Hershey s Lodge is a nice facility. Spacious and clean rooms and lots to do - pool park, mini golf, basketball/ tennis courts, restaurants etc. HOWEVER, be prepared to be confused by their illogical numbering systems for rooms! You room may not be on the floors you d think and expect - be prepared for confusion and long, long, long walks . They could really do with a revamping of sequencing numbers and offer more signage inside and out. Another negative is minimal to zero shuttles even on a weekend with multiple large groups in attendance. Be sure you know how to use Uber or Lyft!

Great place to stay all the comfort of home and the food delicious.

I attended a professional event here. The conference rooms were very accommodating and comfortable. The staff was very pleasant, helpful and attentive.

This place is really cozy and friendly. Right in the middle of good old Hershey. Go Bears!

Very smooth from beginning. Jerry was the most amazing employee I've ever came across. He can make a bad situation better and a great situation greater. He was extremely helpful, easy to talk to and understand, and knowledgeable. Surprisingly, my wife went in to get checked it and ended up working with him and had the same opinion (2 for 2)!

Have to give a ding on the elevators. Or room was in the Kiss Tower. There are 4 elevators and always a wait. I ended up using the stairs almost everytime. Luckily we were only on the 2nd floor so going up and down 2 flights with the luggage wasn't the worst.

Restaurants: there are 5-6 restaurants on location so you have plenty of options. We ate at The Bear Den (dinner) and Hershey Grille (breakfast). The Den was like a sports bar atmosphere. Great food and service. No complaints. Hershey Grille was absolutely horrible; one of the worst experiences I ever had. The server rarely came. Struggled to get drinks ordered, food ordered, drink refills, check, and for her to take the payment. The wife and kids left while I waited for the check. I almost just left cash after waiting so long. Then had to wait even longer for her to take my CC. I actually asked another server to break a $20 so I could just pay and go, but or server finally came so I was stuck waiting to get my CC back. Food was OK. I had a (3) meat omelet. Instead of having it mixed, each meat was separated in the omelet as thirds. Both boys also wanted eggs with they're meal so we got one scrambled for each which was $8 total. The most expensive eggs I've ever paid for!.

Shuttle to and from the park was great. Didn't have to worry about driving or parking.

Pool area was nice boys had a lot of fun. There is also a bar in the area which was nice for the adults.

We will stay there again for the next trip to Hershey!

Warm inviting and a wonderful space for a conference

We stayed there strictly because the RV show was being held in the giant center and a shuttle service to the center was offered. The morning of the show we waited more than an hour and 20 minutes for the shuttle and when I called the front desk a woman name Heidi very rudely said the shuttle just left here and I told her the more than 2 dozen people that were standing with me waiting for the shuttle would contradict that story she once again she repeated that the shuttle had just left and refused to even look into it for us. I'll never stay at the lodge again with rude unhelpful staff I rate them with motel 6.

A little too expensive for what it is. The Bedroom was nothing special, even though is really cool to see everything in the room being about Hershey. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but honestly not worth $300 per night.
The mini golf course was very small and leafy, making it difficult to play.
However, the most disappointing thing was the breakfast. We went to one of the 2 restaurants they have for breakfast and the food was not good.
The bacon was thin, the sausage didn't have that good flavor and not even the made to order omelet was that good. I heard another guest state the coffee was horrible. Definitely not the good stuff you expect for the price they charge for it.
But hey, you get a free shuttle to the park!

It is a nice and clean place. It has a number of options for my family and I. I enjoyed my stay but make no mistake.... It does not compare to Hershey Hotel!

Came here for a work conference. Very nice, clean hotel and rooms. Nice bar just near the lobby. Place is a bit of a maze, however. Food was decent at the conference, which was provided by the hotel staff. Ample parking and easy to get to as well.

Was there for My Daughters Dance Nationals A few weeks ago Fast Friendly, Along with Good food

I like very much the place the only thing is that there are no microwave oven in the rooms and the area that has them was very far from the rooms that I. But overall I'll be back again and I recommend it to.

I come here every year for the BCI show. Great hotel even in the dead of winter. Much chocolate everywhere!

Visited Hershey Lodge for a conference. Comfortable large meeting rooms. Room for people to move around the halls. Very clean modern bathrooms.

Was here for a show in the Convention Center. Very nice. Good snacks.

Check-ins took forever, as there were only 2 members of staff at the counter, for a large amount of people. Both the regular line, and the express line were full, and we waited in line for about 45 minutes.
One of our rooms was not ready at the time we arrived, and we were told we would get a text message when it was ready. We waited over an hour, and eventually I went to speak to a member of hotel staff (after calling the concierge desk several times, and no one answered) to find out it had been ready for a good while, with no text message or phone call.
If you do stay here, I recommend that you do not let your skin touch the sheets. I woke up the next morning with rashes on my arms and legs only in areas that had touched the sheets. I've never had this reaction before, so I'm not sure what they use to clean the sheets, but my skin burned to the touch for two days. I'm not a person with sensitive skin, nor do I have many allergies to anything, so I was surprised to see my skin react in such a way.
We did enjoy the Grill, but I don't recommend the coffee shop in the lobby. Never had a iced latte so terrible. I could only take a few sips. The lower score for the review was mostly due to the poor customer service we experienced - it seemed only because of the large volume of people that were there that day. None of the staff were rude at all, and when we were finally able to get the information we needed, they were nice and helpful. Otherwise, the hotel is beautiful and clean. It seemed the other guests enjoyed the indoor pool, and other amenities. There were a lot of kids there, and it looked like they were all having a lot of fun, so it's definitely a kid friendly place. I did hear some people complain about the room sizes, but I'm not entirely sure how big they think their rooms need to be. The rooms were a great size, the bathroom was clean, and the furniture was nice.

Let me start by saying that I only came for a 3 day conference not a hotel stay. That is what my review is based on. Parking is an issue especially if attending a well attended function. Most of the parking is located in one direction, so when people leave there are long lines since there are only about two exits. Next the bathroom situation near the meeting area is lacking. There is one down around the corner and then there is one across the hall. Neither is very large for a conference that had over 2000 people in attendance.

Absolutely amazing place for visiting, conference, meetings and some celebrations

A bit pricey but what would you expect for a resort. Rooms clean and beds comfortable. When they mean checkin is at a certain time they are not kidding. We showed up early and instead of waiting left for the park and after 4 hours there and back , we still waited for check in.. very friendly staff and I prefer the Lodge as it had an awesome indoor/outdoor pool you can enjoy that our room was close to.

We always enjoy our stay here. My children love the little water park.

The lodge has very friendly and accommodating staff. The entire facility was clean and well kept. The restaurants were excellent and the food was fantastic.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We especially liked the pool, water slides and the whirlpool. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom light was blindingly bright, . There was no nightlight.

BEST HERSHEY HOTEL!!! The rooms were clean, room service was good, and the waterpark was a blast! Even though the waterpark was small, we were entertained. The park was nearby, and I loved the cocoa scented toiletries ;)

The world of chocolate! Beautiful and huge Convention Center featuring both indoor and outdoor facilities landscaping and Gardens are kept immaculate customer service is top-notch. Shuttles to anywhere and everywhere. Make sure you take the history of Hershey Chocolate tour trolley ride. Many outside things to do besides just the same attractions.

Made the booking months in advanced to ensure a room close to the convention we attended due to an elderly woman in our group they had issues and we wound up in a room far away from the convention. The room smelled like water damage. AND the A.C. Unit kept kicking off, and I don t mean kicking off like had reached it s temperature i mean like it would kick off after an hour and stay off for good. Meaning I was up every hour in the hour to turn it back on. Awful experience. Not worth the money.

Is it safe to say that Milton Hershey was a bit of a perfectionist. It is easy to see it in the staff, accommodations, food and experience that you take away from this exemplary property. We love it and will be looking forward to attending events here in the future. I highly recommend it for any and all travelers whether it's business or pleasure it's all great.

Liked the location of our room at the Lodge: close to restaurants in lobby and the convenience center. However, I would rate the room itself a one star: it smelled extremely musty, damp, and or moldy. They need to do something , perhaps Febreze for clothing, furniture and their Rugs (since on ground floor probably cement ).

Very large. Excellent children's area and pool. Restaurants on site to eat at. Room was clean but did not have a microwave.

Everything was good from the food to the pool. The room was nice and the valet parking was a nice touch. Free shuttle rides to Hershey park was also a nice perk.

Family oriented and a tranquil getaway! Staff was overwhelmingly friendly and paid extreme attention to detail about our situation. We booked the night before for an overnight stay and everything went smoothly.

I took one star off because the lodge is in need of major renovation. I can notice the dirt and stains on the carpets in the hallways. Our bathroom shower head was also leaking from the side that got water everywhere in the bathroom. Overall the lodge was outdated but still had a charm to it. Even though old, the lodge and other facilities in the area were extremely well maintained and clean. It just needs a 2000 s look to it.
Gifts in the room was a plus! Would definitely come again!

I haven't been to the lodge since August of 2019, and I cannot wait to go back in 2021. Since 2009, my family has been going to Hershey. The Lodge is such a great place for vacations, whether it be for a couple, a small family, or in my case, two parents and their children and grandchildren. The staff here are so kind, the atmosphere is welcoming, it has amazing decoration, and the food is delicious. When I pull into the driveway of this place, I always start to tear up. My childhood rests in the Lodge. Thank you for keeping this place magical.<3

The WaterWorks is really fun when you first get there before you eat dinner, and after you're finished with the park for the day.

Very clean, welcoming, accommodating to all of the needs of our large organization. Very inviting w lots of shops, meeting rooms, hospitality rooms & the central bar w the fire place was very cozy. The rooms were a little too pricey especially since u needed to pay extra for the 2nd guest.

This is our second stay at Hershey Lodge in the past year. We took advantage of the buy two nights, get one free offer. We enjoyed the stay and the water park.

Loved the accommodations. It was a great place for our conference as well. They even credited us $75 when we went up to our room and it had not been cleaned. The pool was great. And you get your exercise walking to and from the conference. It took us 11 minutes just to get the lobby from our room!

Nice rooms and Hershey really is the sweetest place on Earth!!!

Very nice place to take a vacation and relax with family or friends

Great FAMILY resort (5 stars) with plenty of kids activities. If you don't have kids, be prepared for A LOT of kids (3 stars). It's a large, historic, well maintained complex, beautifully landscaped. It's close to many Hershey and other area attractions.

Well decorated and clean place , many activities for kids, nice place to spend time in Hershey.

Nice room, good restaurants. My room was across from the water works so there was nowhere to park. Parents visiting the water works took all of the spots so you were unable to get close to your own room. I drove around for 15 minutes looking for a spot then ended up just leaving for an hour and returning. Still had to park in a different section not close to my room. If I were to go back I will request to stay far away for water works!!!

Nice enough place. I think I've been to Disney so times that I'm spoiled. Garbage in room wasn't changed, empty roll of toilet paper left in the bathroom. Little things like this bother me.

Best value amusement park and water park in the Northeast and super clean! Did I mention the world's largest candy store, Chocolate World is also here. Can't beat it!! Love Hershey!!

The concierge service was easy and fantastic to take advantage of. The dining options aren't too bad and the cafe has the best options and prices. Very family friendly but adults have their space too.

A massive hotel with an indoor water park. Learn the hotel s layout to find the way to the water park. A great place to stay with the kids, a day can go by just by spending it at the water park. Shuttle service is offered to the other spots. Complimentary tickets to the gardens and the history museum.

Not a easy place to make a delivery during the summer months

Really nice place. Layout is a little confusing at first. Has its own indoor water park (mini). Rooms were clean, and the restaurants were good. Shuttle service to and from the park.

Out of my 3 visits here, this latest one was the worst. Housekeeping was lacking. Broken ice and vending machines. Dirty rooms

Hershey lodge is great. The rooms are nice clean and the staff is always very very nice. The only complaint if any is you have to walk a bit to get from the far end to the lobby or dinner. But love the shuttle service to the park.

Very clean, service was superb and the experience exceeded my expectations. All our meals were of highest quality and every employee interaction was genuine and pleasant. Looking forward to returning soon!

Needs better restaurants; smells like cocoa everywhere

We had so much fun with the kids, the mini water pools for the kids, and adult friendly as well

I was there for my husband's Christmas party for the 4th year in a row. I have not been disappointed! The food is delicious and of course you have all the Hershey desserts afterwards! Excellent!

Place is great. Great staff. Food is good. Facilities are nice. Love the lobby.

We loved our stay. The indoor water facility is great for small kiddos, but be aware of your kiddos because some of the lifeguards were sleeping or not paying attention. We also loved that your stay came with complimentary entry to the museum, chocolate world, and gardens. It was a great visit!

Don't trust anything they tell you about your reservation. I booked a month ahead, rechecked my reservation and pre-checked in and paid the day before arrival. I booked multiple rooms for a family gathering, expressly asking to have the rooms adjacent to each other because there were a number of small children involved. I didn't get what I asked and paid for, and when I talked to the Manager he was condescending and took no responsibility for the error.

In general the hotel is poorly managed. We had problems with uncommunicated dining changes, no response to a repair request, and serious housekeeping flaws.

It's a shame because the hotel is lovely and has great amenities (the Water Park, arcade and fitness area). There were a variety of restaurants and the food was very good. We appreciated the shuttle and of course, the chocolate.

This could be a 5 star hotel with more competent management with a positive customer service attitude.

Pros: clean, no bugs.

Cons: they use flat sheets instead of fitted ones on the beds. Half way through the night they come untucked and annoying.

The meals here and over the years have been great. Our recent Christmas party meal was a bit understated when compared to prior events. The prime rib was very rare, some of us only had a very small portion of mashed potatoes, and the dessert was a bland hard ball of vanilla ice cream coated with coconut, and had Hershey's syrup on the table to drizzle over it. Again, prior years dessert was very well executed. Service by the waitstaff was excellent.
I'm going to assume this was a one time understated experience and not representative of their usual execution.

Awesome rooms, updated and clean with roomy comfortable beds ! Large bathrooms with a nice shower/tub... Very friendly staff!!! close to all Hersey attractions. Plenty on site courtesy transportation to all Hersey attractions with convenient time schedule. We visited the Zoo, amusement park, waterpark, Chocolate world. All attractions were clean, well run and most importantly alot of fun! Highly recommend!!

Great family getaway place. A favorite of my son's. We enjoy. There are some drawbacks. Rooms are a bit small and bathroom configuration is just silly (can't see how I can describe it well) and it is a bit pricey (rooms and food/drink.) But it is fun place. 3 days is my max due to prices.

Great place to bring the kids. The water park is perfect for younger children.

The service has been exceptional. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. The hotel itself is gorgeous and very clean. My room is clean and I have had no complaints. The food is delicious and room service is very quick. I have had no complaints so far with my stay.

I loved this place and I'd give it 5 stars had it not been labeled a conference center and then had a slower upload and download speed than dial up. But if that's something that doesn't concern you then this place is perfect. Everything else was without error

Friendly staff and large, clean rooms, though bathrooms are showing their age and are probably due for updating. Pool area is nice and towels are available at the pool.

A few FYI notes.... the kids check-in closed at 6pm, so my niece, who was looking forward to it, was unable to do her check-in. The building where our room was had stairs to get in the building, it wasn't easily accessible, so if someone in your party has mobility issues, make sure you let them know so you are put in a room that doesn't require walking up stairs. Related to that, the place is HUGE and signage/directions could be a bit better. Plan to do a lot of walking to get from your room to the restaurants or pool or other activities. The shuttle bus to the park is a nice perk and is air conditioned, the one note is that it drops off pretty far from the front gate, so you will have a long walk to get to/from the shuttle. Not surprising, restaurants, drinks, etc are $$$. There is a grocery store just a few minutes away. We went and got a couple of bottles of soda and snacks and put them in the room fridge.

Delicious meal at Forebay. Food was delicious, staff was on top of everything, and atmosphere was nice. Seat by the windows was appreciated!

Good convention center. Clean and well organized. Bathrooms were a ways away but plenty of them. They were well lit and clean. Catered lunch/dinner was good. They had hershey chocolate butter for the rolls which was a unique variant. They still had regular butter as well. Water and tea service did not happen. If i have a plate for food in one hand, napkins and dessert in the other it would of been nice to have someone offer water and tea.

Good service at good price! Convenient! Just seems a little rushed...
