Plants. plants plants plants! I have enjoyed my individual+1 membership for the past three years.
The Botanic Gardens has the most beautiful light display! We usually dine somewhere nearby and then get a Lyft over because parking there is usually challenging, but decided this year to check near the gardens and we actually found parking really close. It wasn't too cold when we went but the crowds weren't that bad. There are plenty of local fare dining options close by, so we usually make it an outing with dinner and then a stroll through the gardens. I think most of the time slots were sold in advance, so definitely get tickets in advance. Of course we'll be back again!
The food is great: good beef mince cooked to perfection and garnished with the right veggies and a delicious sauce. The french fries are of the best quality. Recommended!
I try to visit the Botanic Garden every time I'm in Denver. Finally made it to the Blossom of Lights, which was great. I can't imagine how long it took to string all the lights!
Went as guests of our friends who are members. We could not see much, as we were there for the Xmas Lights. Very fine time, and we can tell it's an amazing place. Loved the interactive light exhibit.
I recommend this place to anyone who loves nature, taking pictures or just strolling through a nice scenery. I had a great time finding hidden spots to picture and pretty plants to portrait. The parking is a bit tricky, as the garage in front of the place fills up fast, but you can get a space if you wait long enough (or you can park in nearby streets and walk longer)
Gorgeous local attraction. Well worth visiting regardless of resident status.
Well kept, impressive displays, and fun, kid-friendly events.
This is a very personal point of view ... I didn't like it ... it's a must see in Denver ... but ... this garden is missing a lot
This is honestly probably one of the best botanical gardens in the United States. They have a great setup for all times of year, but the Christmas lights are a real treat.
The lights are amazing well done and the number of people that make it through every night is amazing. This is such an event to see, I highly recommend it to everyone.
Wow what a beautiful place. We spent a lovely afternoon wandering, enjoyed the cafe and despite the heat found the gardens very soothing.
Beautiful, calm, and enjoyable year-round. My wife and I were engaged at the gardens, and we've been members for over 4 years (we've lived in Colorado for just over 6 years).
Food/drinks cost as you'd expect, but you're welcome to picnic as well!
Went during March where a vast majority of the plants were dead due to the snow and cold. The only ones thay seemed alive and well were the ones inside the buildings and the trees. Nonetheless, the potential is definitely there. The layout of the gardens is nice and there was a good variety of plants (even though most were dead). Make sure to go during the warmer months to get the best experience possible.
A nice and spacious garden in the heart of the city
One of my favorite getaways right in the middle of town!
World class garden! My favorite is the water garden with the lilies. Plenty of carnivorous plants on exhibit, too. Could spend all day there.
Great in the springtime. If you have a membership it's a perfect place for a picnic. Laid out specifically to not make it feel crowded even when it's busy
Very beautiful...really enjoyed the sights...must see it in the spring !
Christmas lights were beautiful. Had a great time with family.
Christmas lights were amazing. Hot cocoa, 3d glasses (bring cash)
Beautiful place, happy to be living next to such a wonderful place.
Great place to go. Pleasant experience, the people who work there are knowledgeable, and friendly. And the plants are beautiful year round. There's always something to see if you're just looking for a relaxing day outdoors.
Had a nice lunch at the Hive. Then enjoyed walking in the Gardens. Another great concert by Mary Chapin Carpenter. Best venue ever for shows like this.
Outstanding place to go to when you want to get out and enjoy life and see nature really nice
Went to se the blossom of lights the time was 6 but there was not enough parking so after trying to get a parking spot we left with out seeing the lights they need to provide more parking maybe they can use some of the parking at the cherry creek mall and run a shuttle back and forth I would even pay 5 dollars for the shuttle so I wasted 38. for nothing won't go back till they fix this problem
What a great experience the out door gardens r exsquisit a nice time as long as it's not to hot.
Plan to spend a few hours here. We spent almost 4 hours at the gardens and only got to see about 60%. There are new and interesting finds around every corner. Explore, learn, and enjoy.
Though we went to the Gardens for a photo class using a smartphone, we toured the Gardens following the class. It is a beautiful setting and lunch outside at the restaurant was quite good. The Gardens are a good place to spend part of your day.
A walk in the gardens is always a wonderful place to spend some time.
I love the special events they run here but I don't really think it's worth the money otherwise
Spectacular botanical gardens! One of the best I've been to. There are so many nooks and crannies to explore. The flowers are fabulous in the summer. Food was disappointing but more reason to bring a picnic.
We really enjoyed the Lavender Festival! Pretty, relaxing, friendly atmosphere. Great selection of lavender products! We'd go again next year if it's going to happen again!
We really liked the whole garden, everything was kept up well and there are many different gardens to see. Unsurprisingly they have many plants suited to dry and high altitude climates. The little science center was interesting for the kids and I learned some too. The kids' garden was the real surprise, it's huge and was fun and interesting even for our 9 year old.
So beautiful!! Totally worth the 12 bucks. Go early and have a beautiful relaxing lunch inside then walk it off in the many different beautiful sections of the garden.
Great botanic garden. Lots of different collections featuring a wide array of plants and design styles. Definitely worth a stop even on a quick trip to Denver.
Very beautiful, great outdoor activity. Would bring a lunch and more water next time. Can get very hot indoors and out and at times you are a bit of a walk from the facility so stay hydrated and cool!
Very good selection and range of plants and flowers, I think that a tour guide would make the experience difficult to surpass.
This pizzeria was descent. I ordered a classic pepperoni onion pizza. It had a nice homemade taste. The owner was really friendly.
Went to Blossoms of Light. Breathtaking. I ended up buying a membership as it covered two tickets. I cannot wait to go back during the day and see it during different seasons. It was designed such that you hear running water as you walk through the gardens - simply serene.
10/10 would go again. Just be prepared for a lot of walking! Beautiful plants and well designed gardens! Bring a water bottle, and if you need snacks know that they are a little pricey. Tasty, but a touch pricy. Great place to visit, definitely check out the mile high culture pass to come here!
Such a wonderful reprieve! Great for alone time, a date, or group outing.
Beautiful decorations at Christmas. The atmosphere was festive and fun.
Beautiful! Kids water playground across the street from the main gardens is a great place to bring kids in the summer. Bring them in their swimsuits.
Probably the best spot in town. Try the artichoke Po' Boy at the cafe and stroll through the ever changing green scape
Gorgeous and massive botanical gardens with huge variety of plant species and biomes exemplifying local and foreign plants.
I love Blossom of Lights show a lot. I'd highly recommend it
Went in the winter so wasn't much to look at. Still a nice place to take the kids.
The Christmas lights are fantastic. Easy and fun walk around the park. Job well done on the lights!
Wow... it's really well maintained and friendly staff.. we loved it
This garden is huge! Beautifully kept and organized, it's a perfect day date. I love the restaurant inside, too! Delicious Italian soda.
This is a nice place to go and relax and take in nature. In the early spring, there is not much to see, but still a nice time. They also do all kinds of events which are neat as well.
Great all year! Check out the winter lights if you can.
This is one of the best gardens I've ever been to. Is very well manicured and the plants seem to change every few weeks. One of the best memberships you can buy in Denver.
Really nice space, I love the indoor gardens and just walking around and seeing all of the plants. The Japanese Garden is my favorite, it s really cool. Definitely a place to visit in summer, as most of the areas are closed off in the winter.
Excellent and wide arrange of botanicals from across the world. About an hour and a half to two hours to traverse the garden at a leisurely pace.
