A great way to spend a day in Denver. A nice spot to take someone who is visiting. My in-laws love it here. Very well-maintained, huge garden space. We also grabbed a tea at the outdoor cafe and it was wonderful.

This is a beautiful and peaceful place to share special events or a lunch in the green with your favorite someone. Open and spacious, the Botanical Gardens unearth the beauty of nature at your fingertips. Find a moment to venture through, this is more than beautiful flowers.

Inexpensive fun!!! One of the last attractions in Denver that doesn't cost a fortune. Expect to walk a lot. Parking can be a pain on summer weekends but during the week not too bad. There is a garage across the street, off Josephine, and it has a convenient walk way right to the front doors. Indoor and outdoor gardens, so plenty to see all year.

So my husband and I parked at the closest Target and took an Uber the rest of the way. Good thing cause parking was completely full. Bring some walking shoes and maybe a hat, gets kinda toasty. Overall great venue! A lot to see and take in. They really make sure you have an experience, especially in the rainforest area. Make sure to bring plenty of water, some of the fountains didn't work. Worth a visit!

I've been to a number of botanical gardens and as nice as they are, I have always felt underwhelmed; until I came here! What a fantastic place! I think it's the way they use the water throughout the park. This is a must see destination in Denver.

We were married at the Botanic Gardens at York Street, and had a ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner all outdoors. Everything went without a hitch - and we loved working with Thomas who helped coordinate the timing and many of the small details we wouldn't have known to think about. Our guests continue to rave about the venue, the beautiful sunset and the weather which thankfully was not too hot with some cloud cover. Although there were other visitors around (and we had some difficulty finding privacy for a first look), the gardens are big enough to where you can find spots throughout the day and evening to sneak away if you want more pictures without others in the background. Highly recommend!

What an amazing gem in Denver. We had no idea how huge and amazing this place was. After spending the afternoon here we signed up to be members (we normally pick a different place every year) so we could come back and see the gardens change with each season.

This place is incredible! We happened to be in Denver on a free admission day. After parking several blocks away due to severe lack of parking for this event (totally not upset and I'm sure the parking is sufficient for normal days) we were astounded by the variety and beauty of the plants. If you are in the area, GO!

Beautiful gardens with a wide variety of plant life! I enjoyed the Japanese garden and the scripture garden as well as the ellipse containing a stunning Chihuly piece. The herb garden smelled divine with everything from bright citrus scents to savory sage overtones. The Hive was a perfect place to sit for a few moments in the shade while sipping on a delicious raspberry slush! I thought it was really neat that almost everything from The Hive was compostable, even my plastic cup!

I loved this place, it's absolutely gorgeous, a good place to go if you're bored or want to go for a walk with beautiful visuals. If you come here during the fall or winter months, bring a sweater!

You will need more than 1day if you want to see it all... amazing place. I'm not even really into "plants and flowers " but I was fascinated.
Oh, at the cafe, try the brick oven cooked pizza, it's fantastic!

This is a spring/summer/fall must do if you are out visiting Denver. The gardens are expansive with many different experiences within.
I took my parents when they visited and it was one of my mothers favorite things we did.
I also like to go to the holiday hand craft event. Great way to shop for the holidays and support local and or small businesses.

Visited during the holiday's for the lights... Amazing! Came back this Spring with one of the Botanic Garden's members - How beautiful! Definitely looking into buying a membership. I can see this a great place to relax, meditate and do yoga. Very relaxing and beautiful! Great location in the Capitol Hill (East Downtown) area of Denver, just East of Cheeseman Park. Parking is free! There are places to eat and a great gift store.

My wife and I toured the gardens on our first day in Colorado for a short weekend trip. The garden featured a wide variety of flowers that were beautiful. The bonsai area was my favorite part of the gardens. We ate at the hive cafe and they had some good food.

Happy we stopped at the Denver Botanical Garden killing thyme before our flight. Allow 2 or more on hours. You'll want to walk all the paths and check every nook & tree. It's a magical place in a downtown urban neighborhood. A wonderful surprise. A must while in Denver.

Very beautiful gardens. Morning is not so busy but some paths might be a little muddy as they water in the morning. Many varieties of plants and flowers to see. Lots of different paths to take so you don't feel like everyone is in the same place.
