First time ever visiting this place. I am from Pennsylvania so I love any exhibits that feature Horticulture. But I have to say it was a bit disappointing. Because I am used to exhibits as the Philadelphia Flower Show or Longwood Gardens, this particular gardens in Denver was a little bit of a letdown. I thought it would be much bigger and a little more exciting. Even though I still kind of enjoyed the exhibits and took some awesome pictures. But I couldn't really enjoy my time there because I felt as though I was being stalked by an employee. Everywhere I ended up, he was standing right across from me. I got a chance to get a little close and write down his name(Russell R)
But I felt completely uncomfortable with this person(staff) following me around the whole place up until I left. Because of that experience, I won't ever set foot there again!

Wow I can't say enough about this place! It's stunning, our team had a meeting in their solarium for a day and the service was exceptional, the spot impressed us all (our favorite meeting location yet), and despite it being their free entry day with lots of traffic it remained pleasantly quiet. You can't miss an inch of this place, seriously. If you can, GO!

Blossoms of Lights (Christmas light display) was an amazing way to spend New Years Eve with the family. The only thing that could have made it better was warmer weather. 7 degrees was a little cold. We still enjoyed it, especially with the light through the snow.

The Botanic Gardens were lovely , 5:30 was the perfect time . It was hot but the sun was going down so it made the walk feel amazing . Too bad the building are closed , hopefully they open back up soon.

Great place to see all the flowers and plants. plenty of places to sit down and enjoy the atmosphere. They even have a little restaurant where you can get a bite to eat and something to drink. I'm definitely going back.

The gardens were fantastic. Everything was so beautiful! And the educational additions were a wonderful touch. We spent over 4 hours here, and still felt like we could spend 4 hours more. We would highly recommended this place for any kind of outing.

My wife and I were highly impressed with the Botanic Gardens and learned a lot! What's even more impressive is that, even as amazing as the current facility is, they are preparing to rebuild part of it into a massive, even more impressive facility offering education and more. The Japanese garden and the Water Garden are beyond amazing.... And if you can make in time for the "Pixelated" art exhibit, it's amazing.

A very nice place to spend an afternoon. Check their website or call to find out about their free entry days, as we luckily visited on a free day. The green house is really cool but super humid, as it should be. Quite crowded on weekends, but has a large patch of grass for you to chill out if you need a break. Good vibes.

Unexpectedly awesome. We really enjoy botanic gardens, but thought, "$12!?" And then you get it and realize why- it's large and beautiful! $12 is quite a deal. We went 5 days ago, early March when it's still winter, and were still really taken with both the conservatory and the outdoor gardens. And they have a library that we could have spent days in! Really, if you like plants and gardens, you need to check this out!

I love the Denver Botanic Gardens all the displays of flowers were blooming and a lot were identified with signs so you know what kind of flowers they were. The water lilies were in bloom and they also have some sculptures that were interesting.

The place is just beautiful. Today is a free day and it's not too crowded, but that could be because it's winter. There are still a lot of plants to look at despite it being winter. Most of the outdoor stuff is dead through or I guess just out of season. Still very fun and very pretty.

Great and Beautiful place. I would give this a 5 star experience, but upon arrival my wife and I were walking in when a Greenpeace person started trying to sell us and tell us we need to donate, and he was in our personal space. We were very disappointed that they Gardens would allow someone to loiter and harass people as they are trying to have a peaceful day. Please stop people from loitering and harassing people trying to enjoy there day...

Beautiful, so much in one spot. At a reasonable price. The gift shop is very lovely.
As I was walking through the many gardens I noticed many workers pruning and getting rid of the dead plants. You can tell it is the pride of Denver. Very well taken care of.

The Orchid show was wonderful. The gentleman who was selling them was knowledgeable and helpful. Also, it was a beautiful day to do some speed walking, even though most of the plants are dormant.

Visited as the Flora Cadaver was closing. It was the perfect day outside and the walk through the gardens was intoxicating. Each space was unique and beautiful and it was worth the $12.50 for two adults. I wouldn't take toddlers to the main gardens because I saw lots of Mama's struggling with the strollers through the tighter paths, but we saw a children's garden across the street. I would love to come back in each different season.

An oasis of peace and quiet in the middle of the desert Metropolis of a big city. It's difficult to put into words the excellence and grandeur of this place. A place of refuge in the stormy seas of city life.

One of the best botanical gardens I ve visited in the country. Worth every penny of taxpayer and entry money! Though I personally haven t enrolled in any activities here, I also know there are ample opportunities to learn, grow, or take up a hobby. A must-visit for an enjoyable nature walk in the city, or the occasional romantic date night.

Truly stunning garden. Went there for a concert, and the venue was amazing running area of the potato gardens was breathtaking.

The gardens themselves are well taken care of and truely amazing.

I would recommend going if you're in the Denver area. If you plan on going be sure to block off a good amount of time as when we went we spent almost 3 hours walking through.

There is something beautiful to see all times of the year, but spring through frost will be the nicest for the outdoors. The outdoors Japanese garden is beautiful year round. They also have a tropical indoor garden year round and special events throughout the year.

Beautiful throughout the year! The Denver Botanic Gardens holds an amazing collection of plant specimens from around the world. Lovely to visit during the summer, spring, and fall, but the special events are all a treat too!

This place is our go to it has a little bit of everything from gardens to Little walking areas. We especially love the Children s garden across the street because it is so kid friendly and has a small picnic area as well as interactive activities for kids to play at!

It is a nice venue, great place for a wedding. I've lived in denver a year now and finally decided to take a trip to the botanic gardens this weekend (I've been begging the hubby to go for months). Some of the most beautiful (to me anyway) parts of the gardens were blocked off during our visit, due to a wedding. I didn't want to check out alpine rock gardens, but was kind of forced to due to wedding setup
Overall it's a nice effort - lots of plants in one place. Not as many tropical and subtropical varieties of plants as I was hoping for - they have a beautiful greenhouse full of tropical plants, including the corpse flower - But you can't get inside! You have to stand out, on the sidewalk, competing with little kids for a view of the plant(s). Its underwhelming for someone who LOVES plants and has a collection of trees and flowers that are decades old.

I really enjoyed my walk through the Denver Botanical Gardens. There are a number of themed areas with different decorations and plants to see. It is a great place to stroll through with friends or if you need a bit of time to yourself.
