Over priced over rated, just a trap for over fed rich americans
Busy but still a London must. Amazing Godiva dipped chocolate strawberries to purchase in the confectionery food hall
This place is just overwhelming spectacular as a destination super luxury department store. This is truly something to experience when you are in London.
Harrods is one of my favourite department stores, staff are friendly, always very informative and willing to help, this store has everything you could ever want in one store, things such as food, restaurants, designer items, sports equipment, pets and many more, I highly recommend this place to anyone, I have to say the Christmas section is amazing and fun for everyone.
Despite being one of London s landmarks, it has everything you need from clothes and shoes to food and drinks! There is nothing not to like in this place other than it gets really crowded sometimes.
Definitely one of the more unique experiences I've had. Harrods has everything from cakes to luxury watches, from fresh seafood to Alexander McQueen and other designer brands. The building is incredible, but for me it's far too overwhelming to wander around a place with dresses worth more than my apartment. I'd say go once to see how the rich and famous live.
First visit so could not go in, how anyone finds their way around this place amazes me
What a fantastic place for a shopping or having tea, coffee - breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Exquisit atmosphere, fine array of goods, often exclusive to Harrods
If you come and shop / browse on Sunday morning between 11am and 12pm and it's not as crowded, but be mindful that cashiers are closed until 12pm so you won't be able to pay until then.
Beautiful store but everything is overpriced. Staff were very helpful
The place looks more modern than what it used to. Didn't feel the vibe.
A landmark of London it lives up to its name and offers everything that most could only dream of buying. It is a good experience to walk around and see all the products. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food hall is filled with amazing foods.
Little walk around, and such a beautiful scene at night.
I went to Harrods a month ago, I was really looking forward to it as it has got such a reputation. I can honestly say I was very disappointed the store was very chaotic, hard to find your way around. We went to the Christmas shop which was More
Crazy but need to See and pretty cool! You can get everything there!
Fabulous department store. If only they hadn t banned dogs, it would be perfect - and despite the lack of dogs it s still pretty wonderful.
The star is for the online ordering only. I actually really love the physical store and the experience shopping there all the time, but the online shopping experience is very bad. Last year, I ordered an item, the inside box is very dirty. There is not enough packing insides to make it feel any luxury. And this year, I bought two scarfs, one of them is the wrong colour. And both of them, do not make anyone feel any sense of luxury due to limited packing, even it is from Burberry. How can Harrods make this so wrong. The customer service is not helpful either. A lot of work needs to be done by customer themselves for mistakes made by Harrods. Very disappointing.
Harrods space and stock is amazing very different and beautiful. I work for a department store overseas and it s very different to how our store is run. Only thing I found frustrating were the staff as they were quite judgemental didn t even say a hello or offered to help. Saw them countless time talking to staff and looking at their phones. Had one staff stare at me didn t acknowledge me and pulled his phone out. If we had such a behaviour in the department store I worked for we would be in trouble. I had one staff member being rude during my experience as I was walking up and down the store she was one of the hair demo girls she literally said to her colleague I ll let her try if she come back around again and laughed. What my store training had taught me to treat every customer like your best friend and never crush their moments. Needless to say yes harrods has some great history and brands but unless you dress posh and rich you don t get any service from the staff.
Always a nice place to go! so much to look at! never purchased much here though!
Very bad online experience, one bag was missing in my order, so I called and they said there would be an investigation for the refund, one week passed and there was no update AT ALL.
I called them again and apparently no person in the customer service knew anything. This is my last time with them.
It a shadow of its former self the whole atmosphere has changed completely in the last 5 years that s when myself and my mum where there, it just feels like any other high street shop anywhere in the world, no nice green uniforms and top hats just you ordinary group 4 security with their miserable faces. The food hall was extremely disappointing half of it is missing or under construction or have been totally removed including iconic parts of it. It used to be an experience to go to Harrods a part of British culture now it s like walking into Primark the difference it has higher prices.
Fair enough, not quite impressive for the selection, but do provide luxury options
Always good. You do need the whole day to get the Harrods experience. There's so much to see and so much to try.
If you haven't been. You should go and just get the Harrods experience.
From clothing. Restaurants. Perfume. Shoes and boots. Everyone will find something they'd like.
Some things are at crazy price. It is Harrods at the end of the day.
If you do go. Make sure you give yourself enough time.
Nice place to visit but I wouldn't want to shop there -- except for the food hall, maybe. Has everything but expensive.
Iconic department store. Too busy to enjoy. The food hall smells amazing.
One of the best department store on the world. Chances are you will get lost inside
Really enjoyed my visit to Harrods! Easy to access via bus, tube or even walking. Easy to get lost inside, don't expect to exit the same door you came in because it'll be difficult to find. My only complaint is I got overcharged at one of More
Obviously a great place loads of really helpful staff, trying their best to extract every last penny out of me. Little did they know I was from Yorkshire. Could easily go mad in there. If they don't sell it you don't want it.
Best place to spend money
All you want will find it there
Luxury and Deluxe department store, with an excellent food hall, cafes. Being a Harrods rewards Gold member, I have shopped there a lot. But sadly sometimes would question there customer service and staff knowledge, as several times one has been told incorrect information.
Disappointed in window displays this year 2019 . Used to be fantastic!!! Just some posters now in windows .
Incredible old interior and specialist delis. Must see the central escalators.
When you're in London, you ought to put this on the must see list.....I knew about the clothing and beauty supplies, shoes, etc. What caught me by surprise was the bakery, meat and sea food counter...I had no idea. We spent a little time walking through, then grabbed a donut and a diet coke.... fun morning.
Not the floor still is in development. But went for technology here use to be a good selection but now it has moved to the 5 floor it was all stupid over priced stuff with floor space taken up by Samsung apple and Lacie. No sign of the rang which use to be here very disappointed
Well its Harrods. You know it stocks only high end items so bring your savings. If you are on a budget but want a Harrods product, visit their food hall ..you're sure to get something nice at a reasonable price.
Decent but busy. The bakery though is great. We always visit here for something. Often the doughsant. Everything you could want in a pastry doughnut crossover
I've been the 6th floor thank you very much and the tax refund counters help a lot .
Simply the best, better than all the rest, better than any other in its class
Harrods is full of history. If you are in London you might as well check this place out even if you aren't in the market for high end items, which they have plenty of! Pretty rooms with unique designs. The food areas are enough to make you walk in and look around. Amazing selection! The large Harrods gift shop is nice. The gifts aren't too expensive.
Such an amazing place to visit and shop. You can get everything here although it's expensive as you would expect. This shop is know around the world and it's beautiful especially at Christmas. Very easy to get lost inside though!!!
If you don t visit Harrods that mean you don t visit London
It s expensive, it s posh it s a fun place to go and watch the rich go about their business. The ice cream bar was so good.
Very lovely decoration in the entire Mall, you should be surprised by their elevator levels , absolutely amazing !
Well... its Harrods... all you expected is exceeded as you visit! Just great... the high tea was fab... the food store had great diversity of items to buy at exquisite quality, "the market area" the champagne bar was fab, the designer stores within, staff were polite, well composed and attemptive.
Amazing store full of everything you can imagine and personal service to die for!
Yes everything is expensive but given the quality and service it is justified.
Have to pop in if you are in the area to experience the store and don't forget to ride the central elevator, a work of art in its own right.
Nice shop very expensive I like the perfume hall the most
It's always nice to walk around, nice food and nice things and a gorgeous building, but I will generally go out to local shops or bond Street for actual shopping
Always a wonderful experience. If you are visiting London for the first time or even if you live here, this is the place to be to buy all your high-end luxury items. You can find all the famous fashion houses here and there is also a food hall for when you are feeling peckish from all that much needed retail therapy. Come with deep pockets or be ready to window shop which is also fine.
Like
I love everything about Harrods.its a place where you can enjoy not only shopping but also visit too.
Great to have a look round great selection of foods in the food halls. Well worth a visit
Great iconic place to visit. Opulence on a grand scale, fashion, food halls, exotic coffees, teas, fruits and more. The building itself, is gorgeous, inside and out, all the labels you want are in there as well as countless places to eat, including ground floor and top floor outdoor dining. Top tip, anything you can buy elsewhere, will be cheaper elsewhere.., but then it wouldn't come with this experience. So, pick your battles if on a budget! Knightsbridge itself is a great location, so look around as part of your visit. Fully recommended.
Euope's largest Deaprtment Store.
Harrod's was established 170 years ago... and us HUGE! Its site covers 5 acres... and, inside, there are 330 departments spread over 1.1 million square feet (about 40 acres) -- many of which highlight luxury/"high end" merchandise. Its central location, in Knightsbridge, is "very trendy". What I found most interesting, are the 28 "themed restaurants" which are meant to cater to every shoppers' whims! Harrods also has earned TripAdvisor's esteemed "Certificate of Excellence". A visit will also prove to be "most memorable"!
I hope that this Review has been helpful.
The shopping experience is indeed an experience .Altough at that time seemed to have more employees than customers.
Experience in itself. Each floor offering something different for shopping.
Fantastic place always visit when in London. If you what a nice meal than cant go wrong
It was in my bucket list to visit Harrods, and to buy the famed harrods bag. It is elegant, historical and opulent. It sells everything! Even artwork. No wonder mrs. Azerbaijan can spent 16millions pound in Harrods.
Great place to go shopping & restaurants. They also sell food, designer clothes, electronics among other things too like chocolate. Nice place to go window shopping. It's a large place u can get lost looking for what u really want
Great art deco building. Every room is beautifully design and one off. The staff are helpful but not pushy, they are very aware that a lot of people can't afford 70% of their stock.
I only give Harrods a mediocre score because I cannot afford much here! Not really, I just find the products in this large emporium very traditional or a bit gaudy. That said visitors may like the formal setting and high quality British products. My favourite thing in the store is the Food Hall, it s legendary. The store had lifts and escalators and street access so it s very accessible. Don t forget to buy something small to get one of the iconic shopping bag.
amazing food and wares, beautiful for christmas veey expensive
The pc's they put on display were absolutely amazing.
Loads of floors with a variety of items that suit everyone. Toys for children, fancy foods and designer clothes
Overrun, many people only watching but not buying anything nor eating in the dining hall, only sit and play with their smartphones. Pitty for Harrods
What's not to love. Shopping and good food. Crowd is brilliant
I thought I knew all the perfumes until I visited the harrods perfume department. Excellent and helpful staff and lovely place
This is a shop of the shoppers dream. Beautifully turned out staff.
Knowledgeable and friendly staff. High end department store with a great food hall. This place has everything you can imagine in it! Fantastic experience!
An absolute MUST in London if you want to see some super expensive clothes, weird designer's outfits and feel like you are a poor man with no money at all. This is the place that will make you reconsider your own existence.
It is much better than many museums and it is also free to watch even if you might start thinking if you really should be let in whilst wandering around all the super expensive items you could not afford even after selling your own kidney. Offers lots of marble interiors and smells like the modern era splendour.
Beiing in London we visit Harrods. The Food Hall is paradise for everyone who appreciates the finer things in life. Harrods is huge and, even after hundreds of visits, I still get lost. Comment: Directions are poor.
Obviously it s not your everyday department store. It s absolutely beautiful inside and well presented. A lot of the prices are out of reach for us working class but it s nice to spoil ourselves occasionally.
Maybe it was just us but we got lost a few times and wondered around in circles. I guess once they got me inside they didn t want me to leave. You could literally spend hours in there.
I have nothing negative to say about Harrods, it is on another level. We went Christmas time and the window displays are definitely worth seeing.
Also for those visiting by underground, the tube pretty much drops you outside.
Nice shopping, well merchandised, the gift shop has something for everyone. Variety of food to choose from, a must for those touring London
Harrods is not as it used to be. Good shopping but I prefer the old Harrods.
Festival of vanity... But everyone expect exactly that Amazing brands, food, drinks. You can spend hours there, depending on your wallet thickness of course
What can you say about Harrods?
Fantastic range of products, all the designer brands, excellent customer service and very knowledgeable staff.
Even if you are not purchasing something it's a great place to look around (especially the food hall).
Not the place to shop if you are on a budget. Probably the most famous and iconic store in London.
