Nice garden with a vast variety of vegetation and flower to look at. We happened to go on a "Mushroom Appreciation Day", and they had a convention-esqe event in the main hall packed with mushroom lovers.

There are also some pretty good candidates for wedding venues here, and some areas seem catered towards this in particular.

The only real issue I had is that it doesn't feel very immersive. You kinda just wander around until you leave and then wonder if you saw everything. There was one attraction we stumbled across on our way out by accident, so having more defined trail/paths would be great.

All in all, great experience!

What a lovely day to spend at the gardens! It's been 10 years since visiting last and they have done a fantastic job with the grounds, updates, new facilities and interactive garden for kids. I will be returning again soon!

One of the largest botanic gardens that I have ever been to; we didn't nearly see half of it. I went after a recent hail storm so, some of the plants were wiped out. However, the gardens were still beautiful and I cant wait to go back and see more of them.

This place is a must-see if you have some time to check out Denver - close to downtown, not expensive, very cool sights and exhibits, peaceful natural setting, small animals when I've been there - check it out!

A nice place to just go and relax and take everything in. The Botanic gardens I'm Denver sits on 24 acres so it's a good experience to go and take in all the wonderful plants and flowers from around the world and get in a little exercise too

I purchased tickets about a month ago because last year we just showed up and it was sold out. Well, they are SUPER disorganized and we planned a nice date night and had dinner at Pete's around the corner and then got over the the Gardens and drove around for 35 minutes with a mess of traffic in the area and NO PARKING anywhere. We finally drove past the entrance with a line about 2 blocks long and said screw it and came home. I am super upset about this and I am going to try to get a refund on the tickets. Don't even stress yourself out. It's probably worth going if you have patience and time. This should be better orchestrated. Disappointed.

This is my go-to place for centering my soul. We held our son and daughter-in-law's rehearsal dinner on the patio near the Monet Pond. Magical place to start a new life. I love the calm of the Japanese Garden, the prairie and the tropical atrium. The latter brings back memories of Costa Rica. I visit here often, to get ideas for my garden, but really to get ideas for my life's path.

Visited during school holidays, so was a bit busy, however the highlight for me was the Japanese Garden and that area of the Garden as they seemed to be more mature, less manic and incredibly calming. Parking was a bit problematic, ended up street parking after checking restrictions.

If you like plants and flowers you ll like this place...else there are ton of things to do in Denver. This place has cafe/food and multiple water fountains... you can carry your own food/drink. This place also has a garden for kids where they can play...this is a good place for picnic too!

I love the Denver Botanic Garden their displays are beautiful and there is always something different to see. The concerts that are held there are great too. It is great that they built the new parking garage. One of my favourite places to visit in Denver.

We came here for their Halloween "Garden Glow" event, and even though it was snowing, raining, and freezing, the gardens were still gorgeous. I'd love to come back again when it's warm and sunny.

Beautiful island of nature in the city! You should definitely spend couple of hours here and just walk around. Make sure you sit on the random benches to watch and listen nature. This place also has very good food options and cute gift shop! A must see in Denver!

Out of my visit to Denver, this was definitely the best place by far. The gardens were outstanding. The space was very well used, and the on-site cafe had great food and smoothies. This is a must see when visiting Denver. There was a giant pool where dragonfly larvae were emerging from the water by the hundreds. A red tailed hawk was hanging out in one of the gardens, totally nonplussed by all the visitors. There was a tropical conservatory which was huge and amazing.

There was a cactus building, the science pyramid was great. It was very informative. The informational postings on the research being done at the gardens was very informative, and it made me appreciate the scientific value of the space.

Love love love these gardens (and I visit a lot of botanic gardens). :)

Beautiful gardens, well maintained, lots to see. Would be 5 stars except the map could be clearer and there's so many little paths going off every which way that it's so hard to make sure you see everything. Spent 3 hours and still felt like we missed parts.

Fun.

We were on holiday and I only budgeted us two hours for here before the next venue on the agenda. We stayed much longer! What a fantastic surprise this place was. I could have spent a week here. So many wonderful plants, and the design is very well thought out. As an advocate of growing your own food I was very happy to see their vegetable garden as well. The restaurant had excellent tasting food, but wasn't overpriced like most attractions. This is good fun alone, with a friend or loved one, or even the kids in-tow. Don't forget all the cool stuff in the gift shop. I really wanted a framed butterfly, like the one I had seen in the Rose Garden, but I didn't know how I would get it home safely traveling by plane.

Bravo DBG! I cannot wait to go back.

I'm so happy this hidden gem is open all-year round. The Botanic Gardens are not just for summer time, they have lights and regularly scheduled events all year round! I recently went over the Dia de los Muertos celebration and it was decorated nicely along with interactive activities for families and kids. The greenhouse is always beautiful and accessible. Come here on a casual weekend to enjoy the beauty of plants - you can even pack a lunch! The Botanic Gardens allows outside eats and treats.

Love the greenhouse!!! There is actually a plant on the top floor and back side of the building that is hooked up to a sensor so it's energy makes music. Touch the plant and the tones change. Amazing!!!
