My visit here was Thanksgiving weekend. The day started out sunny, but turned cold and windy about an hour later. The outdoor plants were dormant (dead to the rest of us), but the indoor exhibits, the house and the glass sculpture were great. I d like to come back when everything is Aline and thriving.

The Denver Botanic Gardens remains one of my favorite spots in Denver. It is truly an oasis in the city. There are few things better than a early morning or late evening stroll through these beautiful gardens. It is perfect for couples, families or someone who just loves nature. I highly recommend the Japanese garden....it is stunning and after all these visits is still my favorite.

A huge, beautiful botanical gardens. Many different areas to explore and discover. Really easy to get around even for persons with mobility issues. Highly recommended if you're in Denver.

Pretty cool spot to come for an afternoon if you re not sure what else to do. The Bonsai garden was my favorite part. We spent 2 hours here and it really flew by, the place is quite big. Nice little afternoon getaway. Worth seeing.

One of the nicer botanical gardens I've ever went too. Half off admission the Saturday we went was really nice. Features a tropical bio dome, and exterior gardens of vegetation from different regions and climates. Bonsai garden too!

Extremely large and diverse garden. Has many areas to sit, themed areas, two places to get refreshments, and a lot of water incorporated into their presentations. A bonus is the indoor tropical garden! Great place!

Above average. Went to the night lit version. A long walk with lighting placed within all the plants and trees. Good stuff for family. Don't go when it's supposed to be cold/windy, the walk will be miserable.

From an indoor tropical rain forest, to a bonsai tree garden, serene water features, and an amazing edible garden (from which all produce is donated to local food charities), a day in the Denver Botanic Gardens is well worth the price of entry. I have my own small garden, and absolutely loved all the varieties vegetables, herbs, fruits, etc. - especially the hot peppers (purple serranos!), bells (Cajun red), and tomatoes. My only regret was not having enough time to spend here.

This place is great! It's very relaxing to stroll the grounds and check out plants and wildlife. They do a fantastic job of having things to see all year round. Plenty of indoor and outdoor activities.

Put on a jacket, gloves and a hat if it's cold and get ready to enjoy your walk

Very pretty, and well worth the look. A huge variety of plants, organised into sections based upon where they grow etc. Good areas for children to play and interact/learn. Lots of benches scattered around to rest. Quite a few weild rabbits and squirrels live here, as well as coy in the pond area in the top right corner. Restaurant has cool drinks and reasonable food. It is quite a journey to see everything, so wear comfortable shoes and be prepared. My only gripe is that a lot of the plants aren't labelled, so you're not always sure what you're looking at.

A wonderful way to spend some time during the day... Especially if you are a plant nerd! It tends to get hot in the open areas, so consider picking up one of their awesome popsicles (I got the )!

We definitely want to return in better weather, when plants are bloomed. The waterways were emptied, and the big tree was being worked-on, but it was still a peaceful walk. Be mindful that areas are muddy! Nice stuff in their shop to peek at.

First class gardens and greenhouses. Beautiful landscape design throughout. Enjoyed how the different areas flow together gracefully. The best time of the year to visit is in April as the tulips and hyacinths reach their peak, or mid-summer when everything else is in full foliage.

It was free admission when I went but totally worth paying to walk around. Such beautiful flowers and trees and love the benches that are tucked away for a nice quiet and relaxing day. Perfect place to go for a first date I believe.

The place is beautiful all the time. Their special events are worth the visit. If you're a garden/flower kind of person, you'll definitely love it. Even if you're not, it's still a place you'll enjoy to see.

This place is amazing! I've never seen so many different regions and plants! The alpine and the cactus sections were quite surprising! Beautiful benches to sit and enjoy the surroundings. Monet section is just incredible. The gift shop is really lovely too!

While I have been to the Denver Botanic Gardens many times (and thoroughly enjoyed myself every time), my last trip was to attend a birthday party at the Morrison Discovery Center. The Morrison Discovery Center is warm and spacious, and quite frankly a perfect little place for a child's party in the winter. With a greenhouse house attached, guests can relax and take in the beauty of tropical plants. The party room itself is spacious and has a full kitchen which is conveniently stocked and labeled with anything you could need. The outside courtyard is great for imaginative playtime and with the winter sun it was just right for getting out the wiggles. I would highly recommend the Morrison Discovery Center as a fun place to gather for a child's birthday party or scout meeting place!

Beautiful place to take your date, or your family if you've gotten past dating :0) There are a variety of different types of landscapes that are presented there. If you can afford it, a great place to have a wedding!

I would definitely not recommend, especially around this time of year. Everything was dead and everything was closed. Would not want to spend my money again. Refund would be nice but I doubt it.

An absolutely great place to get away from the hectic chores and responsibilities that come with everyday life. My girlfriend and I took a trip to the Botanic Gardens in September and we did not regret it one bit. If you're looking to "escape," this is truly a beautiful, well-upkept scenic area with plenty of nature to admire. There are so many different types of plants and flowers, lots of trails to explore, the landscape is expansive, there are both indoor and outdoor exhibits, and, not to mention, a Japanese style garden with a small lake and lily pads. The science observatory was a nice addition to the gardens, which gave informative displays on space, planets, and butterflies. As an added bonus, they have live music concerts if you are interested in that as well. In my opinion - you can't go wrong with the restaurants either, which have a great selection of food such as wood fired pizza, which we ordered and was fantastic, burgers, salads, chicken and Italian pasta, tuna, and vegetarian meals as well. This is the perfect place for a date to really connect with the person you're with, because the atmosphere and environment promote light and peaceful conversation. The gift shop was very cute as well, and I highly enjoyed the artistic picture frames, candles, and other home decor that it had to offer. The price for admission is reasonable as well, so I can't complain! This is a must visit family-oriented attraction for anyone traveling through Denver, or for residents themselves who have never been.

We booked the Woodland Mosaic for our wedding. The process was pretty straight forward, they accommodated our shorter than normal time line, and were super helpful! I cannot thank JoLeah and Christine enough for their help, support, and enthusiasm. They really made us feel welcome and valued.

This is a lovely place. The green house has some beautiful exotic plants inside, even half of the ayuasca recipe. And the grounds are also beautiful to look at. The Japanese garden is breathtaking and is worth the price of admission alone(student and military discounts available). A good size garden for your hearts desires, go check em out.
