Alyssa, service department was very helpful. She was very detail oriented that she gave me updates about my car is getting serviced. I want to give her 5 star for an excellent service.

I purchased a VW CC on Nov. 29, 2014 and have not received the registration or license plates or the maintenance manual that normally comes with all new vehicles. I have contacted my salesman (Eric Lum), the office finance person that handled by transaction (Eric Mak) and the general manager of Honolulu VW (Angela Deocampo) to which I still have no license plates. My temporary license plates expire at the end of this month and I cannot get anyone to return my phone calls or emails not even the general manager of Honolulu VW. I explained to Angela that my license plates would expire this Friday and she told me that she would have me my license plates on Tuesday. I called end of day Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and still no phone call returned to me explaining why I cannot get my registration and license plates. Keep in mind that I had called and emailed numerous people involved in my sale transaction of this vehicle (salesman, financial officer and general manager). I was ignored as no one called me or emailed me back.

I addition, when I purchased this VW CC, I notified them that I did not get the maintenance service manual that comes with a new vehicle, I was promised that one would be mailed out to me. Two months later, no Book!! I just don't know what is going on with this business as they do not return phone calls, emails or take your matters seriously. They do not seem to care about their clients after the vehicle sale is made which was very obvious to me. I will post an update WHEN and IF I get my registration, title, license plates and maintenance manual.

Update: I finally received my registration about 6 weeks later. Somehow, whoever was supposed to handle my registration didn't or lost the paperwork. I am still waiting on my maintenance manual that did not come with the vehicle as was promised by them that I will get one sent to me NOT. Angela sent a salesman to my residence to pick up the vehicle and took it back to VW where they updated the MVI sticker. They brought back my vehicle a day later and during that week, I received my registration. I suppose no one wanted to return my calls because either they had no idea what had happened or it was something they just didn't want to talk to me about.

I will still do business with VW because I am hoping that this was a one time incident. We'll see when I trade in my CC and get a new Passat.

Another Update: I went down to Honolulu VW on July 11, 2015 to trade in my VW CC for a new 2015 Passat. Well they didn't have the model we wanted so our salesman, Dylan Fujimoto talked us into getting a 2015 Tiguan which we loved. Well unfortunately, a deal could not be struck for us because they wanted way too much for the new vehicle and would not work with us in getting the price down so we left the lot.

On July 22, 2015 we called Dylan about ordering us the 2015 Tiguan that we wanted and having it shipped to Honolulu where we would not haggle over the price and really wanted this vehicle ordered. Dylan said that he would order the vehicle for us. Since then and to this day, i have emailed and called Dylan AND again, the general manager, Angela DeCampo to which they will not respond to my phone calls or emails AGAIN.

I will never do business with them again and i recommend that you don't either. after you buy the vehicle from them, it's your PROBLEM now not theirs. If you think i am wrong just read more yelp reviews about their vehicle maintenance and service center. Go to Tony VW where you will be treated more like a citizen and not a street urchin!!!

Kyle was great! From the time we drove on the lot to the time we drove off in our NEW VW we were impressed!

Horrible service when it comes to the service department, take hours to do something that takes 30 mins. Went to go have my car checked out and 6 hours later they didn't tell me anything I didn't already know. Completely usesless and unhelpful. Your better off going on YouTube to fix something yourself than taking the car to them.

The purchase experience was good, told them what I wanted and got a fair deal on a used car. I am not opposed to a business making money. Bought the lifetime oil change so will have to see how that works out in about three months. Upon delivery was quite disappointed at the quality of cleaning they performed. Looked like they wiped it down with a wet, dirty rag and sprayed some tire shine on the way out the door. "How we do one thing is how we do everything".

Our sales rep was awesome but OMFG the nerve of the sorry @$$ excuse of a human being who can collect money for not working in the service department shows how pathetic this state is when it comes to quality of work. We have had our car "detailed" twice and my 1 year old can clean a car better than him. And he stole things out of our vehicle he should have been fired on the spot!!! Don't use their service department

I had a wonderful experience at Honolulu Volkswagen! I want to personally thank Brandon Tom for assisting me in the process from start to finish. This dealership and their staff does not pressure you into making a one sided deal. The dealership was willing to work with me till I found what was right. I went to Honolulu Volkswagen to test drive the GTI. Since I opened the door they received me very well. When I got back from driving the GTI I didn't think twice about buy one. They treated me super nice and friendly especially Queen Emma . I'm very happy with my GTI, I finally have what I was looking for and I'm more than satisfied. Sorry it took me so long to post the review but I'm like a little kid with a new toy ! I've been driving even to go to the mailbox. Thank you very much Jeff, Emma and everyone for make everything possible to make a customer more than happy. Great team !! 1-5 stars ? 10 !!

This has been probably the easiest experience my husband and I have had buying a car. Livingston Rowan helped put us in my dream car. We needed a new car because we had just had a baby and our car seat could not fit in our CHR. We went there trying to look at a used Passat and he helped us into a 2018 new Passat that day. Wonderful experience at Honolulu Volkswagon! The entire staff from the front desk to the service dept gave me excellent customer service, even thought I was interested in a used vehicle that was not even a VW.

I looked at their used car inventory online and called to make an appt to visit the showroom. I spoke with Jeff, the sales mgr, and he had me meet with Emma, in sales.

From the moment I got there, I felt welcomed By Jeff and Emma. Very nice and clean showroom too! Waiting area with ample seating and water/coffee.

Emma brought the car up front for me to look at. After I looked over the car, I had some mechanical questions, so Emma brought over the service mgr. He was very straightforward and went over the inspections they do on all the used vehicles and went over items that might be of concern. And at no time did Emma or Jeff ever pressure my to buy.

When it was time to make a deal, sat down with Jeff, and he offered a very fair price. I made a fair offer myself and we closed the deal.

They treat their customers with courtesy and respect, and I highly recommend Honolulu Volkswagon!

They sold me a used Routan minivan that I ve had nothing but trouble with. I also purchased the extended warranty and it always seems it won t cover anything wrong with the car.

This past time I took it they made me an appointment for 2 pm on a Friday, and they assigned it to a technician who didn t come in until the following Monday. It s been a week and half so far and still no car.

Livingston and Jeremy were super friendly and helpful for getting me a vehicle. They went out of their way to get me approved. I recommend buying a vehicle here!

I have never had a more frustrating experience with a business. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM HERE.

I purchased a used car with less than 70,000 miles from Honolulu Volkswagen. This dealer included a 60-day limited warranty and was not sold "as-is". Within the 60-day window I have had the car battery die (first morning after purchasing the vehicle), fuel pump replaced twice, and intake manifold gasket replaced. Within the first 100 days of ownership, the car has been in the possession of dealer's service department a total of 39 days, with 3 official intakes and releases, two of these intakes requiring a tow service to deliver the vehicle to the premises. I have had to pay for a rental vehicle while this is being fixed and getting any attention to my situation was like pulling teeth.

A situation that maybe best exemplifies my frustration the is the General Manager Angela Decocampo explaining to me that a fuel pump is not covered under the powertrain warranty guaranteed to me by my purchase. The fuel pump is undeniably part of the powertrain as stated within the contract and saying that it is not shows an utter lack of concern for the customer and no understanding of the agreements her business is making. Ultimately, my car works, but not without weekends of frustration, lots of money spent on extras and rental cars, and a near death experience breaking down on H-1.

Received an excellent service for my oil and filter change. I was greeted with a smile and the service took just over one hour. VW checked my tire conditions and air pressures, topped off my fluids. I was very happy with the service. They also offered me free car wash at my convenience. I love this place!! Thank you!!

I recently made a purchase from this dealership. Everyone was friendly and answered every question I asked. The actual purchasing process was efficient and surprisingly quick. I would like to personally thank James who was there through the whole process from the initial phone inquiry to me driving off the lot.

They gave me a damaged brand new car. I came back the next day to let them know that I noticed it's damaged when I got home and would not let me get another one. They promise everything before you buy the car but once you own it, your on your own and would not accommodate for what satisfies you.
Very very dissapointing. I cannot believe I bought my first brand new car from them. I'm stuck with this "brand new car" and would not let me switch to a different one.

I took my Golf R in for an oil change and service on November 15. I was immediately warmly greeted by Jessica and she processed my service request quickly and efficiently. Jessica explained all the options very clearly and provided excellent advice. I always mention to my friends and family how wonderful the customer service is at Honolulu Volkswagen. The staff is always friendly, helpful and professional. Jessica is a prime example of this exceptional customer service!

Jessica in the service department was wonderful during the entire process. They addressed the issue that I brought my car in for, and also identified future, preventative issues for my consideration. The facilities were excellent as well. Entire staff was friendly.

There were somethings that did bother me at the dealership. For one, when you buy a car from the dealership, the car should be clean inside and out and in my case it was not. I was very upset that my sales rep kept trying to avoid or was scared to get my car cleaned inside and out. The car still had coins in the cup holder and a nasty old contact lense. The dashboard was dirty, the carpet was not vacuumed out at all and the door panels had smudges on them. It still has not been taken care of since I had to take the car back to get looked at for a check engine light. I didn't feel like they were taking care of me since I did purchase a car from them. As for my experience, it was not well after I signed the dotted line to purchase the vehicle. Maybe for someone else it was better but not my experience. On the bright side they are taking care of fixing the issue for my car.

The best place to get your VW serviced. Jessica is the best service advisor ever, so knowledgeable and efficient!

Also, if your interested in buying a VW see either Ms. Emma or Mr. Sage. They take time with you, and will not take advantage of you!

I recently purchased a vehicle at volkswagen, Brain was very helpful in the process usually dealerships try to keep you at the location no matter what. They were very relaxed I was able to go get food half way through the sales process and didn't get a million phone calls asking if I was still coming back the car wasn't as clean as I'd expect after buying and it was missing two tire stem caps but Brian quickly fixed the cap situation. Over all I was happy with my experience.

My recent Jeep purchase was my very first time buying a vehicle through a dealership. I had heard that dealerships spring lots of fees on people, especially when buying used cars, and that one had to be super careful not to get ripped off or pressured into a vehicle that they didn t want. So, despite doing a ton of research, I was more than a little nervous when I headed to Honolulu Volkswagen. I stopped at another dealership along the way and there was such a sketchy vibe at that place that I didn t even stay to test drive a vehicle. Honolulu Volkswagen had none of that- no sketchy vibe, no high-pressure sales, no hidden fees or markups. Instead, there was a friendly, laid-back, no pressure atmosphere. EJ, the super awesome sales person whom helped me out, was quite knowledgeable, answered all my questions thoroughly, and didn t rush me at all as I spent a good deal of time looking over the Jeep that I then decided to purchase. Price negotiations went better than I could have imagined. EJ showed me the CarFax report (which matched with what I had pulled online for the vehicle) and offered a price that was more than fair (again, matched with what I had pulled online as a very good price for the make, model, and mileage) with no unexpected fees. Volkswagen even gave me a warranty, something I was definitely NOT expecting when purchasing a six-year-old vehicle. The entire process took somewhere around 2 hours, including the loan paperwork, which I was able to do through my credit union but completely at the dealership (full disclosure, I probably could have been out of there even faster, but I m one of those weird people whom reads every line of the loan paperwork and asked questions on it, so that added some time for sure, but the finance person didn t rush me at all). In short, I could not be more pleased with how it went, or more impressed with EJ and everyone at Honolulu Volkswagen. My family plans to purchase all of future vehicles through them. It been about a month and a half since my purchase and my Jeep is running great- I love it and have received so many compliments on it. So glad I went to Honolulu Volkswagen. I cannot recommend EJ and Honolulu Volkswagen enough.

The team at Honolulu Volkswagen was outstanding. I had my Volkswagen Rabbit for 11 years. Over the past year it had been damaged a fair amount and could no longer pass state inspection without significant repairs. The service team, specifically Jessica, was extremely understanding. When I mentioned trading in she set me up with EJ, my sales rep. EJ is a super motivated and positive salesman. He set up a test drive for me before I even got to the dealership within 30 min. I instantly fell in love with the car and the team worked with me to get the price down to something that would work for me. It felt like the entire dealership worked together to get me the best deal they could. I came in a little before lunch and left the store shortly after with a brand new VW Tiguan, and I couldn't be happier. Here's to another 11 years with Volkswagen!

My husband and I are the proud new owners of a 2019 Tiguan thanks to Eanjym! So far the process has been a breeze. I put in a request for a test drive online and the next day he called and we set up a test drive for later that day. Very dishonest practices! Went in with a certified offer letter for a vehicle I was selling. During their test drive they claimed metal was grinding on metal (it was not). They then tried to drop their offer by $2700. I walked out shortly after. Beware of the dealership.
