So I m 18 years old, and went in with 3 of my friends to test drive a car. Since this was a Lexus dealership, I didn t even know if they would let me drive a car. Then I met Marcus. He was very kind to me, treated me like an adult, and took care of me and my friends very nicely. I went home, emailed him up until 10:40 at night, at which point he still responded, and helped me work a deal out that my parents were ok with. He treated me with respect, and when my parents came down to finalize deal, he was very patient even thought my parents were quite demanding. Marcus is awesome, if you go, ask for him specifically. I'm very disappointed at the way this dealer is handling issues. I called and tried to speak with a Manager or the GM several times and have been getting the same answer: They're busy but will get back to you as soon as possible. Now when you hear something like that you don't expect it to take a couple of weeks. I guarantee that if I call and request information on one of they're very expensive vehicles I'll be getting multiple calls within a day. The bottom line is I expect to be treated the same way whether I'm buying a car or having problems with a car purchased there. Herb Chambers Lexus you have lost a customer.

I was an out of state buyer. I was able to find the car I was looking for at a very competitive price. They were also willing to help me with the many additional needs I had being that I was an out of state buyer. I flew my father out to the airport and Marcus Karam s team met him with the new car and keys ready at the airport to start the drive back to Ohio. The condition was as advertised and kept the no questions asked option of returning the car if it was not as advertised. (This gave me a lot of buyer confidence being an out of state buyer without a chance to see the car in person) Herb Chambers Lexus was great to work with throughout the process.

The service was impeccable everyone in that dealership that we dealt with was professional courteous and very very knowledgeable I never do reviews but this review is being done as I drive home with my wife of course she's driving I would never text and drive although it would be safer than her driving but back to my point this place will be the only place that my wife and I purchase cars what a stress-free caring knowledgeable environment thumbs up to everyone!

Everyone knows the winter in New England can be brutal. Brutal enough that having a light, 2wd vehicle can be a death sentence. I had to find myself a safer vehicle. I spent hours and hours looking at dealerships in Rhode Island and Mass. Many dealers have such limited inventory and their 4 wheel drives are way out of my price range (30k-50k). When I came across Herb Chamber's site, I was blown away with the vast variety of vehicle options they had. I soon found the perfect SUV AWD I was looking for. I called Herb Chambers of Hingham and they quickly set me up with a test drive. I was greeted with a friendly hello and smile as soon as I walked in. I met with Mike Boden, a very down to earth and straight to the point type of guy. He owned his own dealership before, so he knew exactly what he was talking about when it came to selling used cars. We went for a test drive in the 2007 Acura MDX and I couldn't have been happier. It was the perfect vehicle for me. Extremely reliable, powerful, decent gas mileage, comfortable, and wasn't just AWD but SH-AWD (super handling all wheel drive). The price was perfect too, but I was worried about getting financing. That is when Vitor Duarte came to the rescue. He was able to work with a bank to get me financed at a reasonable rate I could afford. We even had a very nice conversation about our experiences in Brazil and how much we love the food there. Joel was great too! They even gave me an awesome deal on my trade-in, way more than I expected. I without a doubt recommend anyone to stop by HC Lexus of Hingham if your looking for a honest and professional vehicle purchasing experience. First and foremost, I don't typically write online reviews unless my experience was absolutely STELLAR. William Than from the sales department truly went above and beyond our expectations, and made the stressful time of buying a car, easy. I was so impressed with the whole staff at Lexus, and how William truly made us feel as though we were part of the Lexus family. I could not recommend him, or this dealership more. They shuffled around cars time and time again as my wife HAD to actually SEE them in the right color, until she finally settled on one. We even had a bit of snag after signing the paperwork, and decided we (she) wanted a different one. They simply shredded the original paperwork, shipped the car back to the other dealer, and we started over. William went above and beyond and I can't say enough about him. As far as the Credit department goes, we worked with Vitor Duarte. He was excellent. Extremely knowledgeable and helpful, he also did everything, and I mean EVERYTHING in his power to make sure we were happy with our car. I was a bit neurotic when it came to nicks and scratches on the vehicle (as it was a pre owned/certified car) which is to be expected. They assured me that every scratch would be out, and even worked with us to get the best possible deal on future protection for the vehicle. Truly a 5 star dealership with a 5 star team. My wife and I had the most pleasurable experience anyone could have when purchasing a vehicle. Georg S, the GM, tracked down the vehicle we were interested in and had to his dealership within hours. A couple hours later when we arrived at the dealership George let us know that we would be working with William Than. William was VERY honest and extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle and kept providing more and more information. His interaction with our 4.5 yr old son who was eating Hoodsies at his desk was incredible. it was Finance time and we had the pleasure to work with Vitor. The Sales manager, Kevin Quan, was extremely helpful. I was not an easy customer and he researched any challenge I had made about the new Lexus certification process and was able to carefully and accurately explain the details to me. Finally wrapping things up, Joel, with his friendly upbeat personality took care of the financing.

When I walked into the door I was greeted by Emile Salem and man his service was outstanding!!! True professional who aims to please. I highly recommend buying a car from him.

I had an unethical interaction with this dealer. This might be an "exception" considering the amount of good reviews it has. However, all it takes is 1 "exception" to know what this dealer is capable of.

The Finance manager, Mike, asked me to provide a check of the entire value of the vehicle while the title was NOT in HC's possession. Furthermore, HC cashed check WITHOUT any concrete date to obtain the title. My only communication from the dealer in the course of 2 weeks was limited to "we still do not have the title."

I immediately asked for a refund of the check once I realized that HC has cashed the check without the title in its possession. Despite repeat emphasis of the need for an overnight delivery in order to purchase a new car, the dealer chose the cheaper delivery option that did not include weekend delivery. Really Herb Chambers? How much money do you make from selling cars that you can't pay a couple of extra dollars to get an overnight delivery? Because of this, I will have spent 5 days working with/waiting for HC to provide my refund for something that it ILLEGALLY requested/cashed.

Buyers beware. This dealer may have nice shinning rooms and friendly receptionists, but those do not mask their willingness to cross the legal and ethical line.

Outstanding experience! I initially met with Marcus who took me for a test drive and answered all my questions. He was extremely acccomodating and I felt he was honest and focused on me making the right vehicle choice. Then, I worked with Vitor the finance manager who also provided exceptional service. He patiently walked me through every step of the paperwork, layed out all my options and got me a great rate.
