The rooms are very nice, spacious, and clean. HVAC works well and I have no complaints. The hotel charges for everything they can and the prices are high. $3 for 4 Tylenol that I have been given For free at other hotels.

We bought an overnight package that included park tickets and breakfast in the morning. Our park tickets were emailed to us a few days before our stay wich was nice. Upon arrival, we were given free tickets to Hershey Gardens, and Hershey Museum. We were also informed that we could go to the park after 6:30 Pm the night before for a "preview". Our room was very nice and clean, and situated 3 doors away from their indoor water park, so our kids were delighted! We enjoyed our breakfast in the morning, it wasnt a typical buffet, but an actual breakfast in one of their restaurants. So we ended up getting a free $65, filling breakfast! Staying at the lodge may be pricier than other hotels in the area, but with the free shuttle, and the other amenities, it is definitely worth the price.

My family and I had a great time at Hershey lodge. The room we stayed in was really nice. The service was excellent vfrom the front desk to the housekeepers. The campus is really big and I almost got lost a few times but never for long because anytime I looked like I didn't know where I was going a friendly staff member was there to offer me help. They also have free electric vehicle charging which was very convenient. The pool was great with very clean facilities and as a former lifeguard I could tell the lifeguard staff knew what they were doing and we're very attentive to the many, many small children playing. We ate at the Bear's Den restaruant which is located in the hotel. Very affordable with great options. We're vegetarians so it's not always easy going out but the wait staff was very accommodating and patient with us. One awesome thing our waitress did was bring our daughters meal out as soon as it was ready because she could tell the little one had been going all out that day and needed to eat ASAP. We didn't even have to ask. The staff really know what they're doing here especially when it comes to providing service to families with small children.

Why is Google holding my few pennies from this survey hostage for a review on the Hershey lodge? The place is very nice. Every company I've worked for has held an event there and they've always been great.

Excellent resort! All I can say, is I wish we would have booked more time here. We will definitely be going back through. We stayed there for my daughters birthday and we all had a great time. They really made her feel special for her birthday. The lodge is very nice inside and out. There are plenty of food options available right on the resort. They offer free shuttle to and from Hershey park, that runs continuously throughout the day. There is plenty to do at the resort, and the sad thing is we didn't have time to do all of them. The entire staff, that we dealt with, was extremely pleasant and helpful. The entire resort is very clean and elegant. I hope you like chocolate, because there is plenty of it here. We were very happy with our whole experience here and will definitely be back soon!

Nice place! Stayed with my husband and 3 year old over Labor Day weekend and visited Hershey Park. The room was nice and clean, bathroom needs updating. Nice to have a mini-fridge in the room but it wasn't very powerful (kept our drinks cool vs. cold). Had a breakfast package, the Bear's Den was a bit of a scramble for our first morning, they seemed overwhelmed and rushed, took longer than expected. We tried a sit down place the next morning and the experience was much better, they too had a buffet. Great shuttle service, there were waits here and there but nothing too terrible. LOVED being able to access the park an hour early, gave my husband the opportunity to hit up most roller coasters before the lines got crazy. My son had a fantastic time at the waterworks pool area, amazing amazing amenity and our room was right across it, super convenient! Would definitely come back again, perhaps next year!

Where to begin. The story of Hershey himself is amazing. The decor is dated but very functional. Access to the mini water park is a nice touch. Overall, they do try and make your stay comfortable. There are some things that need improvement, but, the staff promptly fixed those issues and made them right. Before you leave, the Hershey martini is a must!

From checking in and even having someone pick up our luggage, the service was excellent. The bell man was more like a tour guide to the lodge. He was very friendly and informative. We also arrived to our rooms with chocolate chip cookies and milk. Thanks to all the staff who made this place so pleasant.

We LOVED staying at the Lodge. It is absolutely HUGE. If you are not the best with directions, bring the map with you anywhere you go, because you WILL get lost. The whole place is like a maze. The water park is awesome. It's clean but PACKED. You can buy bear/wine at the pool bar which was really cool!!! They also have swim vests for the little ones and clean, warm towels. The food at the Cabana was really, really good!! We got a really good deal and had an amazing time!!!

The Hershey Lodge is a perfect weekend getaway for families. We took our 2 year old son for a winter trip. He had an absolute blast in the water works. While it was crowded it was never so packed that we felt impacted by the crowd. All of the restaurants served great food, at what I would expect to be typical resort prices, a bit high but not crazy enough to make me want to travel in to town instead. The rooms were spacious and very well maintained. A family of 4 would fit comfortably in a standard 2 queen room. Overall, we had a blast and plan to return in the future.

First time visiting here...& we loved it! My husband and I went to celebrate our child s 2nd birthday & we all loved every bit of it! From seeing different chocolate characters everyday to making chocolate at chocolate world to room service to checking out of our room...everything was easy to do. We spent every second having a blast. Each and every employee was happy to talk to us and help us with everything we needed. I will visit again!!

Room was good but not worth the price. Nice be greeted in lobby by characters. I stayed at Hershey Hotel as a kid but I cant figure out the value proposition at Hershey Lodge. Woukd you pay 500 bucks for 1 weeknight with park admission? Not sure the stay was worth admission for 2 adults and a 2 year old.

Home away from home. Clean, spacious rooms, kind and friendly staff, and "sweet" touches. Beds are very comfortable, and halls are quiet. Don't go anywhere without a hotel map! Halls can be confusing. They do have maps and signage in the halls as well.

We booked the lodge for a holiday getaway. With two young kids the water park being indoors was a great option. I thought the water park was colder in air and water temperature then other indoor parks I've been to. The hotel feels very disjointed with areas scattered throughout the campus. It looks like they periodically have added on to it each time thinking this is the last time. The staff is great here especially since we went over Thanksgiving. Overall a great weekend away.

Very disappointed.! First room they gave me was on the 4th floor. It was under construction! Tools and building materials in hall ways. A VERY BAD SMELL OF PAINT OR GLUES!!!! Are you guys for REAL!!!!! I complain and got a different room. Can t believe you would put people on that floor under those conditions! You made poor choices putting me in that situation! I was there for the KDS show. My 15 year. At the rates you get how did you think you could put people on that floor. Doesn t make a good vacation!

A bit costly, but includes perks like shuttle to the park as well as early access. Facilities feel a bit dated. Room was good, though we had to wait till ~6pm before we had access to room on check-in day. Kids had a blast.

Arrived Sunday afternoon a few hours early, but our room was ready. We stayed through Wednesday. It was myself, my wife and 5 yo son. We ate at the Bears Den Sunday afternoon, played mini golf and settled in for the night. The hallways were busy and some people were loud, but the foot traffic settles down after 10ish. I can't blame the families being loud on the hotel though.

Overall, the staff was friendly a d the rooms were clean. The lobby had a cabin feel to it.

I would stay here again for my next trip to Hershey.

Also, Penn State hospital is across the street in case you have any emergencies!

DO NOT STAY HERE! Waste of money!

DO NOT STAY HERE! Waste of money!
If I could give it no stars I would!
Not only do they have horrible internet you have to pay $10 a day to upgrade, bad ventilation, electrical issues, the fridge is not cold at all, it stinks, rude staff, they have BED BUGS! When we talked to a supervisor they did not care and my mom has bites all over her body!

Double queen bedroom clean and beds very comfortable ~ restaurants good food and attentive service! Most of the restaurants are centrally located around the lobby and gift shop area. A little confusing going from our room to the conference areas. But all in all a great stay!

This is a great place to stay in. the staff are really helpful and nice and there is a wide variety of resautants to go to (my personal favorite is the hersheys grill) and it is really close to the hershey park. the rooms are clean and nice and overall a great place to stay at.

We had a great time and would stay again!

The room and the bathroom were sort of small, not uncomfortable though. The TV remote didn't work when we got there and it took a long time for them to bring another. There was no microwave in the room and while staff were very helpful it was a hassle to use one. There were no extra rolls of toilet paper, though we were easily able to get one from housekeeping.

The floors needed to be vacuumed, or vacuumed better. The floor in the room was bad around the edges and the hallways, which I think had new carpet, had lots of balls of fuzz.

It was a long walk from our room, in Cocoa, to the Water Works but it was worth it. We have two girls, 7 and 9, and they loved it! There are two large twisting water slides that are fun for adults and kids. The pools are definitely geared towards kids but there's a nice sized hot tub too. The pool has different areas for all ages of kids with water spraying out in different places and lots of things to do. You can but food in the pool area too. It's more of a mini water park than a pool. There were tons of people there. It was almost too full and impossible to find chairs for all of us.

Hershey is a great place to stay with lots of places to eat and things to do! The Hershey Lodge is in a great location!

Overprices. Furniture is outdated. rooms are tiny, we needed help in setting the fan in the room, they promised a technician but nobody came to look at it. the indoor pool area is so-so. food in the local restaurants was mostly oily and the breakfast buffer is expansive and very limited. luckily we were out for most of the days, Hershey park was awesome though, so if you are going mainly for the park and looking for a place just for the night, save yourself some money and go elsewhere. at least you'll have some room to stretch.

I love Hershey lodge. The big leather chairs in front of the fire to relax in, the gift shop full of Hershey items and food, the delicious red eye coffee, the beautiful surroundings of gardens and land all attribute to going for the dog grooming conference where I spend 4 fantastic days with groomers from all over the world

Ok so first let me say I stayed at hotel Hershey a week before checking in here. Our trip was for the kids to have some fun. We have been in quarantine since March. I wanted them to just unwind and have fun. I m going to break this review down to value to amenities, water park and room.
So first value to amenities. With a reservation you get access to the waterworks area, outdoor pool, mini golf, arcade, and resort sponsored kid activities like bingo and scavenger hunt. We booked the stay swim and splash package which included arcade $$$ (88 credits) 2 towels and free kids meals at the cocoa cabana. The total cost of the package was around $200. For the value to amenities ratio I would rate a 5/5. We saved about $50 with the package so really the value was great. The mini golf is nothing really spectacular but it s a fun activity. I m surprised it wasn t more Hershey themed. The attendant did wipe down the clubs before handing them to us. Recommendation for the mini golf is to have the holes not be so deep to minimize lots of hands in one area. I know other resorts put lids on or something to avoid touching where the balls fall. The arcade is another area where additional sanitary measures are lacking. I would recommend finding in the budget money for staff to clean machines between use. I am not sure if there are hand sanitizing stations in the arcade. If there are I did not see them. Overall the arcade was nice, kids had fun. I like there were games that were play until you win. Makes it nice for younger kids. I cannot review the outdoor pool but there is an outdoor splash pad next to the waterpark that is nice. We did attend bingo. That was so much fun! Both kids I took won prizes. There was candy on the table which was a nice treat. Hershey candy of course. :). The gift store Memories is right near where the activities are held and that is a nice store. That is where i redeemed the free towel coupons. I have 3 kids but only go 2 towels. I m fine with that since the package did only say 2 towels.

Next: The main attraction... waterpark. When you enter the waterpark you are greeted by someone handing out towels. **Note that you can t take the towels back to the room with you. ** so best bring your own. You then pick out a spot. On the chairs they have a flip sign which after you leave you flip so they know to clean that area. This is a bit different from Hershey hotel. I would recommend the hotel way instead: they pick an area for you to sit and make sure you are distanced from others. I can understand where it would be harder since it s an indoor pool but that s where capacity limits come into play. Anyway the pool is setup in 5 different areas. 1.)area for toddlers , a zero entry pool that leads to I believe 2 feet. 2.)A splash ship area where there are little slides for kids. 3.)A deeper pool that I want to say goes to 4 feet 6 inches. 4.) A leap pad challenge area. 5.) Two water slides that you have to be a minimum height to ride. Pictured below. The water park for me is a 10/5. It s that much fun. We spent hours and hours in here. Only recommendation I have would be implement the social distancing better.

The cleaning staff was very nice. Our room wasn't clean when we got there, but they rectified the problem quickly and got us into a new room. The hotel was clean, and we didn't have to wait to eat. Staff at the restaurants were friendly and provided good service. The food was good. There were a few little things that could have made the experience better, such as kisses on the pillows, but all in all, it was a great experience, and we will definitely stay there again.

We stayed at a lodge for two nights. Room services were great and staff working here are pleasantly helpful and kind. Kids pool were not big at all compared to Great Wolf lodge, but just about the right size for my 6 year old. And it is well maintained. I would definitely come back for another time. Enjoy!!

It is a great place for a family trip. It does need a bit of updating in the rooms but we don't spend much time in there. We especially loved the indoor water park. It's the perfect size that you don't have to helicopter parent your child. Look forward to going there again.

Was there for Weekend to Remember . Enjoyed it very much. Food was great. Personal was nice. The only thing was toilet needed to be fixed in our room. Needs to be stabilized. It rocked and made a noise when shifting side to side. Housekeeping left what they needed to. Public restrooms were very clean. Experience was a positive one.

Kids loved the indoor waterpark at the lodge, arcade, and mini golf. Also the shuttle to Hershey park runs every 15 mins or so. Great time was had by all. Also the breakfast buffet is full of your standard favorites. For dinner we went upstairs and tried the restaurant, the steamed mussels were to die for and the hedge salad was awesome.

Rooms are tight but that was expected considering the accommodations that came with our package. They did not have a self service laundry room which was odd considering they have a pool on premises. I wouldn't want people throwing wet towels and swim clothes everywhere in a carpeted room, but what do I know. They did however recommended a public laundromat a mile away. All in all, I would stay here again, I would upgrade my room and plan with a private party for laundry services. My kids loved it and my husband and I had a great time with our boys!

Great service, amazing staff. Will certainly be back! And the best part... Everything smells like chocolate! The shampoo, the soap, the lobby, even the towels smell like chocolate. This is no small detail!

I've stayed here a couple of times before. Both of those times my experience was a lot better than this time!

Our room was absolutely filthy! There were empty water bottles and pizza crust, among other things, under the bed. They send to supervisor up, to inspect the room. She apologized profusely, and took the items that we found. She said we would have a thorough cleaning done. It was cleaned but that's all they did. We weren't given any credits, or anything, which normal hotels do.

I had some personal shower items hanging on the back of the bathroom door. They were fine for 2 days, but on the last day, before we checked out, the maid scooped them up with the towels (I'm assuming). I called and spoke with someone named June, in housekeeping. She promised to call me back. It's been 2 weeks and I've received no return phone call! Now, I have to call again and talk with someone. I'm with an organization that books this place every year. This is very aggravating!!! It's not like I can choose not to go back there again next year!

Very nice, clean, and comfortable room. Food at all of the restaurants is high quality and reasonably priced. The chocolate martinis are amazing. My only complaint? Internet is so incredibly slow, bordering on useless.

This is a very reliable location for a conference. We often have our company annual meetings at the lodge, and the food and the staff are always excellent. there are also lots of choices for the size of a room and the types of food and beverages available. Highly recommended.

Price wasn't bad. Found some bugs in our room, told the staff at the front desk. They were non apologetic about it at all. Offered to send up house keeping. I said that made no sense at all. Took $15 off the bill, but I was more upset that they didn't apologize at all.

The room was nice albeit small. Everything was clean and tidy. The new Water Works was the main reason I booked the room despite the high price. The facility is really nice and we had a great time swimming. All staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay there again.

Huge place with many rooms. Comfortable and cozy room and fireplace area. Love all the free chocolate, it wouldn't be Hershey without it! Chocolate everything, even the lotion and soaps. There's a pool area and an arcade on the second floor. There are a few restaurants connected to the lobby and a gift shop as well for buying souvenirs at your leisure. Their elevator levels were a bit confusing to us because the Lobby is on its own floor. Overall experience is great, quite Disney-esque without the ridiculously high prices. They Could have marked everything up but they don't - that scores them a heap of points in my book.

Absolutely magical, from the outside decorations and lights. To the inside fire places, and beautiful decorations. Oh and the inside water park was a huge hit with my son. He did not want to leave. My family and I are already looking to return soon.
