I have been to London a few times now and always go to Harrods. I love it!! Although there are expensive brands there the gift shop is huge and full of great Harrods branded products and gifts. The food Hall is also a must see and is great to wonder around in and has a huge selection of food on offer. Would highly recommend.
Love going there. And if you are a average person with not much money you can still buy something. But not everything. Toy shop is good.special if you have child with you.
Go to listen to some high fidelity audio equipment in the technological section. V nice vry good very swag yes very nICE. I wish I could live there!!!!
PS now I am complete after looking at Harrods department store...
Expect a lot of visitors. Sometimes feels more like a sightseeing excursion than a shopping experience. A lot to offer. Currently a lot of renovation taking place to upgrade and make it easier for shoppers to get around.
Don't expect a quiet shopping experience.
Impressive and super expensive! But you already know this!
I understand this is harrods but it is realy expensive most of things here can be bought elsewhere for 10-35% less of the price.
A nice place to visit once, even if you can't afford anything
Waiting to pay at till for 10 mins while assistant messed around with the toys
London landmark, iconic, luxurious emporium, crown jewel of retail that sells everything imaginable. Stunning architecture and interior make shopping delightful. Nice atmosphere and ambiance as well as fantastic customer service. They sell all your heart desires. It s mesmerizing walking around and taking in everything you see from worlds best high end stores to impressive food court with wide selection of delicious and flavourful food. Stores displays are fabulous as well as quality, very unique merchandise. Great memorable shopping. From time to time we deserve to treat ourself with beautiful things that makes us happy and there is no better place in the World to feel like Royalty while experiencing luxury shopping at its best. Harrods motto:
Omnia Omnibus Ubique from Latin: Everything for all people everywhere couldn t describe this Grand emporium better.
Words cannot adequately describe Harrods. It is simply the most comprehensive super premium amalgamation of the highest end boutiques under one roof, perhaps anywhere in the world. Even the food hall is super high end premium. Unfortunately the outside of the building is under construction so you can't take in the grandeur and quaintness from the outside, but once you're inside, hold on, it's out of this world.
Not as fun or good as it used to be. Definitely lost character and personality and got rid of a lot of sections to make more room to handbags and jewellery. It lost a lot of character. Nowadays is not very different to a up-scale shopping mall.
It's Harrods! World famous place for luxurious purchases!
Plus the building itself is absolutely stunning.
Always a fun place to see cool toys, electronics, etc. Beautiful building!
London staple that ever needs to check out at least once. Super friendly and helpful service and every department. The bakery is top-notch.
Meh! Too crowded always, takes forever to find associates who really want to help. I would go to stand alone stores or Selfridges.
Great place. I would recommend that there were more signs that show i. e. where the lifts or where the restrooms are, since the building is enormous.
How it's changed, I could only recognise the Food Hall
I'm not the best shopper but the opulence is worth the visit alone. The food halls are incredible and I enjoyed some time in the tea rooms reading a book, the last of a trilogy by JP Harker called Lion Cub.
I gave it 4 stars because it is over expensive. good quality and you can find somethings only here.
Of course 24 carat golden food, as Dates :-)
A overpriced labyrinth where i only go because of my kids. I think the other warehouses like Selfridges are much better price/quality dept stores imho
Historical shopping mall with great variety. The bakery and deli get the highest score. Cafe's are not bad. The rest of the mall is standard modern brands with some catering for the rich and famous.
Good quality bread and cakes, pink peppers and anchovies. Level of service here is next level - each customer is made to feel special... Lady in the Aesop shop was also very pleasant, knowledgable and efficient...
So many people around Christmas time. You would not enjoy the special feeling of your luxury purchase. Recommend visiting only if you know what you need and just go buy and collect it
Harrods is Harrods isn't it.... Lots of luxury goods that are great to look at but wouldn't dare touch. Bought some Xmas tree decorations .. lovely atmosphere and not too crowded
Harrods is a high-end department store located on Brompton Road in Knightsbridge. The original business was started by Charles Henry Harrod in 1824 and eventually it found its way to Knightsbridge in 1851, where you find the giant department store today.
Since the 1850s, Harrods has transformed itself into one of the most highly recognisable department stores in the world, now seeing over 15 million customers enter its doors each year. The department store is absolutely huge, including 4.5 acres of floorspace, selling all manner of items and brand name products. You can also find over 30 different restaurants, cafes, coffee shops and other eateries at Harrods. It has obvious appeal to those interested in a bit of shopping. However, Harrods is also a nice place to visit for non-shoppers.
First, this is a well decorated, well maintained and beautiful department store. It just looks nice inside and there are some lovely attractions to see. Highlights for us include the Egyptian Escalator that looks like a part of the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. We also enjoy the decorative Art Nouveau food hall and the Christmas department which is probably the best we have seen after Macy's Department Store in NYC.
During the Christmas season, the entire store is decked out for the occasion and children can visit the famous Santa's Grotto to see and have pictures taken with Santa Claus. You can also pick up seasonal Christmas tree ornaments, gifts and souvenirs which can be conveniently packed and brought home with you.
Overall, we have enjoyed making visits to Harrods in Knightsbridge over the years, it is a nice attraction even if you don't want to shop. During the Christmas season, its a great place to add to your must-see list for London.
Even for a non shopper it was a great experience. Coffee and cake was great too. Glad eat out to help out was on too!
Beautiful building, very classy and a great experience even if you don t buy anything
Amazing foodhall! Top quality food. Remove half the tourists and would be ideal.
Number 1 place to get all your luxury desires satisfied. Anything you fancy you'll find here, if it's not in stock, they'll deliver. Any kind of top-end household items, food, liquor, toys etc. you can get here. Can be quite touristy though.
What can I say! This place is amazing very impressive place to visit.
It s good to visit once at least to buy some stuff to remember when you visit London!!
If you have multiple Shopping list, best place to shop around. Keep in your mind don t look at the price tags when you shop here. Because this place bring unforgettable experience of life spending Money. I loved here Kids department, they have multiple choices for Kids World . Also they sell home interiors too. I felt so Peace full even did not spent much money. Made me so relax due to the Happy and friendly staff. Worth spending whole day with family to look around and setting up the Goals to buy Good.
Great store and definitely should be on anyone's list of places to visit.
Not my first visit, but it was for my daughter. Of course it's a fabulous place to visit and marvel at all the amazing products on offer. There is something for all budgets here. I'm sure my daughter would of been happy to of been left to live in either the Toy Kingdom or The Food Hall! The staff are friendly and helpful too which is nice in such a place.
It's Harrods! How the other half live, but a great place to have a mooch about.
Still my favourite department store in the capital. I have lost count of the times I have visited and am confident I could navigate this beautiful store, blindfolded! From the foodhalls to the designer fashion stores and everything in between, Harrods just does it right. The staff are all well dressed and only to happy to help. The restaurants are excellent, with a wide variety to suit everyones fancy. You may want to grab a Store Guide upon entering though, as it can be quite the maze for newcomers.
Who doesn't love going to Harrods to buy a tin of tea?
A fun place to visit. Be sure and take a peek at the tea room on the fourth floor and the food court on the first floor. Browse other departments for famous brands and excellent service but expect to pay top prices unless you catch a sale. The gourmet grocery department is fun.
High price items. Something for everyone. Plenty of walking as lots to see on many different levels. Interesting and enjoyable shopping experience. Prepare yourself for lots of walking and lots of escalators. A definite must do whilst in London.
The experience was outta this world! The size of this place, the service and the attention to detail is hard to wrap your head around for us common folk. Definitely a shopping venue for the very affluent! I looked at a hammered copper pot More
This is the unique ,legendary , high end mega store in London and probably all over the world.
If you didn't visit Harrods while you were in London so that means you didn't visit London.
The store is 5 floors with high end and super expensives clothes , watches , accessories and stuff. All high end brands are there like Prada , Armani , Rolex and a lot of others.
The decoration is fascinating, there are Pharon decoration everywhere.
Also there is a gift department , where you can buy affordable gifts and cool stuff.
Also with clothes and expensive stuff, there are technology department which had apple , Google ( Google pixel ) and others.
There are cafe and restaurants.
The food hall is Exceptional, specially the chocolates ( they are very tasty and all of chocolates type are there).
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Really if if anyone visits London , Harrods must be in priority to visit .
Enjoy a wonderful trip to Harrods. Start with some chocolate on the ground floor .. perfume and sunglasses then collapse upstairs on the second floor with either great pizza or ice cream. Such friendly staff and a whole lot of luxury.
During the day it's a beautiful place but at too many Arab
Fantastic place to visit. Lots of varieties. Limitless possibilities.
The Food Hall is as luxurious as you would expect, and equally as busy. All the food available has been lovingly and expertly made; I particularly liked the varieties of pies available, but everything looked incredible. As you can assemble full meals with many individual components the cost can really add up, but I promise it's worth the expense.
A royal place to visit and see luxuries never seen before.
Visit the technology and the bakery.
Its unique
Huge inside, very busy, not very easy to find your way around, allow lots of time to explore.
Nice visit I have lived in London for over 30 years and first time I have visited was really impressed. Especially with the selection of chocolates!!!
One of my favorite shopping centers in the whole world!
It's Harrods, can't really say anything else really.
So disappointing Christmas didn't really exist there Christmas decorations shop was awful signage to find your way around was awful I think this will be the last time I will be visiting
Got a couple of thousand pounds in your pocket? Do visit if you are in London
This place is Mecca for fashionista, I am in heaven here. The problem is there is never enough time in my busy schedule to indulge.
Kids department was way better organized before and now it is corridor like shop with everyone stuck in between.
Nice experience very expensive but its quality all the way
Glad I went but signs to anything dont make sense we walked round in circles. Lovely building but might go again have a proper nose.!
Luxurious place to purchase expensive and high class profile items
The lifts weren't well located in the store and we had to do long paths to avoid the stairs with our wheelchair... I thought that this type of store would have paid more attention to accessibility. Anyway, still a great luxury store, but not for everyone.
Beautiful shopping center, I especially enjoyed the Bvlgari section because of the recognizable smell and the great layout. The staff was very accommodating and I went home with a lot of bags and happiness.
Clean, very helpful staff, gorgeous merchandise, wonderful experience
If you are really interested in shopping or just looking at the goods this is the place for you. Best department is the lovely food department and also the Egyptian staircase and area.
The customer service was good at most of the stalls... Only Luis Vuitton was a little rude and unhelpful... But I bought Gucci instead. Lovely guy.
You can find everything here that is high end. My personal favorite is the chocolate area. All the truffles are to die for.
Worth going even if you cannot afford to actually buy anything apart from souvenirs. We always visit the deli to buy lunch to eat elsewhere. Costs a bit more but you can tell it's quality
Has an adequate amount of everything.
Fantastic jewellery and watches and that's saying something when I see both on a daily basis. Well worth a visit.
You never arrive London if you don't visit Harrods, knightbridge.
Harrods displayed the size and original price of a Burberry cashmere wrongly on their website carelessly so this is not what I wanted when it was delivered to me. I sent couple of emails to request for a return and refund but they never responded. I'm deeply disappointed by their poor after-sale service. It is an extremely unpleasant shopping experience with this big brand and I will not purchase from Harrods or recommend this shop to anyone in the future.
Its a place of luxury . With its high end designer store . interior & the atmosphere is just mind blowing . huge shops with stuff that would make shopaholic out of you .I personally like a shop with Christmas celebration , nice personalised Harrod stuff for take away for family . Recommended
definitly a landmark worth visiting. It depicts the luxury market at its very best, with exclusive products and the best costumer service imaginable
It's Harrods need to say more? Looks like a theater of silly people. A boulvard for barbie dolls who wants to show off and spend daddy's creditcard. This has nothing to do with a store.
My friend and I visited Harrods on a very wet Saturday after giving up trying to get into several museums. I'd never been before and didn't know what to expect. My eyes were adnorned with a menagerie of smells sounds colours, expensive goods, fine clothes and exotic foods. The place was stuffed a huge assortment of people but didnt feel over crowded - like a very exclusive market. Each hall lead onto some more exotic and exquisite but also affordable. My friend and I felt like princesses walking around looking at clothes and gems, fine wines and expensive wares. The great thing was is that there was no pressure to buy. It felt you could shelter from the rain and then be gone or spend millions - it is up to you. We settled on one of the many eating locations for a wine and expensive cake each that didn't break the bank but the staff were attentive and courteous. A great experience and would love to go again.
Outstanding high priced department store and food hall
