Beautiful department store, lots and lots of selection. Worth seeing at least once. Only gave 3 stars though because everything seemed terribly overpriced.
When you are in London.. you have to visit this British classic store
Love, love, love this place
I feel like a kid in Harrods
Busy at times particularly weekends. enjoyed more weekdays.
An extremely upscale mall in London! I could see items from all fashion brands, toy stores, jewelry, food items, etc. It was very clean and even has a dress code to enter it, even though the dress code is just that you need to avoid flip flops and have proper clothing.
Hate it .is nice but anyone can see the class difference.
This place is amazing and I love visiting the food hall - it's a beautifully displayed area and you feel like you're in a wonderland. I asked the lady how fresh the strawberries were that were dipped in chocolate and she said everyday they are fresh but she then proceeded to pick out the box from the display so I hope to god that they were created this morning. Everything is incredibly expensive but it is good quality and staff are very helpful and friendly.
The best shopping centre in the world! You just stand there and admire. You love absolutely everything about it and wish you belonged to the royal family! It s a hole in the pocket.
When in London you just have to go to Harrods, what am amazing store with spectacular features in
We visited Boxing Day ; the place was over crowded. We purchased some perfumes and clothes on Sale!. When we came to oxford street the same perfumes were much cheaper than Harrods and that to we found that it was over priced for a SALE in Harrods!
However we had difficulties in getting our returns back as they never provided us with a sale receipt ; the only receipt was on our shopping bag was the till receipt with the details of the staff who served us and not the itemized receipt of goods!
We had to go all the way to the second floor where they the VAT returns and we had to get a duplicate receipt and then process the receipts to get our refund back !
Over priced for what you pay ! You just pay for the Name I suppose and not for the value of goods!
Fancy shop, fancy food worth a look even if just to see the things.
The best place. Beautiful, always clean, helpful staff at every counter. The ice cream parlour is the best I visit every time I'm in London.
What can you say about Harrods .. if you have the money ... a great place to buy almost anything ot seems ... without a huge wallet.. an almost museum type quality of visit ... so many wonderful things on sale. Were pits and helpful staff. A trip to the foodhall takes you arround the world in some sort of Victorian time shift! The watch department is to die for ... marvel at the things on sale ... many ... sorry most... out of this world
They have the best collections from the best companies
Awesome building.Food court out of this world.Very classy and expensive but treat yourself If budget allows
Excellent, they have everything you want. Be prepared to walk a lot as it's very big and very busy.
Everyone should visit Harrods at least once in their lives just for the experience. There is no other store quite like it. Apart from the sheer size of the place, it oozes prestige and splendour. Staff will do everything they can to assist you - even if it's opening a door for you. And who doesn't want one of their famous green bags?
Harrods, what is there to say except it is sucha . wonderful experience. Lunch here is amazing and the food excellent, service always fabulous. Highly recommend a visit if you're in the area and try for lunch and visit the food section. Wonderful
Harrods is ... Harrods. It is a different world on its own with plenty of choices for all tastes. Yes it might be expensive and yes it might not be for everyone but thats what makes it luxurious. It is amazing to visit even if you do not want to shop. They have a dessert bar that is worth going to.
Lovely architecture, lots of nice things to look at and buy if you have the cash. Tills are slow at this time of year (Xmas), queues are long.
It is just so funny to walk around and see how overpriced everything is there - I have had a real laugh both times I went there. Also they got some very nice and over speeded 2.5 m/s lifts.
Harrods is a nice trip in its own, this restaurant is so good and the atmosphere is very nice and the food was delicious but a bit pricey:)
We visited the Christmas department. Many of the items on the display shelves were covered in a layer of dust.
World renowned shopping mall, you can get everything under one roof, but a tad expensive.
Amazing store, wonderfully friendly staff, very helpful
Wonderful store, huge range of items for sale, beautifully presented, with exceptional quality of items and levels of service.
Nice experience. Too crowded due to the holiday season. Managed to buy some desserts n they were good.
So many variety of things with good quality and fair price!
Absolutely amazing mall. 7 total floors with selections from nearly all imaginable brand names. All types of food and clothing are present here, just zoom into the mall on Google maps to see all stores floor by floor. Was absolutely packed on the Saturday night before Christmas but I imagine that traffic dies down a lot on other days. Had a great visit.
Bought a lovely sourdough loaf a cuppa and a scone ....only seventeen quid ...
It is good but being very big also has their negatives
Still OK but when here in the early seventies the foodhall was so much better with a greater selection of products. Unfortunately society has changed over time and not always for the better. Most definitely worth a visit just to see and look.
Got myself a wonderful smoothie, really hit the spot. Was very expensive for what it was but 100% worth it. Us country people are not on the premium London wage.
I really enjoyed walking around this place as well as the food, but some of the employees here would do well to not stare so hard if they don't plan on engaging you. I was glared at for most of my stroll through like I was going to steal something.
We visited like tourist. Staff are really lovely and friendly. You need to win the lottery to shop there. I better stick Poundland till then ...
It s absolutely a paradise for adults and children!
I can spend a day there, have brunch, seafood platter, afternoon tea .... and shop till I drop!
Extremely upset by staff. Super stuck up unless you were wearing designer clothes and bags. The airport shops are so different! Just so helpful and chatty, you would buy anything you don't even need.
Very busy when we were there on a Saturday afternoon. We went to the gift department for some souvenirs.
Very expensive place , if you need to look at the price of things in this store you shouldn't be shopping there.
I know, I know ... this is the most famous store in the world. I love it but it just feels so tight and dark in some places + staff attitude is in a lot of times not what you expect
What a wonderful day out!
A must visit if you're planning on visiting London. You could easily lose track of time and spend all day in there. Despite some of the high price tags, there will be something for everyone. It s no wonder Harrod s is famous worldwide. No better department store in London, or the UK.
Went here last week for my 60th birthday treat,Lovely place. Be aware that this is a shopping place, very expensive stuff. But overall very well arranged, staff always helpful and educated. Make sure you try their strawberry cheesecake. I had it and it was one of the best I have ever had. The coffee was good as well.
The best shop in the world! Beautifully laid out. Everything that your heart desires. Just love walking around dreaming...
Probably one of the finest departmental store in the world with an immense array of products on offer from all sorts of foodstuffs, pastries, meats, to many choice food outlets, coffee and chocolates. Not forgetting the huge array of luxury goods on offer covering handbags, jewellery, watches, clothing, electronic items and high end stuff for the young. Service at Harrods is first class.
The store decorations are exquisite specially during the summer and Christmas holidays and warrant a visit even if it s just for window shopping.
Very cool to see but it is too expensive to buy anything. Inside it was awsome. The food looked soooo deliscious... You definiteley have to go there!
Amazing store. Beautiful collection. However very dirty toilets
The wide range of articles and the architecture is certainly impressive, however it is pretty much a department store for the upper 0.1%. In other words - they primarily sell stuff that most people don't need and most people also can't afford.
It is nice, but since I went to Seoul's Lotte flagship Aveunal Department store, harrods is a step down . Their food court & food shop is also not nearly as nice as Lotte's. But I go to harrods twice a year. Each time I'm in london, & I enjoy the shopping. They have a great & varied selection of mens clothes, from trendy youthful to more conservative traditional. I enjoy their sausage rolls from their food court. 7/27/19: I ate their great sausage roll. Nice clothes options. Mostly helpful staff. They have high end Prada, LV, Burberry, Gucci, etc, boutique shops inside, but their offerings are less than at flagship stores of the brands in London.
Just a department store you go there for the name and then see stupid high prices prefer debenhams
Wow! It was such an experience! It was grand! I have never gone inside before. It's so wonderful with different areas organised on different floors. It's a high standard complex and a great day out for anyone who loves to go out but not on bus tours. Things are really pricey though they are of great quality. The pharmacy was one of the places I visited, I didn't expect organic vitamins that were certified while the usual medicines were behind the counter. If you go to the toilets, you get to try out the latest perfume so you can decide if it's what you'll like you buy. The only issue I found is there's limited gluten free stuff. Not sure if other dietary requirements are catered for but it's still worth visiting. IF possible, take some food with you if you don't like eating out or you have intolerance or allergies.
The food hall is great, with a good selection of many different items. The cake selection is particularly good, as are the pastries. However, it s always busy so if you want to sit down for a coffee you will probably have to wait. They also roast their own coffee in store, which is rather mesmerising.
Very huge departmental store and its my first time going to Harrods and they have so many designer brands and its worth visiting
It a good place to shooping and everything is in one roof. No need to walk to others place. All branded item you can get here.
Great evening meal. Excellent service from all the staff
An amazing place but don't get lost. It goes on forever with room after room of amazing things and uniquely Brittish charming decor. The food halls were just fantastic.
Amazing experience. Could not afford anything but still loved it
A marvellous departmental store, where you can buy each and every item of your requirements from eatables to wearable and lifestyle. Really fantastic approach to maintain this store.Loved the site
Oh how the other half live!!!
Although I'm not their target client however, I was well looked after and not made to feel like an imposter.
Just went for some chocolate covered coffee beans. When I found them (with some help) I was congratulated by a stately gentleman who tipped his cap and proclamied good choice squire...
It's Harrods, we couldn't afford anything!! but we love looking around it's an amazing store.
Shopping in Harrods is an iconic London experience, not to be missed. If however, you feel intimated by excesses of wealth this is NOT the place to go!
Beautiful biggest shopping in London is .....Harrod 's Center ...is like magical history. ...
You have a lot of choices. ....Very good
The Christmas decorations were disappointing. Food hall was amazing.
It s famous - you ll love it or you ll hate it! ;) Not my place - in my opinion it s over crowded and overrated. Sorry Harrods
Popped into to the food hall as probably only things I could afford. Great produce. I bought chocolate and a croissant crossed with a donut. Delicious.
Went to watch section, great place to compare brands
Certainly a very nice store, but it's all broken up into small boutiques, making it difficult to browse. Also was quite crowded, somewhat of a maze but had good signage everywhere. I only went in for a chocolate eclair.
Luxury purchases and amazing atmosphere. Open to public. Great collection of products ranging from food to latest technologies spread throughout 5 extensive levels. A restaurant at ground level and a tea room in level 4. Very polite and helpful staff. Some are judgemental but I guess its not avoidable as dressing up and looks does matter and is part of the decorum .
Really just an overpriced department store, but great fun to say you've been inside. Worth a look if you're in the area.
Best place to visit and get into the Christmas spirit. It's like being lost in Wonder Land and I find it such a stress free place to shop. Fabulous place to shop.
A bit pricey. Seriously, a British store that is filled with so many beautiful things. A pleasure for some serious retail therapy
We had a reservation to have High Tea at Harrod s. But we were quite early and thirsty, we looked over many places inside to try and grab something to drink. The place was packed, but we finally found a small table for four at the Burger Bar where we got a lemonade and three diet Cokes along with one small side of fries. That set us back about forty-five Euros. Welcome to Harrod s!
As time was approaching reservation for High Tea, we made our way to Harrods Tea Rooms. Once seated beneath a beautiful flowering tree, we were offered many different types of tea and when my wife was asked, she chose coffee for her High Tea experience. Alas, there was no reproach from our server and he supplied her with coffee. There were four different kinds of sandwiches of which the cheese puff and beef were the best. The pastries were all good however. Service on the whole was a bit lackluster against what we expected.
A side observation, the reservation defined a dress code for the High Tea and we saw several tables with folks wearing restricted items of attire. No one seemed to be refused service if they were willing to pay. So, what s the point of having the restrictions? All in all, it was an interesting experience we are glad we did it.
This place is a joke. If you wanna spend time to see middle east ninja ladies and their 2 meter bearded husbands with 7 kids spending 1000 pound on a feet lotion i would definitely recommend it.
One of the most beautiful shipping malls that I have ever been to. Ambience is so beautiful, it looks like an ancient Egyptian monument. There are so many multi cousine restaurants too.
Nice but expensive shop. All the big brands under one roof. You don't feel very cosy...
I wish there was a bigger selection in Ladies designer handbags but still love this place!
If you are rich then its the best place to shop.
It has also got a beautiful food hall which i can say is affordable. But the jewellery, watches, handbag, clothes are expensive. They've also got there own collection. They month there is a different display on the ground floor area. Last time when i was there it was Aston Martin vintage on display. I heard was from the movie jamesbond.
One of the few places in the world with the best of the best fragrances in the world.
Large and interesting variety of foods. Especially chocolates. Sandwiches and wraps less than average. Picture shows 3 bites into a chicken wrap(all lettuce).
