Bought a panel heater from there it didn't work properly so they gave a full refund, plus good customer service.
Beautiful Store and clearly a lot invested. However, staff and manager Ben has been super rude and not helpful at all when it comes to problem solving. Our furniture that we purchased for over $10,000 came damaged and used even though we paid for brand new. We ordered it in October 2019 and received it in December 2019. We are in April 2020 now and still waiting for it to be replaced. Haven't heard from the store manager or anyone else. They always refer us to the supplier even though we bought the lounges from Harvey Norman. DO NOT TRUST THEM!!! DO NOT TRUST THEIR PRODUCT GUARANTEE!!! Our lounges came damaged and we sent them photos the same day we received the lounges. Promised to replace them but now they try to blame it on the supplier. VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER!!!
Great customer service! There was a small mix up/confusion and the staff was so helpful.
The store is very spread out and things are easy to find.
There is a cafe within the storr as well. Great coffee and brownies!

It's a bad store for electrical appliances . I went there today to buy a camera and they haven't showed me properly through a dummy piece or unwrap one and revealing it's feature. So I don't suggest it.
Furniture department were excellent. Electronics were rude and arrogant
Ordered lounge suite beginning of August with delivery between 6-8 weeks which was fine.
Called up to see about delivery on week 9 to be told to ring next week.
Then rang them to be told it was dispatched from Melbourne 28 th Sept but it was Oct by now
After I called in to the store to see what was going on in person they told me they would call tomorrow
Which they didn t I had to do all the chasing around to finally go the lounge on Friday 19th Oct

It's vast and comfortable to walk around. But the prices...shop warily and carefully, very easy to pay too much.
The people They employ Know their stuff, knowledgeable And friendly. Definitely a return customer anytime I need something. Hope they're prices get more competitive though. Still yet to improve on that.

Disappointed today when I came to collect some photos. The girl at the counter took a long time to find my photos even after I gave my name and order number, order date etc. Finally she found it based on my middle and surname.

Rob was the sales person.
My wife and I decided just today that we will go out and purchase carpet for our new build.
We organised an interest free card previously, and decided that we would go to a Harvey Norman store and get a few quotes to purchase carpet.
Rob said that he could not help me with a better price on interest free and that $7900 was it, however if I could pay cash the deal will be reduced from $7900 to $5500.
This immediately go our attention, after a short conversation with my wife, I said to Rob that we will head down to see him.
When you we arrived we spoke to Rob and looked at a few more carpets etc...
We changed our mind on the carpet type and asked for Robs best price and when we said that we have been given better prices his demeanor changed completely.
Rob went on to say that he new that we had been to other Harvey Norman stores and that he had spoken to the other guys at all the other stored thar we have been a to, Harvey Norman, he named other sales staff, told me were we have been, (WTF)
I really don't understand why he felt the need to tell me and my wife this?
For this type of behavior has a name and it is called calousion and it is highly illegal..
I did tell Rob that we are shopping around, but still he tried to humiliate us by saying that he new this and that he had been intouch with other stores and knows the price that we had been given..
Again not sure why he felt the need to tell my wife and I that he had been talking to other Harvey Norman stores.
We have been treated with contempt and have been made to feel incredibly and terribly embarrassed.
Rob made us feel like we had done somthing wrong, all we were doing is renegotiating with him.

From our experiance today with the franchises Harvey Norman, it seems that this type of behaviour is deemed to be acceptable, for two stores to have openly admitted to discussion of prices giving to us, openly talking to each other and saying this to our faces,

2 Your guy Rob telling my wife and I that he also spoke to Josh as well from the Caringbah store, our local store? Trying to imply we were liars and doing something wrong by shopping around for the best price for carpet.

one store tells us it seems to be the culture within Harvey Norman stores.
The flagship store lives up to its name. A huge selection of pretty much everything with helpful, friendly staff always at hand to help. And the easy parking is always appreciated.
Ordered the tomtom gps(6100), left 10$ deposit, i have been said will be in the store within 3 days, now 4th week running, still havenot get yet, called them many times, very poor response.
I needed service in which a young girl in the furniture section looked at me and then looked away. I went up to her and she picked up the phone and made a personal call. I then said to her when she is ready can I get some help. She then got up. The worst service ever. I applied for interest free, the cashier was so rude wasn't really interested in doing the application. My application was put under review. The cashier didn't say anything about what to do until after I asked. I then rang ge and I was approved for even more. I wont go and get the furniture I wanted I will go to penrith where the service is so much better.
Will only do good deals if you sell your soul. Good for window shopping but jbhifi beats them by miles every occasion. Shop smart.
The staff were helpful as they gave us recommendations of similar products and gave out pros and cons.
Parking easily available, all options available, sales have attitude.

Sold a faulty google pixel 3 (was even upsold their extended warranty) but their policy was that they needed to send the phone in for 2 weeks before being able to decide whether its a faulty phone or not. During this time I was not given a loan phone, and worst off the staff seemed extremely rude and unapologetic. They said it's not their fault, they can't be blamed. You guys sell faulty stock and have a terrible policy when it happens, who else is to blame? I can understand things like this happen time to time, but terrible customer service could have been avoided.

Very bad customer service. Sales people don't have any professionalism in them, may be they are under paid. Right on the date of delivery of our furniture, after calling , for we were told it's 4 weeks delayed, and as I said sales people don't care.
The worst customer service ever! A faulty product I purchased they told me to take it to the maker. Wrong move guys! Never again.

Well laid out store, lots of options. Not sure if I was just lucky or its always that way, but the service was excellent.
Purchased an indoor and outdoor table setting. Both sets have arrived with faults - a chipped marble table top and wonky uneven flat pak chairs for the indoor, writing on the cushion, broken frame and ill fitting glass on the outdoor setting. The lack of customer service from this particular store is incredible. Still waiting for a resolution. Last time shopping at Harvey Norman, there s plenty of better options who appreciate our business.

One of the worst customer service departments that I have come across in Australia..
Had to get a furniture item returned and refunded.. it took months and repeated calls to get the whole thing processed...
They absolutely don't bother doing anything unless you constantly follow up.
A good deal on a computer was the end goal and the objective was met.
Shopping is not just about getting an item for $XX. If that were the case I would be buying online. Harvey Norman knows bricks and mortar shops are failing in market share and if they were serious about their business they would investigate this outlet.
The main issue is staff. The service delivered here is unbelievably poor. The response to "Is this the best price you can do?" Is NEVER "Yeah... probably.... I swear to God!". To be prompted three times to investigate the price on the system shouldn't have to happen.
To follow this up by the checkout staff using their phone mid transaction is just a starter. The have to interrupt her to ask for a pen to sign the receipt because of her distraction with her phone would have to be the cake. And the sweet, sweet icing is the response of "For f*** sake!" While slamming a pen in front of you.
Conduct like this never just occurs with one customer. Harvey Norman's inability to manage their staff to behave somewhat professionally is of serious concern and would no doubt have consequences on the business. They've lost at least a dozen customers on this poor excuse of a transaction alone prior to my writing of this review. Let's see how many more it shall take before there is some remedy.
This place was awesome! I bought a SNES Classic Mini (Nintendo) from them on there opening day and they where so full of energy and nice. The one guy who I think was the manager told me I should try out the VR display they had for public use and it was like going on an amusement ride. Really didn't expect that. Place is great :)

I ordered my dining table on 10/5. It's been three months. I still don't get my table. They keep doing the false promises. It's Australian made product and still they can't make one table in three months. It's just a big name. They don't have enough supplier. Don't trust Harvey Norman otherwise you will also stuck like me.

I just visited the aircon department. The two guys there ( I can provide the names) were extremely rude and were trying to argue with me as to which size of air on is better for my room. I know the size of the room.
Later I went to good guys and got what I wanted. Rude and lack of salesmanship.
I ordered a desk and waited for 3 weeks. After three weeks the store calls me saying, "Sorry we didn't receive an incorrect color desk, would you like to wait another 10 days or should we cancel the order"
When I asked to maybe get my installation for free to make up for this, they said, "No but we are happy to send it to you for free" even though I already paid for the delivery!.

If I could write a review for '0 Stars' I would. I came to the 'Flag Ship' store on the 21/11/2017 to enjoy what they portrayed as an amazing day of VIP sales. Unfortunately the store seems to believe that all the over inflated RRPs (that every other electronics store is already beating) will make people believe they have the best prices. To name a few prices that I had in mind that other stores have it better at are as follows: Nikon D3400 DSLR with 18-55mm lens ridiculous $694 RRP 'but' $494 online. Good price online, although the sign stating 15% off for all cameras which did not include this camera as it was already at a sale price according to staff in store. JB HI-FI is currently selling this camera for $549 with a $100 Gift card to spend in store. Logitech G502 mouse, currently for sale at JB HI-FI for $89, luckily Harvey Norman is selling this product for $128 with a 20%, still making it a price of $102... Very VIP pricing that JB HI-FI is happily beating and will sell to anyone that comes in store. The '18 months interest free' Apple iPhone 8 + air pods + screen protector sign is a great luring tool. This sign would make you believe that all items are included within the sale price of the iPhone 8. Unfortunately this is not the case, you still pay for everything as priced, it is just advertised you can get it all interest free for 18 months, which is a joke to advertise for the VIP sale, if you look online you can practically buy any item or group of items over $500 on an interest free loan from 6-60 months. Why advertise in a way that falsifies the actual products you receive. The flyer received did not state there would not be discounts on items like the iPhone or Samsung Galaxy, instead it specified an offer on ALL electrical appliances, mobile phones and cameras.
Harvey Norman is not bad. It's just that everyone is going to Big W / Woolies.

Been waiting in the heater section for 20+ minutes and can get absolutely no ones attention (5+ sales around), they just stick to one customer and watch them think their brains out.
Not coming here ever again. Good customer service would ve allowed the customer to think about it and serve someone else. Not have another 20 people waiting there like idiots.

I have been a customer of harvey norman for many years. Although in the past few months I have been to Harvey Norman Auburn twice. Once for a TV and today for a two air con units. Unfortunately due to harvey norman auburn this is the last time I will ever be going to a harvey norman store. Harvey Norman auburn has the worst customer service and they are the sole reason I will not be returning to a harvey norman store. Both times I was a willing customer to purchase products but it was solely due to their poor customer service I didn't buy any products from them. I have only given them 1 star because it won't let me do no stars and if it were to let me do no stars I would want to give them minus stars. This is the worst harvey norman store in the country due entirely to its pathetic attempt for customer service which is ironic given it is a"flagship" store! Unfortunately since obtaining the title of flagship store they have moved away from customer service and are just after commission and not even wanting to speak to the customer, just wanting to take your money.

Was there over 30 mins and not one staff approached us.They were there standing, doing nothing, looking busy. Some staff were really busy though. Finally went to JBHiFi.
Started the morning going to the Harvey Norman Superstore, Auburn, anxiously trying to come up with some explanation as to why a refund is warranted on a Wifi hub that I bought the day before. To my suprise, I got a full refund, no questions asked . The guy did not even look to see what was in the box. 5 Stars for Harvey Norman, easy stress free refund policy :)

If you are up for shopping at Harvey Norman, this is one of largest shops with wide range of products for all your needs from renovation to furniture to small appliances and electronic goods. Sometimes I have going good deals here better than most online shops.

Worst online shopping experience ever. Waste me almost 2 weeks time for a sameday pick up order, and have to cancel the order at the end. Customer service team are not efficient and provide no help for the order, NOT recommend to any friends!
