Plants were a little on the pricier side, which I could have handled as the $ goes to DBG. Quite unfortunately, I planted a tree purchased at the sale, and then we had a snowstorm. There was no one at the DBG to speak to, so I called Pat Hayward, the Executive Director of Plant Select, since it was a plantselect tree, and I wanted to know how to care for it so it wouldn't crack. She laughed AT me, asked me why I had planted it, then proceeded to chide me ("You knew the storm was coming!"). I didn't know, actually - had been dealing with another emergency and not watching the news. No thanks for buying plant select, no empathy, just laughing and chiding. How incredibly unprofessional. I will never buy another tree at the sale.

Great place. The conservatory is particularly nice, with lots of rainforest plants, a multi-level series of platforms in a tree, and even some ducks. There is a waterfall that is nice to read by. There is a level of membership that will get you and a guest in - of you think you'll be bringing visitors here even just a couple of times, it'll quickly pay itself off.

The Denver Botanical Gardens are wonderful. I went for the first time in 20 years and it was so worth it. I noticed there was a pretty reasonable mix of folks, both young and old. The amphitheatre was a great place to go and take a nap in the sun, lots of benches to sit, and lots of wonderful plants to look at.

I love coming here! It's so relaxing to spend an afternoon being around the beautiful flowers and gardens. It can get quite busy on the weekends, so I would recommend trying to go during the week if you can!

So. Beautiful. So much for so many interests. If you like walking, this place has a lot of it. You can probably get 1.5-2 miles out of it. The Japanese garden was great and the koi fish we're so big. They follow you around too! The Pixel art exhibit was ok, sort of out of place but the Gnome and Deer made me laugh. Memberships are reasonable and considering how much space there is you can find a nice spot for a picnic or to read or whatever.

The perfect place to spend a sunny day over the weekend. I take my family there as much as I can and this place never gets old. Every time we go there we see new views, new blossoms, like breathing new air.

Indoor and outdoor gardens, indoor and outdoor restaurants, sloped grassy area for kids to run and roll, and quiet trails through woodsy areas... A great place to find both grandiose and miniature forms of beauty in nature.

Super pretty, very clean. Big open space/hill for kids to run around. Lots of water fountains for drinking (we were unprepared and didn't bring water!). Parking was a pain because it was super crowded, but the gardens didn't feel crowded at all.
We loved it! Lots to look at!
