Took our son for the weekend. All extremely clean. All very friendly and responsive. As a result of Covid house keeping does not clean or fix your bed every night. But they were extremely responsive on all room amenities we called on. I recommend going and having you will have a great time.

It's great. Staff is extremely helpful. The only issue I have is that there is NO COFFEE until 6 am when the little coffee store in the lobby opens. I require coffee way before that!
Also the food place by the pool isn't open until noon. The kids were "SO HUNGRY" at like 10:30 and trying to get 3 little kids to wait for food ...... not pleasant.

Beautiful place, if your staying a short time the rooms are adequately spacious, if your stay is limited to the lodge then upgrade your room, price is expensive, however it's worth it, you will enjoy yourself and so will your kids,

Although Christmas Day is a very busy day for the Lodge Chris Cronrath at the concierge desk was able to get a reservation at the Forebay for my family and me. I was so thankful that this was possible because we could not think of anywhere else to go for Christmas Dinner except for a regular Chinese restaurant. Thank you so much Chris you made it possible for us to have a new family tradition at the Forebay!!!!
Room service is good. Restaurants inside are ok. I recommend going there for the desert though. Fun for a few days. Involves lots of walking. Wouldn't go there a second time ever again.

Lobby is beautiful!! Rooms are well maintained, Waterworks was a good size for kiddos, restaurants are accessible by lobby. Only thing is theu should have more sign as to which direction to go where. Took me an hour to get back to room after pool
Clean and easy check in and check out. Indoor pool was small. Great for small kids. Shuttle to the park was super convenient there and back. Only con was Long lines for rides. kids rides also. Speed pass was over priced. Small kids can't wait 30-40 minutes to go on a ride for 1-2 minutes. Long lines for food and water was a first. Otherwise park is great. Park is kept clean and staff is nice. Definitely recommend yearly.

I booked this and then read the reviews and they were scary to the point i was about to cancel. However i havent experienced anything bad everyone is friendly. The place is clean and the kids are enjoying themselves.

Hershey Lodge and Hersheypark are perfectly suited to vacationing families with kids around the ages of 6-16 +/-. We ve stayed at the lodge for long weekends two years in a row and have been happy with the amenities such as the shuttle to the park and the indoor water park. The price is fair and there are options for adults, too, like the spa and public gardens.
Hershey lodge on New Year s Eve was amazing. So much for the kids to do it was crazy!!! Kids are getting a little older now so i would recommend going if your kids are little.

Stayed two nights. Had a great time. Many places to eat within the lodge without needing to drive out, which is good because there doesn't seem to be enough parking spots to accommodate so many guests. Which makes the complimentary shuttle bus service to Hershey Park super helpful. The water works is fun, especially the big tube slides. But I didn't quite understand why they had to close the indoor pool when there were thunderstorms outside. All in all I would love to return and stay again another time.
Overall, a very nice hotel. It needs some attention to detail, such as a step stool in the rooms for the really high sinks; almost impossible for a 5 year old to brush their teeth without one. Considering it is a kid themed hotel, some cheap plastic step stools would make a big difference with all the adult sized room features. Also, a little bleach on the grout in the shower occasionally would solve the nasty looking growth in the grout. Outside of that, the staff was friendly and the pool complex was wonderful and well maintained. The shuttle to the park is convenient and I would recommend staying here if visiting the park.
Fantastic stay. Waterpark was a lot of fun. Only negative was the hotel doors are heavy, which causes a loud thud when closing. Can be pretty noisy with everyone going in and out of their rooms. But it's a minor issue
We got the exexutive king suite and it was not very clean... The toilet paper holder was falling off the wall... Every other time we left the room we got locked out because the key cards weren't working. At one point I went to the car to get more diapers for my toddler at 5 am in my jammies and bare feet and got locked out again....had to walk a very long way in nothing but my night clothes through the enitre hotel (embarassing) to the front desk so they could make me another key card! For the price we paid to stay...all I can say is it wasn't worth it and we will not be staying there again.
I give 2 stars because the staff was friendly but the hotel was not very nice. The park and hershey world however would be worth going to. Just don't stay in the hotel.
One of the best family resorts we've been to. You can spend the entire day at the lodge without having to leave. Package deal includes park tickets and other attractions. Miniature golf, basketball court, indoor and outdoor pool on site. Along with a number of restaurants.
I love Hershey Lodge and have attended numerous conferences there. Staff is always great. Rooms are always spotless.
Only complaint is that the key card turns off at original checkout time even though I requested late checkout. This time, it happened while my service dog was waiting inside the room and could have been disastrous.
Had company holiday party at the Lodge. It was very nice and inviting. The staff was friendly and engaging. The food was decent, especially the dessert (duh). Overall, I would recommend the Hershey Lodge to anyone from large groups to a couple getting away for the weekend. Top notch.
It's a $1000 for 2 nights The rooms were not ready we waited 2 extra hours in the lobby got to the Room and it's the quality of a hotel 8 they were supposed to have milk and cookies ready for my kids But that never showed up And that's not as clean as I thought it was going to be The amusement park was included in the price but half the rides were closed The food in the restaurant was way overpriced and was not very good my family and I saved up for a long time for this little vacation It was supposed to be a time to remember But certainly was not....very very disappointed I can now tell it is all about the dollar not about the quality will never return to this place again It's just not a good feeling to see the amount of Disappointment on my family's face.
But that is just my experience I'm not saying You should just Write This place off because of my disappointing vacation here All I say is good luck and I hope it works out for you
Stay was wonderful. The indoor water park was a great bonus. Shuttle to and from the park was convenient and fast. Rooms were clean. Employees were very helpful.
Very nice hotel but needed more staff to handle the large amount of people coming in for a scheduled conference. Staff we dealt with were kind and courteous. Food at all the restaurants was very good. Would stay here again.

Hershey lodge has many amentitues and options on site. We have visited 3 of the on site restaurants which were all diverse, and offered some great options. The on site pool area was closer to an indoor water park; Great for families. The rooms were clean and cozy. Appointed with basic necessities. Staff is friendly and accommodating

Kids love the water park but we are very disappointed by the service of front desk. We purchased the Easter package but, when we check in, Patrick at front desk didn t told us what will be included in our package, he didn t give me the package letter with Sunday brunch tickets so we have zero clue about the special activities. He looks like just want to get over his job ASAP. So we missed the Sunday brunch in Easter Sunday morning, got charge for our breakfast and almost missed the Easter baskets... luckily, kids really want the baskets so I went to ask other service desk staff and they told me what we should have with the package. Then we had to run around upstairs and downstairs to get our baskets... Horrible experience.
Definitely a nice hotel to stay at in this town. The air literally smells like chocolate.
It's a nice place but the amount of money it costs for a room is absurd, it's not that extravagant! Everything is very expensive if you eat or buy anything at the lodge. Best to travel outside of the hotel for food or anything else if you don't want to spend a fortune.

Very nice stay. One exception. Parents allowing children to go unsupervised. Jumping on furniture while other adults were sitting there and crawling under bar stools while people were sitting on them and playing on stairs. All in the lobby were families would like to relax.
Our room was clean and lovely. So many adorable Hershey decorations like kiss printed sheets and little chocolate soaps. The water park was great! The adults had just as much fun as the children! Look forward to going back.

Generous suites, attentive staff, clean room, comfy beds, great restaurant selection. Have to take away a star today sadly. We were told by concierge to take the BUS to the park. We went to the BUS pickup area. After half hr and no bus, we went back inside to inquire when the bus was coming. Concierge changed their story, the VAN replaces the bus at this time of year and it does NOT pickup at bus stop. A plain black VAN picks up at front door, not at bus stop. We waited another 20m for the van. The arrived half hr later, but Unfortunately, van only takes 10 passengers! We are 4. Family ahead of us is 7 very small kids & 3 adults. An hour later, here we ARE - STILL at the lodge; we drove & paid the $10 parking. I gave feedback to the concierge that his direction/instructions for complementary travel to the park could use clarification/improvement. Not a benefit after all, just frustration.
Rooms are clean all restaurants are open except for revelry and didnt check out swimming areas they were full of kids which is what its made for.
Second time staying at Hershey Lodge in 2020; it took 35 mins to check in; very disappointed and frustrated w customer/guest services; wearing a mask is NOT strictly enforced (as of 7/13/20). Understaffed to the point of unsatisfactory. Will not return.
My kids at least had fun so I am giving 2 stars... Layout is poorly designed... There were two contamination (direct translation: child pooped in the water ) incidents in the big pool at Water works two days in a row. If the guideline such as age restrictions as well as the swim diaper are more enforced, maybe it will help to reduce having such incidents from happening again...
Pool was awesome. Mini gold and basketball court were really fun. Lost my wallet on shuttle but the front desk had it found in 10 minutes

Family had a great time in the winter with the indoor water park. Rooms were clean and spacious, everything was very affordable, restaurant options were all good. Never been there "on season" but had a great time at the lodge off season (it was very full for MLK weekend)
First off you advertise kids eat free (they do not eat) unless an adult meal is bought. It was very expensive and than we ordered room service said we would
pay cash and she made my mother in law still sign a slip we handed her 50 for the food and 5 as a tip and than we were charged to our room credit card and bow we have had to call back TWO TIMES because we didn't get a call back, and its been nothing but an issue jumping through hoops. And now we're paying told there are no managers, and we have to wait till Monday to hear anything . You have employees stealing for customers and we want our money back. NEVER PAY CASH HERE CAUSE YOU WILL GET ROBBED
i can never get anyone on the phone. We have a group training coming up and i spoke to one guy there for a new vendor form in order for our accounts department to pay them. He gave me non existent email addresses and now i cannot even get anyone on the phone. This is very unprofessional
Water park at the hotel was nice, kids loved it. The food at the lodge wasn't very good and as everything was there, overpriced. When we checked in they gave us a key to an occupied room, so we had to drag our stuff down to get that sorted. Room was clean, but the filter for the AC was packed with dust and doesn't look like it had been cleaned in a long time. It was fun for a weekend but there are better choices for much less money.
Staff is very courteous. Good selection of restaurants and things to do with a family.
I sing here for a venue once a year and absolutely LOVE the Lodge. The fireplace in the Lobby is a great place to sit and read a good book.
Awful. First trip, meh. This one, yikes! Requested a 2nd floor room close to reception, since the first trip we had a 7 minute walk to the main lobby. We got there at 9:30 pm and was told our room wasn't made up yet (even though check in was hours earlier). There is mumbling between reception and manager. We get put in next to dead last room in hotel, a good 10 minute walk to reception on the first floor of hotel. Most of that corridor was under renovation and stunk of paint. Heater rattled all night and refrigerator froze every drink we put in it. As an added bonus there was a wedding on Saturday and we had a hallway of drunks parading back and forth and screaming in the middle of the night. After about 2 hours security ended it. Horror show at premium pricing for this time of year. Management didn't give a hoot.
My kids love this place! They have an indoor water park that is perfect for a family with little kids. There is a section where younger children can play on as well as a zero-entry pool. It also has a larger pool with basketball hoops, in addition there are two tube slides to go down.
Nice looking resort from the outside, 5 star quality lodging, good food, nice resort store, good place for company celebrations or conferences.
Hershey lodge is clean with well appointed clean rooms. The staff is beyond accommodating and friendly. My husband and I took our 3 yr old nephew and they provided a pack n' play for him to sleep in which was very helpful. This hotel also provides a shuttle service to Hershey Park. All of the restaurants, gift shop, and public areas including the indoor and outdoor pool are spotless. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely book another vacation here. Just awesome..
The hotel smells like delicious hot chocolate. I received a chocolate bar when I checked in. This place is definitely Hershey themed if that is what you're going for. The sheets are incredibly soft. Best of all, I couldn't hear any of my neighbors. I tried the appetizers at the attached Fire and Grill restaurant, which was awesome with lots of variety. The staff are incredibly nice. Only down side was that the check in/check out counter was a bit on the slow side. 3 workers were present behind the desk, but only one was actively working the counter when the line built up to over 5 guests.
The room was pretty small and could use updates for the money we paid. The tub/shower looked dirty. The toilet was crammed behind the door of the shower area. We had our air conditioner turned down to 67 but the room stayed hot, making it uncomfortable to sleep. The beds are super hard and small. It was a tight fit for a family of 5 with 3 of them being small children. The restaurants inside the lodge were convenient but expensive. The indoor water park is fun for younger kids but not a whole lot geared toward older kids. The kids enjoyed the arcade as well. If we went back to Hershey, we would skip the Hershey Lodge and the Hershey Hotel experience and just get a room off campus. I found better deals on groupon that also included park tickets for much cheaper with nicer rooms.

The building was amazing, staff were nice enough but I stayed when there was a convention going on so I'm sure that soured their moods. The food was ok enough but other than that an all around enjoyable experience.
We ate breakfast at the hotel and the French toast with the miniature Hershey kisses we're incredible. The staff was extremely friendly and very attentive to our needs. Can't wait to go back.
Staff is all very friendly and helpful. The rooms are so cute with Hershey kisses on everything! Nice pond loaded with turtles. The water park was a huge hit. So much to do right at the lodge. Also we got complimentary tickets to the museum and Hershey gardens

I absolutely love the Hershey Lodge. The smells of chocolate in the lobby, the fireplace and the Hershey bars are just an added bonus. All of the staff are so helpful and amazing. I can't wait to come back!

This is my second time at the Hershey Lodge. I rented a double queen at the main tower. Hershey Lodge itself is huge. This trip due to COVID there were loads of restirictions, which was great. The lodge is clean, beds are comfy, the room has a safe, coffee machine, small fridge, iron, ironing board, and safe. While the rooms are clean they also need a bit of uodating especially in the bathroom. Shower area needs some regrouting, wall paper needs to be reglued, and floor tiles should either be bleached and/or updated. No complaints about the staff. Everyone, i mean everyone is more than happy to help and direct you to where you need to go and to find whatever you need. Due to COVID there are no shuttles to the park area so u will have to drive. Theodge also has a water works area which is an active pool space for kids... my daughter who is 14 preferred the less crowded outside pool. There is mini golf, tennis and basket ball courts, and restaurants on site. This place is truly a great place to vacation at.
Hershey Lodge is fun and comfortable with lots of activities to keep you busy.

Stayed overnight at the hersey lodge and the service was good. Dined at 3 of the restaurants and enjoyed the food. Staff was very helpful. The waterworks at the pool was great for my son. The shuttle service to the park was convienant. The room was spacious but the bathroom could have been a little larger. Loved the chocolate bath products though. Would recommend for a family trip to hershey.
I loved this place. Everyone is extremely polite and attentive to detail. Servie was great and everything was clean. The only reason why I didn't give them a 4 star was because I twisted my ankle on some loose bricks while playing mini golf and when I reported the loose brick they didn't even ask any specifics, they simply just said "thanks for the heads up" and continued talking. Normally I would think this would need to be reported just to keep records in order...
Had a fun time, they had Hershey themed sheets, wallpaper and shampoo! It's a pretty big property. The walls seem a little thin, we actually had them move us to a quieter section as our neighbors decided to blast their music and be very rowdy into the night. The new room was much better! Overall a great time!
I got a package deal which, I will admit, included so many free tickets which was worth the price. The only complaint I have would be the parking situation. It's set up first come first serve like an apartment complex which meant we had to park far from our room which doesn't work well with a baby. Overall I would book with them again, just be prepared to park far from even the lobby entrance.
This is a fantastic place to stay overnight. Plenty to do, rooms are comfortable, loved the arcade and built in water park, and the service was fantastic! Defiantly would stay again.
The check in was horrible, particularly in light of the Covid issues. Patrons should be given a 10 minute maximum and if further inquiries are asked by patrons, they should be referred to another executive for handling. I waited in line for nearly a half hour . No lines were moving. Chit chat should be eliminated. Patrons should be told in advance that the rule will be enforced. I ve stayed here many times but the check in has never been this bad. In light of COVID issues, this should be addressed expeditiously. Instead I am in a crowded lobby with others similarly situated.
The staff was helpful and polite. Kid's check-in wasn't open. My fiance tried 4 different vending machines before finding one that worked. The indoor water park was awesome! The breakfast buffet at Libbie something or other was delicious!
