Everyone knows the winter in New England can be brutal. Brutal enough that having a light, 2wd vehicle can be a death sentence. I had to find myself a safer vehicle. I spent hours and hours looking at dealerships in Rhode Island and Mass. Many dealers have such limited inventory and their 4 wheel drives are way out of my price range (30k-50k). When I came across Herb Chamber's site, I was blown away with the vast variety of vehicle options they had. I soon found the perfect SUV AWD I was looking for. I called Herb Chambers of Hingham and they quickly set me up with a test drive. I was greeted with a friendly hello and smile as soon as I walked in. I met with Mike Boden, a very down to earth and straight to the point type of guy. He owned his own dealership before, so he knew exactly what he was talking about when it came to selling used cars. We went for a test drive in the 2007 Acura MDX and I couldn't have been happier. It was the perfect vehicle for me. Extremely reliable, powerful, decent gas mileage, comfortable, and wasn't just AWD but SH-AWD (super handling all wheel drive). The price was perfect too, but I was worried about getting financing. That is when Vitor Duarte came to the rescue. He was able to work with a bank to get me financed at a reasonable rate I could afford. We even had a very nice conversation about our experiences in Brazil and how much we love the food there. Joel was great too! They even gave me an awesome deal on my trade-in, way more than I expected. I without a doubt recommend anyone to stop by HC Lexus of Hingham if your looking for a honest and professional vehicle purchasing experience. Now I can feel proud and safe when I drive down the snowy roads of Rhode Island! All thanks to Mike, Vitor and Joel down at Herb Chambers Lexus of Hingham!
