Harrods is definitely a Londons top spot...
Must see place.A prestigious and a landmark department store that is an icon. The interior wall average and slightly dated, giving a feeler hat the top management do not go on walkabout inspection. The staff were friendly and approachable; having good product knowledge. As a brand centre, the prices were as expected. Allow more than a few hours to enjoy its beauty and be prepared to spend as they do have some fabulous items. The chocolate centre turned out to be my favourite. If in town worth a visit.

I think Harrods is the best department store is the best in the world. You could spend all day in there - if you are a shopping addict then I would warn you to leave your credit card at home!!

I have never interacted with a staff member in there that was anything other than excellent. They have a good knowledge of how to get where you want - if they can t answer your question they are quick to clarify with someone who can.

One thing I love about the layout of the store is that you can get lost in there - it s like a maze that wants to trap you - you have to wrestle with it - but it inevitably wants you to win.

I m a working class guy and nearly suffocated after sitting down in the food hall and seeing the price of chicken and chips (it looked and sounded delicious but I ultimately made the walk out of there to get food on the high street!).

We bought a lovely handbag for my girlfriend that crippled my bank account - beforehand we were looking at ones that were very much out of our price range - nonetheless I enjoyed doing a cat walk show for the assistant with a hand bag that I later found out was the value of 4 months of my wages. She did say I had potential and should seek an agent...

Menswear moved up to second floor, one area is very exclusive, a kind of alley way snaking through with boutiques on either side. Updating every 5 to 10 years is important, to stay current and not fall behind, and bringing back some excitement to shopping.

This is one of the biggest and coolest department stores I have ever been to in my life. Its massive!!!! The associates are also super helpful. I was just blown away though by all they had there. Clothes, electronics, cosmetics, art, food and wine/alcohol... It was unlike any place I have ever been to. A must go for anyone visiting London.

What can I say? This place oozes with style and panache! Every time I visit here there's always something new to see, the store is so huge it's on another level. Its not necessary to make a purchase go as a window shopper and you will be greeted with the same warm welcome as an avid shopper.
I recommend all tourists to go to Harrods! You won't be disappointed.

For anyone travelling to London, a visit to Harrods is a "must". The array of things on display is breathtaking (as are some of the prices!!). I would allow at least half-a-day to visit all the departments as the place is so vast. If you have a smartphone, download the Harrods app as it contains interactive maps of all departments, so if you're lost simply type in your desired destination and the map will provide you with a route to follow (make sure you have "Bluetooth" enabled).

Staff are polite, friendly and helpful as one would expect. Definitely recommend trying something from the food halls. Looking forward to my next trip.

Great store in London, it has literally everything you need or even things you didn t think you needed! I personally worked there for Christmas some years ago (quite a while now) and I can confirm they treat their staff great, and the conditions are fair too. Good memories! Not to miss when visiting London.

Overwhelming, too busy, overpriced and best avoided. Good for spending money if you have it, but it does not even offer a decent selection. Tried to get a DSLR camera and their selection of Canon and Nikon was pitiful. Jessops and Amazon are far better. Good for people-watching for the expensive designer kit that some shoppers wear and how bored, sad and uninterested they look. Will not set my foot in there again.

I despise going shopping, but once or twice a month my Mrs needs someone to carry the bags. Can't lie the thought of going into Harrods on a hungover Sunday seemed dreadful. However I was pleasantly surprised, decent food deli, great butchery with some good quality meat. Prices were not too bad and the service was pretty spot on. Parking is a bit of a snag but that is the council's problem.

Although very busy there is enough people around to give you a hand. Decent mens range for all sizes and genres.

Amazing place to get lost in. We really did get lost walking around all the different departments inside Harrods. Eventually found the food area and bought some amazing cakes and treats but wow prices are just bonkers. Never thought I d More

Been around for many years and still the same excitement going to the world famous Harrods department store. Something new every time to view, this time was the oversized teddy and most expensive writing pen. Loving the magical Christmas store :)

Great shopping experience for the special occasions, yes I agree it can be a little more expensive than it everywhere else, but you are paying fof te location and the staff experience and knowledge. I don't shop here often but will do for that special gift or purchase.

Absolutely love Harrods, one of my favourite a es to be when I visit London. The products are second to none, the Christmas section is just beautiful. I buy all my staff presents from the gift section, the shopping tote bags and mugs are so elegant and make wonderful little presents.
The food Hall is spectacular, every single food item you can think of and the hampers and really reasonable. Perfect.

Back in the day, the great British public would gaze at their television sets every Boxing Day to look at the die hard devoted sleeping in the doorways of Harrods anticipating a bargain. A trip to this iconoclastic store this past Boxing Day was something of an anti climax with a huge amount of shoppers but of the 'Arabic princess' variety. All the women looked vaguely like Kim Kardashian and there were no signs of the fevered tensions there used to be abound in this store at the kick off of Sales Silly Season.
No doubt though, it will still appeal to those needing a souvenir tin of biscuits for an aunt or something....but certainly NOT what it was.

The quintessential luxury mall, and probably one of the best ones in the world. Plenty of options inside, with all major brands being present, personal shopping services, and even a loyalty program with rewards. Prices are pretty expensive, but that's to be expected. The food court is really good, both in terms of quality and variety of options presented. Great for lunch or an afternoon snack.

Staff are always so helpful. Came in to Harrods to purchase a new Apple TV, had to get directions and it was a simple process. The team at apple within Harrods were kind and attentive, allowed me to ask suitable questions to get the right product, they offered me alternative products to suit my needs and even offered additional support. Quality service and really happy with my experience.

A must see for anyone visiting London. The Egyptian elevators are worth a trip alone. Plenty to see and buy here, from Harrods branded items and souvenirs, to top of the line luxury items. You can also sate any appetite at the numerous restaurants and eateries inside.

Terrific experience. The food halls have an incredibly large selection of items and the clothing - accessories variety is second to none. But... everything is expensive around here, so prepare your wallets.

Super helpful and friendly staff who are assisting when needed but also leave you be when you want so you can really look around and try things on etc. Without having to make any commitments early on. They have everything I've ever went in there for. Incredibly impressive.

Harrod's.... I'm giving it 5 stars because: Harrod's. Had afternoon tea with friends, the Earl Grey is superb. It was a whole experience, and quite enjoyable. We made reservations but when we arrived, we discovered a mix-up. Not to worry, we were offered complimentary champagne in the champagne lounge. But we didn't wait long.... we had a great booth, great service. Even with a little bump in the order (one of our teas was forgotten) the waiter handled it gracefully and gave us complimentary coffee. Eggs Benedict - delicious. And just being at Harrod's... the Fendi escalator was kinda ridiculous but kinda fantastic at the same time. Loved it.

Poor service from the manager at the shoe salon downstairs. Staff not attentive at all and seemed like she had something better to do when I was looking to purchase shoes. The manager has no customer service skills at all. You would expect a lot more from harrods in knightsbridge but I guess not . Would advise not to buy any shoes from here at all. Buy them direct elsewhere.

I love the choices that are available at Harrods, especially the unique products.

Although on this occasion we came to the Georgian for afternoon tea for our wedding anniversary. I was really impressed I could select the halal option when we booked. The afternoon tea was great, although I was severely disappointed when I realised, when the staff used the same tongs used for the ham sandwiches for mine sandwiches, needless to say I didn't eat them. Although we had told each of the 3 servers that we had the halal option, the staff clearly don't understand anything about cross contamination. So if like me this is important to you please make sure your food is handled appropriately.

Only thing I would say to Harrods is if you offer something, please try to understand what it really means or don't offer it. I don't have a choice when you mess up my options and I would rather have the option to avoid this situation altogether.

I love Harrods for all it's glitz and glamour. Just watching the people going through the store doors, keeps me amused. Jean's from Armani to Primark clad bodies all shop here. Whether your there to buy a key ring or a Chanel outfit, everyone is welcome.

Chocolates, cheese, fish and sumptuous cakes all beautifully presented.
A glass of champagne or maybe an afternoon tea, something for everyone.
I came out clutching my Chanel carrier bag too! I bought two eyeliners no more expensive than John Lewis.
Beautiful at Christmas.

Been here twice for afternoon tea. First time was amazing especially the service. The second time wasn't as nice. The service was slow and attention to detail wasnt there as it was extremely busy. Would rather go somewhere more calm and relaxing.

It is difficult to say, that I did not like the place. It is definitely worth a visit if you are tourist. Finding anything specific there is practically impossible -- I searched for leather gloves, and asked 5 people where to find them, after 20 minutes of navigation through luxurious floors I was brought to a stand with 4 (four) different gloves! Super strange experience.

I went again this year at Christmas and honestly, the Harrods Christmas decorations and displays never fail to amaze me. They have a whole section dedicated solely to Christmas, including a Christmas grotto with Santa and elves.
The staff are also very helpful and always at hand, eager to help you find exactly what you re looking for!

On entering, one is overwhelmed by the intense aromas released by the cosmetics displays. These then permeate the surroundings, waft throughout areas immediate to the lifts and disperse therefrom. Bottom line, the store is unfit for sentient beings

Large, overpriced, over the top, tourist trap department store, situated amongst large, overpriced, over the top, foriegn owned houses and apartments. Putting that aside for a moment, there are some beautiful displays of flowers and food to be seen inside. Hmmmm.....not my cup of tea.

Despite how busy Harrods was (given it s Christmas season and all), it s still one of my favourite places to shop/visit during this season. Especially as it gets dark so early, so the lights on the building have that extra festive feel.

When you get a chance book and afternoon tea sitting.. you will not be disappointed, the ambience alone can take you back in time.

Everything under one roof. Very good quality stuff.

The staff there are very friendly and professional.

You could easily spend all day in this shop, and not realise the time.

If money is no object to you, you could buy all you need there. Very busy, buzzing with loads of tourists.

I used to go with my family regularly up until 6 months ago. I started to get disappointed with the feel of the place. The staff used to be more helpfull (They are always polite) they used to be eager to run around after you to make sure you had a good experience, but they started to become short and sweet so I stopped going. I decided to go on my birthday to see if the atmosphere had changed but I was disappointed. It has now turned into an overpriced supermarket. It is a pity as it was one of the most amazing places to visit.
