I bought a washing machine and paid $20 on top of the $50 regular delivery for a special scheduled delivery on Saturday. The store told me that you can call them on Saturday after 9 and talk about the delivery time and they won't do it very early in the morning. But on Friday afternoon the driver called me and told that I will bring it on 7:00 am on Saturday and that's your only option. I don't care who told you what and that is it. DO NOT USE STORE DELIVERY.
The sales lady member took a long time to find the Nespresso machine I asked for that was in their specials catalogue. In comparison to seconds world or Bing Lee the staff are not very pro active with assistance.
I had difficulties returning a faulty product. They said they had no replacements, then I was offered an upgrade for a fee. Then we couldn t find the upgraded model, but whilst looking we found one that was the same model as mine (one that they said they didn t have). It took over an hour to do the replacement.
Spent ages discussing laptops, specs and prices to be directed at a HP unit only to find they actually had none in stock. Tried to push the display model for very little discount - to find that one actually didn't have the accessories we were told the model had. Left and purchased online.
A really big store with good prices and range of products but it seems more like a warehouse than an actual store
No stock, just display items. Told to pay now and wait 6-8 weeks
Really annoying to get to and access but very extensive inside and good amount of parking. Could do with more staff on hand.

They have the worst delivery service, they promised to deliver my goods between 2pm - 5pm, on a Saturday, I called their truck driver at 4.30pm he hanged up, I messaged him, he replied that will be at my place by 5pm. He called at 5 pm apologing that he needs another hour, they highering the worst people.
Gigantic store. Busy as heck. Staff not too into bargaining. Hard to find staff who really understand what they are selling. Do your research before buying. Always check the bargain bins
Love this store. Always get great service especially from the electrical team and the pricing is either the same or cheaper then JB and Good Guys.
Great store for a starting price, very large in size and offers a wide range of products, Staff are knowledgeable and helpful but not very friendly. Normally I would go here first to have a general idea of the price or deal before I go somewhere else. Sometimes they do have a sale and you can save a bit. Best buy from Harvey Norman was a Surface Pro 4 at %15 off Educational purpose.
GOOD QUALITY PRODUCT | WORST SALES SERVICE
You can have a great product but if you have egoistic and arrogant sales team, you business will go to ruins. Harvey Norman Auburn is an epitomy of arrogance and ego within the sales team. I bought my furniture (bailey lounge set) 2 months ago. I understand it takes time, but after 9 weeks, they still cant give me a date of delivery, and when I gave them a call, the sales guy literally hang the phone on me for asking questions about my deliver. You can always get a good product from other suppliers, but don't waste your time and energy with these folks as no one deserves the rude behavior.
Very big flagship store withs lots of funitures n appliants. There is also a cafe inside. However, there are less varieties of cameras n lenses.
Called to inquire about availability of a mobile phone.... Could not believe how condescending and rude the guy from the mobile phone section was. Obviously a 1,500 sale means nothing to him.
You might call it the flagship store, but if that's the customer service they offer, I recommend to avoid shopping at this particular Harvey Norman store.

My husband and I bought all our kitchen and laundry appliances from Harvey Norman at Auburn. I am very disappointed to say that the service for delivering the appliances was way below standards- the new oven was broken when we received it. We also had to return & pick up the new one ourselves, otherwise it was a week wait. We didn t receive all the items we purchased and paid for, so we had to pick the missing items ourselves. And cherry on top, the dishwasher we got is faulty, we ve waited for almost a week already for someone to inspect/replace the faulty dishwasher that we already paid for, a technician showed up today and left within 5 mins without resolving anything. Now we are being told that we have to wait for another week! I have to say did not expect this from Harvey Norman, I was holding them to higher standards. I ll probably think twice before I buy form them again
Store is good with great variety of stock. Lewis in the bathroom section is rude, passive aggressive, unhelpful and condescending. Very disappointed with his (lack of) service.

Great service and products. Best Harvey Norman store I've been to, nicely spaced. IT staff are attentive and knowledgeable, easy underground parking, lots of room. Cafe inside if you feel the need for a coffee and a bite. Don't be afraid to ask for a better price and I highly recommend paying extra for product care. Highly recommended.
Beautiful collection, bit pricey but the designs are unique. We got our mattress and linen last week, got amazing deal with the price. Also thanx to Patrick, he helped us providing all the details of what we were after, received best customer service ever :)
Arrogant staff. I was there ready to buy a laptop and needed assistance. I told the sales guy the specs I wanted and that I would like to spend $1,000. He was so rude and condescending telling me I couldn t get those specs for such a low price. I went elsewhere and bought exactly what I wanted for $1,500
Yes he was right, but I was there to spend money and could have easily been up sold had he not been such a major douche bag.
Huge shop, super clean, amazing store experience. The store is on 2 levels, 1 for appliances and one for furniture.
Free parking underground, very easy to access through different entrances.
The staff on every section of the shop was amazing! They don't force sell but know their products and will find the best fit for you.

Products are always costly. Compare the price in few different stores otherwise you will pay more. Not happy to refund for change of mind so be careful.
This would have to be one of the best Harvey Norman stores I have ever been to. The staff are knowledgeable about the products they sell and the goods are displayed well. Being able to try products before you buy them is great. I am extremely impressed.
Still can't beat JB HI FI in electronics. Auburn store is huge, plenty parking.
Overall an average store for what is their flagship.
Customer service on the floor where it matters is a bit hit and miss.
(Tech level)Example of a miss would be when i watch customers walk who are visibly looking for something or in need of help struggle to draw the attention of staff. Either staff aren't paying attention to the floor or just ambling about disinterested.
(Bedding)A hit, as staff are quick to identify a customer and engage when necessary.
Don't expect much more than your average Harvey Norman in terms of customer service and you won't be disappointed.

WORST customer service ever. I bought a coffee table 3 month ago, went to warehouse for collection twice. Till today I have still NOT received it. Call up Auburn stores many time they always said "I will get back to you." But they NEVER.
Great customer service from flooring staff. Great range of products. I feel confident buying from this store. Parking is easy. Effortless doing business here.
Place is good. Some staff are amazingly nice. One or two were not so good.
The customer service is almost shocking and staff are rude. You will get a better service from an ebay seller from overseas compared to this store!. The staff have zero respect for the customer and all they care is your money and their commission.

Great store! Massive, really good layout and great selection of furniture at good prices. The tech and appliances section was also good. The problem is, that half the sales staff don't know their products and it is very obvious. Some of them just aren't willing to go the extra distance for potential customers. I was told by one of them that they absolutely could not hook up a blu-ray player to their TVs so we could compare picture quality. He had no interest in helping us. Another guy actually went ahead and did it for us, and actually knew something about TVs. Guess who made sale and sold a soundbar as well? Another guy I tried to enquire about an audio product told me an outright lie. This is the problem -- it's really hit and miss with the salespeople - it's the same experience across almost everything we've purchased there. Some just don't want to go a bit out of their way to make a sale. Great store, but yeah, it has it's problems.
We bought a sofa from Harvey Norman Last year and paid for extended warranty. Now the headrest is not working. We called them, they said warranty doesn t include that part. And then we called them to send someone to come check what s the problem, that costs us $85 just for them to come check for a few mins. And then the guy told us it ll cost $240+ part... we feel like it s ridiculous and a big ripoff!!!!!

Good staff, great deals, and the best part is, Harvey Norman provides insurance on their products which makes you feel safe.
Love the new look and feel of the store. Please work on staff being more proactive in helping. Sometimes I see staff chit chatting and not really reaching out to the customers to help.
Lots of bulky and retail items here in this big retail store. Look up their website to see everything. This is a multi level store with parking on the bottom and two levels above. Parking entrance at front coming from city or in side street just past the lights.

Pathetic excuse for a store. Bought a lounge nearly 2 months ago and was told I'd have it in 2 weeks. Found out they ordered the wrong colour when I called and had it supposedly sorted. The sales person said if have it by the end of January, which I haven't yet received. I called again only to be told they don't know when I'll get it. Go to somewhere else if you're going to buy furniture!
Terrible customer service. I did purchase a bed suite 3 month ago. The sales person promised me that the bed would be available in 4 weeks , it took 6 weeks till they had the bed ready for delivery on the delivery day the bed was wrong , it took another 4 weeks to get the right bed , and the manager rang me as he wants to charge me for second delivery .
Not recomended. Rudest customer service ever. This is the manager himself. Lucky to get 1 star. Not deserve star all. Perhaps needs skills in business negotiating. Don't come here unless you want to be upset exiting the store.

came in over the weekend, looking at getting a new dinning table.. so after having a look at the products i had my eye on a particular one that i thought was pretty perfect, and my wife liked it also.
we were looking at the 9 piece dinning setting.
the sales lady greeted us and began talking about the features, costs, payment options, we decided that we liked it and wanted to pay for it straight away.
Headed to the counter made the sale and was advised that we had an option for delivery or pick up, i said id pick it up as i had a truck. Looks great!! happy customer..

Beautiful store but really bad customer service. Bought a microwave but it was out of stock. Sent us to the warehouse after paying but there was no microwave in stock their either. Had to go back to get a refund. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME!
