I informed the front desk, the woman simply said "we only allow dogs in outside rooms so it was probably something else." The hotel was difficult to navigate and the room was small for the price. Would not recommend.
Everything was really good. The beds were made up and nice and everything was organized and very new. The tv was also pretty cool. However they had no free water or coffee inside the room. You had to pay for it. But overall it was nice.
A great place If you don t mind being totally overrun by young kids. Definitely not a romantic destination. A good place for meetings with lots of parking.
Can use an update of many of the hotel features based on the price per night
It is a very nice place to have an expo. Plenty of room and nice layout. Parking can get challenging with so many people but usually not impossible to find a spot.
Huge place, friendly and very helpful staff, great food!
Stayed in the hotel 3 weeks past, for four nights. Room was clean, washroom was clean. The staff are really attentive and service oriented. Only bad experience was at the restaurant upstairs, they really are NOT a steak place get something else. Other criticism is the Hershey Kiss wall paper a bit much as well I question why with a full hotel they choose to close a restaurant leaving one to wait in long line ups . I would come back again if business was close again
Gwen was great at the water park at the Lodge. She went above and beyond to ensure my family had a wonderful experience!
Great place awesome food especially fire and grain, but be prepared to do a lot of walking and it's easy to get lost in , the corridors are half a mile long
Great place great accommodations great food and the whole place smells like chocolate who couldn't love that
We enjoy staying at the lodge. It is a fun hotel with an epic fireplace to relax in front of. The only drawback to staying here is that it is an older hotel, so the walls are not the most sound proof. That said, it is a great hotel for families who are visiting the park or Hershey world.
Only went for a grooming expo. The place was set up beautifully. The grounds around the lodge were outdoor friendly. Many places to sit and enjoy rhe views of rhe pond or just to take a walk
Extremely understaffed for a recent busy weekend. The staff were pleasant and helpful despite this, but nobody should have to wait an hour for a luggage cart or to even get their room key. Typical corporate greed. Also the keys didn t often work, requiring a trip to the front desk.
Rooms are comfortable, clean and well kept. Food choices are extensive and there was plenty to do for the family. The new water park was well staffed and a great time.
Its ok, they told us we would be able get a room with pull out and didn't get it they told us we will be able to get easy access to microwave and yet we were put in the furthest room
Gorgeous family friendly place. Is as sweet its name implies.
A wonderful place, service is amazing and this is a place you should defilnitely come to.
This is not my first time to the Lodge. The conference facilities are fantastic. Comfortable rooms, spacing, and walking distance. Service exceptional. Lunch was served incredibly fast to a huge number of people. Always worth the trip.
Great hotel for families. Rooms were clean and decent sized. Staff was super friendly. Water park was fun for the kids. Food was good and priced as expected for a themed hotel. Only drawback was the parking situation as the hotel is so big and there are few parking spots in each section. Thus you may have to park in another section and find your way back to your building.
What a beautiful place! Love the whole feel of the lobby, very warm and cozy. Super friendly staff. Kids loved the water park
Liked it, but no laundry facilities to do your own.
Water park was great. Parking situation very strange and spread out. Rooms pretty small
Fun spot for a bite to eat. Great experience planning meetings, celebrations, etc.
A little disappointed with our room. It was a bit dated. The air conditioner wasn't working, and I had a hard time sleeping. It was so stuffy. The new indoor pool was a nice addition & the bar has great chocolate martinis!
Took our grandchildren and had a blast. Rooms are small for 4 people. But we managed. Food was decent. They have a lot.of activities for the kids and the indoor pool was a hit. Rooms were clean. Nothing fancy or romantic. They could use some updating. We will go back.
I was at the Hershey lodge attending a conference. Staff is very helpful. Building looks very nice and is very clean. Food was above average.
