A London icon. I couldnt afford any clothing within the department store but was fun to look and pretend. the food hall was extensive with lots of variety, smells and colours. You will pay a premium but that is part of the experience.

Harrods has always been a curiosity for tourist and the crowds on the ground floor is proof of this. Because of the crowds it is sometimes very difficult to move around and as a result you might just give up and walk out. But once you don t give up, you will get that bag of coffee or box of chocolates with the much sought after Harrods logo. Quality goods that are mildly overpriced is the other reward of shopping at Harrods. Yep

Standard overpriced shop. There are some things that are unique and actually worth buying but they are few and far between. This is why I didn't give it two stars. So basically, buy your plastic trinkets for your relatives that says Harrods. At this point snap out of your trance and head somewhere else that doesn't have a "Harrods tax"...

You either love it, or want to leave it. My wife dragged me in for shopping. My impression - stuffy - overbearing - overpriced, and highly suited for narcissists with more money than they need.

If Michael Jackson shopped in London, I m sure he did here. The best shopping experience I ve ever had. So much window shopping to be done, if only I had a wallet big enough to afford the wonders inside.

Oh my God!

Oh my God!

Okay, I've been to Harrods multiple times before and this one was long pending, so here it goes..

One has to visit the store to experience what quality retail is all about. Every aspect, every detail, is so nuanced that your heart will melt with affection and you will overwhelmed with overall retail therapy.

5+5 thumbs up for me and extra shout out to the amazing crew on each floor who always goes beyond the call of their duties to fulfill the customers need.

Happy Black Friday all of you!

All the big/luxury brands can be found in Harrods. It is a huge building which can sometimes be tricky to reach a specific place however, there are many staff members that will happily assist. Some areas inside the building can be very crowded.

The building is such a beauty from the inside and outside, especially at night (see the picture). It is one of London s must visit places.

Very expensive.

Very expensive.
Every thing is over priced

Great place to shop or just look around, I worked here for 4 years and to be brutally honest the current Harrods is nothing like it used to be :(

I knocked off two stars because the selection of restaurants here isn t the best, and because parking often is an issue if you wanted to drive in and avoid the trains.

It s in a good enough location, close to oxford street (walking distance on a nice sunny day).

It's alright.

It's alright.

Food hall is fantastic but the rest of the place just screams tat and cheap. It's the wrong side of luxury making it seem vulgar and tacky.

I always wanted to visit Harrods at Christmas and I'm glad I did. This place is enormous. The first 20 minutes we were lost, until we found a helpful member of staff who gave us a map. The food quarter is like something out of a film - More

All the things that make Harrods iconic: The Egyptian escalators. Afternoon tea and lunch in the top floor restaurant. Perhaps on this last visit it was the sweetness of the greeting from the charming doorman dressed in that wonderful long green Harrods coat. He was standing on a cold winters day opposite the side exit as I left, not many department stores thank you for your visit. I asked his permission to take a photo, he agreed and laughed. All part of the Harrods charm!

Mind blowing store - such beautiful displays... even the lifts are ornate! They have opulent jewellery and very expensive label clothes and also reasonable priced items too... i surprised myself that I bought quite a lot of items... and they let you pay in your own currency which is cool.

The place was full of people, you couldn't basically watch all the things properly, let alone shop anything. The area with the groceries was the one that you could find specific items in reasonable/affordable prices by a normal person . The building itself was very impressive on the inside, but way too chaotic.

Harrods is like a very fancy maze. Overall very elegant and clean. It has everything you might need so long as you are expecting extravagant articles. It has a gift shop so even if you can't go buying the next pair of speakers for your home, you're still able to get some souvenirs as proof you went there. The tea seems of upmost quality so I would recommend you take it, this is London after all.

More than a shopping destination, Harrods is a festival of senses to the eyes and nose. Beautiful in design and aesthetics the gigantic rooms will have you lost in its maze in the blink of an eye. Note: every till point has a store guide that has a map to the entire store.

I can not tell you how overwhelmed I am by my treatment from a lovely young lady called Erden on a customer service telephone call. I bought a pair of trainers for my late mother in April. She never got to wear them. I was able to return them and receive a credit voucher. Erden was so empathetic and made everything painless for me.
What a wonderful lady and a credit to your establishment. Thank you x

Visited the area and got a very expensive hand painted Christmas ornament. It's a huge store and the Christmas displays were magical. Loved the lighting here and the staff were super helpful also

First visit in 40 years.

First visit in 40 years.
Nothing like the real Harrods, a collection of 'designer' brands each in their own enclave. Food Hall (which I used to love) not a patch on what it was.
Prices were always high, but worth it. Just seems overpriced and awful value now

A very large and high end departmental store in London. It is so well known that it is a must visit for tourists. You can practically get anything you need here at a high end price. Navigating around this store requires some skills. One have to ask around to reach a destination. Some parts are under renovation and the partitioned wall made it more misleading.

This is the peak of retail shopping in my ohhh so humble opinion! The sheer magnitide of the highest quality retailers is truly astounding, what goes on behind the scenes is a herculian effort! Personally love there food court....wow!

A former world renowned place, - turned into an Arabic bazaar! No chance to shop anymore. All passages are blocked with clusters of Arabic men - chatting loudly, chewing their chewing gum, playing with prayer beads, while their women do the shopping (god knows, what they are buying, - all you could see on them are their burkas:)
Have to work with your elbows to get through... Exhausting and soul destroying experience... Especially the Food Hall - "what-hall?"...
