This is 5 stars and large. Enjoyed it and seeing the attractions. Kids side is neat. Definite go to.
Best day ever with my daughter, will never forget it
Beautiful place and usually have some interesting exhibits going on.
Always a get-away. All seasons. Excellent new bronze sculpture exhibit Human|Nature.
Beautiful and relaxing. The gardens are always changing and new exhibits keep it interesting. Check out the concerts as well, there are frequently some gems that stop in for an intimate show.
This is a great place! Its beautiful! Nice restaurant, nice gift shop. It is great to stroll around the gardens and sit on a bench to relax. Kid friendly!
What a beautiful place. I've been to Denver many times and this is the first time I visited. I will definitely go back.
Was at the gardens recently for the holiday lights and was very impressed!
One of the better botanical gardens I've been to. Lots of weddings taking place the day we went. Inexpensive entry.
The Blossoms of Lights are well worth the cool nights to see. Great for the family
Number 1 Botanical gardens in the country! Plus concert venue to boot!
A very nice experience. I even love going in the fall and winter. It can be a quiet place.
Great place to bring family and friends. Tropical section is super refreshing in dry Denver.
This place is very likeable by both kids and adults.
Always amazed by the array of flowers in every season
Beautiful gardens, clean space, interesting art installations, good food
Love the gardens. In addition to getting married here, we visit at least five times per year. It s gorgeous year round with their Glow event in the fall and Christmas light display in the winter. June-October is my favorite time of the year to visit, but with their changing art installations, you really can t go wrong visiting at any time of the year. They ve completed a great deal of renovations in the last five years as well. There s a great indoor cafe option as well as an outdoor eating area. The big grassy area towards the front of the gardens is great for the outdoor concerts as well as an area for little ones to stretch their legs and where we typically sit to have a snack.
The kids area on the opposite side, next to the parking garage (Mordecai gardens) is fantastic in the summer. Has a sand pit, a little river with bridges, a rock structure with drawbridge and a big pond at the bottom of the children s area. perfect for toddlers and kids to explore for a couple hours.
The gardens is by far my favorite place in Denver!
I honestly love this place it s a wonder to go any season of the year
Absolutely amazing! 14000 different plants! I Learned about the existance of plants I didn't even know existed prior. Wow.
Absolutly beautiful!! Especially enjoyed the Japanese gardens! If you get a chance visit. This place is huge though, so make sure you put on your comfy shoes
I was there for my college class. It is a lovely place to be. Be sure to bring your own water, maybe food and an umbrella. The food can be expensive but that is expected. An umbrella will help block the sun and possible rain.
This is a must see! This place was so beautiful and the gift shop is really unique and offers some great products!
So wonderful! Perfect time of the year. Everything was in bloom and perfect! Tons of paved paths goes wheelchairs also!
Gorgeous winter light show! I haven't been there in the summer but the light show in wintertime is stunning and well worth the cold! I highly recommend this stop on any winter trip to Denver. I'm sure it's beautiful in summer too! :)
Very beautiful and serene, we went in early spring before the outdoor gardens we're in full bloom but it was still very lovely. I can't wait to go back when the weather is warmer and everything is in bloom.
Always a great place to explore and enjoy nature, no matter the season.
Beautiful even with a foot of snow on the ground. Free parking across the street.
What a great place. I could spend all day there. Flowers were beautiful, plants were gorgeous.
My favorite place to visit again and again in Denver. I could come here every day. The biodiverse planting is amazing and the staff, library, classes, and other resources are a bonus.
Such a beautiful place, a must see for any traveler.
Last week we had hail, but the gardens were still fabulous. They have added water features in many places, so streams, fountains, and ponds greet you along the paths. Check to make sure a concert or event doesn't ruin your plans, unless you were savvy and are attending. They have a beautiful venue for outdoor events. Easy, flat walks and wheelchair accessible.
Having been both in the summer and for the winter holiday lights, we've had nothing but good experiences at the Denver Plant Zoo (yes, that's what we call it). The spaces are always well cared for - the plants (or lights depending on the time of the year) are absolutely beautiful, the staff is friendly and helpful. We also enjoy watching the wildlife and checking out any of the educational programs they have available. Frequently the parking garage seems full, but we always manage to find a few spots available.
Much larger than I thought and the staff I asked questions to was really informative.
Beautiful gardens provide a wonderful place to unite with nature in the midst of a busy city
The most amazing botanical gardens I've ever been to!!!
Went for the Christmas lights show. That's usually not my thing, but they did a really nice job of keeping it interesting.
One of my family's favorite places to go in Denver. They have amazing outdoor gardens and we especially love children's garden!
Very pretty place to visit, lots of different flowers and vegetation. It was super chill.
Beautiful place. When my brother with his family came to Colorado, it was one of the places I wanted to show him. We had a really good time here strolling and watching well-maintained garden plants. It was Saturday and we saw a few weddings. Great place for photo session. Would highly recommend visiting!
The Botanical gardens are an awesome place for a family day with lots of plant life from around the world! Some areas might be closed for events, so Its worth checking the availability before you go.
So beautiful here! And lots of information if you enjoy reading about the plants.
Great to see so many different plants and flowers. Nice winding paths that took us through the whole park.
Awesome place to take pictures and learn about different types of plants!
We made a last-minute decision to take advantage of the free day, and despite the crowds, we had a great time! This was almost the best time of the year for the Japanese Tea Garden. The bonsai were one of my favorite exhibits, but the funny thing is that in the 20-odd years of coming here, I've yet to see the tea house actually open for tea!
Still had a great time, though.
Great place, plenty to see and great places for the kids to run around, and cool off. My son loves it!!
This was my first time at the Denver Botanic Gardens. I attended with my parents for the Christmas lights show.
I have to say that it was MAGICAL.
For the time you are there, you will forget that you are in the middle of the city. During parts of it, it even felt like being far, far away in some Magical light filled Christmasy enchanted mountain place.
My description seems a little far fetched. But if you go to the Christmas light show, you will understand.
Lots of lights but also lots of people. If you like walks of lights during the holidays it's a worth while experience. Dress warm if it's cold out!
Wow!!! This place is most definitely a must! Absolutely amazing.
highly disappointed! Paid for ticket to see the most of exhibits are closed for privated event. If you close for privated event then why charged for ticket. Waste of money and time for nothing. Not recommend!!!
