This was a beautiful setting for a special banquet. I recommend it as a venue that is easy to reach. It had excellent audio and video screens. The food was delicious. The building is beautiful. The only problem is parking is difficult for a crowd.

I was here for a conference and had forgotten to tell them I was gluten free for the lunch. I told them right before we were about to eat and the main dish was already gluten free and there was a dessert for me. Verry impressive! Thank you Hershey lodge! I didn't stay but everything looked immaculate.
Went to the Bears Den after the Hershey Bears hockey game. Atmosphere was awesome! Food was awesome and you can't get buy 1 get one free appetizers with proof of your Bears ticket stub!
This is the perfect hotel for big family groups. There are lots of restaurant and family entertainment options. This sprawling hotel lets you leave your hotel room without a jacket and have a variety of food, drink amd entertainment options.
Beautiful decor inside with fireplace ambiance and luxurious accommodations. Ample parking outside but entrance points area bit confusing with no guiding signage.
I have stayed here numerous times and never had a problem! This time ,which was an important year my 25th anniversary, was horrible! In all the years the front desk has always asked for a debit card in case we extra charges but they have never pre charged the card like this year. In our room was a huge centipede bug on the ceiling due to construction going on in the hallway! Which was extremely noisy n wake us up starting at 7:41am!! There was also a piece of clothing left on the floor from the previous woman. Our refrigerator kept sounded like it was dropping ice now and again throughout the stay all day and night. As I said we have been coming here for about 10 years if not longer and have always raves about how great the Hershey lodge is! But unfortunately this year was just extremely disappointing!!!!!! It is 8:19am and I am awake and writing a review that should tell you something! I m angry upset and very disappointed! I just want to drive my 2 hours and go home to some peace and quiet! I can t understand why the hotel would put guests on the same floor as all this construction going on. If there s not enough rooms here then put guests at Hershey hotel but this was just unacceptable!!
there are so many wonderful things about this hotel. staff is responsive to all questions/concerns. the water park, mini golf and arcade are great. the food and coffee are wonderful. the only bummer is the mattress. we stayed in a double and neither was comfortable. I will be back but I will ask to stay in a different wing. we were in the Hershey kiss wing.
This is not our first time staying here. It is also not the first time I write a review for Hershey Lodge. I wrote another review for Hershey Lodge two years ago. We have stayed here for our staycation before and we have had great time here. We usually choose the week of Thanksgiving for an overnight stay. This is a great way for us to enjoy indoor mini water park with the Hershey Lodge Water Works. The kids always enjoy their time there.
We live in Hershey and the Hershey Lodge is less than 3 miles away. So we are familiar with the place and surrounding city. Since we live here, we usually don't come to stay here in summer time, which is usually busy here with the tourists and also multiple conferences going on at the Hershey Lodge. We stay here in relatively quiet time of the hotel.
Check-in experience. I had some minor issue with the reservation during check-in. But Patrick on the front desk was AMAZING. He is very professional. I attempted to check-in early after 1/2 day at work on my way home from the office to pick up the family. But since I had some issue with the reservation, I didn't complete the check-in during that time, which was fine since I still have to go home and pick up the family anyway. Patrick called me back, explained the issue has been resolved and the room should be ready whenever we get there. As usual, when you check-in, they will give you Hershey chocolate bars. Since we have 4 people in our reservation, we got 4 Hershey chocolate bars.
We got the room at Hershey Kisses tower, on the 5th floor (highest floor). We prefer the tower, definitely over rooms that accessible from the street. We got a 'one bedroom suite'. This is not the typical one bedroom suite. It is actually adjacent two rooms. We have keys that can open both rooms. We have to open the doors in between rooms to make it a suite. One room has queen beds. The other room is the living room furniture only, with sofa bed and ottoman. There were four Hershey Kisses in each room. The room is nice and clean. There is noticeable scratches on the furniture, so it seems to have been there for a few years, but no broken pieces and still very clean.
We had dinner are Fire & Grain. This is the first time we eat there. My wife doesn't like the ambience at The Bears Den, thus that was not an option. We also considered Hershey Grill and The Forebay, but decided to go to Fire & Grain. We think Hershey Lodge made a great decision with replacing Lebbie Lerkicher's with Fire & Grain. Lebbie was only opened for breakfast, so having another dinner option with Fire & Grain is great. Our family enjoy our dinner here too.
For breakfast, we have room service. It was also good.
And of course, the Hershey Water Works is great. It wasn't too crowded, so we were able to enjoy the Water Works. We fully enjoy our stay at Hershey Lodge. And the kids always think that our staycation at Hershey Lodge is always one of the best vacation we have. No significant driving or traveling to go through. Close and totally full of fun. THANK YOU Hershey Lodge for a great experience for this local family!
The food was absolutely delicious. The Reese's Peanut butter Pie was to die for. The serving portions are more than ample. They also add a dash of culinary asthetics to each dish.
Awesome place! Small but nice indoor water park. Courtesy staff. Clean facility. Definitely recommend it. Was here10 years ago and it's better than ever.
Great family be place. Well maintained facility, very attentive staff, and well appointed rooms. Water park was a hit with both 5 and 8 year old kids. Lot's of on site dining options.
Our stay at Hershey Lodge was amazing as has been the case the past 2 times we've stayed. Staff is great and friendly, the rooms are clean, and overall just a great experience!
At the lodge there was many dogs. However, my superior was unwilling to let me pet them. I threw a tantrum as all rational people would. I now regret my obedience towards my elder and forever will weep about not petting those fluffy bois.
Went off season when their rates are affordable. Water park area is geared towards very young children, not enough seats for their guests, which can be annoying. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel is beautiful, plenty of parking. We loved the restaurant on premises "Bears Den" Great apps and great prices! Wish we could afford to go peak season but their rates are way too expensive. We loved the Hershey Lodge!
Great place to stay, everyone is extremely helpful and polite. Be prepared to go out to eat...dining here is a little expensive. Make sure you bring your own amenities for the room, the ones left for you aren't complimentary.
I was very pleased in our stay here at the Hersey Lodge. Everyone was very nice. I praise the cleaning crew on keeping up with everything in the hotel! They even set up our stuffed animals on the bed in a cute position. I had a great time, felt welcomed and respected. Plus the coffee in the cafe was the best I've ever had... better than the dunkin coffee I drink from work
Pricey but a good time, especially for my niece and nephew. Indoor pool is awesome and the outdoor pool looked great but I didn't get to try it out. The entire hotel was very clean and the staff was helpful and friendly.
We had a little issue with check in (room wasnt ready for about 1 hr after check in) but the manager on duty handled the situation very well (I'm not that easy to deal with when I'm mad) and hooked us up. Kids loved the indoor water park. It wasnt huge but did have 2 decent slides, 2 kiddie areas/pools. And a much larger pool that was suitable for adults as well. And an adult only hot tub.
Huge lodge, they need to build a rollerskating court to get to the main lobby, we were greeted by a very courteous and nice bellman he was very informative. The lodge has it's own shuttle, we didn't spend time waiting for one, they are very punctual. The indoor pool is just like a small waterpark, my kids liked it. The restaurants are clean and the food is fresh.
The venue is clean, with plenty of friendly staff. They have top notch banquet halls, tje bears den restaurant is onsite with a full bar, and the restrooms are well appointed. We were very pleased with the food, accommodations and parking. You'll have no problems bringing your family here.
We walked through on a cold rainy day. The staff members were courteous and restaurants looked nice but we didn't have a need to hang out more than 10 minutes.
The lodge was beautifully decorated for christmas and the main lobby was very impressive. The rooms were clean a b d the service staff was attentive and friendly. The kids loved the waterpark. Very close to other hershey attractions. We enjiyed our stay.
We love staying at the hershey lodge every year. The hotel is clean and there is so much to do for both adults and kids. And of course the proximity to the park is great. Will always come back every year!
Rooms are very pricy. Our room was not appropriately cleaned when we arrived. Room service did not pick up the phone when we needed help. Water park within the hotel and minigolf were great and staff was friendly.
We stayed here for Thanksgiving 2017 and visited some of their Christmas attractions. The room was clean (even the carpet!, rare for kid friendly resorts) and every employee we met was friendly. The attention to detail is over the top. Even the sheets have Hershey Kisses on them! We called room service five minutes before close and they accommodated best they could, much appreciated.
The indoor water park is smaller than some of the purpose built indoor water parks in the Poconos, but clean and well maintained. No complaints. Same with the arcade - small, but good. Kids loved everything.
Earlier this year we stayed at Disney World Resorts. Roughly the same price and a comparable room size. Not even close, Hershey Lodge was much better. Also, at Hershey the employees seem to genuinely care about you. Disney felt forced.
We enjoyed the annual fundraiser for the Hershey symphony. It was a very nice place for dancing and the food and dessert was excellent. The bar had anything we wanted.
We had an excellent weekend with three small children at Hershey Lodge. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the food choices were great and the staff were all friendly and inviting. We found the pool complex to be a much more manageable option for preschool-aged kids than some of the larger indoor water parks in the Poconos, and with the added bonus of being next to the other Hershey attractions. Our kids absolutely loved this place.
The lodge is conveniently located next to three Pokestops and a gym, with several other stops nearby. The grounds themselves are very beautiful, one of the stops in a gazebo next to a lake. It's a great place to relax amidst the summer bustle.
I can't say enough good things about the people there and the amenities. They went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful stay. Every staff greeted us happily and were helpful and friendly. And IMO the chocolate is still better than anything else from anywhere else. We WILL be going back again, hopefully sooner than later.
Great hotel in the Hershey area. Lots of activities for children and families. Numerous restaurants for all types of fare. Many bars, try their martinis. A fun, safe place to stay when in Hershey. Paek season may mean it is extra busy, but you will find that everywhere in Hershey.
We stayed one night and purchased the Candyland Package. The lodge was nice, the lobby was beautiful with the fireplace and Christmas decorations. Our room was nice and clean, but nothing special. We we're a little disappointed because we were supposed to receive milk and cookies with our package but we never got them. We asked the front desk about it and they said they would be delivered, but they still never were. The restaurants at the Lodge were nice and had food for everyone, and there was a shuttle that ran to the park on a regular basis. We didn't get to the indoor pool, but it looked nice for the children. I definitely will plan a trip again in the summer again.
Very large resort hotel. Food options are fairly basic, though fire and grain was by far superior to the bears den. The rooms are a very long walk from the center of the lodge where food and stores are as well. The highlight of the lodge, however is the Hershey WaterWorks a massive indoor pool with slides, rideable plastic dolphins, an arcade and other nice amenities.
Really nice lodge area and things to do. Rooms, at least in the Reeses building, are dated and for the price paid, should be up to date. The shuttle to Hershey Park and attitude of most of the employees is really nice.
The lodge is well worth the price, while some places may be less, you get what you pay for. The perks and plusses for hotel guests are great from early park admission to free attraction tickets. Plus all the chocolate they give you, definitely why the place is named after Milton H.
We enjoyed our stay at the lodge. Room was nice with everything we expected. Close to park with buses running on the hour or so. Pool is good for fsmilies with younger kids. Employees wete nice. Only downside were that vending machines did not work pn our floor. Nice stay would stay there again.
Awesome place. Lots to do. Only complaint is that when they told us there are towels at the pool they didn't say they couldn't leave the pool. So our little guy was damp and cold for the walk back to the room. Had we known that we would have brought room towels.
I have stayed before. Staff pleasant except for the staff member who had no idea what she was talking about and gave us wrong info. The lodge smelled like wet rag. The cleaning staff for rooms were loud and rude. The carts were left in middle of hallway. Coffee shop did not maintain outside tables were dirty. I think i will look for better accommodations next year for lesser of a price also.
There room was clean and comfortable. The waterworks indoor "waterpark" was much better than anticipated. Wonderful place for children of all ages. Staff was friendly and courteous.
Attended the World Slime and it was a great place. I think the room they were in could have been a bit larger with some chairs for tired parents, like myself lol, to sit and rest.
Me and my family are still here as I write this. WOW WOW WOW very beautiful place. The architect and landscape is like Paradise. Hershey Park Wow, Hershey lodge Wow, Hershey World Wow, Hershey museum great, and the Hershey garden is beautiful. I never wanna leave. This is a fairy tale.
Was not what we expected for the hefty price tag. Older, out of date place that is a mish mash of buildings added on over the years and that did not connect to each other well. (We were in Reece s) NO usb connectors in room.. but there was an 1st gen iPod connector! The new pool area advertised was for smaller children. Nice gym and Hershey grill was good food. Allergies went a little crazy in musty room and dust was an issue.
We stayed at The Hershey Lodge for our wedding weekend. We walked into the room to be surprised by a bottle of champagne and beautiful basket filled with chocolates! They were so accommodating. The Hershey Lodge also hosted our Rehearsal Dinner. The staff was friendly and fun! Of course the food was great! Our family and friends loved their stay. There are different bars and restaurants to enjoy! We were so impressed that we just want to go back and drink coffee by the fire in the lobby.
Hershey lodge seems like a great place to stay or a great place to hold a conference. Plenty of rooms to have training sessions as well as two places to eat and a coffee shop and a gift shop
Really the only way I will ever do Hershey Park again. Everything smells like Chocolate it's so great. The shampoo, conditioner, lotion. Sooo splendid. The dining experience was done perfectly with social distancing. Just a few minutes to drive to the park from there.
