I just wanted to say a big thanks to Rob from the Auburn Flooring Department. He was highly professional and gave me valuable advice. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for flooring to come see him as he certainly knows his stuff!

Would be helpful if the different areas communicate with each other when you order appliances and equipment for renovation done by Harvey Norman.. It is almost as if they don't talk to each other considering they share a common floor space.

Great place to shop. Very friendly helpful staff. Never be afraid to shop around but never be afraid to ask for a better price either. Much better than shopping on the internet. I've noticed the sale prices aren't that impressive, if you shop when there isn't a sale just haggle with the staff and you'll get a better price. Don't forget, they're trying to compete with online stores so everything is negotiable.

Not recommending shopping here, first time buying ...

Not recommending shopping here, first time buying furnitures and home appliances at this place. Somehow they managed to not to deliver on time, then split one delivery to three deliveries and try to charge me extra delivery fee which makes me to call them a dozen times to fix this issue. Also the person they send to install our washer has installed the hot and cold water reversed. When I called them and told them the issue they didn t apologise for the mistake but trying to hint that I m using the washer in a wrong way. Anyway, extremely bad experience, the customer service is really poor, always trying to not to help and ask me to call other departments. If anyone read this review please go somewhere to for your needs, don t waste your time.

The guy in kitchen appliances area wasn't very helpful, he made it sound like everything is difficult to get, as if you are looking to buy a rare diamond... Also, I specifically asked for a quality rangehood, and he offered me the worst rated you can get, I am assuming he was probably trying to get rid of hard-to-sell stock, since everything else was "not available, difficult to get, and would take a long time to get in ", "and especially close to impossible to get anything other than, either the 600mm, or the 900mm ones".. when i tried to explain again what my requirements were - he simply hanged up. I called another HN store immediately after, and to my great surprise, the guy was super helpful, and told me 700mm was available and he could arrange a pick up in a couple of days (p.s. this HN store was probably the most helpful out of, at least, 5 of them I called that day, and spent considerable amount of time on the phone)

The extra star here is for at least picking up the phone, unlike some other HN stores I tried contacting prior to this, though, in the end it was still a waste of my time.

the worst ever shopping experience I have ever had.
The sales lady in the bed section who keeps telling me she is the bed and mattress expert was very rude and tried ripped off me be giving me wrong prices for various beds and mattresses.
As the matter of fact, I read the bad reviews of this branch and I faced it by myself. Waste my time going there. Not recommended going there (bed and mattress section)

Store has a lot of options on display and staff is very helpful in answering the queries. I bought a lot of stuff for my bathrooms renovations and one of the staff member Angie provided very good help by suggesting various options and checking the inventories for my order and she regularly communicated on the delivery of the products.

I bought a dinning table in July 2020 from the Auburn shop. I was told it would be delivered in 2-3 weeks by the sales representative. 4 weeks later, after no type of communication, we called the store and asked about the delivery. They said it would be first of week of September. After the first week of September came, we called again since nobody bothered to call us, to find out that actually is maybe in October. Great service.

One of finest stores in Sydney but unfortunately run by some arrogant staff! There is a guy whom I have enquired about Apple AirPods the other day - he will be a good case study for business schools on how a salesman shouldn t be ! Mate, you are in the wrong job - please don t destroy a good store !
I drove another 10 kms to buy the same product at the same price from a competitor!

Rude staff in TV section esp Samsung, that guy manipulated us to make the payment by giving false commitment. He asked us to wait for him he is going to pick a TV for us from the warehouse. After receiving the payment he denied of his commitment and asked us to come tomorrow for the TV pickup. We were like why the hell you took paymebt from us today, if we have to come tomorrow anyways . We were not happy with the deal even after spending $2,500. TV stopped turning on after 1 day. We called them and he said bring the TV to shop. We were already upset and my husband and I took a day off from work, we requested them to give a compensation or some complimentary service for the hassle that has been caused to us within 1 day of purchase. To that, customer service guy responded very rudely why should we give you anything, you can ask for a refund. Instead he was asking us what hassle have you gone through.. I was shocked to see his behavior..we made payment on Saturday, came back to you guys for the TV PICKUP on Sunday. TV stopped working on Monday night. Called you guys on tues. You have asked us to bring the TV on Wednesday, my husband and I took off from work to show you the faulty TV. For all the 3 days we struggled really hard to adjust 55'' inches TV in our Camry. We have atleast spent 45 mins each time to adjust the TV in our car.. and that guy had the audacity to ask what hassle have you gone through.. HN use to be my fav place to shop.. I have emotions attached to this place, each n every single thing in my house is from HN. Once HN Blacktown also delivered a faulty bed to my address and they immediately rectified it, sent a new bed and sent his guys to assemble the furniture at my home.. that's how a business retains its customers, by being empathetic and polite in delivering services. But there are few guys with poor etiquettes and bad customer service skills ruins our day..it's not about $2,500 its about how you are making your customer feel. I immediately corrected my poor decision of buying a TV from them by asking for a refund. Instead of rectifying on the services you guys are suggesting ur customers to ask for a refund... I have encountered such intelligent sales guys for the first time.. Another sad part was, his manager didn't even uttered a single word when all this was happening..

We walked into the electrical/small appliance department and were totally ignored.
Two staff members just walked past us and another was more interested in her computer screen.
This was a first - we have been to this store many times and you usually take one step into the department and you have at least one person asking to help you.
Was this an April Fool Joke?
Very disappointing!
We were just about to walk out of the store and some poor guy who said he was from the computer department must have realised what happened and actually made a huge effort to fix the issue but it was just too late.

Still waiting on our lounge. Was told it would be delivered between 4-6 weeks, it's now been 7 weeks with no update on where our lounge is or when it may be coming! How about looking after your paying customers!

Fantastic range, great service and they really help out when an item has stopped working. Getting into the parking lot can be a little hard. But the store is lovely inside and they have a little Cafe for your long visits. Staff are very friendly

Although some of the staff members are very knowledgable, most of them are not up to date with the information. Have been misguided a couple of times - glad that I had done my research beforehand and knew what I wanted to buy.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience buying bedroom furniture from Patrick Mantoura at the new flagship store in Auburn. Patrick was extremely informative, patient and professional whilst giving us different furniture options. He also allowed us to try a huge array of mattresses to satisfy our needs and knew all the benefits and downsides of each one. He spent a good hour with us but didn't pressurise us once to buy. I'm such a picky person by nature and kept throwing questions at him, but he always answered with a calm and understanding tone. In the end, he gave us a great price on everything we needed and even included store vouchers for us to purchase manchester!
A few days later when I was going through the receipt, I thought there was a discrepancy in the final agreed cost. When I called Patrick up, he explained everything in detail and made me realise that I was the one confused as he had discounted everything, to account for other purchases. He was extremely courteous over the phone and didn't try to brush me off as "the annoying customer". The level of service he delivers is outstanding!
All in all, we will definitely recommend Patrick Mantoura to all our family and friends. He works in the Bedding section at the new Harvey Norman store in Auburn from Wednesdays-Sundays. He is an honest and consummate professional, who genuinely wants to help customers, even the most difficult and fussy one's!

Horrible service. Staff lies about booking in delivery date. I can hear you guys when you put the phone down and just yell at each other about the delivery date, I can hear you say it was an open date, ie not booked in so don't turn around and tell me say it has been organised and tell me to call the delivery company with a fake invoice number!

I needed several articles which involved interaction with three different salespeople all of whom were friendly and helpful, especially James in TV who went the extra mile to find the best solution for my headphone problem. Also, contrary to another review, price matching was done without the slightest hesitation.

The most rubbish cuatomer service experience ever. My review is not based on single visit but I been there atleast three times before writing this review. I had to bring it up as it can not be one of occassion. Even my son who is 9YO says to me that we will not go there again.

Nice mega store for shopping furniture, electrical and electronic appliances...Though bit on the costly side..But great variety...Remember delivery charges can vary from $50 to $80 on the minimum side...

Looking for a new bed; we spoke to John. We went into the store knowing nothing about beds & mattresses and left with quite a good understanding of what's on the market. He invested his time into educating us with a personal customer approach. My partner and I were extremely impressed with the service and we will definitely be coming back to see John again once we make a decision on our bed!

Nice looking store but wouldn't bother going there again. If you've spent 10 minutes researching what you're interested in purchasing, you'll probably know more than the staff do (if you manage to even gain the attention of anyone who works there).

Stunningly renovated and great layout. This shop is well worth a visit. Oodles of cool convenient parking...even the staff seemed relaxed and happy to be working. I had all my questions answered and loved my purchases when i got them home! Great reno guys!

I buy thosands of dollars products from this store but now they dont care of their permanent customers, Customer service is almost Zero. There is always a difference between online and store prices. You go there better check prices online on harvey norman website. They always lie about interest free time period. I always need to show them through websites and when i do the next thing come on my face is worst customer service. 12 Feb 2020 Mr Wang just got rude on asking further discount on my TV purchase. I will stop coming to this store. They are worst now.

From the sales people to the delivery guys. We could not be happier. Our fridge stopped working and we visited Harvey Norman Auburn. We chose the fridge and the sales lady organised next day delivery. Fridge arrived 9.00am and the delivery guys were excellent. We had to unscrew the front door for them to take the old fridge. They helped my husband take door off and back on.. Thank you Harvey Norman for the great customer service.

I went to pick up a camera and lens I'd ordered online, fantastic service, lovely staff, however they did mix up my order and forget to give me the lens which I realised quite quickly and returned. They were very apologetic and quickly found the lens. Great service, very happy.
